Abstract

The research was carried out in people's coffee plantations at 4 locations at different altitudes in Simalungun Regency. The aim of the research was to determine the intensity of attacks by the coffee berry borer Hypothenemus hampei Ferr on land at different altitudes, and to determine the effectiveness of synthetic attractant traps to control it. The research method used a series design (randomized design series groups), which was carried out on coffee plantations at altitudes of 550, 850, 1,000 and 1,150 meters above sea level. At each plantation location, in an effort to control Hypothenemus hampei Ferr attacks, 3 (three) types of synthetic attractant traps were installed: Hypotan 500 SL, Koptan and Atrakop 500 L. The results of the research showed that the intensity of Hypothenemus hampei Ferr attacks tended to decrease in coffee plantation locations. higher above sea level and vice versa. The attractant types Hypotan 500 SL, Koptan and Atrakop 500 L showed no significant difference in effectiveness for trapping the coffee berry borer Hypothenemus hampei Ferr. However, these 3 types of attractants have not been able to reduce the intensity of attacks from puso, heavy and moderate categories to light attack categories.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research conducted in class V SD Gugus Wijaya Kusuma. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Digital Learning Media on the Moivation and Learning Outcomes of students in IPAS lessons in class V. In this study researchers focused on social studies subjects. In the study, three variables were analyzed, namely two independent variables and one dependent variable. Pupulations and samples of this study were 59 students. Data collection techniques through interview techniques, observation and questionnaire distribution and also secondary data. Data analysis in this study was carried out by testing validity, reliability, classical assumptions, and hypotheses. In testing the hypothesis of this study conducted by means of t test to get the influence between variables X1 to Y, X2 to Y. The results of the research that has been done found that, from the results of the t test coefficients of media on motivation, the significance value is 0.000 <0.05, meaning that there is an influence of media on learning motivation. From the results of the t test Constant media on motivation obtained R Square value of 0.452 means that the media variable affects student learning motivation by 45.2% and the rest is influenced by other factors. From the results of the t test media coefficients on the results of a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 means that there is an influence of the media on learning outcomes. From the results of the t test Constant media on the results obtained R Square value of 0.202. This means that the media variable affects student learning outcomes by 20.2% and the rest is influenced by other factors. Based on the results of data analysis, it means that digital learning media has an effect on the motivation and learning outcomes of fifth grade students in social studies lessons in Wijaya Kusuma Gugus.

Abstract

Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) is one of the main subjects at the elementary school level, where to achieve maximum results in learning IPAS, it requires active student involvement during learning activities. However, the low understanding of teachers about current technology makes it difficult for students to understand the subject matter due to the limited use of learning media. Therefore, researchers want to develop an android-based digital teaching material that can be used by students wherever they are and can be used repeatedly. Researchers used the Research and Development (RnD) research type using the ADDIE model. This study aims to produce android-based digital teaching materials assisted by articulate storyline 3 on the subject matter of IPAS material oh environment so damaged for Class V Elementary School with valid, practical and effective qualifications. The validation results of android-based digital teaching materials obtained a material validation percentage of 95% with very feasible qualifications, 75% media validation with feasible qualifications, and obtained practitioner validation of 100% with very feasible qualifications. The practicality of android-based digital teaching materials obtained a student response questionnaire percentage value of 88% with very good qualifications. The effectiveness of the media is reviewed from the results of students' pretests and postests with a medium N-gain value so that it can be concluded that android-based digital teaching materials are effective.

Abstract

Classroom learning that is only limited to listening, doing assignments, and only focusing on books and teachers causes the learning process to be passive. This results in low achievement of learning outcomes and lack of learning motivation in students. The purpose of this study is to explore the impact of using a canva-based problem-based learning model on the motivation and learning outcomes of grade V students in IPAS subjects at SDN Tugurejo 01. This study adopted a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method using a nonequivalent control group research design. Data collection was done through observation, tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed a significant difference in learning outcomes and student motivation between the use of a canva-based problem-based learning model and conventional teacher-centered learning. Hypothesis testing using independent T-test shows the significance value of learning outcomes is 0.004, which means <0.05, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Similarly, in learning motivation, the Sig (2-tailed) value is 0.031, which means <0.05, meaning H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the canva-based problem-based learning model has a positive influence on student motivation and learning outcomes in class V IPAS subjects at SDN Tugurejo 01.

Abstract

Inappropriate use of learning media in learning process activities can cause uninteresting learning. This study aims to develop website-based learning media using Google Sites in the Natural and social sciences subject biodiversity material in grade V elementary school. The research method used is Research and Development with the ADDIE development model. The subjects in this study were media experts, material, teachers, and 21 fifth-grade elementary school students. Data collection is used in the form of test techniques and non-test techniques. The test techniques used are pretest and posttest, while non-test techniques include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. In the data analysis process, the normality test, t-test, and N-Gain test methods were used, which were carried out with SPSS 23 software. The results of the study presented a validation test by media experts getting a score of 91%, while the validation test by material experts got a score of 92%, with a very feasible category. The t-test results on the small group trial presented a sig. (2-tailed) of 0.008. while in the large group trial, the t-test presents a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.000. The results of the N-Gain Test in the small group and large group trials showed an increase in value of 0.60 and 0.55 which was in the medium category. This shows an average increase between pretest and posttest scores. From these results, it is concluded that website-based learning media using Google Sites is very feasible and effective in improving student learning outcomes related to the biodiversity material in grade V elementary school.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of analyzing and testing the influence of interactive learning media on science learning outcomes and the influence of interactive learning media on students' learning motivation. The interactive media in question is Microsoft Power Point media. This study uses a quantitative method with an ex post facto approach. The population taken was from four schools, namely SDI Miftahul Hikmah, SDIT Permata, SDN Sooko 1 and SDN Gayaman. Based on the results of observations, the four schools have implemented interactive learning media and have the same accreditation and facilities. The research sample was taken from class V with a total of 167 students. The data collection technique used a questionnaire method, a method of documenting students' semester science scores and an interview method for the initial study. The data analysis technique used simple regression analysis. The results of the analysis showed that the Interactive Learning variable (X) had a significant influence on Learning Outcomes (Y1) with a sig value of 0.000 <0.05, R Square of 70.50%, and an F test of 0.000 <0.05; The Interactive Learning variable (X) has an influence on Learning Motivation (Y2) with a mean value of 89.2, a median of 90, where the KKM value for each school is 70.
