Abstract

Reducing CO₂ emissions in the steel industry, which contributes 7% of global emissions, is crucial. Ammonia, as a hydrogen-based reducing agent offers one promising solution to address the decarbonization challenge in primary ironmaking process due to its high hydrogen storage density and ease of transport. However, for subsequent steelmaking process, the lack of carbon in the reduced ore from the ammonia-hydrogen iron reduction system must be addressed. In this study, we reduced iron ore using an ammonia-methane mixed reducing gas to introduce carbon into the reduced ore, from the raw material of porous ore prepared from a high combined water, goethite ore. We varied the reduction conditions to investigate how the reaction and carbon content would change, aiming to optimize the reduction process and enhance carbon content in the reduced iron.  The results show that ammonia is primarily consumed for iron reduction, facilitated by hydrogen from its decomposition, while methane decomposes into carbon and hydrogen. Methane decomposition begins around 800°C, significantly increasing the ore's carbon content. Higher temperatures accelerate both reduction and carbon incorporation. The ammonia-methane mixing ratio influences reduction efficiency and carbon content, with a higher ammonia ratio expediting these processes. At 850°C, a 1:1 ammonia-methane mixture yields higher carbon content than higher ammonia ratios. This study highlights the potential of ammonia-methane mixed gases for sustainable steel production by enhancing the reduction and carbonization of high-CW-content iron ores.

Abstract

Schistosomiasis merupakan penyakit endemik di Sulawesi Tengah dan masih merupakan masalah kesehatan. Keberadaan hewan reservoir seperti tikus, menjadi salah satu kendala dalam mengendaliakan schsitososmiasis yang dilakukan sejak tahun 1974. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi jenis tikus yang ada di sekitar fokus keong Oncomelania hupensis lindoensis di Kecamatan Lore Barat, Kabupaten Poso. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional dengan desain pontong lintang. Penangkapan tikus dilakukan dengan menggunakan 100 perangkap per desa yang disebar di seluruh fokus keong perantara schistosomiasis. Perangkap yang digunakan adalah perangkap mati (snap trap) yang dipasang pada sore hari mulai pukul 16.00 dan diambil keesokan harinya antara pukul 06.00 – 09.00 yang dilakukan selama tiga hari berturut-turut. Hasil penelitian menemukan sebanyak 84 ekor tikus yang teridiri atas 10 spesies yang terdistribusi dalam lima genus. Spesies yang paling banyak ditemukan adalah Rattus tanezumi (32 ekor), Bunomys fratorum (22 ekor), dan yang paling sedikit Mus musculus (1 ekor). Indeks keragaman Shannon-Wiener menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keragaman tikus di Kecamatan Lore Barat tergolong sedang (1,6).

Abstract

This research aims to find out the learning using the Canva application in the subject of Information and Communication Technology in grade VIII MTsN 3 Kuningan. This study is experimental research, with a classical experimental design Classical Experimental Design. The subjects of the study were 30 students in grade VIII of MTsN 3 Kuningan. Research data was taken by questionnaire and observation sheet. The validity and reliability of the questionnaire were tested using Corrected Item-Total Correlation. The normality test was used the Shapiro Wilk test because the samples studied were less than 50. The results showed that there was an influence of the canva application on the learning outcomes of grade VIII students of MTsN 3 Kuningan in the subject of Information and Communication Technology, as evidenced by the significance value of 0.032 for the learning outcome variable

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of revitalizing the leadership of madrasah principals in improving the quality of education units in Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) in the West Aceh Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach to revealing the factual conditions of the revitalization of madrasah leadership in improving the quality of education. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and document studies on reports of madrasa activities. Data analysis techniques for research results are carried out by interpreting and designing action plans on research results. The results show that the head of MTs West Aceh has not optimally improved the quality of functions in revitalizing the synergy and harmony among teachers and employees in improving the quality of education units, revitalizing processes, tools, and learning media in improving the quality of education units and revitalizing the participation of the community and government in improving quality. Education units in madrasas. The implication of the less than the optimal revitalization of madrasah leadership has resulted in a decline in the quality of the learning process and the quality of educational outcomes in madrasas.

Abstract

Changes in the criteria for Human Rights Care based on Permenkumham number 22 of 2021 have caused many districts/cities to not get the status of Regency/City Caring for Human Rights, the number of regions that care about human rights decreased from 2020 and 2022. This evaluation aims to provide an overview of the implementation of Permenkum HAM Number 22 of 2021 in Jambi Province and what are the obstacles faced in its implementation as well as the relevance, sustainability and effectiveness of MMAF HAM programs/activities, in Jambi Province. Evaluation using an evaluative research approach using the Goal-freeevaluation model, descriptive analysis, evaluation carried out in Jambi Province with samples of Legal Bureaus and Legal Sections of Province/District/City Setda. From the results of the analysis, it is known that the process/mechanism for implementing the fulfillment of the Human Rights KKP Criteria in Jambi Province has run well, and is in accordance with the scheme that has been stipulated in the guidelines for the implementation of the Human Rights MMAF. However, there are several obstacles in its implementation such as a long and costly reporting mechanism; supporting data that is difficult to meet; the officer's lack of understanding of the form and supporting data; still not optimal socialization and technical guidance; and MMAF HAM activities have not become regional priority activities, which have an impact on budget availability in their implementation, from the results of the analysis also obtained several notes on the relevance, sustainability and effectiveness of MMAF HAM programs / activities in Jambi Province in the future, namely on the fulfillment of data supporting the right to legal aid and the right to diversity and pluralism these two aspects are partly difficult to fulfill in Jambi Province because they are hit by the availability of regulations. Abstract

