Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of talent management and motivation on employee performance at the Rahyat Housing Office, Settlement and Defense Areas of West Sumatra Province. This study uses quantitative methods. The population is employees at the Office of the Rahyat Housing Office, Settlement and Defense Areas of West Sumatra Province, as many as 59 respondents and the sample is 59 respondents, the sampling technique is saturated sapling technique where all populations are sampled. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS application. The results showed that talent management had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Rahyat Housing Office, Settlement and Defense Areas of West Sumatra Province, and work motivation had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Rahyat Housing Office, Settlement and Defense Areas of West Sumatra Province.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of promotions and transfers on the performance of Civil Servants at the Regional Secretariat of Dharmasraya Regency. The method used in this thesis research is a quantitative method with an associative approach. The data collected in this study was obtained by distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale instrument with a sample of 68 civil servants, where the sampling method used was saturated sampling, which means the number of samples is the same as the total population. The data was processed using SPSS 16.00, with the results showing that the variables of promotion and mutation had a positive and significant effect on the performance of civil servants at the Regional Secretariat of Dharmasraya Regency. By knowing the relationship between these variables, promotion and transfer policies can be used to improve the performance of civil servants at the Regional Secretariat of Dharmasraya Regency.

Abstract

Shalat merupakan suatu ibadah mahdhah yang diwajibkan oleh Allah kepada setiap muslim baik laki-laki maupun perempuan. Oleh kerena itu shalat tidak boleh ditinggalkan tanpa ada uzur syar`i. Skripsi ini berjudul “Hukum Meninggalkan Sahalat Tanpa Uzur Syar`i Studi Perbandingan Mazhab Hanafi dan Hambali. Mazhab Hambali menyebutkan orang yang meninggalkan shalat tanpa uzur syar`i maka dibunuh, sedangkan dalam mazhab hanafi yang meninggalkan shalat tanpa uzur syari ditangkap. Penelitian menggunakan metode kajian kepustakaan dengan menggunakan pendekatan fiqh muqarran. Dari paparan permasalahan diatas dapat disimpulkan meninggalkan shalat tanpa uzur syari menurut mazhab Hanafi adalah fasik. Dan menurut mazhab Hambali adalah kafir karna mengingkari kewajiban shalat.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to analyze the influence of digital transformation, capitalization, and credit risk on the profitability of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019–2024 period.   Design/methodology/approach – This explanatory quantitative study uses a census or saturated sampling method, selecting 16 banking companies from a population of 47 listed banks. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing with SPSS version 27.   Findings – The results show that digital transformation does not have a significant effect on profitability. In contrast, capitalization and credit risk significantly influence profitability. These findings indicate that financial stability factors remain more influential than digital initiatives in determining banking profitability.   Originality/value – This study contributes to banking performance literature by examining the simultaneous role of digital transformation, capitalization, and credit risk in influencing profitability within Indonesia’s banking sector during a period of rapid digitalization. The findings provide strategic insights for banks to strengthen digital capabilities, optimize capital structures, and improve risk management.

Abstract

Purpose –  This study aims to examine the influence of lifestyle, financial technology, and financial literacy on millennials’ decisions in Malang City to invest in digital gold.    Design/methodology/approach – This explanatory quantitative research tests causal relationships among variables using hypothesis testing. The sample consists of 120 respondents selected through non-probability purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 27.   Findings – The results show that lifestyle, financial technology, and financial literacy each have a positive and significant effect on investment decisions, both partially and simultaneously.   Originality/value – This study integrates behavioral, technological, and financial literacy factors to explain digital gold investment decisions among millennials, offering a more comprehensive view of modern investment behavior.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to examine the effect of leverage, liquidity, and firm size on the profitability of infrastructure sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019–2023 period.      Design/methodology/approach – This quantitative study uses secondary data from the financial statements and official websites of infrastructure sector companies listed on the IDX. Census sampling with predetermined criteria resulted in 22 companies, of which 18 were included in the final analysis after outlier testing. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 27 following classical assumption tests.   Findings – The results indicate that leverage and liquidity have significant effects on profitability, while firm size does not have a significant effect on profitability.   Originality/value – This study provides empirical evidence on the determinants of profitability in Indonesia’s infrastructure sector during the post-pandemic recovery period and supports capital structure and trade-off theories in the context of emerging markets.

Abstract

This study examines how learning interest and the learning environment influence students’ academic achievement in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at UPT SPF SD Inpres Panaikang II/1, Makassar. Education serves a vital role in shaping knowledgeable and morally grounded learners, and in PAI, success is determined by both internal and external factors. Despite existing research on these variables, studies focusing specifically on PAI at the elementary level remain limited. Preliminary observations revealed low interest in PAI and an insufficiently supportive learning environment, underscoring the need for empirical investigation. Using a quantitative descriptive design, data were gathered through observation, questionnaires, and documentation from 38 purposively selected fifth-grade students. Analytical procedures included instrument testing, multiple linear regression, and significance testing. Results show that students’ learning interest falls within a good category, the learning environment is considered high, and academic achievement in PAI is very good. Simultaneous testing indicates that learning interest and the learning environment together significantly influence academic achievement. However, partial analysis reveals that learning interest does not have a significant standalone effect, whereas the learning environment exerts a significant positive influence. The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.243) indicates that both variables account for 24.3% of the variance in academic outcomes. The findings highlight the dominant role of external conditions in shaping PAI achievement. Enhancing supportive and interactive learning environments, supported by teacher initiatives and parental involvement, is essential for improving student performance. This study contributes to empirical understanding of the determinants of PAI learning success in elementary education.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of differentiated learning through the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach in the 5th-grade science subject at SDN Lenteng Agung 07 Pagi. The study used a quantitative descriptive method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation with the 5th-grade science teacher and all students. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to assess the implementation of differentiation across four main aspects: content, process, product, and learning environment. The results showed that all 14 indicators of differentiated learning were implemented 100%. Teachers adjust the material based on diagnostic assessments, carry out different learning activities according to students' abilities, provide a variety of learning product formats, and create a flexible and inclusive learning environment. The conclusion of the research states that the TaRL approach is implemented very well because all elements of differentiation are fully achieved, making science learning more adaptive, equitable, and capable of meeting the learning needs of each student.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis transformasi peran Balian dalam masyarakat Dayak Ma’ayan di Kabupaten Barito Timur di tengah tantangan modernisasi dan pluralisme agama. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode etnografi, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana Balian beradaptasi serta mempertahankan relevansinya di tengah perubahan sosial-keagamaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Balian tidak lenyap, melainkan bertransformasi menjadi agen utama sinkretisme keagamaan yang secara pragmatis mengintegrasikan kepercayaan tradisional dengan agama-agama formal, terutama Kristen dan Islam, untuk mengisi ruang spiritual masyarakat. Posisi sosial Balian juga menunjukkan variasi yang signifikan: mereka tetap dihormati dalam komunitas pedalaman, tetapi cenderung termarginalisasi di wilayah urban, di mana stratifikasi sosial lebih banyak ditentukan oleh modal ekonomi dan pendidikan formal. Tradisi Balian memperlihatkan ketahanan budaya yang kuat, berfungsi sebagai pilar penting dalam negosiasi identitas budaya Dayak Ma’ayan di era kontemporer. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa Balian bukanlah peninggalan masa lalu, melainkan institusi budaya yang dinamis dan resilien, yang terus memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk tatanan sosial dan religius masyarakat Dayak.
