Abstract

This study aims to explain the influence of guidance and counseling on character development in early childhood. This study uses design research as its methodology. By utilizing design research, it was concluded that not only parents but also BK teachers play an important role in shaping children's character. Providing the right guidance and counseling can have a positive impact on the formation of children's character. As children develop through their developmental stages, they may face various obstacles that hinder their growth. Inconsistencies in child development can arise from problems related to the child itself. Both the family environment and the play environment contribute to the challenges faced by these children. Such problems can lead to behaviors such as arrogance, excessive emotions, anxiety, and so on. School counselors should use age-appropriate counseling techniques to improve their character. Early childhood problems require counseling interventions. Consequently, the implementation of guidance and counseling in early childhood has a very large influence on character development in the future.

Abstract

The concept of the State of Law is a universal concept that is embraced by almost all countries in the world. In general, the type of state of law is divided into two, namely the state of law of the Rechtsstaat and the state of law The Rule of Law. Both types of legal states have their own characteristics, but they have similarities, namely related to the protection of human rights. This article will discuss the Indonesian Rule of Law from the perspective of the Rechtsstaat and The Rule of Law type and discuss the concept of Human Rights in Indonesia. This article is a normative legal research with a legislative approach, conceptual regulation and historical approach. The results of the study show that the State of Indonesia qualifies as a state of law based on indicators of the Rechtstaat and The Rule of Law types. Meanwhile, related to the concept of Human Rights based on the Indonesian Rule of Law, there is a balance between the rights and obligations of citizens and the Government based on the concept of mutual cooperation and the principle of harmony. This is what is the characteristic of the Indonesian State of Law or also called the State of Pancasila Law.

Abstract

This article examines in depth the relationship between the concepts of citizenship and geopolitics in the face of the increasingly complex challenges of globalization. The main objective of this article is to encourage the development of national awareness through the integration of geopolitical approaches in civic education. In the context of developing countries such as Indonesia, citizenship education not only serves to form law-abiding citizens, but also as a strategic means to instill national values and national identity. According to Kymlicka (2001), citizenship education plays a role as the main foundation in strengthening solidarity and identity in a nation-state. Therefore, understanding geopolitical dynamics is an important part of fostering an understanding of Indonesia's strategic position in the regional and global region. This article emphasizes that the geopolitical approach can help students in developing national insights that are contextual and relevant to current issues. The research was conducted using a literature study method and a qualitative approach that allowed an in-depth exploration of previous theories and findings. The results of the study show that civic education integrated with a geopolitical perspective is able to increase the love of the homeland and the active participation of citizens in maintaining the integrity of the nation. Furthermore, this article finds that the integration between civic education and geopolitics can be a strong foundation in fortifying the younger generation from the negative influences of globalization that can erode national values. Knowledge of geopolitics provides students with a thorough understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing Indonesia in international relations. Civic education with a geopolitical approach also strengthens students' socio-political intelligence in responding to various contemporary issues, such as regional conflicts, energy security, and the influence of global powers on national sovereignty. In this case, teachers have a strategic role as facilitators to instill a contextual and applicative understanding of geopolitics. This study recommends the need to reformulate the civic education curriculum in order to be able to respond to the needs of the times and strengthen geopolitical awareness from an early age. Thus, students not only become cognitively intelligent citizens, but also have social sensitivity, national responsibility, and commitment to the integrity of the nation and state. The article also emphasizes that global challenges require an educational response that is adaptive, visionary, and based on national contexts. In conclusion, the integration of civic education and geopolitical insight is an important step in forming a resilient generation of nations in the global era.

