Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of madrasah-based quality improvement management at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 5 Bulukumba, South Sulawesi. This research is a qualitative study with a phenomenological approach. The data sources in this study were obtained through the headmaster, teachers, education personnel, and the local community around Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 5 Bulumba. The data collection techniques used are observations, interviews, and documentation. Processing techniques and data analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and verification or withdrawal of conclusions. The results showed that the madrasah-based quality management at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 5 Bulukumba was essentially applied through the involvement of various parties to perform activities in the Madrasah, but not yet walked in accordance with the expected. This is characterized by the lack of discipline of the madrasah and still lack of cooperation with parents of students or communities in the implementation of madrasah-based quality management.

Abstract

This article discusses the relationship between innovation in madrasah principals and the welfare level of Madrasah Tsanawiyah teachers in Dua Boccoe District, Bone Regency. This type of research is classified as quantitative (correlational) research with methodological (positivistic-quantitative) and scientific (sociological and psychological) approaches. The population in this study were 77 teachers taken from all existing teachers at Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Dua Boccoe District, Bone Regency. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire, while the analysis thechique used was descriptive analysis with hypothesis testing using product moment correlation analysis. The results of the study were: 1) the reality of the innovation ability of Madrasah Tsanawiyah principals in Dua Boccoe District in the very good category with a percentage of 62.33%; 2) the reality of the welfare level of Madrasah Tsanawiyah teachers in Dua Boccoe District, Bone Regency is in the very good category with a percentage of 67.53%; 3) there is a correlation between the principal’s ability to innovate and the welfare of Madrasah Tsanawiyah teachers in Dua Boccoe District, Bone Regency. Evidenced by the correlation coefficient velue of correlation and is in the interval 0.40-0.599.

Abstract

The main issue of this research is how the historical review of Islamic education in Mulnithi Azizstan Madrasa in Pattani-Southern Thailand. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research that uses phenomenological, pedagogical, and psychological approaches. The researcher took the location in Mulnithi Azizstan Madrasa Pattani South Thailand. The findings showed that the early history of Islamic education in Pattani Thailand began in 1961 in the government of Sarit Tanarat by proposing a modernization program for Islamic boarding schools which was transformed into a private Islamic education school. After that policy, the growth of Islamic boarding schools is increasing rapidly. One of them is the Mulnithi Azizstan Madrasa. The concept of Islamic education institution in Mulnithi Azizstan Madrasa initially used the concept of Suffah in the time of its establishment. At present, the madrasa uses the concept of Halaqah and Majelis as the ways for students to learn. Finally, Mulnithi Azizstan Madrasa changed the learning system into each class.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the description of the principal's leadership management in improving the spiritual intelligence of students at SMK YP-PGRI I Makassar and to explain the impact of the principal's leadership management in improving the spiritual intelligence of students at SMK YP-PGRI I Makassar. The type of research used in this research is qualitative. The results showed that the principal was able to manage all school resources, including Educators, Education Personnel, Students, infrastructure, finance, administration, planning of learning programs, programs of religious activities (spiritual activities), and others. other. Planning of school learning programs through structured scheduling by the Deputy Head of Curriculum with the involvement of the Principal and Educators in the preparation. The Principal of SMK YP-PGRI I Makassar seeks to organize educators and education staff through the division of tasks to each educator and education staff based on their potential and educational background, namely the distribution of task decrees in the hope that educators and education staff can work according to their job descriptions each.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the reasoning level profile of students by using Ranking Task Exercise questions in the physics learning material for Work and Energy for class X MIPA at SMAN 24 Bone. The dependent variable in this study is the level of students' reasoning with this type of quantitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were students of class X MIPA SMAN 24 Bone, totaling 49 people. The research instrument used was a question in a Ranking Task Exercise of ten numbers. Based on the research results, students' most common level of reasoning is the second level of reasoning category, namely subfunctional as many as 24 people with a percentage of 49%. The cause of the reasoning level of most students in the subfunctional category is that students still feel unfamiliar with questions in the form of the Ranking Task Exercise, so they have difficulty answering questions. In addition, the distance between giving material and giving questions is far enough that students have forgotten the concept of Work and Energy material. From this study, it can be concluded that the level of reasoning of students is still low. The order of the students' reasoning starts from the most to the least, namely sub-functional, unstructured/alternative, near functional, functional, and expert. This research implies that after the results of this research are obtained, it can be said that by knowing the level profile of students' reasoning in learning physics, it is expected to be an evaluation material for educators to apply an approach that can train students' scientific reasoning in learning physics.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and examine the correlation between madrasah climate and culture, and teachers’ work motivation at Madrasah Tsanawiyah in West Sinjai District of Sinjai Regency. This research uses a correlational study with quantitative approach. The participants of this research are 64 teachers from Madrasah Tsanawiyah in West Sinjai District. Data collection technique with questionnaires and then analyzed by using product moment correlation for partial testing and multiple correlation for simultaneous testing. The research reveals some significant findings. First, the finding indicates a positive correlation between madrasah climate and teachers’ work motivation by correlation coefficient value at 0,448 (which is at moderate level correlation). Second, the finding indicates a positive correlation between madrasah culture and teachers’ work motivation by correlation coefficient value at 0,559 (which is at moderate level correlation). Third, the finding indicates a positive correlation between madrasah clime and culture, and teachers’ work motivation by correlation coefficient value at 0,572 (which is at moderate level correlation).

