Abstract

Potensi ekonomi digital Indonesia dianggap sangat besar, akan tetapi tidak dapat terwujud tanpa adanya ketersediaan sumber daya manusia yang terampil dan berpengetahuan luas. Menyadari kebutuhan akan tenaga kerja yang memiliki keterampilan digital sangat besar, Kominfo telah menunjukkan perhatiannya terhadap masalah ini sejak awal dan telah berkolaborasi dengan berbagai pihak dalam program Digital Talent, Siber Creation, Digital Talent Scholarship, dan Digital Leadership Academy. Program Talent Scouting Academy (TSA) adalah salah satu akademi pada program Digital Talent Scholarship (DTS). TSA adalah peningkatan kompetensi dan pemberian kesempatan sertifikasi global bagi mahasiswa tingkat akhir yang terseleksi. Dengan mengikuti program Pelatihan Talent Scouting Academy (TSA) - Master Card Academy diharapkan guru-guru PPG BDP yang ada di Jawa Barat dapat berperan sebagai mentor yang mengantarkan siswa siswa menjadi sumber daya manusia yang terampil dalam berwirausaha dan dan memiliki keterampilan digital yang baik

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic have a negative impact on economic growth, including Indonesia. The tourism sector is one of the various sectors that have a negative impact on current conditions. Green Canyon is a reliable tourist destination in Kabupaten Karawang with a complete agreement of beauty and uniqueness. The role of social media in increasing business is a surefire strategy in increasing the number of visits. This research aims to determine the partial and simultaneous effect of Electronic Word Of Mouth and Viral Marketing on Interest in Visiting People on Instagram at Green Canyon Nature Tourism, Kabupaten Karawang. This research was conducted using quantitative descriptive. The samples used as many as 130 respondents using simple random sampling technique. Data analysis used was multiple regression with the help of SPSS application. The results of this research indicate that: Electronic Word Of Mouth and viral marketing on interest in visiting have agreed criteria based on the results and answers of respondents. Electronic Word Of Mouth and viral marketing on Visiting Interests have an effect partially or simultaneously.

Abstract

Digital technology has revolutionized the tourism sector, leading to the emergence of digital-native tourists who prefer tech-savvy experiences. Smart tourism initiatives leverage information and communication technologies to offer personalized and interactive experiences, aligning with the preferences of digital natives. This study employs a literature review approach to explore the influence of smart tourism on the travel behavior of digital native tourists. Findings reveal a significant research gap in understanding how smart tourism initiatives specifically resonate with digital native behaviors. Digital natives, characterized by their digital fluency, exhibit distinct preferences influenced by their immersion in technology. Smart tourism technologies are crucial in predicting digital natives' destination choices and visit intentions. Understanding this dynamic is crucial for the tourism industry to meet the evolving needs of digital native tourists. Leveraging innovative technologies and tailored strategies can enhance visitor satisfaction, operational efficiency, and sustainability in the tourism sector, ultimately shaping the future of smart tourism experiences.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan implementasi model 7 TOP kewirausahaan dalam pengembangan UMKM di masa pandemi. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode implementasi dilakukan berdasarkan kurikulum 7 TOP Kewirausahaan OKOCE terhadap 100 pelaku UMKM mahasiswa di Fakultas Pendidikan Ekonomi dan Bisnis, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia sebagai katalis utama penggerak ekonomi kreatif dan khususnya pada program MBKM kewirausahaan. Kegiatan implementasi dilakukan selama empat bulan dengan mengintegrasikan tahapan P1-P7 ke dalam mata kuliah berbasis kewirausahaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa implementasi model 7 TOP memberikan dampak positif bagi UMKM. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa implementasi model 7 TOP Kewirausahaan pada UMKM berjalan optimal, meskipun dilaksanakan di masa pandemi, implementasi ini memberikan dampak bagi UMKM khususnya dalam kaitanya dengan pembelajaran kewirausahaan, penguatan bisnis dan mentoring.

Abstract

This study investigates how business actors' entrepreneurial orientation and rationality affect MSMEs' performance, as well as how the availability of financing affects that performance. Using a random sampling technique, we surveyed 195 MSMEs from various business fields. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling and AMOS and SPSS software. We discovered that the mediation of entrepreneurial orientation and decision-making rationality significantly impacted the relationship between financial availability and performance. Adequate funding encourages an entrepreneurial mindset and the development of innovations that improve overall performance. The study suggests that business actors improve their capabilities, including managerial skills, practices, and procedures in the financial sector. When adequate funds are available, they could be used to improve performance. The study adds to the dynamic capability theory by demonstrating that MSMEs must be able to integrate, construct, and reconfigure their financial resources in the face of rapid environmental changes.

