Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam pemeriksaan Ante Natal Care. Kegiatan ini  berbasis skill/keterampilan dan edukasi. Mahasiswa tidak hanya memperoleh pengetahuan tetapi melatih keterampilan/skill pada pemeriksaan ibu hamil. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi langkah awal dalam melakukan pemeriksaan ante natal care dalam memberikan layanan kesehatan keperawatan maternitas di masa depan.  Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman pada ibu hamil tentang risiko dan kesehatan ibu dan janin serta melatih keterampilan mahasiswa pada pemeriksaan ante natal care. Ada pun peningkatan pengetahuan dari peserta terlihat dari hasil pre-test dan post-test yang dilakukan. Maka target pencapaian yang telah direncanakan dapat dikatakan baik dari nilai rata-rata pre-test 58,5% dan hasil post-test 85%. dengan nilai rata-rata peningkatan  46,67 %.

Abstract

The research employed the descriptive method. The data collecting techniques were interviews, observations, surveys, and focus group discussions with several elements of society from at-risk adolescents, parents in general, and community leaders. The results showed that people's knowledge was poor both personally and interpersonally. The researchers assessed the need for socialization planning involving the community. Also, the researchers socialized the adolescents with counseling on children's rights, social and assertive skills, helping skills, establishing a Children's Forum, and optimizing the Taman Baca Anak (Children's Reading Garden). Furthermore, a socialization of child protection and good parenting was carried out for parents. The organization can be strengthened by developing networks with the Bandar Lampung City Family Learning Center. The evaluation showed an increased empowerment of adolescents, parents, adults, and organizations. The practical implication of this research is the learning method in improving the level of thinking and proficiency in action for at-risk adolescents where every process involves the community. Within the scope of future research, there is an expectation that educational interventions will be employed to foster the comprehension of at-risk adolescents and their parents concerning the importance of adolescent self-awareness and the promotion of effective parent-child communication.

Abstract

Javanese  culture  are not  only provided  color in government  in Indonesia but also gives influence to religious practice. Java communities  who are predominantly  muslim can not leave their cultural traditions  until now day, even though sometimes it goes against  the Islamic worship (heterodox).  Ruwatan  is a worship that man saved from disruption  and disaster that threatens  their lives.  Through  ruwatan  people  feel  protected  by a large  force that  is believed  to be the power of the savior, this  phenomena continues until now. With add the Islamic shari’ah that does not prevent to implement ruwatan and morbidly eliminating the usual tradition  at the usual tradition  at the communicaties,  and do not deviate from the Islamic aqeedah and morals in the Al-qur’an and Hadits of prophet Muhammad. Shirk and bid’ah directed towards monotheism  and sunnah. The practice  include read surah Yasin by congregation, read tayyibah and prayers to our prophet. Say a prayer (pleading to Allah swt) in order to avoid our family from distress and given the salvation  of the world and the here after, held shadaqah/ charity   which was served to the participants  of the ceremony ruwatan

Abstract

In an effort to face various challenges and developments, the enactment of Law no. 23 of 2014, in article 221 paragraph 1 that, in the Dutch colonial era Agusen village was a village for the disposal of people affected by leprosy, this village was also a village left behind and far from the hustle / city center, low levels of education, and low economic growth, known as cannabis-producing villages. This study aims to reveal about: (1) Blangkejeren District government efforts in empowering rural tourism-based Islamic communities, their empowerment processes and changes after the process, in order to improve the economy of Agusen village communities, the Type of research used is Field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data sourced from primary data and secondary data, with data collection techniques interview, observation, and documentation, as well as data analysis by collecting data, data education, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of research conducted by the Blangkejeren District Government are approaching, the program used to be the village of cannabis now a tourist village, coffee commodity farmers, English language courses, and increasing the entrepreneurial spirit of the community. In the process of empowering the Agusen village-based village tourism community through awareness, planning the Agusen village tourism village program, training and skills development, rural tourism development, coffee farmers commodity, English courses. changes after the process of empowering the village-based tourist community is the emergence of new businesses for the Agusen village community, such as food stalls, coffee shops and also income from admission, parking, and rental of equipment for rafting which is supporting the improvement of the community's economy.

Abstract

Covid-19 outbreak has become a world pandemic, hundreds of countries in the world are stricken with the deadly virus. The average country in the world has the power to eradicate an outbreak that was first reported to appear in Wuhan, China. Countries in the world make efforts to handle it. This study aimed to (a) analyze the forms of government response in facing and dealing with the impacts caused by Covid-19, and (b) and analyzing the forms of community participation in the world to deal with effects of Covid-19. This research, which uses descriptive qualitative methods, collects data by searching online for various data sources (online media, journals, and scientific reports). From the research conducted, it was found that responsive governments tend to be able to control Covid-19. In addition, the great support of citizens to participate, became the second secret of faster handling of Covid-19.

