Abstract

Three paradigms enliven the implementation constellation of the welfare state — social democracy paradigm, neo-liberal paradigm, and social investment paradigm — Although they have been tough enough to guide many countries in the world to this point in formulating social policies for the welfare of their citizens, they pay less attention to environmental perspective and local capacity to innovate, particularly in the formulation of family policy.  This paper wants to point out that one of the paradigms mentioned earlier, specifically the social investment paradigm, can be used to strengthen the idea of decentralization and that environmental policy is also a social policy based on proper family policy since social investment aims to overcome new social risks and the needs of post-industrial society; such as seeking solutions for working and family life relationships, single parents, and low or even outdated life skills. The main notion of this viewpoint is that social policy should have productive instead of redistributive potential, which is necessary for economic development and employment growth. Through the concept of life course, the family becomes an irreplaceable unit of the social investment paradigm’s policy because a human’s life course has traditionally always been through a receptacle called family. The social investment policy is about serving and providing the greatest benefits at every stage of the life course however, in the perspective of Indonesia, the social investment approach in social policy has not yet entered the mainstream of the decentralization movement in this country after the reform, though it is realized that decentralization has fostered social capital and civic tradition at the local level. Abstract

As a result of their learning, students, teachers, and the school community practice clean and healthy living habits in the school. Problems that arise in primary schools show that students do not practice clean and healthy behaviours, such as rarely washing hands with running water and soap, rarely using healthy latrines, and rarely throwing garbage in its place, and that there are several cases of incidents such as diarrhoea, worms, typhoid, and ulcers. This study aims to identify the characteristics of clean and healthy behaviours in students at 5 Pancur Batu Primary School. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires on questions regarding healthy living behaviour and general questions covering health problems. The percentage of the indicator of healthy snack consumption in the school canteen has reached 81%. The percentage of indicators using clean and healthy latrines was as much as 78.6%. The percentage on the Regular and Measured Exercise indicator, obtained as much as 93.3%, looks almost perfect. Furthermore, 87.1% of the last indicator, eradicating mosquito flicks, was obtained. The percentage of students of Pancur Batu Primary School who have carried out clean and healthy living behaviour is 66.4%. Clean and Healthy Lifestyle education can increase knowledge about how to live a healthy life in the school environment so that students and students avoid disease. Increasing the knowledge and skills of students was carried out using lecture and demonstration methods. Because of the gallon sink, Pancur Batu primary School students can wash their hands before and after eating to avoid disease. Students also learned about personal hygiene, which is important for health.

Abstract

Salah satu daerah yang rawan terkena banjir berdasarkan data Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Kota Malang adalah Kelurahan Gadingkasri, Kecamatan Klojen, Kota Malang. Kelurahan ini memiliki bangunan rumah yang padat terdiri dari rumah penduduk hingga kos-kosan untuk mahasiswa dan pendatang. Kepadatan tersebut menyebabkan daerah ini sering mengalami bencana banjir pada musim penghujan ketika curah hujan tinggi. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya teknologi rekayasa yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menanggulangi kejadian tersebut, salah satunya membuat lubang resapan biopori-smart light untuk mengurangi debit air pada saat curah hujan tinggi dan sekaligus menjadi penerangan jalan. Teknologi ini sangat efektif diaplikasikan pada lahan sempit dan juga dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pencahayaan yang hemat energi karena menggunakan tenaga cahaya matahari. Lampu biopori dilengkapi dengan katoda dan anoda yang tersimpan didalam biopori.

Abstract

PPYD Al-Ikhlas adalah sebuah lembaga sosial, pendidikan, dan pemberdayaan ummat khususnya anak yatim dan dhuafa. PPYD Al-Ikhlas sangat bergantung dengan pasokan listrik PLN untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari seperti pompa, komputer, unit usaha, aktivitas pembelajaran dan lampu. Hal ini menyebabkan biaya listrik bulanan sangat mahal. Oleh karena itu, perlu ada alternatif energi untuk mengurangi kebergantungan pasokan PLN. Salah satu solusi adalah dengan instalasi pembangkit listrik tenaga surya (PLTS). Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan mencakup observasi, perhitungan penggunaan daya beban, perancangan dan pengujian serta serah terima sistem panel surya. Diharap kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dapat berperan positif dalam memenuhi kebutuhan listrik sehari-hari serta mengurangi biaya penggunaan listrik yang sebelumnya bergantung pada PLN.

