Abstract

Children with intellectual disabilities often face challenges in gaining access and absorbing information in conventional learning environments. Therefore, adapting the curriculum becomes an urgent need to meet their unique needs. This research aims to explain in detail the optimization of curriculum modifications in the context of Special Schools (SLB) at SLB C YPSLB Surakarta to improve the learning of mentally retarded children. This research method uses qualitative descriptive research and data collection by conducting observations, interviews and documentation to collect qualitative data. The research results showed that curriculum modifications at SLB C YPSLB Surakarta took the form of changes to the material content and learning process to ensure education was adapted to students' needs and abilities. Efforts to increase curriculum accessibility by improving children's skills and directing them to the agricultural and culinary fields ensure that students with intellectual disabilities have equal opportunities to develop their potential and prepare for an independent and productive future.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of differentiated learning in elementary schools through the use of Wordwall digital media with the utilization of the open the box game feature. This research method uses a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation of research subjects. Data validation uses source and technique triangulation techniques to ensure the validity of the findings. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data display, and verification. The results show that the use of Wordwall digital media with the utilization of the open the box game feature is able to accommodate the diverse learning needs of students so that it is often used in differentiated learning. The use of Wordwall digital media with the open the box feature is able to accommodate the diversity of student learning needs, both in terms of learning styles, levels of understanding, and learning interests. The stages of implementing this innovation involve planning materials tailored to students' learning categories, organizing activities on the Wordwall platform that support varied learning interactions, and reflecting on each stage of implementation to improve the relevance of learning. This media is a tool that is often utilized by teachers in carrying out differentiated learning because of its ability to provide various forms of interactive and interesting evaluation. This innovation has a significant impact in creating a learning environment that is responsive to the various learning needs of students, allows for variation in teaching strategies, and gives teachers flexibility in presenting materials more effectively.

Abstract

Creative thinking skills were important for students to have to solve math problems appropriately. This article aims to provide an overview of junior high school students' ability to think creatively. The images to be studied are related to students' abilities for fluency, flexibility, and originality . The topic in this article is the seventh-grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah Kottabarat Surakarta Special Program, with a total of 16 students who will be categorized based on high, medium, and low self- confidence . The data collection technique used a test in the form of five description questions in the material of rectangular flat building problems and interviews. The method used is the descriptive approach. The data analysis techniques in this article are based on Miles and Huberman, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results show that students' creative thinking skills are divided into 3 categories: 6% in the high category, 75% in the medium category, and 19% in the low category. This result shows that students' ability to think creatively in solving rectangular flat problems is relatively easy, which means that their capacity to solve rectangular flat problems based on creative thinking steps hasn't been maximized .

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi TikTok terhadap peningkatan kreativitas belajar peserta didik di SD Negeri Sondakan No 11 Surakarta. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan jumlah responden 42 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran angket secara acak kepada responden. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa distribusi penggunaan TikTok oleh siswa tergolong normal dengan nilai sebesar 0,200 > 0,05 berdasarkan uji normalitas menggunakan One-Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov. Selanjutnya uji linieritas memperoleh nilai sebesar 0,261 > 0,05 yang menyatakan adanya hubungan linear antara penggunaan TikTok dengan peningkatan kreativitas peserta didik dan menegaskan hubungan antara variabel terikat dengan variabel bebas. Kemudian hasil uji regresi linier sebesar 0,024 < 0,05 menunjukkan pengaruh signifikansi aplikasi TikTok dalam meningkatkan kreativitas belajar peserta didik. Hasil penelitian terbukti bahwa aplikasi TikTok berdampak positif pada kreativitas peserta didik. Penelitian ini menegaskan penggunaan media sosial khususnya TikTok memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kreativitas belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris, terutama pembelajaran kosa kata di sekolah dasar, menunjukkan banyak perkembangan positif, meskipun masih ada beberapa masalah. Banyak pengalaman belajar akan membuat pembelajaran lebih mudah dan menyenangkan. Dengan ini peneliti akan mengenalkan sebuah media pembelajaran guna untuk menambah keterampilan siswa dalam penguasaannya tentang kosa kata Bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan sebuah media kuarted card dalam penguasaan kosakata Bahasa Inggris terhadap tingkat partisipasi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan rancangan Pre-Eksperimental, design penelitian One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Teknik penentuan sampel dengan rumus Solvin yaitu jumlah sebanyak 39 siswa, 20 anak sebagai kelas eksperimen, dan 19 anak sebagai kelas non eksperimen pada kelas II SD Negeri 3 Rejosari Grobogan. Penelitian dilakukan kurang lebih 4 minggu, dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tiga langkah yaitu Pretest, sebelum dilakukan pemberian perlakuan atau treatment, tindakan setelah pemberian perlakuaan atau Posttest. Pengisian kusioner efektivitas media dan tingkat partisipasi siswa saat pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian, penggunaan kuartet card sebagai media kosa kata meningkatkan partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris, seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai t hitung dibandingkan dengan hasil t tabel, dengan taraf signifikansi 5% (10.510 > 2,085) dan nilai sig. dua sumbu, yaitu 0,000 > 0,05. Ini menunjukkan bahwa penelitian ini memiliki perubahan atau pengaruh pada media kuartet card khususnya penguasaan kosa kata Bahasa Inggris terhadap partisipasi belajar siswa Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

