Abstract

The goal of this study was to learn about the implementation of multicultural-based social science learning for elementary school teacher education (PGSD) students at Universitas Langlangbuana, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors that influence multicultural-based social science learning implementation.This is a qualitative study that intends to reveal numerous aspects about occurrences, phenomena, and social symptoms in elementary school teacher education students at Universitas Langlangbuana.The implementation of multicultural-based IPS learning and the supporting and inhibiting elements in the implementation of multicultural-based social science learning courses are the topic of this study. The implementation of multicultural-based social science learning as a means of preventing radicalism comprises three stages: planning, execution, and evaluation. Religious, ethnic, and cultural aspects, as well as support from friends and the surrounding community, all play a role in the implementation of multicultural-based social science learning. Meanwhile, internal and external issues are impeding the use of multicultural-based IPS learning. Internal issues include students and the lecture process in class, while external factors include the internet's impact, non-educational television shows such as brawls, and group tasks that are rarely completed with other students.

Abstract

Dalam pendidikan sekolah menengah, mengembangkan metode pengajaran yang efektif sangat penting untuk memastikan bahwa siswa tidak hanya belajar tetapi juga berkembang dalam pengejaran akademis mereka. Salah satu pendekatan untuk mencapai hal ini adalah dengan memahami dan memenuhi karakter siswa. Penilaian karakter siswa adalah aspek penting dalam dunia pendidikan yang melibatkan evaluasi aspek non-akademik dari siswa, termasuk nilai-nilai moral, sikap, keterampilan sosial, dan kepemimpinan. Dalam konteks siswa SMA, karakter siswa yang baik memainkan peran yang krusial dalam keberhasilan akademik dan masa depan mereka. Penilaian karakter menjadi proses penting untuk menentukan metode pembelajaran yang paling efektif untuk siswa. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menguraikan pentingnya penilaian karakter siswa dalam menentukan metode pembelajaran pada siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Purwakarta. Dalam artikel ini, kita akan mengeksplorasi pentingnya memahami sifat-sifat karakter siswa dalam metode pengajaran yang efektif, teknik untuk mengidentifikasi sifat-sifat karakter siswa, dan langkah-langkah untuk mengembangkan dan menerapkan metode pengajaran yang memenuhi sifat-sifat karakter yang berbeda.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of pedagogy and andragogy in training strategies to improve the competence of vocational/vocational teacher teachers. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and document study. The study results show that implementing pedagogy and andragogy in training strategies can improve the competence of vocational/vocational teacher teachers. Pedagogy is used for training novice teachers and andragogy is used for training experienced teachers. The training strategies carried out include: (1) developing curriculum, (2) developing training materials, (3) using information and communication technology, (4) developing learning strategies, and (5) evaluating and assessing training results. This is contained in several sections that are published, namely, implementation, strategy, inhibiting factors, and benefits of training.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengekplorasi linieritas pembelajaran dengan asesmen untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran pada sekolah yang mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka. Secara lebih spesifik, penelitian ini menggali bagaimana Outcome-Based Education dilaksanakan pada tataran praktis untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran melalui pembelajaran yang berpusat pada murid. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus yang berpayung pada metode penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini melibatkan dua sekolah pengguna Kurikulum Merdeka dan 18 orang guru  dari Komite Pembelajaran. Data diperoleh dari dokumen rencana pembelajaran, observasi pembelajaran, dan wawancara semi-struktur. Data dari dokumen modul ajar, observasi, dan wawancara diinterpretasikan dengan cara analisis deskriptif-naratif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Outcome-Based Education tidak muncul pada ranah implementasi pembelajaran terlihat dari dokumen rencana pembelajaran dan pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Ketidaklinieran ditemukan pada: 1) capaian pembelajaran dengan tujuan pembelajaran, 2) tujuan pembelajaran dengan rencana pembelajaran, 3) rencana pembelajaran dengan asesmen, dan 4) tujuan pembelajaran dengan kriteria ketercapaian pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disarankan agar guru meningkatkan kemahiran dalam merancang pembelajaran yang linier dengan asesmen sehingga dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran.  Abstract:  This study aims to identify and explore the linearity of learning with assessment to achieve learning objectives in schools implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. More specifically, this study investigates how Outcome-Based Education is implemented in practical terms to achieve learning objectives through student-centered learning. This research utilizes a case study approach grounded in qualitative research methods. It involves two schools that use the Merdeka Curriculum and 18 teachers from the Learning Committee. Data is obtained from lesson plan documents, classroom observations, and semi-structure interviews. PeneData from teaching module documents, observations, and interviews are interpreted through descriptive-narrative analysis. The results of this research indicate that Outcome-Based Education does not appear in the realm of learning implementation, as seen in lesson plan documents and during teaching. Non-linearity is found in: 1) learning outcomes with learning objectives, 2) learning objectives with lesson plans, 3) lesson plans with assessments, and 4) learning objectives with criteria for achievement. Based on the research findings, it is recommended that teachers enhance their skills in designing linear learning with assessments to effectively achieve learning objectives.

