Abstract

The character values of the younger generation, especially elementary school students, have been eroded by the growing current of globalization. This research aims to instill character values through social studies learning so that students can become individuals who better reflect the nation’s children and improve their character values. The library research method was used in this research, by collecting data from library materials and using documentation techniques. Researchers collected data from articles and ebook contained in online journal. The research result show that social studies learning can include character values through the elements instilled in students. Therefore, educators need to be able to instill character values well in social studies learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of the independent curriculum in elementary schools. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation, data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, concluding drawing. The results of this research are that in independent learning curriculum teachers have implemented independent learning. Where teachers are given the freedom to implement meaningful, differentiated and innovate learning. Teachers and students have also used appropriate approaches, models, strategies and learning methods. Learning design has taken into account aspects of simplicity, harmony, easy to understand, flexibility and taking into account the characteristics of students. The application of the independent curriculum using independent changes provides flexibility to educational units when implementing the independent curriculum using the teaching tools that have been provided. The obstacles encountered are teachers' limitations in creating teaching modules, compiling learning plans due to adaptation of the new curriculum, minimal socialization and training and limited school infrastructure.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the improvement in learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Muhammadiyah Birrul Walidain Kudus for the 2023/2024 academic year in the science and sciences subject by applying the Project Based Learning learning model assisted by KOPIKEGAYA media. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method which is carried out in two cycles with four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection in each cycle. Participants in this research were 27 grade IV students at SD Muhammadiyah Birrul Walidain Kudus, with details of 16 male students and 11 female students. Data collection methods such as interviews, observation, tests and documentation were used in this research. The knowledge domain learning results from cycle I obtained a classical level of 55.55%, then in cycle II it increased to 77.77%. In cycle I there was an increase in learning outcomes in the affective domain (attitude) with an average score of 71.66%, cycle II increased to 82.77%. Learning outcomes in the psychomotor domain (skills) increased from cycle I, obtaining an average score of 72.52%, then increased in cycle II, which obtained an average score of 84.64%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the application of the Project Based Learning learning model assisted by KOPIKEGAYA media can improve the science and science learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD Muhammadiyah Birrul Walidain Kudus tahun pelajaran 2023/2024 pada mata pelajaran IPAS dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning berbantuan media KOPIKEGAYA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi pada setiap siklusnya. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Muhammadiyah Birrul Walidain Kudus yang berjumlah 27 siswa, dengan rincian laki-laki 16 siswa dan perempuan 11 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data seperti wawancara, observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil pembelajaran ranah pengetahuan dari siklus I memperoleh tingkat klasikal sebesar 55,55%, kemudian pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 77,77%. Pada siklus I terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar ranah afektif (sikap) dengan rata-rata skor 71,66% siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 82,77%. Hasil belajar ranah psikomotorik (keterampilan) mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 72,52% kemudian meningkat pada siklus II yang memperoleh nilai rata-rata 84,64%. Maka dari itu ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning berbantuan media KOPIKEGAYA dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas IV SD.