Abstract

This research is a survey research. Surveys are used to collect correct data or information using a relatively small sample. The purpose of this study was to describe the reading interest of class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Watansoppeng on the narrative text of Bugis language. This research was conducted on September 13 - October 11 in the odd semester of 2020/2021. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Watansoppeng, totaling 192 students. Sampling in this study used the Krejcie and Morgan tables. The sample in this study were 127 students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Watansoppeng. The data collection technique used was to provide online questionnaires via Google Form to students. Reading Interests of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 1 Watansoppeng towards Narrative Texts in Bugis language are in the medium category with a percentage value of 64.6% (82 students) of 127 students. This means that basically students like reading narrative text in Bugis language, but more because in the context of doing school work, not because they have reading interest in the narrative text in Bugis language

Abstract

This thesis discusses the influence of the type of learning model Active Learning Guided Note Taking with the use of Worksheet learners to the learning outcomes of students in tenth grade material biodiversity MA DDI AT-Taufiq Padaelo. This study aims to determine student learning outcomes are not using model Active Learning Type Guided Note Taking with the use of worksheets learners, to determine student learning outcomes by using model Active Learning Type Guided Note Taking (Note Guided) with the use of worksheets learners and to examine whether there is influence learning model Active Learning Guided Type Note Taking with the use of worksheets learners on the results of class X student MA DDI AT-Taufiq Padaelo.This research is a Quasi-Experimental Design, using a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all students of class X MA DDI AT-Taufiq Padaelo the academic year 2015/2016. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling technique with a total sample of 42 people. The instrument used was a test. Processing techniques and analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential analysis.The research showed the average value of student learning outcomes using model Guided Note Taking (Note Guided) with the use of worksheets learners of = 61.67, while the average student learning outcomes that do not use Active learning models Guided Learning Type Note taking (Note Guided) with the use of worksheet learners of = 49.33. The results of inferential analysis of data using SPSS 20 indicates that the value obtained t 3.660> ttabel1,684 and significance (0.001 <0.05). It can be concluded that there is influence learning model Active Learning Guided type Note Taking (Note Guided) with the use of worksheets learners to the learning outcomes of students in tenth grade material biodiversity MA DDI AT-Taufiq Padaelo.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan penilaian kinerja teknik peer assessment pada pembelajaran biologi kelas XI yang memenuhi kriteria valid, reliabel dan praktis untuk digunakan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan di bidang pendidikan yang dikenal dengan Research and Development (R & D) yang mengacu pada model pengembangan 4-D yang dimodifikasi menjadi model 3-D, yakni define (pendefinisian), design (perancangan) dan develope (pengembangan). Subjek uji dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi, angket respon guru dan angket respon siswa. Analisa penelitian dengan menggunakan analisa data deskriptif-kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian berupa produk penilaian kinerja teknik peer assessment dengan 10 aspek/kinerja yang dinilai. Produk yang dihasilkan memenuhi kategori sangat valid dengan nilai 3,53, tingkat konsistensi atau reliabilitas sangat tinggi dengan nilai 0.87 dengan persentase kepraktisan 82.5% responden yang memberikan respon positif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa, mengetahui kesulitan yang dihadapi guru dan mengetahui solusi yang ditempuh dalam mengatasi kesulitan guru dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa di kelas XII di SMA Negeri 2 Gowa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sampel purposif dalam penelitian ini adalah 3 guru biologi dan 67 siswa kelas XII IPA di sekolah SMA Negeri 2 Gowa.. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data dibagi atas 2 yaitu instrumen butir tes untuk kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi  dan pedoman wawancara untuk mengetahui kesulitan dan solusi yang ditempuh untuk mengatasi kesulitann guru. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan mereduksi, menyimpulkan dan menampilkan data. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dapat diketahui bahwa kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa yaitu tergolong rendah. Kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh gurudiantaranya adalah guru sulit mengatasi kemampuan siswa yang berbeda-beda, kurang mampu dalam menentukan metode dan model pembelajaran yang tepat, kurang memahami mengenai berpikir tingkat tinggi, membuat siswa merasa tertarik dalam merespon apersepsi yang diberikan, kurang mampu menyesuaikan antara soal dengan kata kerja operasional, dan belum mampu mengatasi siswa yang mempunyai perbedaaan cara untuk menunjukkan kemampuannya dalam berpikir. Sedangkan solusi yang dapat ditempuh untuk mengatasi kesulitan guru dalam pembelajaran yaitu melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran secara berkelompok kepada siswa, diadakan pelatihan mengenai pengembangan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa, melakukan kegiatan apersepsi dengan gaya yang berbeda dengan biasanya, belajar untuk meningkatkan kapasitas yang diperlukan dalam proses pembelajaran, lebih banyak membaca referensi terkait bagaimana cara membuat tes, mengakumulasikan nilai yang diperoleh siswa, belajar untuk membuat instrumen penilaian.