Abstract

Technological developments have made technology-assisted learning an essential part of educational areas. However, integrating technology in education requires teachers’ competency, called technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK). This study reviews the current body literature of TPACK regarding teachers’ challenges and demands of learning with global issues, such as the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and the SDGs 2030 agenda. Researchers employed Narrative Literature Review (NLR), where we reviewed TPACK, teacher competence, and challenges to global issues in education studies from various published articles. This study found a total of 27 articles published in the last ten years. In this study, NLR was carried out in 4 main stages: determining the topic, finding sources and references, analyzing relevant sources, and synthesizing the findings into a structured and informative narrative. The NLR results show that: 1) the form and type of technology integration in education needs to pay attention to aspects of pedagogy and content knowledge so the determination and use of technology in education can work effectively according to the characteristics of students and the content being taught; 2) forms and types of technology integration have been used include virtual labs, molecular and particle animation media, smartphone applications, and augmented reality; and 3) technology integration in the learning process indicated initial, core, and closing activities requiring various approach. Utilizing technology in education within the initial, core, and closing activities requires considering type and form of technology used according to pedagogical aspects (setting learning objectives) and content aspects (depth and breadth of material at each stage). The study results highlighted teachers' competencies on TPACK to effectively support teaching and learning processes in alignment with global needs and challenges.

Abstract

Artikel ini di merupakan sebuah pemaparan hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilatarbelakangi mengenai pentingnya kompetensi pedagogik guru untuk memahami konsep dan praktik penilaian autentik dalam pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini ialah untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada guru terkait dengan pemahaman guru mengenai konsep penilaian autentik, bagaimana menyusun rubric soal autentik, dan praktik penyusunan indikator kisi-kisi penilaian autentik. Adapun khalayak sasaran dalam pengabdian ini ialah guru-guru PAUD dan kelompok belajar di Kabupaten Kuningan Jawa Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah secara blended, dimana metode luring dilaksanakan untuk ceramah, penyampaian materi dan diskusi dengan peserta, sedangkan metode daring digunakan untuk diskusi pendampingan dan penugasan terhadap peserta yang dalam hal ini adalah guru-guru di Kabupaten Kuningan. Hasil dari pengabdian ini yang dilakukan, menunjukan bahwa guru-guru PAUD dan kelompok belajar di Kabupate Kuningan memiliki pemahaman tentang penilaian autentik dengan skor 29% dalam penugasan penyusunan indikator/kisi penilaian autentik mencapai skor 22.05% dan penyusunan rubric soal autentik mencapai skor 26.12%, sehingga dengan menganalisis skor yang diperoleh tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru-guru PAUD dan kelompok belajar di Kabupaten Kuningan Jawa Barat telah memahami konsep penilaian autentik dan dapat melakukan praktik penilaian autentik dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka.

Abstract

The results of the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) on a regular basis which have implications for the Computer-Based National Assessment Program (ANBK) which will be implemented by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia in 2021, make improvements to the mathematics learning assessment instrument through findings. The results obtained from the field test results are considered important to be carried out. This study aims to describe the need for a Numerical Literacy Assessment of Mathematics Learning Outcomes that trains five competencies in learning mathematics, namely problem solving (problem solving), communication (communication), reasoning (reasoning), connection (connection), and representation (representation) by considering pedagogical study. This study involved 10 teacher respondents from several regions in Indonesia. The instrument of this research was a questionnaire and an observation guide to the evaluation of mathematics learning outcomes made by teachers which had been validated by two pedagogic experts and a mathematician. The questionnaire was distributed openly through the google form application. The questionnaire data was processed qualitatively, followed by data reduction, data presentation, discussion and discussion and conclusions. The results of this study include the evaluation instruments made by the teacher are still dominated by multiple choice questions and objective descriptions, respectively 80 and 85% and the finding of the need for improvement in connection competence and mathematical representation which is at the 45% level. . In relation to pedagogy, this needs analysis is considered necessary because the four aspects of evaluation are considered necessary to be applied.

