Abstract

Cilacap is the largest district in Central Java with an area of 225,361 hectares. Topographically, Cilacap Regency is located at an altitude of 1-198 meters above sea level, stretching from west to east. With this condition, Cilacap Regency is an area that is prone to natural disasters such as floods, landslides and earthquakes. The area of Cilacap district along with the many areas prone to natural disasters makes the importance of a geographic information system mapping areas prone to natural disasters. With this system, it is hoped that the community and local governments can take precautionary measures before a natural disaster occurs in their area. The purpose of the research is to design a geographic information system for mapping natural disaster-prone areas for the Cilacap Regency web-based area with End User Development method. This method is used because it is able to produce a system that meets user needs directly. The testing the feasibility study of the system is conducted using the SUS (System Usability Scale) method. The results of this study are a geographic information system for mapping natural disasters and website-based evacuation points with the test results getting an average score of 72. This shows that the system can be implemented properly and is able to show the location of the natural disaster evacuation point areas more quickly as well as it is able to help the community and BPBD Cilacap in anticipating natural disasters.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology encourages innovation in various fields, including the field of disaster geographic information services. Lack of information on ambulance service providers is often the cause of delays in handling victims of natural disasters. Besides, the absence of information regarding the nearest route for ambulances to emergency service providers such as health centers and hospitals adds to the length of time for handling victims of natural disasters, resulting in increasingly severe victim losses, including life. This study aims to create a geographic information system that can be used to provide information on the location of the nearest ambulance service provider and emergency unit service. The system development research method uses the extreme programming method by implementing the Djikstra algorithm to determine the shortest route. This system testing process consists of testing the Djikstra algorithm and testing functionality using a usability scale. Djikstra's algorithm testing is done by comparing the results of calculating the shortest route for two location points with the results obtained when using the Google Maps application. The results of this test indicate that the system can display shorter routes than the routes generated by the Google Maps application. On the other hand, testing system functionality using the usability scale method to see system acceptance by users shows that the application can be used properly with a score obtained that is 77.

Abstract

This research explores and compares the performance of two popular load testing tools, namely Gatling and Apache JMeter, with a focus on API performance testing. The rapid growth in web and mobile application development highlights the urgent need to ensure optimal API performance. This research was conducted to provide in-depth insight into the advantages and disadvantages of these two testing tools through the use of similar testing scenarios. The experimental method involves implementing test scenarios that include load variations and high demands on both devices. The main parameters observed include API response time, throughput, and latency. In-depth analysis was carried out on the data obtained to evaluate the reliability and efficiency of each tool. The results of this research provide a comprehensive understanding of the performance of Gatling and Apache JMeter in the context of API performance testing. These findings can provide practical guidance for software developers and testing practitioners in selecting load testing tools that suit their project needs. Recommendations for future research include expanding exploration of other load testing tools, comparison with more complex test scenarios, and integration with performance monitoring tools for more holistic analysis. Thus, this research is expected to make a significant contribution to the understanding and selection of effective load testing tools in web and mobile application development.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology is encouraging innovation in various fields, including in the field of geographic disaster information services. The tsunami natural disaster is a serious threat to Cilacap district which has a fairly long coastline. When a natural disaster occurs, the first thing that victims of a natural disaster must do is take cover and look for the location that is considered the safest to save themselves. To increase community preparedness for potential tsunami risks, this research aims to develop evacuation location mapping using virtual reality technology in a 360 degree format specifically in Cilacap district. This research method has 2 stages, namely the literature study stage and the system development stage. The literature study stage begins with conducting direct observations and interviews with the Cilacap Regency BPBD. Meanwhile, the second stage is the system development stage which will be carried out using the extreme programming method which includes planning, designing, coding and system testing activities by implementing the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. The result of this research is an application for mapping natural disaster evacuation locations with the test results using the SUS method getting a score of 81. The practical implication of this research is that it can be a basis for related parties to design and implement more effective disaster mitigation strategies in Cilacap district.