Abstract

AbstrakPembelajaran fisika yang menekankan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa juga harus difasilitasi bagi siswa di pesantren, karena pesantren memiliki banyak kegiatan dan lingkungan yang erat kaitannya dengan fisika, terutama mengenai suhu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa di pesantren sebelum dan sesudah mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan model Argumentative Learning and Islamic Values in Pesantren (ALIVP). Penelitian ini menggunakan mix method dengan desains embedded experiment. Data diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan wawancara semi terstruktur. Data penelitian kuantitatif kemudian dianalisis melalui uji-t, effect size dan N-gain. Sedangkan data kualitatif dianalisis menggunakan pengumpulan data, verifikasi data, reduksi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa sebelum intervensi, kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa berada pada level pemula, sedangkan setelah pembelajaran model ALIVP, mereka mencapai level ahl. Hal ini dikuatkan dengan data kuantitatif yang menunjukkan ada perbedaan signifikan dalam kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa sebelum dan sesudah intervensi model ALIVP, dengan ukuran efek sebesar 4,03 yang berarti memberikan efek yang sangat besar serta nilai N-gain sebesar 0,71 atau berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase sebesar 71%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa model ALIVP sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa Improving Physics Problem Solving Ability in Pesantren Through the Argument Learning and Islamic Values on Pesantren (ALIVP) ModelAbstractPhysics learning which emphasizes that students have problem-solving abilities should also be facilitated to students in Islamic boarding schools, because Islamic boarding schools have many activities and the Islamic boarding school environment which are closely related to physics, especially regarding temperature. This research aims to explore the problems solving abilities of students at Islamic boarding schools before and after participating in learning using the argument learning and Islamic values in Pesantren (ALIVP) model. A mixed-method approach with an embedded experimental design was employed. Data were collected using problem-solving tests and semi-structured interviews. The quantitative data were analyzed using t-tests, effect size, and N-gain, while qualitative data were processed through stages of collection, verification, reduction, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that prior to the intervention, students' problem-solving skills were at a novice level, whereas post-ALIVP model learning, they reached an expert level. Quantitative findings revealed significant differences in students' problem-solving skills pre- and post-ALIVP model intervention, with an effect size of 4.03, indicating a substantial impact and an N-gain score of 0.71, categorizing as high with a 71% improvement rate. These results suggest that the ALIVP model is highly effective in enhancing students' problem-solving skills.

Abstract

Stres kerja dapat berpengaruh pada kesehatan perawat dan berlanjut pada terganggunya kinerja perawat, salah satunya dalam pemberian obat high alert. Ketidaktepatan waktu pemberian high alert medications memiliki risiko lebih tinggi membahayakan kesehatan pasien. Tujuan penelitian adalah menjelaskan hubungan tingkat stress kerja perawat IGD ketepatan waktu pemberian obat high alert. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perawat IGD RSUD Ibnu Sina. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 20 responden, diambil dengan purposive sampling. Variabel bebas adalah tingkat stres Perawat IGD dan variabel terikat adalah ketepatan pemberian obat high alert. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner nursing stress scale dan lembar observasi pemberian obat high alert. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi spearman dengan tingkat signifikansi a<0,05. Uji statistik spearman rho menunjukkan p=0,003 (a<0,05) sehingga H1 diterima artinya ada hubungan tingkat stres kerja Perawat IGD dengan ketepatan waktu pemberian obat high alert dengan tingkat korelasi kuat (r = 0,631). Semakin tinggi tingkat stres kerja perawat maka semakin rendah ketepatan waktu pemberian obat high alert. Bagi managemen rumah sakit diharapkan dapat mengantisipasi kondisi stres kerja dan meningkatkan kualitas management dispensing obat high alert. DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.6033604

