Abstract

Abstract. The development of an e-atlas of the morphology and anatomy of Solanaceae plants serves as a digital-based supporting learning resource that can be utilized in higher education. The product contains direct observation results of plant morphology and anatomy conducted in the Biology Laboratory of FMIPA UNM. The purpose of this research and development (R&D) was to produce an e-atlas as a valid and practical biology learning resource for the Plant Structure and Development course. This study employed the ADDIE development model, consisting of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results showed that the e-atlas was declared valid by expert validators with a validity score of 1 (valid category). The practicality test based on lecturers’ responses reached 90.62%, and student responses reached 85.66%, indicating that the e-atlas is highly practical with positive feedback. Thus, it can be concluded that the developed e-atlas of morphology and anatomy of Solanaceae plants is valid and practical. Keywords: e-atlas, learning resource, practical, valid

Abstract

With the rapid development of digital technology, there is a need to improve digital literacy at an early age. Children who grow up in a digital world need basic skills to use devices, understand information, and interact safely and responsibly. Through theoretical analysis and the latest empirical studies, this research attempts to explain the role of interactive media in helping the development of digital literacy in early childhood. The method used is literature research by looking at various relevant scientific publications from 2019 to 2024. The results of the analysis show that interactive media improves basic digital skills, encourages thinking, and engages children in lessons. Interactive media enables multisensory and responsive learning experiences tailored to children's developmental needs. To ensure safe, guided, and age-appropriate use, parents and educators must supervise them. The results show that interactive media, when used in a planned manner and with attention to digital safety aspects, has strategic potential to improve digital literacy in early childhood.

Abstract

To prepare children for elementary school, it is crucial to learn the basic concepts of literacy from an early age. Teacher strategies are an essential element in the learning process. Introducing basic literacy concepts to early childhood provides a foundation for their transition to the next level of education. Furthermore, children are also expected to understand the concept of literacy. The purpose of this study was to determine teachers' strategies for introducing basic literacy concepts in early childhood education (PAUD) as preparation for entering elementary school. The research method used was a systematic literature study. The focus of the study was to search, select, and analyze various scientific sources related to early literacy and learning strategies in PAUD. The results showed that teachers used several strategies to introduce basic literacy concepts, including direct learning strategies or through play, involving children in learning activities, role-playing, storytelling, or storytelling.

Abstract

Instilling religious and moral values in early childhood is an essential part of developing fundamental character, which will influence their behavior later in life. This article discusses various approaches used in education, including role-playing, habituation, storytelling, role-playing, and hands-on experiences in daily life. This study assesses the extent to which these techniques can influence children's moral and spiritual development using descriptive and analytical approaches. The discussion reveals that the effectiveness of these methods is greatly influenced by consistent educator behavior, family involvement, and a learning environment that supports the consistent application of values. Therefore, instilling religious and moral values requires a comprehensively planned approach and evaluation to ensure that it does not become merely a routine but truly shapes children's character.

Abstract

Religious and moral development in early childhood is an important component in character formation from an early age. To understand how children develop an understanding of values, rules, and moral behavior, Lawrence Kohlberg's theory of moral development and Jean Piaget's theory of cognitive development serve as foundations. Based on these two theories, this study examines the implementation of Hajj rituals as a way to encourage the religious and moral development of early childhood children. Various literature on moral development, early childhood education, and the implementation of Hajj rituals in early childhood education institutions is discussed in this study. The results show that through concrete experiences, habituation, and a clear rule structure, Hajj rituals can foster children's moral development, especially at the heteronomous morality stage (Piaget) and preconventional morality stage (Kohlberg). However, the success of the activities depends heavily on the teacher's ability to incorporate moral principles into each phase of the rituals and provide explanations appropriate to the child's developmental level. This article finds that Hajj rituals have the potential to serve as an effective tool for moral development if conducted in a manner that focuses on the meaning of religious values rather than simply introducing rituals.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Festival Anak Saleh (FAS) [Pious Children Festival] activities as a means of developing moral and religious values in early childhood. The results indicate that FAS significantly contributes to the instillation of moral and religious values. Through various types of competitions and activities (such as prayer memorization, adhan (call to prayer), and short sermons), children demonstrated improvements in aspects of discipline (punctuality and obedience), responsibility (completing competition tasks), sportsmanship (accepting defeat and victory), and the internalization of religious values (courage to perform and practice worship). Conclusion: The Festival Anak Saleh proves to be an effective and enjoyable platform for practically integrating religious and moral learning, helping to transition these values from abstract concepts into real-life behavior in children's daily lives.

Abstract

Environmental law enforcement in Indonesia continues to face complex challenges despite noticeable improvements in institutional capacity and regulatory frameworks. This study employs a literature-based research method to examine the dynamics, obstacles, and prospects of environmental law enforcement from various scholarly sources, government reports, and legal documents. Data from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) indicate that more than 900 environmental crime cases were handled in 2023, with a cumulative total of over 7,800 reports since the establishment of the enforcement directorate. However, the high number of cases reflects persistent structural issues, including weak inter-agency coordination, ineffective sanctions, limited action against corporate and intellectual actors, and slow judicial processes. The findings also highlight significant prospects for improvement through restorative justice approaches, the use of artificial intelligence and big data in monitoring, the application of multidoor law enforcement, and stronger community participation. Overall, this study concludes that Indonesia possesses the legal instruments and institutional potential needed to strengthen environmental protection.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology and social media has contributed to the increasing number of defamation cases in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze law enforcement against perpetrators of defamation through social media based on the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE). The research employs a literature review method, examining legislation, government reports, police data, and academic publications. Data indicate a significant rise in reported defamation cases, increasing from 320 cases in 2019 to 760 cases in 2024, based on compiled data from the Indonesian Cyber Crime Directorate and supporting sources. The findings reveal several challenges in law enforcement, particularly concerning proof of “intent” and “harmful impact,” as well as interpretational ambiguity within Article 27 paragraph (3) of the UU ITE. Additionally, the rapid dissemination of information on social media amplifies the impact of defamation. This study highlights the need to improve regulations, strengthen digital literacy, and enhance the capacity of law enforcement officers to ensure fair and proportional law enforcement.

Abstract

Restorative justice is a criminal case resolution approach that focuses on restoring victims’ losses through dialogue among offenders, victims, and the community. This article examines the development of restorative justice in Indonesia’s criminal justice system by reviewing relevant regulations, previous studies, and practices within the police, prosecution, and judiciary. The findings show that its application has strengthened following the issuance of Prosecutor’s Regulation No. 15/2020, Police Regulation No. 8/2021, and Supreme Court Circular No. 2/2021. Although effective in reducing the workload of the justice system and providing victim recovery, its implementation still faces challenges such as limited understanding among law enforcement, potential misuse of discretion, and the absence of a specific law. The article highlights the need for stronger regulations and inter-agency coordination to ensure optimal restorative justice practices.