Abstract

Research aims: This study aims to examine the influence of market pressure on green strategy and green production while also looking at its impact on MSMEs' sustainability. The authors also investigate the indirect influence of market pressure on green production through the mediating role of green strategy.Design/Methodology/Approach: This study was carried out on batik craft, fashion, and convection MSMEs oriented to the green concept in West Java Province, with a number of samples of 185 MSMEs. The data obtained were then analyzed using the structural equation modeling technique with SmartPLS software.Research findings: The results of this study demonstrated the positive influence of market pressure on green strategy and green production, and both influenced MSMEs' sustainability. Furthermore, green strategy has been proven to have a positive influence on green production and could mediate the influence of market pressure on green production.Theoretical Contribution/Originality: This study contributes to the literature by widening the antecedent of green strategy, green production, and MSMEs sustainability from the external side, namely market pressure, which is rarely elaborated.Practitioners/Policy Implications: Managers and owners of batik craft, fashion, and convection MSMEs must prepare themselves to answer the calls for sustainability that come from their stakeholders, such as the market and government. Green strategy and green production must be incorporated into their business to achieve sustainability.Research Limitations/Implications: This study has not yet considered the existence of moderating variables, such as firm size, government regulation, or organizational competitiveness. These additional variables can be a sign for firms to understand when the time is to implement their strategy to achieve sustainability according to the underlying conditions of the moderators.

Abstract

Performance measurement of local government in Indonesia needs to be improved as demanded by the central government. Based on institutional theory, there are three factors that influence the quality of local government performance measurement, namely technical knowledge, management commitment, and resources. This study examines the effect of those factors on the quality of local government performance measurements in the province of West Java. Respondents in this study were the head of regional government agency. Using PLS-SEM, result of this research prove that there is a positive and significant influence of those three factors on the quality of local government performance measurement. These findings provide practical contributions as a guide in improving the quality of performance measurement. Future research needs to expand the scope of the observation area, combine subjective and objective scales of the quality performance measurement variables, and develop other variables based on contingency, agency, and dynamic capabilities theory.

Abstract

Organizations increasingly rely on knowledge creation and human development for optimal and sustainable growth. Employee engagement is a significant construct that touches almost all aspects of human resource management as we know it today. This study aimed to examine the effect of organizational climate on employee involvement in the manufacturing industry sector in the Karawang Industrial Estate, West Java, Indonesia. The population in this study is a Manufacturing Company in the Karawang Industrial Estate, Indonesia. The intended respondents are Managers or Supervisors in the company with 75 respondents. The analytical technique used in this research is partial least square (PLS-SEM). The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant effect of the two variables studied on Organizational Performance. Abstract

Digital transformation is a trend and a necessity to survive in the current pandemic era. The banking industry as an industry that is required to be very responsive and fundamentally also needs to carry out digital transformation. Regional Development Banks have their own challenges in executing their strategies because they have a function as agents of regional development but on the other hand have to compete with commercial banks. The BPD that has carried out a digital transformation is Bank BJB. From the literature study, it was found that digital transformation has an influence on company performance and on innovation. This study examines the effect of digital transformation and innovation on the performance of BJB Bank. Respondents in this study were the leaders of the 65 branch offices of Bank BJB in Indonesia. This study uses PLS-SEM and proves that there is a positive and significant effect of digital transformation and innovation on company performance. These findings provide a practical contribution as a guide for the banking industry in efforts to improve its performance through a digital transformation strategy. Future research will need to expand the population to other banks, combine a firm's perspective with consumer acceptance (for example using innovation acceptance models such as TAM, DOI, UTAUT, and others), and examine the factors that influence digital transformation itself. Keywords: Digital Transformation, Innovation, Firm performance, Regional Development Banks Transformasi digital merupakan tren dan kebutuhan untuk bertahan di era pandemi saat ini. Industri perbankan sebagai salah satu industri yang dituntut untuk sangat responsif dan sifatnya fundamental juga perlu melakukan transformasi digital. Bank Pembangunan Daerah memiliki tantangan tersendiri dalam menjalankan strateginya karena memiliki fungsi sebagai agen pembangunan daerah namun di sisi lain harus bersaing dengan bank umum. BPD yang telah melakukan transformasi digital yaitu Bank BJB. Dari studi literatur didapati bahwa transformasi digital memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja perusahaan dan terhadap inovasi. Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh transformasi digital dan inovasi terhadap kinerja Bank BJB. Responden dalam penelitian ini yaitu pimpinan dari 65 kantor cabang Bank BJB di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan PLS-SEM dan membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari transformasi digital dan inovasi terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi praktis sebagai panduan bagi industri perbankan dalam upaya peningkatan kinerjanya melalui strategi transformasi digital. Penelitian mendatang perlu untuk memperluas populasi kepada bank lain, menggabungkan sudut pandang perusahaan dengan penerimaan di sisi konsumen (misalkan menggunakan model penerimaan inovasi seperti TAM, DOI, UTAUT, dan lainnya), serta menelaah faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi transformasi digital itu sendiri. Abstract

The study seeks to develop a relationship between Emotional Solidarity (ES) and the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) in predicting visitors’ behavioral intentions to attend leisure events in Ghana. ES Scale (ESS) modified with Tourism Impact Attitude Scale was employed. The data used IBM SPSS 25.0 and SmartPLS 3.3.9 for analysis. The hypotheses were explored using PLS-SEM. ES factors significantly positively affect visitors’ attitudes towards tourism development. The TPB significantly predicted the behavioral intentions of leisure event visitors. The study specifically suggests the promotion of tourism development with high perceived behavioral control, individual attitude, and subjective norms.
