Abstract

This study examines the effect of corporate social responsibility (CSR) disclosure quality on firm value, with foreign ownership as a moderating variable. The study focuses on mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2021–2024 period. Using purposive sampling, 25 companies were selected, resulting in 100 firm-year observations, and analyzed using moderated regression analysis (MRA). The findings indicate that CSR disclosure quality has a negative and significant effect on firm value, suggesting that higher CSR reporting quality may not be appreciated by the market and may even be perceived as a cost. However, foreign ownership positively moderates this relationship, suggesting that the presence of foreign investors strengthens governance and transforms CSR reporting into a long-term value creation mechanism. These results contribute to the literature by integrating CSR disclosure quality as measured by the GRI Standards with foreign ownership, a rarely examined approach in the Indonesian mining sector. Future studies are recommended to expand the cross-sector scope and complement the quantitative analysis with qualitative approaches.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of local wisdom in early childhood education in Kendari City, focusing on its implementation at early childhood education Fajriatul Hikmah Kota Kendari and early childhood education Tasawuta Wawotobi Unaaha. A qualitative descriptive research method was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that teachers have a good understanding of local wisdom and its relevance in early childhood education, particularly in instilling cultural values such as mutual cooperation, obedience, and respect for nature. The integration of local wisdom is carried out through various learning activities, including storytelling of folk tales, the use of local languages, and traditional games. Additionally, parental and community involvement plays a crucial role in strengthening character education in children. However, the study also identified several challenges in implementing local wisdom, such as the lack of specialized training for teachers and limited time for incorporating cultural values into the curriculum. Therefore, policy support from the government, teacher training programs, and increased community involvement are necessary to optimize the implementation of local wisdom-based education.

Abstract

Parenting stress among mothers of young children is a significant mental health concern in Indonesia, particularly in the post-COVID-19 pandemic period, with negative implications for parenting quality and child development. Within a predominantly Muslim society, a stress management approach grounded in Islamic values may have potential effectiveness. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of Islamic Stress Management (ISM) group counseling in reducing parenting stress among mothers of young children. The study employed a quasi-experimental design with pre-test, post-test, and follow-up assessments involving seven mothers of young children in Yogyakarta. The intervention consisted of eight weekly group counseling sessions integrating ISM strategies (tawakkul, patience, gratitude, and dhikr) with supportive group dynamics. Parenting stress data were analyzed using paired-samples t-tests following the Shapiro–Wilk normality test. The results showed significant reductions in stress scores between the pre-test and post-test (t(6) = −5.261, p = 0.002), pre-test and follow-up (t(6) = −6.301, p = 0.001), and post-test and follow-up (t(6) = −5.461, p = 0.002), indicating sustained intervention effects. These findings suggest that ISM group counseling not only effectively reduces parenting stress but may also produce substantial effects at follow-up. The findings provide preliminary evidence for the development of evidence-based Islamic psychology interventions for Indonesian Muslim mothers, with practical implications for counseling services in community health centers (Puskesmas), early childhood education institutions, and religious organizations. Abstract

Black tea contains flavonoid and its derivate which is a mechanism of actions to stimulate and increase cell proliferation of hair dermal papilla cell to suppress the production of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF alpha) that trigger baldness. This study aimed to determine the stable hair tonic formula and to investigate the effectiveness of black tea extract hair tonic in rabbits (oryctolagus cuniculus) as animal testing. There were 3 different concentrations used in this study namely formula 1 (1.25 % of black tea extract), formula 2 (2.5 % of black tea extract) and formula 3 (5 % of black tea extract). The physical stability evaluation was conducted using some tests such as organoleptic, pH, density determination and viscosity test. The result of this evaluation showed that all the three formulas were stable, its effectiveness as hair restorer then was tested and the result of this test indicated that black tea extract has activity as a hair fertilizer and the optimum extract was shown by the formula 3 with black tea extract concentration of 5% with the hair growth in the 18th day i.e., 9.62 ± 0.365 mm.

Abstract

Background: Hemodialysis can challenge meaning, hope, relationships, and religious practice, making spiritual assessment relevant to holistic nursing. Purpose: To describe psychosocial, spiritual, and religious needs among adults receiving hemodialysis using the Spiritual Needs Assessment for Patients. Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study used the 23-item Spiritual Needs Assessment for Patients (SNAP). Available-case frequencies and percentages were reported because denominators differed across demographic variables and SNAP domains in the retained dataset. Results: Psychosocial needs were high in 33 of 60 participants (55.0%). Spiritual needs were high in 33 of 67 valid responses (49.3%), while religious needs were most often moderate (30/62; 48.4%). Sex, education, and age variables also had different valid denominators. Conclusion: Participants reported substantial psychosocial, spiritual, and religious needs. The inconsistent denominators require raw-data verification, but the pattern supports routine spiritual assessment and individualized nursing care that respects each patient's beliefs and preferences.
