Abstract

This study aimed to develop a conceptual model for fostering students’ spiritual intelligence through the ISMUBA curriculum at SMA Muhammadiyah Imogiri, Indonesia, with a focus on promoting sustainable educational practices in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education). It employed a qualitative case study design and purposive sampling; participants comprised students from grades X–XII, ISMUBA teachers, and school management as key informants. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and documentary analysis of the curriculum and school programs. Thematic analysis was used to identify patterns in the integration of spiritual values, and findings were linked to theories of spiritual intelligence and Islamic education through literature synthesis. The results revealed that the six ISMUBA subjects Al-Qur’an and Hadith, Aqidah Akhlak, Fiqh, History (Tarikh), Muhammadiyah Studies, and Arabic collectively enhanced students’ transcendental awareness, meaning-making, ritual discipline, empathy, and social responsibility, all of which contribute to the realization of SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions). The proposed model explained implementation mechanisms such as interactive-reflective approaches, teacher exemplarity, habitual religious practices, and adaptation to contemporary issues. The implications of this research provide a practical framework for Muhammadiyah educators and curriculum developers to strengthen the spiritual dimension in teaching.

Abstract

Interfaith dialogue is one of the programs at the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies of Religion and Culture (PSIAB) Semarang, which in its activities involves participants with different faith backgrounds, this program aims to understand how to understand other religions and what their perspectives are, so that harmony is created between religious communities. The researcher used a qualitative approach with a case study method to explore the process of strengthening religious moderation through interfaith dialogue, then in data collection, data collection techniques were used which were carried out through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies. The results of the study showed that the interfaith dialogue activities organized by PSIAB made a real contribution to strengthening the religious moderation program initiated by the Ministry of Religion. Through thematic discussions and interfaith scripture studies, this activity encouraged participants to think critically and reflectively about differences in beliefs, while maintaining a balance between the steadfastness of personal faith and respect for diversity. Moderation in this case is understood as an inclusive and peaceful way of practicing religion. This study aims to emphasize the importance of an empirical approach in understanding religious moderation, by making dialogue practices at PSIAB a concrete example of openness-based education that strengthens social cohesion in a multi-cultural society through scriptural reasoning, thematic approaches, and curriculum integration.

Abstract

Learning media is a tool that serves to convey learning messages. The media used in this study were 15 colorful stacked blocks with 3 pillars. The purpose of this research is to determine whether there is an effect of using stacking block learning media, so that it can improve the ability to recognize hijaiyah letters in children aged 3 to 4 years at Mutiara Islami PAUD. The research method used is quantitative experiment with One-group Pre-test Post-test Design. This research is a study with one experimental group given treatment (treatment). The treatment carried out in this study consisted of 4 times which showed the results of the pretest with an average of 25.87 in the Undeveloped (BB) category and the Post-Test with an average of 78, 47 with the category of Developing According to Expectations (BSH). This study also tested normality, homogeneity which states that the data are normally distributed and homogeneous. Testing the tcount hypothesis (t-test) with ttable, obtained tcount = 20 from the table with a significant level of = 0.05 and degrees of freedom dk = 14, then the value of t = 2.145, so that tcount > ttable is 20 > 2.145. Abstract

Abstrak − Aplikasi pembelajaran interaktif pemrograman Python ini dikembangkan untuk mendukung proses belajar mandiri bagi pengguna tingkat pemula melalui media digital yang fleksibel dan mudah diakses. Aplikasi dirancang sebagai platform pembelajaran berbasis web yang menyajikan materi secara sistematis dan interaktif guna meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual serta keterampilan pemrograman pengguna. Pengembangan aplikasi menggunakan framework Django yang mendukung arsitektur aplikasi web yang terstruktur dan aman. Materi pembelajaran disusun secara bertahap, mulai dari pengenalan dasar hingga konsep lanjutan pemrograman Python. Aplikasi ini terintegrasi dengan kode editor Python yang memungkinkan pengguna menulis, menjalankan, dan menguji kode secara langsung pada platform yang sama, sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih aplikatif. Selain itu, integrasi media visual dan audio turut mendukung keterlibatan pengguna dalam proses belajar. Hasil pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini berpotensi menjadi media pembelajaran yang efektif dan efisien bagi masyarakat umum dalam mempelajari pemrograman Python secara mandiri.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Interaktif; Pemrograman Python; Aplikasi berbasis web; Framework Django; Abstract − This interactive Python programming learning application was developed to support self-directed learning for beginner-level users through flexible and easily accessible digital media. The application is designed as a web-based learning platform that presents material systematically and interactively to enhance users’ conceptual understanding and programming skills. The development of the application utilizes the Django framework, which supports a structured and secure web application architecture. The learning materials are organized progressively, starting from basic introductions to advanced Python programming concepts. The application is integrated with a Python code editor that allows users to write, run, and test code directly within the same platform, making the learning process more practical. In addition, the integration of visual and audio media further supports user engagement in the learning process. The development results indicate that this application has the potential to become an effective and efficient learning medium for the general public to study Python programming independently.Keywords: Interactive Learning; Python Programming; Web-based Application; Django Framework;

