Abstract

The basic problems faced by UPPKS in Semarang are as follows (Jateng Pos, 2019): 1) Many group businesses do not develop and "die" in the middle of the process, 2) They do not have information on forms and access to capital, 3) They have not been able to manage the existing UPPKS capital, 4) Management has not been able to run the organization well, 5) The group has an organizational structure but does not have activities, 6) Business activities are still independent and not well organized. Thus, the existing UPPKS is not functioning properly. However, the UPPKS is expected to create jobs, especially in the era of the demographic bonus. The UPPKS problems can fail to capture the demographic bonus because it has not been able to develop its members' businesses. This can result in people not being attracted to become members of the UPPKS. Specifically, this study aims to describe: 1) the strategic factors that exist in UPPKS in facing the demographic bonus era 2) the potential for developing business performance in facing the demographic bonus 3) the strategies of business performance development for UPPKS in facing the demographic bonus. This study used the descriptive exploratory approach by analyzing the UPPKS performance strategy. This study is the survey at the UPPKS in Semarang. The population of this study is the management of the UPPKS group in Semarang. The UPPKS sample was determined by purposive sampling. The number of samples of UPPKS management is 16 people representing 16 sub-districts in Semarang. The steps taken in this study are as follows: 1) identifying the strategic factors related to the development of UPPKS performance, 2) factors will be analyzed by using SWOT analysis. The attributes used in the questionnaire were obtained from the perceptions of stakeholders and UPPKS, which in general included attributes of internal conditions consisting of strengths and weaknesses as well as external conditions of UPPKS, which consisted of opportunities and threats. This study produced output in the form of the performance development strategy at UPPKS, namely growth with concentration through horizontal integration.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to investigate the effect of competence, work environment, communication and person organization fit on employee performance at the Freight Forwarder Company-PT. Ridho Trans Jaya Semarang. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis. The population as well as the sample of this research are all employees of PT. Ridho Trans Semarang, totaling 43 employees. Questionnaires were used to obtain research data. The results of testing the coefficient of total determination showed that 50.4% of the changes in the dependent variable could be explained by independent variables, while the remaining 49.6% was explained by other variables outside the study. The results showed that each variable, namely competence, work environment, communication and person organization fit partially had a significant influence on employee performance. The value of the coefficient of determination adjusted R square is obtained at 76.8% which indicates that 76.8 percent of employee performance variables can be explained by the variables of competence, work environment, communication and person organization fit.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation, compensation, workload and work environment on employee performance at PT. SDN. This study uses a quantitative research method. The independent variables in this study are motivation, compensation, workload, and work environment, while the dependent variable is employee performance. Sampling in this study using saturated samples, amounting to 58 people. Sampling technique with probability sampling. Data collection using a questionnaire. The analysis used includes descriptive data analysis, quantitative data analysis, validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study found that: (1) Motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. SDN. (2) Compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. SDN (3) Workload has a negative and significant effect on employee performance at PT. SDN. (4) The work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. SDN. The discussion, conclusions and suggestions are described in this article. Abstract

This study seeks to investigate the determinants of vehicle taxpayer compliance motorized in Semarang based on attribution theory and learning theory. The sample is 100 motor vehicle taxpayers in Semarang. Using multiple linear regression equation modeling, this study shows that the factors: knowledge and understanding of taxpayers, taxpayer awareness, services quality and tax sanctions effect motor vehicle taxpayer compliance in Semarang. Other findings indicate that the taxpayer awareness factor is the biggest factor in effect motor vehicle taxpayer compliance in Semarang. Keywords: knowledge, understanding, awareness, service

Abstract

The purpose of this PKM is to provide training on business management and counseling on the importance of a brand for the production so that the product is more widely known to the market. The main problem of partners is ignorance about how to do a good business starting from planning, implementation to marketing and also not knowing the importance of a brand for a product. The solution offered is the provision of training on business management, the legality mechanism of business licenses. The output of the activity to be achieved so that partners can develop the business accompanied by adequate legality of establishment, so that business operations can take place according to existing provisions, the results of the training can support the business success of business actors in the Genuksari Village and have been successfully implemented. This was proven by the enthusiasm of the trainees to follow and discuss (including the question and answer process) routinely.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemilikan manajerial, kebijakan dividen dan manajemen laba terhadap nilai perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan 32 sampel perusahaan sub sektor farmasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama tahun 2015-2018. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linier berganda. Data yang berupa data sekunder diperoleh dari website Bursa Efek Indonesia berupa laporan keuangan tahunan. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan kepemilikan manajerial dan Kebijakan dividen tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. Manajemen laba berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. Nilai Adjusted R Square sebesar 31,2% berarti sebanyak 68,8% dijelaskan oleh factor-faktor lain yang tidak disertakan dalam model penelitian ini. Faktor-faktor lain tersebut antara lain : kepemilikan institusional, kebijakan hutang, keputusan investasi, struktur modal dan lainnya.

Abstract

This study examines and analyzes the effect of experience, expertise, audit situation, ethics, and legal certainty on auditors' professional skepticism. The sample of this research is auditors who work at a public accounting firm in Central Java Province. Samples were taken using the non-probability sampling method, using the purposive sampling technique with 104 auditors as respondents. The analysis method used is PLS analysis. The research results show that experience and ethics affect the professional skepticism of auditors, while expertise, audit situation, and legal certainty do not affect the professional skepticism of auditors. The results of this study are expected to maintain the professional skepticism of auditors in evaluating critical audit evidence.

Abstract

The research objective is to develop optimal distinctive open innovation (ODOI) concepts, propositions and indicators as well as to test them empirically. ODOI was formed using a synthesis method of two concepts, namely optimal characteristics, derivatives of social identity theory, and open innovation derived from innovation theory. Quantitative empirical testing using SEM on primary data, the PTS lecturers in the LLDIKTI VI Central Java environment were 190 respondents. The test results show that ODOI is able to mediate the effect of innovative work behaviour on improving employee work performance. Innovative work behavior has an effect on increasing ODOI and has an effect on improving employee work performance. ODOI has an effect on improving employee work performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of financial literacy and financial attitudes on financial behaviour with the locus of control as a mediation. This study uses primary data and secondary data and uses the purposive sampling method in taking the sample, as many as 89 Postgraduate Students of the Management Study Program, University of Semarang. Data analysis using PLS (Partial Least Square). This study resulted: in financial literacy and financial attitudes having a positive and significant impact on financial behaviour and locus of control is proven as a mediating variable between the influence of financial literacy and financial attitudes on financial behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of competence, motivation, education on satisfaction and the effect of competence, motivation, education on performance and satisfaction on performance. The research method uses quantitative methods and the sample consists of 96 people consisting of employees who graduated from the University of Semarang who graduated a maximum of 3 years. The analytical tool used is SEM - PLS. The result of the analysis is that competence has no effect on satisfaction, but does affect performance. Motivation and education affect satisfaction and performance, and satisfaction affects performance.
