Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe principal leadership management in teacher development at Air Salek State Elementary School 14. The method used is a qualitative method. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that teacher development is one of the principal’s duties. At SD Negeri 14 Air Salek, a five-year medium-term strategic plan has been prepared, namely 2018/2022 as well as an annual operational plan. This proves that the planning of teacher development at SD Negeri 14 Air Salek is well planned. The guidance of teachers at SD Negeri 14 Air Salek is also inseparable from the difficulties in achieving optimal coaching results. The obstacles faced include improving communication techniques. Thus, situations like these always impede learning and prevent teachers from reaching their potential. The solution to the problem is to take steps to train every teacher to communicate politely and effectively.

Abstract

Education is a strategic component of a country in developing civilization and the quality of the nation’s capabilities that are dignified, prosperous and advanced. This study aims to determine the effect of the principal’s leadership style and way of making decisions, and of guiding teachers in carrying out the teaching process and the government’s efforts that are committed to improving the quality of education by certifying PNS and NON PNS teachers on teacher’s performance. The study used a questionnaire to obtain data and analyze using simple regression analysis methods and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study showed that the principal’s leadership and teacher certification significantly affect teacher’s performance.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of school principals in improving the performance of PAUD Posyandu teachers in Kec. Penukal Kab. Pali. The research was carried out at the integrated Kec. Penukal Early Childhood Health Center with the address of PU Village, Babat Dusun II Village, Penukal District, Penukal District, Abab Lematang Ilir. The research was carried out from February to April 2023. Data and information were collected by researchers while in the field by obtaining direct surveys. The documentation from primary and secondary sources and used to fulfill research requirements regarding the benefits and objectives of the research. The results of the research show that the results of the survey and documents that were carried out at the time of the research were quality improvement, guidance for school principals and supporting facilities and infrastructure in improving teacher performance in PAUD Posyandu.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is (1) to find out the role of the principal as a supervisor in helping teachers lead classes in improving teacher competence at SD Negeri 24 Talang Kelapa, (2) to find out the role of the principal as a supervisor in helping teachers plan learning programs in improving teacher competence at SD Negeri 24 Talang Kelapa and (3) to find out the role of the principal as a supervisor in helping teachers carry out the learning process in increasing teacher competence at SD Negeri 24 Talang Kelapa. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with in-depth interviews. The results of this study found that (1) the role of the principal in supervising the teacher's ability to lead a class, starting with supervising the planning of lesson plans, implementing learning in class and evaluating learning, (2) the supervisory role of the school principal in increasing teacher competence is demonstrated by providing guidance, identifying teacher deficiencies and planning the training needed by teachers and (3) the role of the school principal as a supervisor in helping teachers carry out the learning process in improving teacher competence at SD Negeri 24 Talang Kelapa is carried out by providing support to teachers with training and then evaluating how the results are, encouraging teachers to attend trainings and workshops both during online and offline.

Abstract

This study aims to ascertain how training and proficiency affect kindergarten/PAUD teachers' performance in Central Bangka Regency. In Central Bangka Regency, 80 instructors were included in the sample size. Purposive sampling was used for the sampling process, and some instructors from Central Bangka Regency served as the respondents. 90 statement items were measured by distributing questionnaires using a 5-point Likert scale to collect the data. Multiple linear regression analysis is the method utilized for analysis. The study's findings demonstrate that teachers' performance is significantly impacted by both competency and training at the same time. Second, the impact of the training on teachers' performance is both partial and considerable. Third, the performance of teachers is partially and significantly impacted by competency.