Abstract

The teacher's code of ethics is the basis of the behavior of Indonesian educators in carrying out their professional responsibilities in the field of education. The main purpose of formulating a code of ethics is to ensure that the work of a profession runs as expected and to protect the needs of all parties as it should. The purpose of this research is to find out whether or not the teacher's code of ethics has an influence on learning activities in schools. The research was carried out in an elementary school, with Islamic characteristics and based on nature. The research method used is a quantitative approach, using a sample of 10-25% of the population. The sample in this study is subject teachers, namely Islamic Religious Education, Sports and Health Physical Education, English teachers and Arabic teachers. This research was carried out up to four meetings, paying attention to the planning, implementation, evaluation and dissemination stages.  From the above definitions, it can be concluded that a professional teacher is a teacher who is able to carry out the educational process with high ability. Where, they master knowledge, are active in professional organizations, and understand the learning process completely. Alam examines the professional attitude of teachers in the perspective of Islamic education, 4 basic questions have been developed, namely: (1) what is the meaning of teachers' professional attitudes; (2) what is the target of the teacher's professional attitude; (3) how to develop a teacher's professional attitude; and (4) what is the professional attitude of teachers from the perspective of Islamic education? To answer these problems, the author studies them through literature searches, both based on theories and trade provisions, and through the study of the Qur'an and the Prophet's Hadith. The results of the literature search found that: (1) the teacher's professional attitude is an action or activity in the form of a good example in carrying out duties as a teacher who has high knowledge, attitude, and skills in carrying out the teacher's main duties; (2) the teacher's professional attitude includes: (a) attitude towards students; (b) attitude towards leaders/leaders; (c) attitudes towards colleagues; (d) attitude towards professional organizations; (e) attitude towards work; (f) attitudes towards the workplace; and (g) attitudes towards legislation; (3) the development of professional attitudes can be carried out through two stages, namely: pre-service education and in-service education/training; and (4) the attitude of professionalism in Islamic education, which is the action of a teacher who not only teaches but also educates with scientific and academic qualifications, but more importantly has commendable morals, such as having patience in teaching, conveying what is called for with honesty, and carrying out educational activities sincerely. It is hoped that this article can provide benefits and insights for readers regarding the professional attitude of teachers in the Islamic perspective and make it a basis for thinking and acting in carrying out the duties of the teaching profession, so that it is not only a devotee of duties and obligations, but at the same time as worship by Allah SWT.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengelolaan manajemen kas yang tepat untuk menjaga likuiditas perusahaan. penelitian ini dilakukan di PT. Nusantara Surya Sakti Cabang Makassar.  Dalam penelitian ini, sampel yang diambil adalah 5 tahun data laporan keuangan dan Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penelitian kepustakaan dan penelitian lapangan. Adapun metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif, yaitu dengan menganalisis manajemen kas untuk mengetahui kemampuan perusahaan dalam menjaga hutang jangka pendeknya melalui laporan keuangan, kemudian mengunakan analisis rasio likuiditas yang terdiri dari current ratio, quick ratio, dan cash ratio. Hasil analisis penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa manajemen kas yang di jalankan oleh PT. Nusantara Surya Sakti Cabang Makassar sudah tepat karena perusahaan dapat memenuhi kewajiban financial jangka pendeknya yang telah jatuh tempo.

Abstract

This study aims to compare or calculate the calculation of room rent at Makassar Hajj hospital. The object of this research is Makassar haju hospital located in Makassar city. In this writing the author uses quantitative writing methods. The results of the data analysis are done by processing primary data that is about all hospital operating costs incurred in the previous period, then the data is processed. The results showed that the effect of inpatient income on the income level of Makassar Hajj Hospital. In 2011 the level of inpatient admission was Rp. 1,988,230,000 to hospital revenue. In 2012, the level of inpatient income rose to Rp. 2,174,640,000, - to hospital revenue. In 2013, there was also an increase in hospital revenue due to inpatient revenues increasing by Rp. 2,077,880,000, - And in 2014, inpatient revenue also increased to hospital revenue by Rp.2,123,630,000.- From the results obtained above, it shows that the increase in revenue from Makassar Hajj Hospital was influenced by inpatient revenue. Thus, the proposed hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

Abstrak. Permasalahan sanitasi masih menjadi tantangan serius di Kota Makassar, di mana pertumbuhan penduduk dan aktivitas ekonomi tidak selalu diikuti dengan pengelolaan lingkungan yang baik. Kondisi sanitasi yang buruk berpotensi menurunkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat karena meningkatnya risiko penyakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh status sosial ekonomi dan persepsi masyarakat terhadap kualitas sanitasi lingkungan serta menentukan faktor yang paling berpengaruh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan metode ex post facto. Sebanyak 323 responden dipilih secara acak dari lapisan sosial ekonomi di kawasan padat penduduk Kota Makassar. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dan dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif serta regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan (β = 0,335; p = 0,000) dan pendapatan (β = 0,193; p = 0,006) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas sanitasi lingkungan, sedangkan persepsi masyarakat (p = 0,909) tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada penggabungan faktor pendidikan, pendapatan, dan persepsi masyarakat secara bersamaan untuk memahami hubungan sosial ekonomi dan sanitasi dalam kesehatan masyarakat, sehingga dapat menjadi dasar kebijakan peningkatan sanitasi dan pencegahan penyakit di perkotaan. Kata Kunci: Status Sosial Ekonomi; Persepsi Masyarakat; Sanitasi Lingkungan; Kota Makassar

