Abstract

This research aims to systematically examine the strategic role of family businesses in entrepreneurship education for students with special needs in Indonesia. Entrepreneurship education has become an important approach to increase economic independence, especially for individuals with special needs who face challenges in accessing formal employment. Family business as a family-based economic unit has great potential as a contextualized, flexible and supportive means of entrepreneurship learning. This Systematic Literature Review (SLR) analyzes 25 relevant national and international journal articles, published between 2019-2025, with a focus on the integration of family business in entrepreneurship education for people with disabilities. The results show that family businesses can provide an inclusive learning environment, build practical skills, and strengthen family involvement in the education process. However, challenges still arise in the form of limited resources, access to training and supporting policies. This study recommends the need for collaboration between schools, families and government in designing a family business-based entrepreneurship curriculum that is adaptive to the needs of students with special needs. The findings make an important contribution to the development of a more inclusive and sustainable entrepreneurship education model in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to identify, analyze, and synthesize relevant literature on entrepreneurship in the digital era through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Digitalization has significantly changed the entrepreneurial paradigm, driving the emergence of new business models, expanding market access, and requiring entrepreneurs to have adequate technological, cognitive, and social skills. This review analyzed 11 selected scholarly articles from reputable databases such as Scopus, Emerald, Sciencedirect, and SpringerLink, published between 2020 and 2025. The review shows that digital entrepreneurship is strongly influenced by technology adoption, organizational readiness, and individual factors such as digital efficacy. The research also uncovered gaps in the literature, such as the lack of studies in developing country contexts, the role of human factors in SMEs' digital transformation, as well as the need for integration of psychosocial factors. This study offers a new conceptual framework and model to support the development of sustainable and adaptive digital entrepreneurship

Abstract

Employee performance is a critical component of organizational success, influenced by various internal and external factors. This study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to explore recent findings on how workload and work environment influence the intention to stay among health sector employees in developing countries, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. Using the PRISMA framework, 1,524 articles published between 2020 and 2025 were identified from Emerald, ScienceDirect, and PubMed, focusing on keywords such as workload, work environment, job satisfaction, and intention to stay. After applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, 23 articles were selected for in-depth analysis. The review reveals that workload significantly influences job satisfaction, particularly in relation to task distribution by management. A supportive work environment also enhances job satisfaction through psychosocial support mechanisms, which can impact patient outcomes. Furthermore, job satisfaction positively affects the intention to stay, emphasizing the role of organizational commitment. Both workload and work environment directly influence retention, where excessive workload and negative workplace conditions reduce employee persistence. Job satisfaction is found to mediate these relationships, highlighting the importance of aligning workload, workplace conditions, and fair compensation. This study provides valuable insights for healthcare institutions, particularly hospitals, to improve employee retention and service quality through better work design and supportive environments.
