Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi pendidikan mendorong guru merancang media pembelajaran secara terencana, namun banyak media digital masih digunakan tanpa mengikuti kerangka desain yang sistematis. Model Hannafin dan Peck, melalui tahapan penilaian kebutuhan, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi, menawarkan pendekatan untuk integrasi media yang efektif. Kajian ini menggunakan metode observasi literatur terhadap 20 artikel terbitan 2014-2025 yang diperoleh dari Google Scholar dan ResearchGate dengan kata kunci terkait model Hannafin and Peck. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa media seperti video animasi, e-modul, permainan edukatif, LKS digital, dan multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan melalui model ini terbukti meningkatkan motivasi, relevansi materi, partisipasi, dan hasil belajar.

Abstract

Pengembangan bahan ajar digital dan media interaktif fisik semakin dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran di era digital. Artikel ini bertujuan mengkaji penerapan Successive Approximation Model (SAM) dalam pengembangan bahan ajar dan media pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan menelaah hasil penelitian terdahulu terkait implementasi SAM maupun model pengembangan lain seperti ADDIE. Sumber dari kajian dalam artikel ini adalah jurnal-jurnal terdahulu. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa SAM menawarkan keunggulan melalui proses iteratif dengan siklus umpan balik cepat dan revisi berulang, sehingga produk yang dihasilkan lebih relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa dan konteks budaya. Penelitian terdahulu juga membuktikan bahwa media digital interaktif berbasis SAM maupun pendekatan serupa terbukti valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi serta hasil belajar siswa. Meskipun demikian, tantangan berupa keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi dan keterampilan guru masih menjadi hambatan dalam penerapannya. Kajian ini menegaskan bahwa kombinasi bahan ajar digital dan media fisik interaktif dengan pendekatan SAM dapat menghadirkan pembelajaran yang lebih holistik, adaptif, dan sesuai tuntutan pendidikan abad 21

Abstract

This research aims to compare the education equity policies in remote areas of Indonesia and Malaysia to identify the differences, similarities, and effectiveness in addressing socioeconomic disparities between urban and remote regions. The study examines policy documents, government reports, and previous research using a qualitative comparative approach. Indonesia employs a regional autonomy approach, while Malaysia adheres to a centralized system in education policy. Both countries have adopted financial assistance programs to increase the participation of students from low-income families in remote areas. Critical challenges in policy implementation include limited facilities and infrastructure, demanding access to transportation, limited human resources, and sociocultural barriers. The study finds that policy successes are evident in increased student participation, improved infrastructure accessibility, provision of teaching staff, and community support. However, budget constraints and human resource limitations remain significant obstacles. The research concludes that effective education equity policies require proactive government involvement, active community participation, and periodic monitoring and evaluation to enhance policy effectiveness.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter memiliki peran penting dalam pembentukan kepribadian peserta didik di sekolah. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tantangan dan peluang dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, dilaksanakan di SD Gugus 3 Kecamatan Polokarto, Kabupaten Sukoharjo, dengan melibatkan 18 guru sebagai partisipan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, Focused Group Discussion (FGD), dan tinjauan literatur. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles & Huberman. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa masalah utama pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar meliputi pemahaman yang kurang oleh guru tentang konsep pendidikan karakter, kekurangan sumber daya, dan dampak negatif dari lingkungan sosial dan media. Sebaliknya, peluang besar masih ada, seperti dukungan kebijakan pemerintah maupun sekolah, partisipasi orang tua, dan inovasi dalam pembelajaran. Kajian ini menemukan bahwa sekolah, keluarga, dan masyarakat dapat bekerja sama dengan baik untuk memberikan pendidikan karakter. Character education in elementary schools: Challenges and opportunities Abstract: Character education plays a crucial role in shaping the personality of students in schools. This article aims to identify challenges and opportunities in implementing character education in elementary schools. This study used qualitative methods and was conducted at Elementary School Cluster 3, Polokarto District, Sukoharjo Regency, with 18 teachers participating. Data were collected through observation, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and a literature review. Data analysis used the Miles & Huberman interactive model. This study found that the main challenges of character education in elementary schools include teachers' lack of understanding of the concept of character education, a lack of resources, and the negative impact of the social environment and media. Conversely, significant opportunities remain, such as support from government and school policies, parental participation, and innovation in learning. This study found that schools, families, and communities can work together effectively to provide character education.

