Abstract

institutions will be able to increase public interest in the educational services offered. To be able to realize this, educational institutions need a strategy so that this can be achieved. The strategies needed include positioning and differentiation related to educational services. This article aims to discuss everything related to positioning and differentiation of Islamic education services. The method used in this paper is a literature review or literature study which contains theories that are relevant to the problems that will be discussed, the study is explained regarding the concepts and theories used based on available literature, from books and articles that has been published in a scientific journal. The results of this article regarding positioning and differentiation of educational services are that these two things can be said to be two interrelated things, because positioning is a positioning for educational institutions to show their position to the wider community with a good and positive image and worthy of their services being used. , while differentiation is about the methods or strategies used by educational institutions to be able to provide a more unique difference from competitors or other educational institutions, so that this difference can attract the interest of consumers (the public) who are then interested in using the services of educational institutions.

Abstract

Colorectal cancer remains one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths after lung cancer, highlighting the urgent need for more effective therapies with minimal side effects. Begonia medicinalis has been reported to have potential anticancer properties. This study aimed to evaluate the anticancer activity of Begonia medicinalis extract by assessing neutrophil concentration in a 7,12-dimethylbenz[a]anthracene (DMBA)-induced colorectal cancer rat model. The research employed a laboratory-based experimental approach with a post-test-only group design, comprising five groups with five replications each: treatment group I receiving a 25 mg/kg body weight, treatment group II receiving a 50 mg/kg body weight, treatment group III receiving a 100 mg/kg body weight, an normal group that was not DMBA-induced and did not receive therapy, and a negative control group that was DMBA-induced but did not receive therapy. The results of this study demonstrate that Begonia medicinalis extract effectively suppresses neutrophil concentration in a DMBA-induced colorectal cancer rat model. Treatment with 50 mg/kg body weight and 100 mg/kg body weight doses successfully reduced neutrophil cell levels in the experimental subjects, with the best results seen at the 100 mg/kg body weight dosage. This study provides new insights into the effects of plant-based therapies, Begonia medicinalis extract, in modulating the immune system by suppressing neutrophil concentration in a colorectal cancer rat model.

The procedure through stages is the development of a review protocol, definition of inclusion and exclusion criteria, literature search in predetermined databases, critical appraisal, data extraction, and information synthesis. The result shows that implementing the Merdeka curriculum with the Pancasila student profiled in early childhood education is carried out in intra-curricular, extra-curricular, and school culture learning, starting with understanding the Merdeka curriculum and learning outcomes. Future research might delve deeper into assessing the holistic impact of the Merdeka Curriculum's Pancasila-student profiling on various aspects of early childhood development beyond values integration, such as cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
