Abstract

This study aims to further explain how the application of sharia principles in sharia mutual funds and their development. This research uses a qualitative method with content analysis, namely research that is carried out in depth on the object under study and uses secondary data or literature/library studies as a technique in research to obtain research results. This research is also analytical descriptive in nature, namely research that provides a clear and detailed description of the object being studied. The results of the research are based on the mechanism, Islamic mutual funds are managed according to Islamic principles, managed by investment managers, are transparent in terms of investment diversification and are guaranteed and supervised by related institutions (OJK) so that it can be concluded that Islamic mutual funds have implemented Islamic principles in their management mechanisms. However, the development of sharia mutual funds continues to experience ups and downs. From 2018 to 2021, the number of sharia mutual funds has increased. However, the Net Asset Value (NAV) of sharia mutual funds in 2018-2022 has experienced a drastic decline. Sharia mutual funds throughout 2022 will continue to experience a periodic decline both in terms of the number of Islamic mutual funds and in terms of Net Asset Value (NAV). When compared between Islamic mutual funds and conventional mutual funds, Islamic mutual funds are still far behind conventional mutual funds. Conventional mutual funds are far superior to Islamic mutual funds. At the end of 2022, the number of sharia mutual funds is only 274, while the number of conventional mutual funds is 1,846. The Net Asset Value (NAV) of sharia mutual funds is 40,605.11 (in billions of rupiah) while that of conventional mutual funds is 464,257.31 (in billions of rupiah).

Abstract

The development of the stock market is currently very developed along with the advancement of technology today. It can be seen that many people have used technology such as the internet. Making the stock market buzz even bigger. And also led to the emergence of many companies / new entrepreneurs. And also with the many companies and new entrepreneurs, they have to join the stock market. Because the participation of these companies makes them benefit by obtaining additional funds for their companies so that their companies can expand their companies so that they are known to the public. corners of the world. However, this was hampered due to the Covid-19 pandemic in early 2020 until the June 2022 period. During that time the stock market in Indonesia was very, very damaged, because of the pandemic. There were many restrictions on economic transactions that caused the economy to collapse. Many companies have experienced losses and even bankruptcy because of the effects of this pandemic. Because of this, the government also took economic policies, namely, by implementing fiscal and monetary policies, which are expected to make good reforms for the Indonesian economy

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine or find out the strength of the local economy and the strategies that encourage the development of Aek Sijorni's ecotourism potential. This research uses a qualitative approach method. The type of data used in this research is primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques through interviews, documentation. The informant in this research was Arif Firmansyah as Chair of the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) of Aek Sijorni Tourism Village. The data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data presentation and drawing qualitative descriptive conclusions. The research results stated that the Aek Sijorni Tourism Village had gone through planning management. The strength of the local economy in the Aek Sijorni Tourism Village, the community carries out economic activities by opening stalls, tourist rides, travel agencies and so on. A strategy that can encourage Aek Sijorni's ecotourism potential is to use a planning approach. The first is planning to develop facilities and infrastructure such as building access to tourist attractions, building new outbound rides, and other supporting facilities. The two human resource institutional plans for this program improve the quality of human resources. The program is held regularly in the form of Pokdarwis training. Third, with tourism marketing planning so that it is known to the wider community.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the application of the As Salam contract in the purchasing system of garlic between retail traders and importers in Medan, Indonesia. Research Methodology: The research utilizes a qualitative approach, employing observation and structured interviews with key participants in the garlic trading industry. The instruments include interview guides and observational checklists to gather detailed insights into the contract negotiation and execution process. Results: The findings indicate that the trading practice involves detailed contract agreements, including specific terms on quantity, quality, and delivery schedules. The principles of the As Salam contract are strictly adhered to, ensuring clarity and minimizing the potential for disputes. Prepayment is an integral part of the contract, facilitating efficient stock planning and delivery logistics. Limitations: The study is limited to the garlic trade within the Medan region, which may restrict the broader applicability of the findings to other commodities or regions. Contribution: This research contributes to the discipline of Islamic economics by providing practical insights into the implementation of As Salam contracts in commodity trading, offering a model for ensuring fairness and transparency in accordance with Islamic law.

