Abstract

Library digitization is key to enhancing accessibility and the utilization of information in order to improve educational literacy in the digital era. South Sulawesi, as part of Indonesia’s rapidly developing region, needs to strengthen its information infrastructure, such as digital libraries, to address users' behavior towards technological advancements. The objective of this research is to analyze the implementation of the library digitization system in South Sulawesi by evaluating implementation strategies, identifying success factors and challenges, and understanding its impact on library services and public access to information. This research employs a mixed methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative data analysis in parallel. Quantitatively, surveys (both offline and online) were conducted to collect data on implementation strategies, success factors, and barriers to library digitization. Qualitatively, in-depth interviews and document analysis were used to explore the impact of library digitization on services and public access to information. The results show that the level of library digitization implementation in South Sulawesi remains low. Existing digitization strategies vary but are generally hindered by limited infrastructure and human resources. Success factors include government support and collaboration with other institutions, while the main challenges involve insufficient funding, resistance to change, and low digital literacy among the population. The positive impacts of digitization include improved access to information and better quality library services, although there are still challenges in maintaining the systems. Key recommendations include improving infrastructure, staff training, and increasing public digital literacy.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the effectiveness of role playing methods in developing language skills in early childhood. Starting from the understanding that early childhood is a critical period for language development, this research examines various literature that discusses the application and results of role playing as an educational method. The methodology used includes systematic analysis of data that has been published in educational, psychology and linguistics journals. The research results show that role playing not only improves children's vocabulary, but also syntactic and pragmatic abilities. Children who engage in role-playing activities show significant improvements in the ability to understand and use language effectively and contextually. In addition, this method also supports the development of broader social and cognitive skills, which simultaneously strengthens language acquisition. This research concludes that role playing is a very useful tool in early childhood education, given the broad benefits it offers in the development of language and social competence. The implication for the early childhood education curriculum is that it is recommended to pay more attention to and integrate this method widely in the daily learning process.

Abstract

 Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji campur kode dalam ceramah ustadz Handy Bonny. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan campur kode ceramah Ustadz Handy Bonny, baik jenis maupun wujud campur kode yang terdapat dalam ceramah Ustadz Handy Bonny menggunakan kajian sosiolinguistik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini diambil dari beberapa video dakwah Ustadz Handy Bonny yang diunggah dalam acun media sosial Instagram dengan nama acun #kajianustadzhandybonny. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik rekam, teknik transkripsi data, dan teknik catat. Sedangkan teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data menurut Miles dan Huberman, yaitu teknik reduksi data, teknik penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) jenis campur kode ceramah ustadz Handy Bonny terdiri dari tiga jenis, yaitu campur kode ke dalam 8 data, campur kode ke luar 8 data, dan campur kode campuran 3 data. (2) wujud campur kode ceramah ustadz Handy Bonny terdiri dari lima wujud, yaitu campur kode berwujud kata 16 data, wujud campur kode berwujud frasa 4 data, wujud campur kode berwujud imbuhan 6 data, campur kode berwujud kata ulang 1 data, dan wujud campur kode berwujud klausa 6 data.

