Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of inclusive education and the role of teachers in accommodating the learning needs of students with speech delays in regular elementary school classes. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results show that inclusive learning is implemented in regular classes with diverse student characteristics. Teachers act as facilitators, motivators, and social-emotional guides by adjusting methods, media, and communication patterns, such as the use of simple language, visual media, and providing additional time. These efforts can increase student participation and confidence. However, there are still obstacles such as limited teacher competence, time, and professional support. It is concluded that the success of inclusive education is highly dependent on teacher readiness and school system support.

Abstract

21st century skills are a fundamental demand for teachers to have in facing the demands of modern education in which there are critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity. The purpose of this research is to analyze how the role of educator management and principals in developing 21st century skills of teachers in primary schools. The research method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by systematically analyzing scientific articles in accordance with the field studied in this study. The study was carried out through the identification of sources, selection of the criteria studied, and analysis of the content of the selected research findings. The results of the study show that it shows that the management of school principal educators plays a strategic role in strengthening teachers' 21st century skills through the implementation of management functions which include planning professional development programs, organizing collaborative activities for teachers, implementing academic supervision oriented to 21st century learning, and continuous supervision and evaluation. In addition, principals who apply participatory, communicative, and visionary leadership styles are able to build a pattern of teachers' professional interaction that supports the development of communication skills, collaboration, and adaptation to change. The conclusion of this study confirms that planned and collaborative management of school principal educators is a key factor in strengthening teachers' 21st century skills and improving the quality of education in elementary schools.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study to describe the implementation of the character education at SDN Bansari. The study used a qualitative method through a case study approach. The data was taken from ten informants that consisting of the headmaster, third grade classroom teacher, fifth grade classroom teacher, an Islamic education teacher, student of third and fifth grade, the third and fifth graders parent, the chairman of committee, and school employees that selected from purposive technique. Data were taken in depth interviews to all of the informants. The result of the research showed that there are four priority in SDN Bansari. The four values of the character are that: 1) religious; 2) patriotism; 3) communicative; 4) appreciating accomplishment; and 5) environmental concerns. A number of strategies in character education’s implementation were among others, routine activities, role modelling/exemplary, spontaneous activities, conditioning, and programmable. Character education in school culture in SDN Bansari was done by combination of the strategy and character value.

Abstract

Project to Strengthen Pancasila Student Profile (P5) is very important to improve the character of students, especially independent learning. The novelty of this research is that it focuses on the factors that influence learning independence in the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5). This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with a qualitative approach. Factors that affect the learning independence of students in class are divided into two, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors include the ability of students to get used to learning on their own after understanding the teacher's explanation, focusing on working on projects, and developing interests according to their wishes. Meanwhile, external factors include a supportive family environment, a supportive community environment, supportive teachers, and friends who influence all attitudes of students. Factors that influence learning independence in the Project to Strengthen Pancasila Student Profiles (P5) for class II B and V B SD N Kleco II are influenced by internal factors and external factors.

Abstract

This research is entitled Analysis of Teacher Capabilities in Digital Literacy in the Implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at Leran Wetan I Palang Tuban Elementary School. The aim of this research is to describe teachers' abilities in digital literacy in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at Leran Wetan I Palang Tuban Elementary School. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and questionnaires. The research results show that teachers have operational abilities in digital literacy. The conclusion of this research is that teachers master operational skills in digital literacy.

Abstract

Abstract. Games book learning media is one of the learning media that can help teachers deliver material to students through a game. Games book is a book-shaped media in which there are various games that interest students in reading. The purpose of this study is to prove that the use of media games books can increase reading interest in grade IV students. The type of research is classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were teacher and fourth grade students of Elementary School Djama'atul Ichwan Surakarata. Data collection techniques in this study through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Data validity testing techniques in this study used triangulation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the reading interest of pre-action students who scored high interest in reading categories was only 29% or 9 students. In cycle I, students who received high interest in reading scores occurred at meeting 1 to 55% or 17 students and meeting 2 to 81% or 25 students. In cycle II there was an increase again in meeting 1 with a score of 87% or 27 students and in meeting 2 to 90% or 28 students. The results showed that the use of game media books could increase the reading interest of Class IV D students at SD Djama'atul Ichwan Surakarta in the academic year 2019/2020.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the influence of aspects of school climate and communication patterns in school culture on the profile of Pancasila students in public elementary schools throughout the Slamet Riyadi Laweyan Surakarta Cluster. This study uses a quantitative correlation approach with multiple linear regression analysis. The data sources in this study were students of SDN Mangkubumen Lor No. 15 and SDN Mangkubumen Kidul No. 16. The data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire. The data analysis used was multiple linear regression analysis. Multiple linear regression analysis can produce calculations of t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination. The results of this study indicate that aspects of school climate and communication patterns in elementary schools throughout the Slamet Riyadi Laweyan Surakarta Cluster in the 2023/2024 academic year have a significant influence of 0.608 or 60.8% on the profile of Pancasila students. The implementation of the Pancasila student profile can be done through school culture, Pancasila student profile strengthening projects, intracurricular and extracurricular activities, therefore it is recommended to research the implementation of the Pancasila student profile through other activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran orang tua terhadap kesiapan siswa kelas I pada pembelajaran daring di SD Djama'atul Ichwan Surakarta tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Subyek penelitian ini adalah orang tua dan siswa kelas 1A SD Djama'atul Ichwan Surakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Validasi yang digunakan adalah triangulasi data dan triangulasi sumber. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mereduksi data, menyajikan data, kemudian menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua memiliki peran penting dalam kesiapan belajar siswa kelas I selama pembelajaran daring. Indikator kesiapan belajar siswa adalah kondisi fisik, kondisi mental, kondisi emosional, pengetahuan, kebutuhan, dan motivasi. Kesimpulannya, peran orang tua dalam membentuk kesiapan belajar siswa adalah sebagai fasilitator, motivator, pembimbing, dan pengawas.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is the latest curriculum initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek). The curriculum is an important guideline in the learning process, especially the Merdeka Curriculum is a curriculum designed for post-pandemic learning recovery. The Merdeka Curriculum expects students to develop according to their abilities. Therefore, in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, teachers are expected to be able to compile teaching modules that are in accordance with the needs and characteristics of students. The purpose of this research is to describe in detail the implementation of the merdeka curriculum in sekolah penggerak based on the perspective of the management function at SDN Kleco II. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. The data source came from the principal and grade I and IV teachers of SDN Kleco II. Data collection techniques used in research are using questionnaires, observations, document analysis, and interviews. Data analysis using the Miles and Huberman model. The implementation of the merdeka curriculum in sekolah penggerak at SDN Kleco II from the perspective of the management function has gone through the stages of planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling properly.

Abstract

The management implementation stage is the implementation of planning and realizing characteristics of the profile of Pancasila students. Implementation of P5 activities at SDN 04 Jatingarang has not been consistent. Observations showed during P5 activities, students were less enthusiastic about learning, had low curiosity, and were not yet able to explain the reasons for their ideas. This study aimed to determine the implementation of P5 learning management in fostering critical and creative reasoning skills in phase C students. The method was descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques in observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The data sources were the principal, grade V teachers, and grade V students of SDN 04 Jatingarang. The outcomes of the study showed the implementation at SDN 04 Jatingarang consisted of the stages of initiating, implementing, and closing activities. Fostering creative and critical reasoning skills is done by getting used to discussing and providing challenges with gradual levels of difficulty. The average creative ability at the implementation stage is in the fairly creative category. Critical reasoning ability, at the P5 implementation, the average student is in the sufficient category. Good learning management can develop students’ abilities and skills that align with the character profile of Pancasila students.