Abstract

Digital transformation in education management is a strategic response to the demands of the industrial revolution 4.0 and society 5.0, which require education systems to be more adaptive, efficient, and information technology-based. Digitalization not only transforms administrative processes but also revolutionizes educational governance structurally and culturally through the integration of systems such as LMS, SIAKAD, and analytical dashboards. In the context of hybrid learning, digital-based education management is key to managing both synchronous and asynchronous learning processes. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method to analyze the challenges and opportunities of digitalizing education management. The analysis shows that although digitalization opens up space for pedagogical innovation and effective data-driven decision-making, various challenges remain, such as infrastructure gaps, low digital literacy, and organizational cultural resistance. However, a flexible, contextual, and participatory managerial approach can overcome these obstacles and encourage the creation of an inclusive and sustainable education ecosystem. Therefore, digitalization in education management must be seen as a systemic process that requires synergy between national policies, human resource readiness, and institutional paradigm shifts to shape resilient, equitable, and quality-oriented 21st-century education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji strategi efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas hafalan Al-Qur'an di pondok pesantren, yang merupakan salah satu institusi pendidikan Islam yang memiliki peran penting dalam menjaga dan melestarikan tradisi tahfizh Al-Qur'an. Meskipun demikian, proses menghafal Al-Qur'an di lingkungan pesantren sering menghadapi berbagai tantangan, baik yang berasal dari faktor internal santri seperti motivasi, kedisiplinan, dan konsistensi belajar, maupun faktor eksternal seperti metode pembelajaran dan lingkungan belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang mendalam mengenai strategi peningkatan hafalan yang diterapkan di pesantren. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipan, wawancara mendalam, serta analisis dokumen guna menggali pengalaman, persepsi, dan praktik yang dilakukan oleh santri, pengajar, serta pengurus pesantren. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa niat yang tulus (ikhlas) dan tekad yang kuat menjadi fondasi utama dalam menjaga konsistensi proses hafalan. Strategi ini diperkuat melalui pemilihan pasangan muroja'ah yang suportif, penerapan target setoran hafalan secara konsisten, serta praktik saling menyimak dan mengoreksi antar santri. Namun demikian, penelitian ini juga menemukan adanya tantangan dalam menjaga kedisiplinan dan keseriusan pelaksanaan program muroja'ah, yang menunjukkan perlunya peningkatan kesadaran dan komitmen santri. Selain itu, pengawasan dan bimbingan dari pengampu halaqoh memiliki peran penting dalam memastikan proses hafalan berjalan secara efektif melalui evaluasi, arahan, serta pendampingan yang berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu, sinergi antara santri, pasangan muroja'ah, dan pengampu halaqoh menjadi faktor kunci dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif sehingga kualitas hafalan Al-Qur'an dapat meningkat secara optimal dan berkelanjutan

Abstract

This study aims to establish a conceptual framework for incorporating Islamic psychotherapy into Islamic religious education as a preventive and non-clinical method for enhancing students' emotional and behavioral well-being. The study addresses the rising incidence of emotional and behavioral issues among children and adolescents amid swift modernization. Despite the traditional emphasis on moral and spiritual growth in Islamic education, there remains an absence of a comprehensive framework that incorporates psychological methodologies alongside Islamic pedagogical principles to tackle modern mental health issues. This study utilizes a conceptual-analytical framework grounded in review, content analysis, and comparative-conceptual analysis. The research integrates classical Islamic psychological principles, current Islamic psychotherapy literature, and contemporary cognitive-behavioral theory through the utilization of authoritative Islamic texts, peer-reviewed psychological research, and secondary empirical data concerning student mental health. The results delineate three categories of psychotherapy integration into Islamic religious education: traditional, modified, and integrative approaches. The integrative model, defined by a cognitively focused and spiritually grounded framework influenced by Abu Zayd al-Balkhi's work, stands out as the most comprehensive model for educational environments. This methodology integrates cognitive restructuring, emotional regulation, and moral habituation within Islamic spiritual beliefs, while upholding distinct ethical boundaries between educators and clinical therapists. The study suggests that Islamic psychotherapy can be pedagogically adapted to enhance students' psychological and spiritual growth without converting educational institutions into clinical environments. The proposed framework contributes to Islamic psychology and religious education by offering a culturally grounded and ethically appropriate approach to promoting student well-being.