Abstract

This study is to explore the implementation of method of the Talqin, Tafahhum, Tikrar, and Muraja'ah (or 3T+method) for grade V students at MI Mathla'ul Anwar which aims to increase their motivation to memorize hadith. The 3T+1M method is one of methods that is easy, effective, and suitable to be adopted by the grade V students with approximately ages 10 to 11 years, at the middle and late childhood period. This study used a qualitative approach with the method of field research. Data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the steps of memorizing hadith with the 3T +1M method included: (1) the instructor read aloud the hadith and students listened to, (2) the instructor explained the content of the hadith, (3) the students read repeatedly until they memorized it, (4) students then repeated again the memorization with the instructor together. The contributing factors for the success of learners in memorization are psychology, emotions, and intelligence. Artikel ini meneliti tentang implementasi metode Talqin, Tafahhum, Tikrar, dan Muraja’ah (atau 3T+1M) pada murid kelas V MI Mathla’ul Anwar yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi menghafal hadis mereka. Metode 3T+1M merupakan salah satu metode yang mudah, efektif, dan sesuai untuk diadopsi oleh murid-murid kelas V dengan rentan usianya 10-11 tahun, yang dikategorikan sebagai masa kanak-kanak pertengahan dan akhir. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualititatif dan penelitian lapangan. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa langkah-langkah menghafal hadis dengan metode 3T+1M adalah: (1) murid mendengarkan hadis yang dibaca oleh pendidik, (2) pendidik menjelaskan isi kandungan hadis yang dibaca, (3) murid membaca berulang-ulang hingga menghafalnya, (4) murid kemudian mengulang kembali hafalannya bersama pendidik. Faktor-faktor penentu keberhasilan peserta didik dalam menghafal adalah psikologi, emosi, dan intelegensi.

Abstract

Functional literacy learning includes reading, writing, counting and communicating using Indonesian language that is transformed into the application of dance culture. The purpose of the research is to know the impact of functional literacy learning and its application to the culture of molihi dilaesare dance, motosau molihi dance, dance lense mentoka and kalapea lense dance. The Research Method uses evaluation studies aimed at knowing the impact of functional literacy learning and its transformation in culture. The results stated that functional literacy learning can increase the interest in reading, writing, counting and communicating using Indonesian language transformed into dance culture in Konawe Islands Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and discusses strategies and innovations in the New Student Admissions (PPDB) System at MAN IC OKI. This type of research is field research with a qualitative approach. Data collection methods use observation, interviews, and documentation. Observation to observe the implementation process, interviews by asking questions related to policies, rules, and implementation, while documentation is to analyze various documents such as requirements and brochures. Data analysis methods use data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Research findings indicate that the strategies and innovations implemented successfully enhance the efficiency of the selection process and the quality of students admitted. Evaluation of these strategies shows a significant increase in the number of applicants and students admitted annually, as well as an improved public trust in the transparency and objectivity of the student admission system at the madrasah. Overall, MAN IC OKI has modernized the PPDB system through holistic and innovative strategies, ensuring that admitted students not only possess high academic quality but are also prepared to face challenges in the modern world. By continuing to develop these strategies, the school can further contribute to enhancing education in Indonesia through admitting highly competitive and character-driven students. The efficient and transparent admission of new students is crucial for maintaining the educational standards and reputation of institutions.

Abstract

Iron overload poses health risks due to its role in reactive oxygen species (ROS) formation. We evaluated the efficacy of ethanol extract of Phaleria macrocarpa Fruit (PM) against deferiprone-induced alterations in hematological parameters in iron-overloaded rats. Six groups were studied: control, iron-overloaded (IO), deferiprone (D), PM, and two combination groups (DPM-1 and DPM-2). Hematological parameters were assessed at baseline (week-3) and post-treatment (week-8), including total white blood cell count (WBC), lymphocytes (LYM), granulocytes (GRAN), platelet count (PLT), red blood cell count (RBC), hemoglobin (Hb), mean corpuscular volume (MCV, mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH), and mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC). Iron overload induced mild changes, with significant increases in MCV, alongside non-significant increasing trend in LYM and decreasing trends in other parameters. Deferiprone led to significant decreases in RBC and Hb, with non-significant increases in MCV and non-significant decreases in other parameters. PM group showed significant decreased in PLT, RBC, and Hb, and a significant increase in MCV and MCH, accompanied by non-significant increase in MCHC and non-significant decreasing trends in WBC, LYM, and GRAN. Combination treatment of ethanol extract of Phaleria macrocarpa fruit with deferiprone at usual dose (DPM-1) resulted in significant changes, including decreases in GRAN, RBC, Hb and MCHC and increasing MCV, accompanied by non-significant increase in MCH and non-significant decrease in other parameter. The magnitude of parameter changes appears smaller when the dose of deferiprone is reduced in the combination group (DPM-2) compared to the DPM-1 group. PM alone exhibited minimal effects on hematological parameters compared to deferiprone (except for PLT), indicating the need for further research to elucidate the specific cellular and molecular pathways influenced by these treatments to support the use of PM as adjunct therapy in patients with iron overload.

