Abstract

The use of online learning applications is constrained by the abilities of teachers and the lack of facilities and infrastructure that affect student learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the use of applications during the online learning process and the obstacles encountered during that process. The approach used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were the teachers of grades 4, 5, and 6. Observations, interviews, and documentation are the data collection techniques used in this study. The data obtained were then analyzed qualitatively by means of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that, first, the online learning process uses the WhatsApp application for communication, attendance, and opening. YouTube application to explain material if learning is carried out non-face-to-face (asynchronous). Google Meet and Zoom applications for virtual (synchronously) face-to-face learning. The Google Classroom, Google Form, and Quiz applications are used for assessment when evaluating learning. Second, the obstacles to using the application are low learning concentration, low learning outcomes, low self-confidence, and a lack of facilities for using online applications. The results of this study are useful for overcoming problems regarding the use of online learning applications.

Abstract

Perlu adanya upaya implementasi kebijakan Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) padaperguruan tinggi. Tetapi beberapa perguruan tinggi yang tergolong muda masih memiliki keterbatasansumber daya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, perlu adanya kerjasama dengan pihak ketiga. Metodepenelitian pengabdian ini meliputi analisis situasi, pelaksanaan kegiatan mulai dari persiapan sampaitahap kerjasama dan metode pelaksanaannya. Hasil yang dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalahterjadinya MoU kerjasama dengan pihak ketiga dalam rangka menyukseskan implementasi kebijakanMBKM di Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo. Hasil lainnya adalah terlaksana workshop danpertukaran pelajar sebagai implementasi kebijakan Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM).

Abstract

Implementation of character education will create superior human resources in all aspects of personality. This study aims to explore the essential core of character education in elementary schools and explore the similarities and differences in character education applied in elementary schools in Malaysia and Indonesia. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with the comparative method, and the type of research used was library research. Data collection techniques included researching and identifying data through various documents from scientific publications in journals, national and international articles, and applicable laws and regulations. The results of a literature review on character education in elementary schools in Malaysia and Indonesia show similarities and differences in the concepts, programs, and implementation of character education in the two countries.A comparison of character education in Indonesia and Malaysia can be a valuable basis for improving these two countries' character education systems and drawing lessons that can be applied in other countries.

Abstract

Education constitutes a fundamental right for all individuals, irrespective of gender. Despite this, gender-based educational disparities persist globally. This study conducts a comparative analysis of inclusive education programs for women in Indonesia and Malaysia, aiming to elucidate gender challenges in educational access and participation. Employing a qualitative methodology and comparative analysis, this research scrutinizes inclusive policies and initiatives within these nations, delineating their distinctions and commonalities. Data were collected through document reviews, observations, and interviews and subsequently subjected to comparative descriptive analysis. The findings reveal both countries' dedication to enhancing female educational participation. Nonetheless, obstacles such as restricted rural educational access, prevalent gender stereotypes in certain academic disciplines, discrepancies in STEM proficiency, and economic constraints continue to impede progress. To surmount these gender challenges in education, it is imperative to eradicate gender stereotypes, fortify gender-specific policies, broaden educational access, and provide tailored support for women with unique needs. Through collaborative efforts across multiple stakeholders, this study advocates for the establishment of an inclusive, equitable, and gender-fair educational milieu.

Abstract

Abad 21 merupakan abad yang dikenal dengan perkembangan dan teknologi. Guru perlu memiliki keterampilan 4C yaitu critical thinking, communication, collaboration, dan creativity untuk menghadapinya dan sebagai pengembangan profesionalisme dalam peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu, guru harus memiliki kompetensi dalam penelitian sebagai wujud dari berpikir kritis dan publikasi artikel ilmiah sebagai luaran dari penelitian. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui tingkat kompetensi guru dalam bidang penelitian dan publikasi serta menemukan solusi terhadap masalah yang terkait dengan kompetensi guru tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru-guru Sekolah Dasar Kecamatan Nogosari, Kab. Boyolali. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah statistika descriptive. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi guru dalam penelitian dan publikasi hanya 26.98 %. Solusi terhadap rendahnya kompetensi guru dalam penelitian dan publikasi artikel ilmiah adalah melaksanakan pelatihan penyusunan dan penilaian portofolio khususnya penelitian dan publikasi ilmiah.Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai literature penelitian sejenis di masa mendatang

Abstract

Manajemen Peserta didik sangat penting untuk berlangsungnya proses belajar di sekolah. Kegiatan penting  dalam memanajemen peserta didik pertama kali masuk yaitu dengan penerimaan peserta didik baru. Penelitian ini memaparkan penerimaan peserta didik baru di sekolah negeri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen peserta didik dalam penerimaan peserta didik baru di sekolah negeri dengan analisis SWOT. Berdasarkan analisis SWOT manajemen peserta didik saat penerimaan  peserta didik baru di sekolah negeri dicari solusi yang tepat untuk meminimalisirkan kekurangan pada sekolah negeri. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi Penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa masih perlunya strategi dan peningkatan mutu sekolah negeri agar dapat meningkatkan minat masyarakat.