Abstract

The CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) learning method is a method that supports students in developing comprehensive reading skills and provides benefits for students to understand learning material. This study aims to conduct a literature review related to the CIRC learning model on students' reading comprehension skills. The research method used in this study is the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method. Data collection is done by documenting all articles that have similar research in the research report. The articles used in this study were 4 national journal articles obtained from the Google Scholar database using the Publish or Perish application. The use of the CIRC learning model can be developed by teachers as a learning model to improve students' reading comprehension results.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a literature review related to the influence of quizizz learning media on student learning outcomes in elementary schools. in this study using the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method. Data collection techniques are carried out by finding sources of articles that have similar research in this study. The articles used in this research are 12 national journal articles obtained from the Google Solar database using the Harzing's Publish Or Perish application. The results of the study show that quiziz is a fun learning medium, because in the quiziz application an educator can add interesting features and can arouse students' curiosity. It can be concluded that the use of Quizziz as a learning medium in elementary schools is very effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Animated video is a combination of moving audio-visual media. Audio visual media rely on the senses of hearing and sight. This study aims to conduct a literature review related to the influence of video-animation-based media on science learning in elementary schools using the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method. The data collection technique was carried out by finding sources of articles from national journals that have similar research sourced from the Google Scholar database with the help of the Publish or Perish application. The articles used were 5 articles that were obtained and met the specified inclusion and exclusion criteria. The articles collected were only published articles from 2018 to 2023. The results showed that the use of video-animation-based media can help students improve their abilities and understand the material contained in science subjects. Students become interested and very enthusiastic about animated video-based media, easily understand science material assisted by pictures that arouse students' interest in learning. In this animated video media can overcome boredom in students during the learning process takes place.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Salah satu cabang matematika yang dipelajari di sekolah dasar adalah geometri yang berhubungan erat dengan pembentukan konsep abstrak. Pembelajaran geometri yang efektif tidak bisa hanya dengan ceramah atau transfer pengetahuan, tetapi harus melalui pembentukan konsep melalui serangkaian kegiatan langsung oleh peserta didik. Di SD 1 Jati Wetan, Kab.Kudus, Jawa Tengah siswa masih menghadapi kesulitan dalam memahami konsep, yang mengakibatkan nilai mereka belum memuaskan pada materi luas bangun datar tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar matematika materi luas bangun datar kelas V dengan model guided inquiry berbantuan tangram. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) subjek kelas V SD 1 Jati Wetan sebanyak 15 siswa sehingga didapatkan hasil belajar siswa, yang dilaksanakan pada 30 Januari – 26 Februari 2025. Dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa model pembelajaran guided inquiry dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan persentase 66,67% pada siklus I, sedangkan pada siklus II didapatkan hasil belajar meningkat sebesar 86,67%. Dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran guided inquiry berbantuan tangram dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi luas bangun datar.

Abstract

Social Studies (IPS) is a strategic subject in shaping the character and social awareness of students since elementary school level. However, in practice, IPS learning in Elementary Schools (SD) faces various complex and multidimensional challenges. This study aims to analyze these challenges through a literature study approach to nine nationally indexed scientific articles. The results of the study show that the challenges of IPS learning include the low image of the IPS subject, limited teacher competence in implementing the Independent Curriculum, minimal integration of global issues and 21st century literacy, and lack of infrastructure and technology support. Therefore, a systemic approach is needed through teacher training, provision of resources, curriculum strengthening, and pedagogical transformation to make IPS a meaningful, adaptive, and contextual learning medium.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di sekolah dasar mempunyai peran strategis dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter siswa sejak dini, terutama di tengah tantangan globalisasi. Penelitian ini merupakan studi literatur terhadap sepuluh artikel jurnal terakreditasi yang membahas penanaman pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran IPS. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai seperti religius, jujur, disiplin, tanggung jawab, toleransi, gotong royong, dan cinta tanah air dapat ditanamkan secara efektif melalui pendekatan kontekstual, budaya lokal, media visual, dan pembiasaan positif di sekolah. Meski demikian, tantangan seperti kurangnya dukungan orang tua dan pengaruh lingkungan masih perlu diatasi melalui kolaborasi antar pihak.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the improvement of the learning outcomes of the students using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model supported by the learning media audiovisual in IPAS subjects. The type of research used in this research is classroom action research. Data collection using interviews, observations, written tests, and documentation. Class Action Research was conducted in SD 1 Jati Wetan class III with 9 students. The results obtained in this study are showed improvement in each cycle. In the pre cycle the average value obtained is 66,66, in the first cycle is 69,44, and in the second cycle is 78,88. And the percentage of completeness in the pre cycle reaches 33,33%, in the first cycle is 55,55%, and in the second cycle is 88,88%. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) in IPAS subjects in elementary school can improve learning outcomes.