Abstract

PTK Research Classroom Action Research was conducted at MTs Riyadlus Sholihin Rejing-Tiris-Probolinggo in the subjects of Al-Qur'an Hadith class VII B which amounted to 24 female students. The purpose of the study is to improve student learning outcomes. The focus of this research is improvement in the use of learning media. Learning improvement is carried out in two improvement cycles, from these two improvement cycles researchers design learning plans using power point media. In pre-cycle learning activities, there were 52.17% of students who did not complete or scored below 70 (KKM) and only 47.83% of students had scored 70 and above. In the first cycle, there were 34.78% of students who were incomplete and 65.22% of students who had completed. In this first cycle of learning improvement, student learning completeness increased by 14.72% from learning carried out in the pre-cycle. In this second cycle of learning improvement, the increase in learning outcomes has increased significantly and completeness has reached 95.65%. The results of the implementation of the second cycle of learning have improved well and have reached the expected completeness criteria with the level of completeness of student learning outcomes reaching 95.65%.

Abstract

The government's call to stay at home and physical and social distancing must be followed by a change in face-to-face learning to “online” learning (in the network). This study aims so that teachers and students can find out the factors that affect student learning motivation in Integrated Social Studies subjects during the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, teachers can also find out, modify, and implement several online learning techniques during this pandemic so that student learning motivation remains good. This research method uses qualitative research with a type of case study. Data collection techniques using interviews and documentation. There are several factors that affect student learning motivation in Integrated Social Studies subjects during the Covid-19 pandemic at MTs Private Syafiiyah Besuk Kab. Abstract

Ketergantungan kebutuhan pangan kususnya sayuran pada pasokan pasar dapat menimbulkan biaya yang tidak sedikit. Pencapaian kemandirian pangan di Pesantren Rakya Al-Amin sebagaia lembaga mitra pengabdian, dapat menekan biaya tersebut, mengoptimalkan lahan pesantren yang kurang produktif dan memberdayakan para santri pada hal yang bermanfaat. Hal inilah yang memotivasi tim pengabdian masyrakat Universitas Negeri Malang untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan di pesantren dengan melakukan pemasangan greenhouse dengan sistem IoT di Pesantren Rakyat Al-Amin. Greenhouse ini berfungsi sebagai pemasok kebutuhan sayuran di pesantren dan tempat belajar para santri. Proyek ini meliputi observasi, pemasangan, pelatihan, dan serah terima. Tanaman sayuran yang dihasilkan nantinya akan dimanfaatkan penuh oleh Pesantren Rakyat Al-Amin sebagai kebutuhan sayuran setiap harinya. Selain itu, greenhouse dengan sistem IoT ini memberikan kesempatan belajar bagi santri tentang teknologi pertanian yang berbasis IoT. Pemasangan greenhouse dengan sistem IoT di Pesantren Rakyat Al-Amin dapat dipantau secara real-time melalui aplikasi dalam smartphone. Untuk memastikan penggunaan jangka panjang, diperlukan pemeliharaan rutin terhadap greenhouse dengan sistem IoT ini.

Abstract

The ability of argumentation and scientific reasoning is part of scientific literacy which is a requirement for learning science. Students get knowledge according to the understanding of scientists, which is important for students to have, especially in Newton's law material, but learning in the classroom currently has not developed argumentation and scientific reasoning skills properly. This study used a mixed method design with an embedded experimental design carried out offline. This research design was used in order to obtain an in-depth picture of students' argumentation and scientific reasoning abilities. The results showed that students' argumentation and scientific reasoning abilities increased significantly after being given the phenomenon-based Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) learning model. This learning has a moderate effect on argumentation skills and a very large one on students' scientific reasoning. Even though students' argumentation abilities have increased significantly, on average students still have difficulty in associating a phenomenon with the appropriate Newton's Laws. Scientific reasoning students also experience positive changes. This is evidenced by the increase in post-test scores and effect sizes which are in the very large category