Abstract

Because of a phenomenon he noticed in earlier researchers’ work and the empirical finding that principal leadership and organizational justice affect teacher performance, the author was inspired to conduct this study. To better understand how these two factors affect the performance of State Elementary School (SD) teachers in Cluster 1 Koba District, Central Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, the author conducted this study. application of quantitative research techniques. 84 instructors from 8 public elementary schools located in Cluster 1 made up the sample, which was determined using random sampling. Koba District. By distributing questionnaires with a Likert scale of 1 to 4, the data were collected. The SPSS-26 program was used to statistically process the data. The outcomes of the data analysis support the finding that organizational justice and the principal’s leadership have a favorable and significant impact on teacher performance, either separately or collectively. According to the coefficient of determination test, organizational fairness and the principal’s leadership had a combined 52.2% effect on teacher performance.

Abstract

The results of the Final School Assessment revealed that pupils in class VII of State Middle Schools in the Sungaiselan District had poor learning outcomes in social studies. According to current understanding, both internal and external influences can have an impact on learning outcomes. The goal of this study is to ascertain the effects of internal and external variables on the learning outcomes of class VII students in social studies courses. Internal variables include learning motivation and interest. The learning results of class VII pupils in the Sungaiselan sub-district in social studies are the focus of this study. The use of questionnaires and documentation studies is the research methodology. The Slovin formula was used to establish the sample size in this study, which included 100 students. Proportional random sampling was utilized as the sampling technique. Multiple regression analysis is the method of data analysis that is employed. According to the study’s findings, (i) teacher competence positively affects class VII students’ learning outcomes in social studies subjects in the Sungaiselan District, and (ii) interest in learning positively affects class VII students’ learning outcomes in the social studies subject in the Sungaiselan District. Additionally, class VII students’ learning results in social studies in the Sungaiselan District are positively impacted by their enthusiasm to learn. Additionally, based on all computations, it was determined that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, indicating that the variables Teacher Competence (X1), Learning Interest (X2), and Learning Motivation (X3) had an impact on the Learning Outcome variable (Y) when assessed concurrently or simultaneously.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of early childhood character education in TK Pembina 4 Ogan Komering Ulu. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were the principal, teachers, and parents of students. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of early childhood character education at TK Pembina 4 Ogan Komering Ulu in implementing character education uses programmed activities with the center method which is equipped with other complementary methods, namely stories, singing, fairy tales, direct practice, teacher exemplary and discussion. as well as rewards, seduction and punishment for children. Constraints in implementing character education are the competence of educators in terms of making assessment tools and RKH, the atmosphere of the school environment among educators, and the lack of assertiveness of the principal in educators not to use RKH in the learning process. Supporting factors identified include support from the community and students ‘parents.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze and describe 1) The influence of academic supervision on teacher performance 2) the effect of leadership effectiveness on teacher performance 3) the influence of academic supervision and leadership effectiveness on teacher performance. The method used in this study refers to quantitative description. This research was conducted at SDN Koba and Lubuk Besar sub-districts with a sample of 82 people. Data collection techniques are carried out through questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Validity tests are conducted through expert and construct validation tests, and instruments are declared valid. Data analysis is carried out through prerequisite tests, namely normality, linearity, multicolonicity, and heteroscedasticity. After prerequisite testing, the analysis continues with regression tests. The results obtained stated that partially: 1) academic supervision affects teacher performance with a significant influence, namely 67%, 2) leadership effectiveness also contributes 51%. Simultaneous testing states that academic supervision and leadership effectiveness contribute significantly to teacher performance, which is 71% and the remaining 29% is influenced by other factors, therefore hypotheses regarding the influence of the two independent variables on the dependent variable can be stated.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the influence of the Spensa Pacak Learning Management System application and the ICT skills of subject teachers on students’ learning motivation. The study was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Koba, Central Bangka Regency, using questionnaires. The results showed that the use of the Learning Management System application had no significant impact on students’ learning motivation. However, the ICT skills of subject teachers had a significant influence on students’ motivation. The use of the Learning Management System application and subject teachers’ ICT skills simultaneously had a significant influence on students’ motivation. The coefficient of determination for students showed a large influence of the Learning Management System application and subject teachers’ ICT skills, with 82.3% influenced by other factors not mentioned in the research.