Abstract

Workshop Dasar Tari Sul-Sel Pada Duta Budaya Kota Makassar, merupakan suatu kegiatan tahunan Kota Makassar yang telah diagendakan setiap tahun. Pelatihan Dasar Tari Sul-Sel bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang Dasar-dasar tari Sul-Sel, utamanya, dasar tari etnis Makassar. Pelatihan Dasar Tari Sul-Sel tersebut diharapkan dapat memberikan hasil, bukan saja pada pengetahuan dasar tari, akan tetapi, dapat mengembangkan gerak yang dipelajari menjadi lebih kreatif lagi, serta mengetahui tentang nilai-nilai filosofi yang terkandung dalam gerak yang telah dipelajari. Pelatihan ini menggunakan metode ceramah pada teori dan metode demonstrasi pada materi praktik. Sementara langkah-langkah yang ditempuh meliputi: 1. Tahap persiapan kegiatan, meliputi, a) observasi lokasi, b) mengurus surat izin, dan c. Menentukan jadwal pelaksanaan. 2. Pelaksanaan kegiatan, meliputi; a) memberikan materi teori, Dasar gerak tangan dan langkah kaki, nama-nama ragam dasar tari etnis Makassar, dan hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan Dasar-dasar tari Sul-Sel. b) praktik Dasar Tari Sul-Sel etnis Makassar, dan c) evaluasi. Target luaran adalah peserta pelatihan dapat memperagakan gerak dasar gerak tari yang diajarkan, dan dapat mengembangkan beberapa gerak yang telah diajarkan, dengan mengikuti musik iringan tari.

Abstract

Background: Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan nilai-nilai pluralisme melalui kegiatan seni tari di Desa Baleraja, Kecamatan Gantar. Kegiatan ini berfokus pada peningkatan kreativitas anak-anak dalam seni tari sebagai sarana menanamkan nilai-nilai pluralisme, yang mencakup pengakuan dan penghargaan terhadap keberagaman etnis, agama, dan budaya. Melalui pelatihan tari, diharapkan para peserta dapat lebih memahami pentingnya keragaman budaya dan mengapresiasi perbedaan di sekitarnya. Metode: Metode yang digunakan melibatkan pelatihan praktis dengan pendekatan partisipatif, diikuti oleh evaluasi terhadap hasil tari yang dihasilkan oleh peserta. Hasil: Terjadi peningkatan kemampuan teknis peserta dalam seni tari, serta pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang pentingnya hidup berdampingan dalam keragaman. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan ini berhasil memperkuat nilai-nilai pluralisme di Desa Baleraja, yang terlihat dari partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam perayaan seni tari yang inklusif.

Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen (Quasi Experimen) dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Perbedaan nilai siswa pada kelas kontrol dan eksperimen, 2) Perbedaan nilai pre-test dan posttest siswa, dan 3) Pendekatan STEM dengan media magnetic cube dan stick berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu Simple Random Sampling. Dalam penelitian ini sampel yang dipilih adalah kelas VIII C sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol di MTs. Muhammadiyah Sibatua Pangkajene. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan terdiri dari lembar observasi aktivitas pembelajaran siswa dan tes hasil belajar siswa yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli. Data penelitian ini menggunakan uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis. Uji hipotesis penelitian menggunakan uji anava dua jalur. Hasil uji hipotesis penelitian menunjukkan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 . Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Ada perbedaan nilai siswa pada kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen, (2) Ada perbedaan nilai pre-test dan post-test siswa, (3) Ada pengaruh pendekatan STEM dengan media magnetic cube dan stick terhadap hasil belajar siswa.