Penelitianini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Penerapan konsep aljabar matematika dalam menyelesaikan masalah faraidh ditinjau dengan teori Polya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan melibatkan 6 siswa XI yang dipilih berdasarkan saran dari guru dan sesuai kategori yaitu : (1) siswa pada kategori tinggi, (2) siswa dengan kategori sedang, dan (3) siswa dengan kategori rendah. Hasil penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa siswa pada kategori tinggi mampu menyelesaikan soal dengan benar. Siswa dalam kategori sedang mampu menyelesaikan soal dengan benar tetapi siswa kesulitan menyelesaikan soal dengan kata-kata rumit atau bahasa yang tidak biasa ditemui siswa. Siswa pada kategori rendah hanya mampu menyelesaikan soal tetapi tidak dengan langkah-langkah yang benar

Abstract

This study aims to identify improving students' math reasoning abilities through learning problem posing in problem solving at students of Mathematics Education Department of FPMIPA IKIP Mataram. The lack of basic knowledge and reasoning ability of mathematics teacher candidate in solving school math problem become the main factor of this research. Therefore, one of the learning methods that can be applied to solve the problem is through problem posing method. This research is Quasi Eksperimen research with Time Series design. The subject of this research consists of 35 mathematics teacher candidates consisting of 18 science students and 17 non-IPA students. The research instrument used consisted of questionnaire, written test (pretest and postest), observation and interview. The validity of the written test description is done through field trials and two validators. Field test results will be used to determine the differentiation, difficulty, validity, and reliability of the test. The data of the writing test were analyzed by using t-test. The result of this research shows improvement of students' reasoning ability in solving problems involving geometry material after applied problem posing (problem solving) method. This increase in reasoning is derived from the problem-solving process of student teacher problem in a structured way.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was determining the effect of Project Based Learning model( PjBL) with the task of Creative Mind Map toward student mathematics connecting ability and learning outcomes at VIIth grade students of  MTs Negeri Anaraja on subject matter Triangle. The kind of this research is experimental research. The desain of this research is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this research was the VIIth grade students of MTs Negeri Anaraja in academic year 2015/2016. The Sampling technique was the Non-probability Sampling technique that is the Purposive Sampling. So the sample chosen is class VII-2 as the control sample class with discovery learning model and class VII-3 as the experiment sample with PjBL model with the task of creative mind map. The data of student mathematical connection ability were taken by Observation Mathematical Connections Ability Sheet, and students learning outcomes data were analyzed using t-test. Based on the data analysis, it was known that the average percentage of students' mathematical connection ability experimental class was 37% with an average value of 23.785 and the control class was 33.33% with an average value of 23.38421, this suggests was showed that the mathematics connecttion ability of students still low. While the results of t-test analysis showed that there was no significant difference between experimental class learning outcomes with control class learning outcomes. It can be seen from the price  of ttest was smaller than the ttable , with dk = 37 at the level of error was 5%. So it can be concluded that there is no effect of the PjBL model with the task of Creative Mind Map toward student mathematics connection ability and student learning outcomes at  the VIIth grade students of MTs Negeri Anaraja in academic year 2015/2016.

Abstract

Problems encountered in mathematics at  SMP  State 3 Batukliang is low motivation and problem solving skills in mathematics. Therefore this study is to describe the application of problem solving learning method that can increase motivation and problem solving skills mathematical subject matter circle in class VIII B of SMP  State 3 Batukliang in the academic year  2015/2016. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The instrument used in this study is the observation sheet activities of teachers, students' learning motivation questionnaire and evaluation test. Based on the analysis of data obtained by the results of analysis activities of teachers in the first cycle Quite good and well, while on the second cycle well. Analysis of motivation in the first cycle Says gori high motivation and the second cycle Uncategorised very high motivation, problem-solving ability evaluation test on the first cycle with an average value of 66.5 and yet get the average value that has been set is ≥ 70 and the results of tests evaluating the ability of problem solving cycle II, the average value reached 77.85.So the results obtained from each cycle increasing. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of learning methods Problem Solving can increase motivation and problem solving skills math class VIII B subject matter circle in the academic year 2016/2017.p

Abstract

Based on the results of the initial observation, problem issues that can be secn in the learning process that students’ of less passion, attention is less focused and less concentration to absorb the lessons. The aimed of this research is to describe the implementation of picture and picture learning model that able to improve studens activity and learning outcomes at VII Grade studen of SMPN 5 Kopang Tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. The type of this research is class room action research. the data colection are quantitative and qualitatiy data. Based on  the result of data analysis obtained studen learning outcomens scor is 58,26 at firs cycle and 86,30 at secon cycle. So that it can be con cluded that the implementation of Picture and Picture learning methods able to improve studens activity and learning outcomes at VII Grade studen of SMPN 5 Kopang Tahun pelajaran 2017/2018