Abstract

Parents are one of the important components that play a role in children's learning process in PAUD units. Examining PAUD unit partnership strategies to improve parental involvement is the aim of this research. The strategy used was descriptive qualitative research. The data used in this research was collected through observation, document collection, and interviews. After that, the information was reviewed using an interactive model validated by triangulation. The analysis, conclusions, and debates conducted on the results show that the partnership activities between Kober SPNF SKB Garut Regency and parents are based on standards that have been formalized in their implementation. Assistance and cooperation between families (parents) and PAUD units are the underlying principles of this relationship. The idea of 5C which stands for communication, connection, community, consultation, and cooperation is a reference in the partnership plan that has been implemented.

Abstract

The need to grasp the newest trends and improvements in education necessitates examining the development of pedagogical competency studies in community education. The aim of this research is to describe the development of studies on pedagogical competence in community education. This study employs bibliometric analysis with Vosviewer for network visualisation, overlay, and density analysis. This study technique is suitable for extensively examining the evolution of studies on pedagogical competency from 2014 to 2023. The bibliometric mapping results using Vosviewer showed varying advances in research publications on pedagogical competency in community education from 2014 to 2023. Only 253 of the total publications indexed by Google Scholar, or 508 documents, fulfilled the criterion. The year with the largest publishing growth development was 2018, with 38 publications (15.0%), and the year with the lowest publication growth development was 2022, with 14 publications (5.5%). The study of pedagogical competencies in community education is essential to keep up with the latest trends and improvements in education. In addition, a more in-depth analysis highlighted the themes that appeared most frequently in the publications during the research period. This research provides insight into trends and patterns in the study of pedagogical competence in community education, which can help guide efforts to develop pedagogical competence in this area.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tanbih Tarekat Qodiriyah Naqsyabandiyah (TQN) Pondok Pesantren Suryalaya bukan hanya wasiat guru untuk muridnya, tetapi juga menjadi pedoman dalam berperilaku beragama, berbangsa, bernegara, dan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis nilai pedagogik dalam Tanbih TQN Pondok Pesantren Suryalaya. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur yakni kegiatan yang berkenaan dengan metode pengumpulan data pustaka, membaca dan mencatat, serta mengelolah bahan penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi dokumentasi yakni mencari atau menggali data dari literatur terkait apa yang dimaksudkan dalam rumusan masalah, selanjutnya data di analisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Data primer yang digunakan adalah naskah Tanbih, sedangkan, data skunder berupa buku dan jurnal yang sesuai dengan kajian. Hasil  penelitian menunjukan bahwa Tanbih TQN Pondok Pesantren Suryalaya mengandung empat belas nilai pedagogik yaitu rukun, hati-hati, taat, istiqomah, introsfeksi, sopan santun, kolaborasi atau gotong royong, saling menghargai, keteladanan, simpati dan empati, toleransi, waspada, tujuan hidup, dan sungguh-sungguh. Nilai pedagogik tersebut harus menjadi pedoman bagi pendidik dan dapat diimplementasikan dalam proses pendidikan di lingkungan Pondok Pesantren Suryalaya. Abstrac: Tanbih TQN Pondok Pesantren Suryalaya is not only a teacher's testament to his students, but also a guideline for religious, national, state and educational behavior. This study aims to describe and analyze the pedagogical values in Tanbih Tarekat Qodiriyah Naqsyabandiyah (TQN) Pondok Pesantren Suryalaya. The method used is literature study, namely activities related to methods of collecting library data, reading and taking notes, and managing research materials. The data collection technique used is documentation study, which involves searching for or extracting data from literature related to the research question. The data is then analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The primary data used is the Tanbih manuscript, while the secondary data consists of books and journals relevant to the study.The results of the study show that Tanbih TQN Pondok Pesantren Suryalaya contains fourteen pedagogical values, namely harmony, caution, obedience, istiqomah, introspection, courtesy, collaboration or mutual cooperation, mutual respect, example, sympathy and empathy, tolerance, alertness, purpose in life, and mean it. These pedagogical values must be a guide for educators and can be implemented in the educational process within the Suryalaya Islamic Boarding School environment.
