Abstract

Abstract This research investigates the use of recycled materials as educational media designed to enrich early childhood learning experiences. The study aims to understand how these materials affect children’s participation, foster creativity, support cognitive growth, and build environmental awareness. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were gathered through observation, interviews, and documentation at a local early childhood education center. Results indicate that learning activities involving recycled items promote higher levels of student engagement and help develop fine motor skills, while also nurturing an early sense of ecological responsibility. Teachers observed that children responded with greater enthusiasm when working with everyday items like bottle caps, newspapers, and cardboard. Integrating these materials into lessons not only encourages creative thinking but also introduces concepts of sustainability in a hands-on manner. Educators found this approach helpful for designing lessons that are both accessible and meaningful, inspiring children to use their imagination and care for the environment. While the findings point to recycled materials as valuable resources in early education, the study was conducted within a limited context and over a short period. Further research involving wider settings and longer observation is recommended to better understand the long-term effects. The insights gained here are relevant for educators seeking to incorporate sustainable practices and environmental values into early learning.

Abstract

Circumcision is a surgical procedure that involves the removal of the foreskin (prepuce) covering the glans penis. This procedure is typically performed to eliminate smegma, which results from the accumulation of fluids in the foreskin area, causing unpleasant odor and increasing the risk of infection. In Islam, circumcision is a religious practice exemplified since the time of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), peace be upon him. This literature review discusses circumcision from both a medical and Islamic perspective. The findings indicate that circumcision is performed based on medical indications such as phimosis, paraphimosis, and balanitis, both as a treatment and as a preventive measure against recurrence. Additionally, circumcision has been linked to a reduced risk of urinary tract infections (UTIs) and HIV transmission. In Islamic terminology, circumcision is referred to as khitan. It is strongly grounded in Islamic jurisprudence and is regarded as a significant practice for Muslim males. Circumcision is effective in reducing the incidence of phimosis, paraphimosis, balanitis, as well as the risks of UTIs and HIV transmission. In Islam, khitan is considered part of human nature (fitrah) and is deemed obligatory (wājib) by some schools of thought, while others regard it as a highly recommended (sunnah muakkadah) practice.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the Pentahelix model strategy on increasing the potential of creative industries in Paloh Naga Agrotourism. The Pentahelix model involves five main elements which work together to develop the community-based tourism destinations. This research uses a descriptive approach to describe tourism development through the Pentahelix model systematically and accurately. This research results show there is a challenge in the form of a decrease in the number of visitors after harvest which has an impact on local community income, because tourism activities are very dependent on the beauty of newly planted rice fields. But, during the pre-harvest period, tourist attraction and community income are higher. Based on these findings, the results of interviews using the Pentahelix strategy produced several strategies to overcome these challenges, including digital promotional assistance through the use of social and electronic media, providing breakfast and lunch culinary that combine traditional food and contemporary food, traditional arts performances, increasing the completeness of facilities and infrastructure, intensive promotions involving influencers. Implementation of this strategy can increase the number of tourist visits in the post-harvest period and have a positive impact on increasing people's income, even though Paloh Naga Agrotourism is in the post-harvest period

Abstract

This study looks at how financial literacy, education, and income affect investing decisions among professionals in Indonesia, with financial management acting as a middleman. This study used a quantitative method with a full sample of 155 employees at the Smart City & Community Innovation Center (SCCIC). It collected data through structured questionnaires and analyzed it using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that being financially literate and educated makes people better at managing their money, which in turn has a big effect on their investing choices. Income has a direct effect on investment selections, but it doesn't have a big effect on how people manage their money. Interestingly, being financially educated has a direct negative effect on investment decisions, which means that those who know more about money tend to be more careful and picky investors. The way people manage their money is an important link between literacy, education, and investing choices. These results show how important it is to teach people about money in a way that focuses on behavior to encourage smart and long-term investment participation. The study gives policymakers and financial educators useful advice on how to help people in developing countries get better investment results. Abstract

Outer beauty is physical beauty, the appearance that is visible to our five senses (Indriya, 2010:4). Outer beauty, in Syata (2012:58) outer beauty such as, white skin, good appearance, clean and a face that is more immediately prominent and visible. Beauty is something that is identical to women, where beauty itself is interpreted as a beauty and has an attraction. Data from all visitors to the Benings Clinic from August 2023 to October 2024 totaling 1,876 people. The sample is part of the number and characteristics possessed by the population. And the determination of the sampling technique used is sample random sampling, which is a sampling technique from population members that is carried out randomly without considering the strata in the population. Simple Random Sampling requirements from simple random sampling techniques: 1) This technique is used if the population elements are homogeneous, so that any element selected as a sample can represent the population. 2) It is done if the research analysis tends to be descriptive and general. And the number of samples is 95 people. From the research results, it is known that the calculated F value (18.629) is greater than the F table (3.09) and sig 0.000 0.05. This means that simultaneously brand ambassador (X1) has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions (Y). and brand image (X2) simultaneously has a negative effect on purchasing decisions (Y).
