Abstract

Background: Periodontal disease is one of oral and dental health problems that suffered by many people in the world and occurs in 50% of adult population. Porphyromonas gingivalis and Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans are the main bacteria that cause periodontitis. One of the plants that is often used as an alternative antimicrobial agent is citronella (Cymbopogon nardus L.) which contains citronellal and geraniol compounds. This study aims to determine whether the essential oils of lemongrass leaves have inhibitory effect on the growth of Porphyromonas gingivalis and Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans in vitro. Method: The production of lemongrass essential oils is carried out by the distillation method and 25%, 50%, and 75% concentration of essential oils are diluted using Tween 20 and distilled water. The inhibition test was carried out by the Kirby-Bauer disk diffusion method on Mueller Hinton Agar media. Result: The analysis showed that there was a significant difference between the inhibitory power produced by each concentration of essential oil of citronella leaf on the growth of Porphyromonas gingivalis and Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is the essential oils of lemon grass with concentrations of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% have different inhibitory properties in inhibiting the growth of Porphyromonas gingivalis bacteria and Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the engineering of reviews conducted by online stores on the Shopee platform, as well as to review their validity and implications based on the Sharia Economic Law and the Indonesian Positive Law. The research conducted uses a qualitative type. In accordance with the issues raised, using field research. The data sources in this study, namely primary data sources, were obtained through interviews with business actors who use the shopee marketplace platform. Secondary data sources are obtained from books and research reports related to the Salam sale and purchase agreement. Based on the analysis of Islamic economic law, it is not appropriate because the shop does a fake review first to attract customers, this method is not in accordance with Islamic law because it contains elements of gharar, shop owners should be able to use promotional methods for their business in accordance with buying and selling in general. Meanwhile, from the perspective of Indonesian positive law, fictitious orders are a form of criminal fraud that harms others and is regulated in the ITE law with a penalty of up to 12 years in prison or a fine of Rp12 billion. This research makes a scholarly contribution by examining the practice of valuation engineering in the market from the perspective of Shariah economic law, thus enriching the literature on business ethics and consumer protection in Shariah-based online buying and selling transactions.

Abstract

Gerakan Masyarakat Hidup Sehat (GERMAS) merupakan suatu tindakan sistematis dan terencana yang dilakukan secara bersama-sama oleh seluruh komponen bangsa dengan kesadaran, kemauan dan kemampuan berperilaku sehat untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup. Tujuan kegiatan adalah untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup Masyarakat di Kelurahan Tugu Kecil RT 003 004 RW 002. Kegiatan edukasi bertema Gerakan Masyarakat Hidup Sehat dilaksanakan pada responden yang hadir pada saat penyuluhan. Kegiatan ini akan dilaksanakan di GOR Harmonis Kelurahan Tugu Kecil. Pengabdi akan menyampaikan materi dengan menggunakan leafleat yang telah dirancang sebelumnya sebagai alat promosi kesehatan. Edukasi yang diberikan diharapkan tersampaikan dengan baik sehingga terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan kualitas hidup responden terkait gerakan Masyarakat hidup sehat dengan melihat perbandingan hasil pre-test dan post-test. Kegiatan edukasi ini perlu terus dilaksanakan sebagai salah satu upaya dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat terutama kelompok rentan yaitu balita, anak-anak, ibu hamil, ibu menyusui dan lansia.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the influence of Kampus Mengajar program on preparation efforts to become professional teachers for students of FKIP Unidayan. This is a quantitative research by applying the Ex-post Facto method. The research population is limited to participants of Kampus Mengajar on generation VI with a total of 33 students. In this research, the sample from participants of Kampus Mengajar on generation VI Faculty of Teacher Training and Education with a total of 27 students. The instrument used was a questionnaire about Kampus Mengajar programs and the preparation efforts to become professional teachers. This data was analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The results of this research can be concluded that, there is an influence of the Kampus Mengajar program on the preparation efforts to become professional teachers for students of FKIP Unidayan.