Abstract

Da'wah is an effort to invite, convey, and spread the truth to the community to carry out the teachings of Islam according to the guidance of the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. The cultural da'wah approach in the form of Medical Manuscripts is carried out in the Kelumbayan District community who still carry out the Hindu-Buddhist tradition. This study aims to reveal the implementation of Fuadi Amri's treatment script in Kelumbayan District and the results. This research is a qualitative descriptive field research. Data sourced from primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques consist of interviews, observations, and documentation, as well as data analysis by collecting data, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the research on the implementation of the treatment script carried out by Fuadi Amri in Kelumbayan District were a process of deliberation, providing advice and guidance, instructing patients and their families to do dhikr and prayer, and provide final motivation. The result of the implementation of the Medical Manuscript is the achievement of the goals of da'wah both practical, realistic, and idealistic. Preservation of local culture with its usefulness, as well as uniting a multicultural society.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of activities in Pekon that utilize the potential of Natural Resources and Human Resources through the Village Fund Allocation (DDS) as outlined in the Pekon Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBPekon) 2015 to 2020, which is managed independently by the community. Taking the background in Gadingrejo District, Pringsewu Regency, the subject in this study is the community in Gadingrejo District which consists of 23 Pekon with a population of 38,222 people using Purposive Sampling so that there are criteria in determining the sample. In this study, the author collects data through observation, interviews, and documentation. Actual data was collected using the descriptive analysis method. According to the study's findings, the village fund had a positive impact on the community, as evidenced by the collaboration between the government and the community in improving the development of village facilities and infrastructure such as the construction of roads, bridges, culverts, repairing village facilities by involving the community at all stages from planning to implementation to maintenance, and empowerment activities aimed at improving the econometric situation.

Abstract

The Ministry of Agriculture has formulated a policy to achieve food security in Indonesia, namely the Upsus PAJALE Program (special efforts for rice, corn and soybeans). Through this program, it is expected to be able to realize food security and improve the welfare of farmers. This study aims to reveal about: community empowerment activities of farmers and farmer welfare after participating in the Upsus PAJALE Program in South Lampung, especially Way Galih Village. The type of research used is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data sourced from primary data and secondary data, with data collection techniques interview, observation, documentation, and data analysis by collecting data, data reduction, data presentation, data validity and conclusions. The results showed that the Upsus PAJALE Program had been carried out with various empowerment activities, namely: pre-planting to post-harvest assistance, training, providing farmers’ production tools and facilities, developing technology, developing partnerships, and developing marketing information. But what needs to be emphasized again is the marketing process, farmers are not given a guarantee of selling prices and there is no place to coordinate their harvests, so the government seems to only focus on increasing their production. Meanwhile, the welfare of farmers after participating in the Upsus PAJALE Program are: increasing productive land, increasing production yields, increasing farmer members, increasing knowledge, providing employment opportunities, and improving the farmer’s economy so that farmers become prosperous.

Abstract

Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have an essential role in Indonesia's economy and poverty alleviation. The obstacle MSMEs face today is the lack of innovation in access to technology, marketing capital, and management. One of the advantages of the village is that it has a professional community, but this cannot be separated from the extension of the village government to improve the quality of community management by empowering the skills of the village community. This study aims to reveal community empowerment activities to enhance product quality and welfare through the Siger Bori Joint Business Group (KUBE) in Labuhan Ratu Village, Kedaton District, and Bandar Lampung City. The type of research used is field research with a qualitative, descriptive approach. Data is sourced from primary and secondary sources, with data collection techniques, interviews, observations, documentation, and data analysis including data education, data presentation, data validity, and conclusions. The technique of testing the data's reality is a triangulation technique. The study results showed that Bori's empowerment activities began with activity socialization, training, coaching, and mentoring stages. After the training program for KUBE Siger Bori members, developments and changes began to be seen in the quality of already better products. In addition, there is a change in the increase in income in the family. The income earned can be used to meet his family's needs.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to discover how the Shari'a Savings and Loans Cooperative (KSPPS) BMT Pondok Pesantren Al-Hikmah Bandar Lampung implements the economic empowerment strategy and its implications for the community. This is a qualitative study that employs data collection techniques such as interviews and documentation. The author used eight customers as research subjects and two administrators from KSPPS BMT Al-Hikmah. In this qualitative study, data was analyzed before entering the field, while in the field, and after it was completed. In practice, however, data analysis is more focused during the data collection process in the field. The findings of this study indicate that the community economic empowerment strategy implemented was a success, as evidenced by the implementation of three excellent programs, namely empowerment, capacity, and empowerment. The findings indicate that KSPPS BMT Al- Hikmah Bandar Lampung is capable of increasing income and economic welfare, as well as the resilience of the members' families.