Abstract

This paper examines the impact of Islamic finance, economic growth, and globalization (economic, social, political, and overall aspects) on carbon dioxide emissions in 4 countries for the period 2015-2020. Employing the System GMM estimation method, which fulfills criteria for model unbiasedness, validity, and consistency. Findings reveal that Islamic finance, economic growth, and globalization simultaneously contribute to increasing and decreasing carbon dioxide emissions with a significance level of 0.010. Partially, Islamic finance and globalization’s overall aspect in short or long term contribute to a decrease in carbon dioxide emissions with a significance level of 0.010. Meanwhile, economic growth and globalization in economic, social, or political aspects in short or long term contribute to an increase in carbon dioxide emissions with a significance level of 0.010. This scientific article provides a new contribution to the research results that have been obtained with a significance level of 0.010 or 99 per cent confidence level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan sistem informasi akuntansi dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pengendalian internal persediaan barang dagang pada PT.Ciomas Adistwa Deli Serdang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sistem informasi akuntansi dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pengendalian internal persediaan barang dagang oleh PT.Ciomas Adistwa Deli Serdang telah berjalan dengan baik yang dilihat dari fungsi yang terkait, dokumen yang digunakan, prosedur yang dilaksanakan, yang terkait dengan pengendalian internal dan sudah sesuai dengan SOP. Sistem yang digunakan perusahaan mampu mengendalikan pemakaian persediaan barang maupun permintaan pembelian barang.

Abstract

The Balanced Scorecard is a process that allows companies to evaluate strategies based on four perspectives. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of measuring the company's performance with the concept of balance scorecard using financial perspective, customer perspective, internal business perspective and growth and learning perspective of PT. BRILife Syariah Branch Gatot Subroto. This research is a quantitative research, and the source of data obtained is secondary data using annual financial statements in accordance with the variables used during the period (2019-2020). Population as many as 50 respondents customers and 35 respondents employees at PT. BRILife Syariah Branch Gatot Subroto. Using multiple linear regression analysis, with the results that the financial perspective persial effect on performance measurement, customer perspective has no effect on performance measurement, internal business perspective has no effect on performance measurement and growth and learning perspective has no effect on performance measurement. So that the financial perspective, customer perspective, internal business perspective and growth and learning perspectives simultaneously affect performance measurement. With a coefficient of determination (R square) of 1,000% which means financial perspective, customer perspective, internal business perspective and growth and learning perspective can explain 100% of the performance measurement of BRILife Syariah Gatot Subroto Branch.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the influence of the ability and discipline of work on employee performance at PT. Bank Sumut Branch Medan Sukaramai. The population in this study is all employees at PT. Bank Sumut Branch Medan Sukaramai totaling 78 employees. The research samples were taken using saturated sampling technique where the entire population is used as a sample. The study was conducted from January to February 2022. The study used quantitative data processed with SPSS. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression model. The results of this study showed that the ability and discipline of work positive and significant effect both partially and simultaneously on the performance of employees at PT. Bank Sumut Branch Medan Sukaramai. T test shows the ability to have t count of 4.833 and significant of 0.000, and work discipline has t count of 8.401 and significant of 0.000. F test shows the value of F calculated obtained at 47.359 and significant at 0.000. The most dominant variable affecting employee performance is the variable of work discipline and ability. Determination test results showed 54.6% of employee performance at PT. Bank Sumut Branch Medan Sukaramai can be explained and obtained from the ability and discipline of work while the rest of the other factors.

Abstract

The Plantation Service has the task of recognizing the administration of local government/state authorities in the fields of plantation production, plantation protection, plantation management, plantation management tools, and supporting tasks. The Plantation Service is an element of regional autonomy for the state government and is led by a Head of Service who reports to the governor and is responsible to the governor through the state secretary. The implementation of these activities is certainly not without problems. The most common problems are delays and non-execution of planned activities. However, risks can be unpredictable and unpredictable. These risks can be managed by identifying and quantifying the risks that may occur. The purpose of this study is to determine the various risks in carrying out activities to prepare statistical data and information, as well as determine the value that will be realized after being identified based on the potential and magnitude of the impact. The analytical method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. The research method used in this survey is a qualitative survey which describes statistical data on the implementation and editing activities of plantation information in 2020 data (n-1), and financial data is explained by qualitative explanations. As a result of this research, each element of risk should be assigned to the party who has the best control over the risk. In other words, 1) the district and Manban plantation statistics coordinators do not change every year, so they are easy to learn. Plantation data. 2) Organization of more intense socialization. 3) Human resource development. District statistician in charge of plantations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that affect consumptive behavior in online shopping in E-Commerce (Case Study of FEBI Uinsu students), while the independent variables in this study are motivation, lifestyle and advertising. This study uses primary data, with multiple linear regression data analysis method with SPSS tool.15.The respondents in this study amounted to 1001 people, using the sampling method with purposive sampling technique. Based on the results of the first hypothesis test, it is known that the significant value of motivation is 0.001 < 0.05 with a calculated t value of -3.348 < 1.985. The second hypothesis test showed the significance of lifestyle of 0.014 < 0.05 with a calculated t value of 9,254 > 1,985.