Abstract

In the midst of increasing discussions on environmental issues, more sustainable actions are becoming a matter of deep consideration. Sustainability has become a primary focus to be realized across various aspects of society, including in business. Environmental preservation issues challenge all companies to integrate these concerns into their business activities and corporate strategies. It is crucial for companies to develop eco-friendly products or services in hopes of reducing the impact of industrial activities on the environment. This study aims to examine the influence of green awareness, eco-label, and eco-brand as variables of green marketing on consumer purchasing behavior, using quantitative descriptive analysis on a sample of 165 randomly selected respondents. The data collected and processed are primary data. The study variables consist of a dependent variable, namely consumer purchasing behavior, and independent variables including green awareness, eco-label, and eco-brand. Data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software, version 24. The analytical method used in this study is multiple linear regression. The analysis results indicate that green awareness, eco-label, and eco-brand significantly affect consumer purchasing behavior

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of product quality on repurchase intention, mediated by customer satisfaction with Pixy compact powder in the city of Bandung. The research instruments used have undergone thorough testing for validity and reliability. These instruments were employed in collecting data from respondents who have used Pixy compact powder at least once in the past year. The research sample comprises 120 respondents. The data analysis methods applied include quantitative descriptive analysis, simple regression, multiple regression, utilizing SPSS version 26, and employing the Sobel test. All four proposed hypotheses are supported by empirical research data. The findings indicate that customer satisfaction plays a mediating role in the relationship between product quality and repurchase intention. The implications of this research are expected to contribute to future studies and provide valuable insights for Pixy company's strategies in enhancing its quality attributes.

Abstract

An upsurge in the rate of teacher absences at Miftahul Huda Islamic Vocational School occurred during the academic year 2022-2023, necessitating an evaluation and enhancement of the school's infrastructure. Enhancing teacher job satisfaction yields numerous advantages for both teachers and students, particularly in the context of teaching and learning activities. The objective of this study is to examine endeavours to enhance teacher job happiness by concentrating on several elements of the work environment, encompassing both tangible and intangible factors. This research is characterised as quantitative and involved a total of 34 respondents. The sampling technique used was saturation sampling. The data gathering process involves the utilisation of library research and field research methodologies, along with data analysis methods such as descriptive and associative approaches. Data analysis involves the interpretation of the output table generated by the SPSS version 26 programme. This table is derived from previously processed data. The findings of this study indicate that both the tangible and intangible aspects of the work environment have a simultaneous impact on job satisfaction at Miftahul Huda Islamic Vocational School.

Abstract

The decrease in absenteeism for civil servant teachers at state middle school. Reducing the level of teacher absenteeism can provide benefits especially for all students in pursuing education. The aim of this research in to investigate eforts to increase teacher job satisfaction ehich focuses on aspects of physical work environvement and work motivation. This research employs quantitative research methods involving 32 participants selected through a sampling technique known as saturation sampling, the data collection techniques used are literature study and field research.   Data analysis was carried out by interoreting the calculation result table using SPSS version 26 from previously processed data. The result of this research show that simultaneously the physical work environment and work motivation have an influence on the job satisfaction of civil servant teachers at XYZ State Middle School in the city of Karawang.

Abstract

The industrial era 4.0 encourages textile and apparel companies to increase efficiency. CV. Berdikari Textile experienced high levels of absenteeism in its knitting department, reflecting low job satisfaction. Building discipline and work motivation is a concern, especially with rules that are often violated, such as prohibitions on smoking and the use of cell phones. Data on employee absenteeism and tardiness indicates problems that need to be addressed. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of developing discipline and work motivation on the level of job satisfaction of CV Knitting Department employees. Autonomous Fabric. This research uses a quantitative research approach. The common form of data collection is by distributing questionnaires and conducting direct interviews in the field. The data analysis approach uses several tests, including validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression tests, and hypothesis tests. Testing was carried out by analyzing the output table produced by the Statistical Package for Social (SPSS) software program, namely version 26. The results of the research showed that disciplinary development partially influenced job satisfaction and work motivation partially influenced job satisfaction. Furthermore, fostering discipline and work motivation simultaneously influence the job satisfaction of CV Knitting Department employees. Berdikari Textile. This shows that the more the company provides good work discipline guidance and the higher the work motivation, the more it can strengthen the job satisfaction of employees in the Knitting Section at CV. Abstract

This study tries to investigate the influence between product quality and price on the desire to repurchase Wardah blush products in Cimahi city. This study applied a questionnaire in its research technique and involved 90 people who had used Wardah blush products in Cimahi. Purposive sampling is a nonprobability sampling approach. Validity and reliability tests, as well as traditional assumption tests and multiple regression, were used in the analysis. Each of the three research hypotheses proposed was supported by empirical evidence. As an outcome of increasing quality of the assessed object's quality and assisting the assessed parties in their business growth, this study is meant to be useful to future comparable studies and the assessed parties.
