Abstract

This study aims to examine how the welfare of oil palm farmers in Labuhan Batu Regency is affected by prices, productivity, and Islamic financial behavior. The research employs multiple linear analysis and a quantitative descriptive approach. A total of 1,167 farmers participated, with a sample size of 80, determined using probability sampling. Primary data were gathered through a Likert-scale survey, while secondary data were sourced from books, journals, and prior studies. The results indicate that the F-test significance value is 0.000 0.05, and the independent factors explain 65.7% of the variance in farmers' welfare. The findings suggest that favorable prices and strong productivity improve income and ensure ample harvests. Islamic financial behavior supports sound financial management, allowing farmers to meet social obligations such as zakat while enhancing financial planning skills. In conclusion, the combination of price, productivity, and Islamic financial behavior fosters a positive environment for improving the welfare of oil palm farmers in Labuhan Batu.

Abstract

Human resources are resources that play an important role in achieving company goals. Good human resource management will have a positive impact on the company concerned. This research was conducted to determine the effect of Work- Life Balance on job satisfaction and employee performance at Bank BSI KCP Medan Adam Malik. This type of research is explanatory research, which focuses on explaining the relationship between variables, namely the independent variable, namely work-life balance (X), the dependent variable, namely job satisfaction (Y1) and employee performance (Y2). The respondents in this research were all 36 employees of Bank BSI KCP Medan Adam Malik. The data collection method was carried out through distributing questionnaires as a primary source and literature study as a secondary source. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that work-life balance has a significant effect on job satisfaction and work-life balance has an effect on the performance of Bank BSI KCP Medan Adam Malik employees. Apart from that, work-life balance influences employee performance through job satisfaction of Bank BSI KCP Medan Adam Malik employees.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Influence of Money Supply, Inflation and Rupiah Exchange Rate on Murabahah Financing Margin in Indonesia Sharia Banks throughout Indonesia from 2013-2022. The type of research conducted is quantitative research. The method used in this study used the analysis of the Vector Auto Regression model of the VECM model and a data tool processed using Eviews 10. The data used is secondary data taken through the official website of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) for a period of 10 (ten) years from 2013-2022. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the results of the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) test of this study show that only the variables of the Money Supply and the Rupiah Exchange Rate have a positive and significant impact, while the influence of the Inflation variable on Murabahah Financing Margin (Case Study of Bank Syariah Indonesia in 2013-2022) in the short term has a positive and insignificant impact. The Effect of Money Supply and Inflation on Murabahah Financing Margin has a positive and significant impact, while the influence of the Rupiah Exchange Rate variable on Murabahah Financing Margin in the long term has a negative and insignificant impact.

Abstract

Roles can be defined as unique behaviors that represent the characteristics of each individual in a work group or social environment that has a major influence on events. In terms of improving the quality of performance of Krakatau North Sumatra branch office, this will be achieved through continuous improvement of the quality of human resources, who always strive to improve the level and quality of services to meet the needs and expectations of the community. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of management on the quality of employee performance at PT Bank Sumut in Krakatau Medan City Branch Office. The sample used is a saturation sample, taking all members of the population as a sample of 13 employees. The data collection method used is interviews, the role of HR management in employee performance indicators is found through a literature study, the indicators used include work systems and structures, work quality, collaboration creativity. The results of the study indicate that (1) HR management has a significant effect on the quality of the performance of PT Bank Sumut Krakatau Medan City Branch Office; (2) work quality has a significant effect on the quality of employee performance at PT Bank Sumut Krakatau Medan City Branch Office; while (3) obstacles or constraints has simultaneously affected the quality of employee performance at PT Bank Sumut Krakatau Medan City Branch Office.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate and analyze the tofu product strategy employed by Budi in response to business competition. The study was conducted at Tahu Budi Household Industry, an MSME located in Deli Serdang Regency. A qualitative approach was employed to gather and analyze the data, primarily consisting of Budi's competitive strategy, obtained through interviews with the business owners. Data collection techniques involved observation, interviews, and documentation. Porter's Five Forces of Competition Theory was utilized as the analytical tool for assessing the competitive strategy. The findings indicate that Tahu Budi can compete with its rivals regarding price, product quality, promotion, and distribution. In order to sustain their operations, they need to streamline production costs and enhance their marketing integration, as adaptable businesses thrive amidst environmental changes. Public interest statements This research is highly relevant for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in any industry, particularly the home industry of tofu production, as it explores effective competitive strategies that can contribute to their sustainability.

Abstract

Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) living behavior and JKT48 fan behavior are examined in this study. The research examines how FoMO living affects JKT48 members' financial choices and how Islamic principles affect their financial management. Qualitative phenomenological research is used. Interviews with JKT48 fans, the study subjects, are used to acquire data about Islamic FoMO living habits. Purposive sampling identified informants, and interviews, observations, and documentation gathered data. Data reduction, presentation, and conclusions were performed on the gathered data. The results indicated that 7 out of 10 informants did not display FoMO behavior, but 50% of female informants did. Around half of the informants, mainly women, were impacted by JKT48 fan group social interactions. This research found that most informants did not match theoretical FoMO indications. Impulsive decision-making, social pressure, and a need to remain connected are FoMO signs. Islam emphasizes moderation and self-control to prevent excessive conduct in FoMO life. Thus, imformants who can control FoMO-related impulsivity are Islamic. Public interest statements Most informants in this study needed to meet the theoretical research's FoMO indicators. Social desires, needing to be connected, and impulsive decision-making are FoMO symptoms. Islam promotes modesty and self-control to avoid FoMO excess. Informed parties that avoid FoMO-related impulsivity follow Islamic values.