Abstract

Educating the characters is the process of giving, integrating and, forming teachers' characters for students. In the implementation of the education of characters in the school, the commitment of all the school's residents is required to implement it in a coherent manner. The study aims to analyse the education of characters in two elementary schools base on six pillars of the character, namely trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship. This research method uses qualitative descriptive which describes the implementation of character education in elementary schools. Data collection methods use interviews, observations, and document analysis. Data analysis involves three steps: data reduction, data presentation, and retrieval. The results of this study indicate that character education related to trust, respect, responsibility, fairness, care, and citizenship, has been implemented through various activities, including classroom learning, extracurricular activities, habituation, and collaboration with the local community. The significance of the effective education of characters can improve the quality of overall education. When students have a good personality, they will learn more easily, will be more disciplined and will be able to work together better in a group.

Abstract

Penilaian Profil Pelajar Pancasila dimensi bernalar kritis penting untuk mengukur penerapan nilai-nilai pancasila oleh peserta didik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan prosedur pengembangan instrumen penilaian Profil Pelajar Pancasila dimensi bernalar kritis pada mata pelajaran IPAS Fase C dan 2) menguji kualitasnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan R&D dengan model pengembangan 4D. Hasil penelitian memberikan gambaran 1) Prosedur pengembangan instrumen menggunakan model pengembangan 4D dengan Tahap Disseminate tidak dilakukan mengingat terbatasnya waktu, biaya, dan sumber daya lainnya dan 2) instrumen yang dikembangkan berbentuk pilihan ganda skala guttman dengan 4 pilihan jawaban. Instrumen terdiri atas 3 elemen, yaitu memperoleh dan memproses gagasan dan informasi, menganalisis dan mengevaluasi penalaran, dan merefleksikan dan mengevaluasi pemikiran sendiri yang diturunkan menjadi 10 indikator. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa instrumen yang dikembangkan memiliki kualitas yang baik ditinjau dari validitas, reliabilitas, kesukaran butir, dan daya beda.

Abstract

Assessment of writing creativity in primary education often faces challenges due to subjective judgments by teachers. The use of assessment rubrics offers an objective and structured alternative for evaluating aspects of creativity such as originality, elaboration, and uniqueness. This study aims to: 1) analyse the application of assessment rubrics in assessing writing creativity, 2) evaluate the impact of using assessment rubrics on improving students' writing skills. The research method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with steps of identification, selection, data extraction, and synthesis of information from various relevant scientific articles. Data sources were obtained from national and international accredited journals within the last ten years. Inclusion criteria included publications that discussed assessment rubrics, objective assessment, writing creativity, and their implementation in primary education. It can be concluded that rubrics are effective tools for assessing writing creativity, but their optimal implementation requires teacher capacity building and stronger policy support to ensure sustainability.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the education curriculum in Indonesia and Morocco, focusing on content, implementation, and impacts on learning. Through qualitative research, including document analysis and interviews with educators, curriculum developers, and students, this study compare the educational curriculum of both countries. The analysis begin with exploring official curriculum documents in both countries, examining objectives, subjects, and teaching methods. The implementation of the curriculum examined through observations and interviews with educators to understand how it is enacted in the classroom. Additionally, interviews with students gather their perceptions and experiences regarding the curriculum's impact on their learning outcomes. The results of this study are Indonesia and Morocco have some fundamental similarities and differences in the applicable curriculum. Indonesia and Morocco prioritize student-centered learning, skills development, and character education through initiatives like the Merdeka Curriculum. Despite promoting accessibility and technology use, both face challenges in addressing regional disparities. The primary school curricula in both nations positively impact learning by emphasizing competencies, general skills, and character education, while recognizing and appreciating local values and culture. The findings of this research contribute to the education sector by providing a comprehensive comparison of the curriculum between Indonesia and Morocco.

Abstract

The integration of local wisdom into interactive e-modules has emerged as an important strategy to provide contextual and meaningful learning in primary education. This study aims to examine its application in module development and use through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of relevant studies. Findings reveal that such e-modules are mainly implemented in science and social studies, embedding students’ real-life environments and cultural values to enhance motivation, cultural identity, conceptual understanding, and active engagement, while also contributing to character building. These results highlight the potential of local wisdom-based e-modules to support culturally responsive and student-centered learning. However, the review is limited by the scarcity of long-term studies evaluating their sustained effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of digital learning media in the IPAS subject (a combination of science and social studies) within the implementation of the independent curriculum in elementary schools. This research employs a descriptive qualitative design. The findings show that the use of digital learning media has been implemented effectively, meeting various educational media criteria. The selection of digital learning media follows the ACTION model (Access, Cost, Technology, Interactivity, Organisation, Novelty), although certain aspects like access and technology remain suboptimal. This study is expected to contribute to the development of more effective learning theories for digital media and to enrich knowledge about digital learning media appropriate for early childhood development. This study contributes to digital learning media analysis in elementary education by examining the use of digital media in the IPAS subject within the Independent Curriculum framework using the ACTION model. The findings highlight both effective implementation and persistent challenges in access and technology, offering practical guidance for selecting age-appropriate digital learning media in elementary schools.