Abstract

The high similarity rate among undergraduate thesis titles has become a critical issue in maintaining the originality of academic work within higher education institutions. This study aims to develop an automated system for detecting title similarity by combining the Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) algorithm with the Weighted Dice Similarity method. TF-IDF is used to assign weights to important words in the titles, while Weighted Dice Similarity measures the degree of similarity between titles based on the distribution and weights of these words. The study utilizes a dataset of 200 manually annotated thesis titles as ground truth. The analysis process includes preprocessing, word weighting, and similarity computation between titles. Experimental results show that the system achieves an accuracy of 94%, a precision of 66.67%, a recall of 81.3%, and an average Weighted Dice similarity score of 0.62. Although the precision score is relatively moderate, the combination of both methods is considered effective, as it captures both lexical structure and semantic similarity, capabilities that are not fully achieved when using a single method alone

Abstract

Aggressive Periodontitis is one of periodontal disease that generally affects individuals less than 30 years old, with a rapid attachment loss and alveolar bone destruction. Special features of the disease are affected incisors and first molars with symmetrical bilateral destruction. The purpose of this study was to determine the prevalence and characteristics of Aggressive Periodontitis at Student Clinics, Faculty of Dentistry Padjadjaran University on May to July 2010. Based on accidentally sampling, 415 new patients at Dental and Oral Hospital, Faculty of Dentistry Padjadjaran University and Dental and Oral Polyclinic at RSUP dr. Hasan Sadikin Bandung participated in this study. Each subject filled out the questionnaire and did a clinical examination. Patients with attachment loss ≥ 4 mm were referred for radiographic and microbiologic examination to support the diagnosis. The results showed that there were 13 patients who have the diagnostic criteria of Aggressive Periodontitis. Nine patients were diagnosed as Localized Aggressive Periodontitis, and 4 patients as Generalized Aggressive Periodontitis. It is concluded that the prevalence of Aggressive Periodontitis was 3.13%, and indicated low prevalence. Characteristics of Localized Aggressive Periodontitis patients were female in 20-29 age range, whereas characteristics of Generalized Aggressive Periodontitis patients were male in 30-39 age range.

Abstract

Limbah oli sering kali dibuang secara sengaja dan dapat mencemari lingkungan. Selain itu banyak pula kasus tumpahan oli dan minyak yang tidak disengaja. Ketika tumpahan oli dan kebocoran terjadi, dimungkinkan tanah dapat terkontaminasi dan mengalami perubahan kualitas dan sifat fisik pada tanah tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari kontaminasi limbah oli dengan durasi ½ minggu, 1 minggu, 2 minggu dengan cara memberikan tekanan udara sebesar 65 kPa ke dalam pressurized fill tank terhadap sifat fisis dan mekanis dari tanah lanau Desa Bometen, Kecamatan Gantiwarno. Hasil pengujian sifat fisis tanah yaitu uji kadar air tanah kontaminasi mengalami peningkatan dari tanah asli. Nilai berat jenis dan berat volume tanah kontaminasi semakin turun. Pada uji Atterberg, nilai LL, PL dan SL tanah kontaminasi mengalami penurunan namun untuk nilai PI naik. Klasifikasi tanah asli dan kontaminasi menurut AASHTO masuk dalam kelompok A-7-6, sedangkan menurut USCS masuk kelompok ML. Hasil pengujian sifat mekanis standard proctor tanah asli diperoleh berat volume kering maksimum 1.43 gr/cm3. Nilai kadar air optimum sebesar 23%. Hasil pengujian UCT tanah asli sebesar 332 kN/m2. Kontaminasi limbah oli menyebabkan nilai kuat tekan bebas mengalami penurunan seiring durasi kontaminasi. Hasil dari nilai terendah pada tanah kontaminasi 2 minggu sebesar 76 kN/m2. Untuk nilai modulus elastisitas juga berbanding lurus dengan nilai kuat tekan bebas yaitu mengalami penurunan. Nilai terendah pada tanah kontaminasi 2 minggu sebesar 18.15 kN/m2. Menurut klasifikasi nilai kuat tekan bebas pada tanah asli dan tanah kontaminasi ½ minggu termasuk tanah lanau sangat kaku, sedangkan untuk tanah kontaminasi 1 minggu termasuk lanau kaku dan nilai terendah pada kontaminasi 2 minggu termasuk kedalam lanau sedang.