Abstract

This research analyzes the risk management strategies employed in the iB Syariah Tapak KPR financing to understand how the bank aims to minimize the risks associated with high non-performing financing. The study uses a descriptive qualitative research methodology to gather data through various techniques, including observation, interviews, and case studies for primary data. In contrast, secondary data is sourced from literature such as books and journals. The findings reveal that the rise in non-performing financing is attributed to several factors, including economic conditions, the capacity of debtors, force majeure events, and the character of customers. PT Bank Sumut KCP Syariah Karya has developed a comprehensive risk management strategy in response to these challenges. This strategy includes blocking installment funds for 12 months, offering buy-back guarantees, and providing customer insurance to mitigate risks. Public interest statements As banks adopt these strategies to improve customer satisfaction, the public can expect increased competition in the banking sector. This competition may lead to better services, lower fees, and more innovative products, benefiting consumers. Abstract

Abstrak: Harga merupakan faktor utama dalam proses tawar menawar antara pembeli dengan penjual. Oleh karena itu harga merupakan salah satu aspek yang harus diperhatikan oleh pemerintah supaya tidak terjadi kenaikan harga yang dapat menimbulkan gejala sosial di kalangan masyarakat. Islam sangat konsentrasi pada masalah keseimbangan harga, terutama peran negara dalam mewujudkan kestabilan harga dan bagaimana mengatasi masalah ketidakstabilan harga. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kebijakan yang dilakukan pemerintah terhadap daya beli masyarakat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah desktriptif kualitatif. Sumber data berasal dari wawancara dengan dinas perdagangan, pedagang pasar, dan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengendalian harga bahan pangan agar tetap stabil dengan cara mengimpor dari luar, sehingga bahan pangan tetap tersedia dan pemerintah setempat sudah memberikan kebijakan untuk tetap mencukupi bahan pangan supaya harga tersebut tetap stabil. Untuk mengatasi kenaikan harga bahan pangan, ada beberapa tindakan yang dapat dilakukan pemerintah yaitu melalui upaya jangka pendek dan jangka panjang. Upaya Jangka pendek adalah melakukan impor dari luar daerah dan jangka panjang memanfaatkan potensi yang dimiliki oleh daerah Kabupaten Mandailing Natal. Kata kunci: Kebijakan, Pengendalian Harga, Daya Beli Masyarakat, Ekonomi Islam Abstract: Price is the main factor in the bargaining process between buyers and sellers. Therefore, price is one aspect that must be considered by the government so that there is no price increase that can cause social unrest among the community. The purpose of this study is to determine the policies implemented by the government on people's purchasing power. Islam is very focused on the problem of price balance, especially on the role of the state in realizing price stability and how to overcome the problem of price instability. The research conducted in this study is a type of descriptive research using a qualitative approach. Data sources come from interviews with the trade office, market traders, and the community. The results of this study indicate that controlling food prices to remain stable by importing from abroad, so that food remains available and the local government has provided policies to continue to provide sufficient food so that prices remain stable. To overcome the increase in the price of basic necessities, there are several actions that can be taken by the government, including through short-term and long-term efforts. The short term is by importing from outside the region, but the long term requires a systematic strategy that utilizes the great potential of the Mandailing Natal Regency area. Abstract

This research purpose is to provide empirical evidence regarding the influence of the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and Sukuk sales on profitability at Bank Muamalat in 2018-2022. The independent variables in this research are the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), sukuk sales and the dependent variable is profitability. This research uses secondary data obtained from Bank Muamalat’s financial reports. The population in this research is the annual financial report of Bank Muamalat for 2018-2022. The samples used in this research were 60 samples. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis with the help of Eviews 13 and SPSS 25 software. The research results show (1) partially the the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) has a positive and significant effect on profitability with a significant value of 0,032. (2) partially, Sukuk sales have a positive and significant effect of 0,004. (3) simultaneously the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and sukuk sales influence profitability with a calculated F value of 44,816 so that F calculated > F table, namely 44,816 > 3,16 and it can be seen from the Determination Test (R2) which states that the variables Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and Sukuk sales simultaneously (ROA), namely 13,6%, while the remaining 86,4% is explained by other variables not included in this research model.

Fintech as a combination of finance and technology, offers faster, more efficient and inclusive solutions for accessing financial services. The quantitative method was chosen as a way to find out the result of this research because it allows researches to collect data that can be measured statistically, so that they can identify patterns and trends in the relationship between variables, namely the use of Financial Technology (Fintech) in sharia banking (X) with the development of financial inclusion (You). The research result shows that Fintech plays a significant role in facilitating access to financial services. Fintech also contributes to increasing financial literacy, transaction efficiency and customer trust through advanced security features such as data encryption and multi-factor authentication. This research provides recommendationsfor improving digital infrastructure, financial education, and developing innovative sharia products and services.