Abstract

Pengelolaan sampah yang benar sangat mempengaruhi kualitas lingkungan. Lingkungan yang bersih dan asri sangat ditentukan dari kemampuan pengelolaan sampah oleh masyarakat. Partisipasi masyarakat sangat berperan penting dalam konsep pengelolaan sampah yang benar.Pelatihan Pengenalan Tempat Sampah Optimal sebagai komposter Skala Rumah Tangga di Kota Makassar bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, mengispirasi, mempopulerkan, dan menggugah masyarakat di Kota Makassardalam memanfaatkan dan mengembangkan TSO sebagai komposter skala rumah tangga dalam penerapannya di kehidupan sehari-hari. Metode yang telah dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini secara bertahap meliputi ceramah untukpemaparan materi dengan pengenalan mengenai bahan, alat, perakitan danprinsip kerja,demostrasi serta praktik langsung, dan diskusi. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan respons positif dari peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat sudah mengetahuipemanfaatan TSO sebagai komposterserta manfaat lainnya. Selain pemanfaatan TSO sebagai komposter, secara mandiri masyarakat dapat memanfaatkannya sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan penerapannya. Seluruh peserta telah memiliki keterampilan dan pengetahuan sehingga peluang untuk pemanfaatan TSOsebagai kompostersemakin terbuka lebar. Selama kegiatanberlangsung seluruh peserta menunjukkan antusiasme sangat tinggi terhadap kegiatan pelatihan ini.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran inovatif menjadi salah satu strategi penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Materi biologi yang melibatkan objek mikroskopis membutuhkan visualisasi yang lebih jelas dan konkret. Kegiatan program kerja pembuatan media BioVision 3D dan poster Human Body Systems ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengalaman belajar yang konkret, interaktif, serta mudah diakses oleh siswa maupun guru, sekaligus mendukung peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran biologi di SMAN 11 Makassar. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini bersifat deskriptif, yang meliputi tahapan persiapan alat dan bahan, perancangan desain media, pembuatan media pembelajaran, dan tahap finishing hingga media siap digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Program ini menghasilkan BioVision 3D dan poster Human Body Systems yang siap dimanfaatkan oleh guru dalam proses pembelajaran biologi di kelas. Hasil kegiatan dideskripsikan berdasarkan pengamatan langsung dan umpan balik informal dari guru serta siswa, yang menunjukkan bahwa media BioVision 3D dan poster Human Body Systems memberikan kemanfaatan nyata melalui visualisasi konsep biologi yang lebih jelas, interaktif, dan menarik, sehingga mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih efektif serta meningkatkan motivasi dan pemahaman siswa.

Abstract

Pelatihan desain grafis digital menggunakan Canva dan Assembler Edu dilaksanakan sebagai upaya pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan literasi digital siswa SMAN 11 Makassar. Kegiatan ini dirancang sebagai respon terhadap kebutuhan siswa dalam menguasai keterampilan visual dan teknologi digital yang semakin penting pada era abad 21. Pelatihan dilakukan melalui pemahaman materi, pemaparan, praktik langsung dalam kelompok kecil, serta sesi diskusi dan tanya jawab. Peserta memperkenalkan berbagai fitur Canva, seperti pengaturan tata letak, pemilihan warna, tipografi, serta penggunaan elemen visual dua dan tiga dimensi. Selain itu, pengenalan Assembler Edu memberikan pengalaman baru bagi peserta untuk mengeksplorasi teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) dan mengintegrasikannya ke dalam karya desain mereka. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini meningkatkan pemahaman peserta terhadap prinsip dasar desain grafis serta kemampuan praktis dalam menghasilkan karya digital yang kreatif dan menarik. Antusiasme siswa terlihat dari tingginya keterlibatan dalam praktik dan eksplorasi fitur AR. Secara keseluruhan, pelatihan ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam menumbuhkan budaya literasi digital, kreativitas, dan pemanfaatan teknologi yang relevan di lingkungan sekolah.