Abstract

Bendungan sebagai bangunan yang menampung dan menahan air guna memenuhi berbagai kebutuhan masyarakat harus direncanakan dengan baik dengan bahan-bahan pembentuk tubuh bendungan yang harus memenuhi persyaratan tertentu. Pembangunan bendungan Gondang yang terletak di Kabupaten Karangayar, Provinsi Jawa Tengah merupakan bendungan type urugan. Agar bendungan tersebut dapat beroperasinal dengan baik maka perlu diketahui keamanan bendungan apakah sudah sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Mengingat pentingnya peran bendungan tersebut, maka penulis melakukan studi karakteristik bahan timbunan tubuh bendungan dan menganalisis stabilitas lereng tubuh bendungan. Hasil studi penerimaan material inti Bobakan dan Gempolan tidak memenuhi kriteria gradasi, maka perlu adanya perbaikan gradasi dengan cara menambah tanah pada fraksi tertentu yang dianggap kurang baik. Tahapan analisis stabilitas tubuh bendungan dilakukan pemodelan menggunakan Geoslope untuk memperoleh angka keamanan. Hasil analisis Geoslope menunjukan bahwa bagian hulu dan hilir bendungan menghasilkan nilai FS > 1,2 dan adanya pengaruh gempa menghasilkan FS > 1, dengan demikian bendungan dinyatakan aman kestabilannya pada kondisisetelah selesai konstruksi (tanpa genangan air), muka air normal, muka air banjir, rapid draw down dan adanya pengaruh gempa pada Y/h : 0,25; 0,50; 0,75; 1,00.

Abstract

Tanah Bayat, Klaten adalah tanah lempung dengan indeks plastisitas tinggi, sehingga perlu dilakukan perbaikan sifat fisis dan mekanisnya. Perbaikan yang dilakukan adalah stabilisasi dengan limbah slag baja 5%, 10%, 15% dan 20 % dari berat sampel. Penelitian dilakukan di laboratorium meliputi uji fisis dan uji mekanis. Hasil pengujian fisis tanah asli nilai kadar air (w) = 7,64%, berat jenis = 2,598%, batas cair (LL) = 77,50%, batas plastis (PL) = 33,68%, batas susut (SL) = 15,07%, indeks plastisitas (PI) = 44,44%. Klasifikasi tanah asli USCS: OH, dan AASHTO: A-7-5. Pada penambahan slag baja sifat fisis mengalami penurunan kadar air,batas cair dan indeks plastisitas, kenaikan pada berat jenis, batas susut, batas plastis. Klasifikasi tanah slag baja 5% menurut USCS: OH, AASHTO: A-7-5. Penambahan slag baja 10% menurut USCS: MH; AASHTO: A-7-5. Penambahan slag baja 15% dan 20% menurut USCS: SC; AASHTO: A-7-5. Pengujian Standard Proctor menunjukkan peningkatan nilai γdmaks, penurunan kadar air optimum (ωopt). Uji Konsolidasi nilai Cv meningkat, nilai Cc serta Sc menurun seiring dengan penambahan slag baja. Pada tanah asli nilai Cv 0,00073 cm2/dt, Cc 0,04422 dan Sc 0,01749 cm, pada tanah campuran slag baja 20% didapat nilai Cv sebesar 0,00149 cm2/dt, Cc 0,0355 dan Sc 0,01637 cm.

Abstract

Pengolahan sampah ternyata menimbulkan limbah lain berupa air lindi. Jika tidak dikelola dengan benar, air lindi dapat terbawa oleh air hujan dan menyebabkan pencemaran pada lingkungan sekitar, terutama pada tanah karena air lindi dapat menyerap masuk ke dalam lapisannya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan pengaruh waktu kontaminasi 0 hari, 3 hari, 7 hari, 14 hari, dan 21 hari air lindi pada kuat tekan bebas tanah lempung dengan variasi presentase air lindi sebesar 5% dan 10%. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan nilai kadar air mengalami peningkatan, sedangkan nilai berat jenis, berat volume, dan batas-batas Atterberg mengalami penurunan, peningkatan nilai terjadi pada analisa saringan dalam jumlah hasil lolos saringan nomor 200. Berat volume kеring mаksimum mengalami penurunan, sedangkan kadar air optimum mengalami peningkatan. Pada uji UCT nilai nilai kuat tekan bebas, kohesi undrained, modulus elastisitas juga mengalami penurunan dibanding tanah asli. Penurunan disebabkan oleh reaksi kimia air lindi terhadap tanah yang menyebabkan pelepasan partikel tanah sehingga tanah menjadi lebih halus dan kehilangan kekuatannya. Sedangkan pengaruh bertambahnya waktu kontaminasi air lindi menyebabkan jumlah pelepasan partikel tanah semakin besar sehingga memperburuk kondisi tanah. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa air lindi membawa pengaruh buruk pada kuat tekan bebas tanah.