Abstract

Kebijakan sekolah cenderung tidak ada nilai gender dan tidak ada penegasan kebijaksana yang diterapkan pada perluasan akses perempuan terhadap pendidikan berkelanjutan ke tingkat yang lebih tinggi. Upaya yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat, sekolah, atau pemerintah untuk memperluas akses perempuan terhadap pendidikan dasar dan menengah tetap sedikit demi sedikit. Untuk itu perlu sinergi dalam mengembangkan kebijakan strategis, di mana peran pemerintah daerah sebagai inisiator kebijakan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki fenomena ini di dalam rangka siswa sekolah untuk mengidentifikasi tentang usia, jenis kelamin, dan jenis sekolah yang mereka hadiri. Penelitian ini membahas ketidaksetaraan gender dalam pendidikan di Kabupaten Jambi, dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif eksplanatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada ketidaksetaraan gender dalam pendidikan perempuan dipengaruhi oleh akses, partisipasi, kontrol, manfaat, dan nilai di masyarakat. Nilai yang ada di kabupaten Jambi membentuk stereotip negatif yang menyebabkan wanita marginalisasi, subordinasi dan bekerja over load.

Abstract

Malaysia and Indonesia have introduced their educational systems and are developing human resources using learning evaluation systems. Based on the issues raised, this study aims to portray the learning assessment in primary schools in Indonesia and Malaysia in accordance with the educational program utilized in both countries and the impediments experienced in carrying out classroom-based evaluation in schools. This studyused the research literature survey technique to gather information on a research topic fromnews, official government documents, etc. The analysis was conducted using a compilation of data from several references related to the assessment of primary school learning in Merdeka curricula, or other documents relevant to this study. The results of this study revelead that the assessment used in primaryschools in Indonesia refers to Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 21 of 2022, namely formative assessment and summative assessment. The Merdeka curriculum aimsat create a positive, high-quality learning atmosphere in Indonesia. Education system in Malaysia implements the concept of school-based assessment (SBA) in line with the implementation of Lower School Standard Curriculum, known as Primary School Curriculum. The ability to develop classroom-based assessments, the creativity of teachers in designing assessments, and knowledge literacy issues are all barriers to implementing classroom-based assessments in both countries.

Abstract

Abstract: Policies regarding key performance indicators have encouraged them to be able to implement problem-based and collaborative learning. Therefore, there is need for innovation in learning with learning methods empower students is cases method. The purpose of this research is to find out the management of learning in case studies of college level students who use expost facto. This study obtained data through observation, tests and questionnaires. The sample in this study was 132 students of the Elementary School Teacher Education study program. The results of the planning stage of the questionnaire with a percentage of 75.48% in the good category, the implementation stage by obtaining a percentage of 92.30% in the very good category, and the evaluation stage by obtaining a percentage of 87.90% in the very good category. The results of case study-based learning that are applied in class management courses, which are acceptable to students, are considered helpful and effectively applied in learning. Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the sacredness of the Srimpi Merak Kesimpir dance and how to preserve it using qualitative descriptive methods. The Peacock Kesimpir Dance by Hamengkubuwana VII is a dance that was sacred at the beginning of creation. A king's work is a talisman or heirloom that is always looked after and maintained for the preservation of the sacred dance work.The research method used is qualitative descriptive using interviews, photo documents, reference books, videos, online magazines, e-books and other very in-depth data for cultural experts.The results of the research found that commodification in the peacock kesimpir dance, which was previously only performed in the palace environment, is now being performed outside the palace to function as a cultural performance. Clothes, floor patterns and even jewelry are all made better and more attractive. In terms of sacredness, it is certainly reduced, but in terms of preservation, it is one solution to be sustainable. Every work of art will experience development, even if it is a work from hamengkubuwana to VII. The king's masterpieces are inseparable from being in line with the times.