The dimension of mutual cooperation is one of the dimensions in the pancasila student profile. This study aims to analyses the child-friendly school reconstruction program through strengthening of the pancasila student profile dimension of mutual cooperation. This is a qualitative research using ethnographic method which was carried out in two public elementary schools. Sources of data in this study are school principals, teachers, and students. Data collection is done by interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used interactive analysis techniques consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data test using source triangulation techniques and method triangulation. The results of this study indicate that both elementary schools have implemented the child friendly school reconstruction program in the form of policies, implementation of the learning process, educators and education staff, facilities and infrastructure, participation of children, parents. Reconstruction was carried out by both schools through elements of collaboration, caring and sharing. The conclusion of this study is that the child friendly school program has been reconstructed by the strengthening of the pancasila student profile dimension of mutual cooperation.

Abstract

The importance of developing higher-order thinking skills in the 21st century impacts the standardization of learning tools in schools. This research analyses the lesson plans prepared using the HOTS-based learning plan indicators. The research design used is document analysis. The data source in the study was the lesson plans that elementary school teachers had prepared, as many as 4 lesson plans—data collection techniques using documentation and interviews. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, display, and verification. The study results showed that the HOTS aspect was included in the lesson plan the teacher had prepared. Namely, the competency selection aspect was 83.3%. Formulation of indicators by 25%. The identity of the selection of learning materials is 100%. The formulation of learning objectives is 50%, the use of learning methods is 75%, and the use of learning resources is 75%. The use of learning media is 100%. Learning activities by 100%, selection of assessment by 100%. Overall the coverage of lesson plans analyzed on HOTS was 80.2%. The HOTS-based learning plans that elementary school teachers have prepared still need to improve their preparation, especially in using HOTS verbs. A review of the HOTS-based learning implementation plan is needed to achieve learning activities that refer to developing students' higher-order thinking skills.

Abstract

This research was motivated by several elementary school students who had difficulty reading and that learning media could act as a tool to aid these learning delays. The aim of this research is to describe the importance of effective learning media on apple letters to improve reading fluency in lowed class elementary school student. This method used qualitative research metods. The type of qualitative research used in this research is a case study type of research by means of observation, interviews, and documentation to obtain accurate research final data. The final data can be ascertained to be accurate because it has been proven by face to face observation activities on lower grade elementary school students who have difficulty reading, apart from that, observations were also made on teachers who used the letter apple teaching media as a teaching aid supported by documentation. The teacher’s importance to improving the reading fluency of lowed class student is by using learning media in the form of letters as a tool to convey the material. Form of student reading difficulties include difficulty distinguishing letter shapes and difficulty spelling letters and words. This research obtained results thar the apple letter media is very important to help teachers improve the reading fluency of lowed class elementary school students. Apple letter media can also improve student achievement, train critical thinking, and can increase student activity in learning because when students have difficulty reaing it will disrupt their learning activities. The impact or consequence of using letter apple media or other learning media in helping overcoming reading difficulties for lowed grade elementary school students is the creation of more advance education because using teaching media aims to help students achieve their learning goals so that students will get better achievement result good.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: Good academic achievement will be fulfilled if students have the motivation to excel but some students have problems with the motivation to achieve. The purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of self-regulation strategies in increasing student achievement motivation. Methodology: This study uses an experimental quantitative method with a one group pre-test post-test research design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, a research sample of 10 students in grade V of SDN Kedung Waduk 01 Sragen. The data collected is in the form of a score in the form of a percentage. The validity of the data was tested using pretest and posttest. Data analysis was carried out using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. Main Findings: The results of the study showed an increase in the percentage of student achievement motivation indicators by 71.2 (high) from the initial condition of 25.9 (low). Self-regulation strategy with a standard deviation of 09.95 and a standard error mean of 4.70. After receiving treatment, the self-regulation strategy was seen to increase with a standard deviation of 8.74 and a mean error standard of 4.00. Novelty/Originality of this study: It can be concluded that the motivation of students to achieve achievement after receiving treatment (Self Regulation Strategy) is higher before receiving treatment (Self Regulation Strategy).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in developing the character of responsibility in thematic learning of Pancasila and Civics Education (PPKn) content in grade III elementary school. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with classroom teachers, and analysis of learning documents. The results showed that teachers have a central role in shaping the character of responsibility through various teaching strategies, such as giving assignments that require individual and group responsibility, and implementing positive discipline in the classroom. Teachers also act as role models in demonstrating an attitude of responsibility, which is exemplified through consistency in daily rules and behavior. Thematic learning with Civics content has proven to be effective in integrating responsibility values, because it allows students to understand concepts in a broader context and is relevant to everyday life. In addition, the involvement of parents and the community in the learning process also strengthens the cultivation of responsibility character. This study concludes that the role of teachers is crucial in the formation of responsible character in students.
