Abstract

This research aims to assess the effectiveness of the Edpuzzle interactive video platform in enhancing the listening abilities of the seventh-grade students of SMPN 1 Sungguminasa. The objective is derived from the issue identified subsequent to the pre-survey, which revealed that the students' listening scores were below the standard. The researcher used the Classroom Action Research (CAR), comprising two cycles, each involving four steps: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection involved observations, pre-tests, post-tests, student feedback and documentation. The researcher chose 38 students of the seventh-grade students of SMPN 1 Sungguminasa. The researchers introduced EdPuzzle, an e-learning platform, to the students. Before the study commenced, both researchers and students practiced using it and shared the first and second-cycle test outcomes via a WhatsApp group. The findings indicated that EdPuzzle positively impacted the listening skills of the seventh-grade students of SMPN 1 Sungguminasa. This was evident in the average test score increase from the post-tests, showing a rise of 20% in cycle 1 and 71% in cycle II.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of English Language Learning activities and outcomes of students in class VIII.4 SMP Negeri 3 Alla through TGT type Cooperative Learning model. This study used two cycles of action research. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely, planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research were students of class VIII.4 SMP Negeri 3 Alla with a total of 29 students consisting of 14 boys and 15 girls. Based on all the discussion and analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that by applying the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model, it can be seen that students' learning outcomes in the English subject of Asking and Giving Opinions in class VIII.4 SMP Negeri 3 Alla has increased. After conducting research for two cycles the results obtained by using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model, student learning outcomes have improved compared to before using it, namely in cycle I the average value was 69.48% with classical learning completeness of 41.37% while the average learning outcomes in cycle II were 78.44, while classical learning completeness was 82.75%.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop Android-based interactive learning media using the Articulate Storyline 3 application for teaching computer hardware in Grade VII Informatics classes. The development model used was ADDIE, involving expert validation and effectiveness testing in both experimental and control classes. Validation results indicated the media was highly feasible, with average Likert-scale scores above 4.4. Effectiveness testing showed a significant improvement in students’ conceptual understanding and learning motivation in the experimental class, with an N-Gain score of 0.77 (high category) and motivation levels increasing from “High” to “Very High.” These findings support the integration of Android-based technology in education as an effective strategy to improve learning outcomes, especially in abstract and technical subjects.

Abstract

This article aims to examine and compare two forms of contemporary Islamic education development, namely international Islamic education and global Islamic education. This research uses a literature study method using a descriptive qualitative approach, the discussion focuses on the characteristics, scope, curriculum, and use of technology of the two educational models. The results of the study show that international Islamic education emphasises a formal academic system with a global standard curriculum such as Cambridge and IB, while global Islamic education is more flexible and emphasises the spread of Islamic values through non-formal and digital approaches across countries. This comparison is important in facing the challenges of globalisation and the needs of Muslims for quality education rooted in Islamic values.

Abstract

Studi ini dimotivasi oleh motivasi rendah untuk belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Pemasangan dan Konfigurasi Perangkat Jaringan serta keterbatasan sarana praktik di laboratorium. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi seberapa efektif penerapan Virtual Laboratory Client-Server yang berlandaskan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dalam meningkatkan semangat belajar siswa kelas XI TKJ di SMK Negeri 1 Kadipaten. Metode yang diterapkan adalah eksperimen kuasi dengan rancangan pengembangan ADDIE, melibatkan kelompok percobaan dan kelompok yang tidak menerima perlakuan. Alat yang dipakai untuk menilai dorongan belajar adalah Skala Motivasi Akademis (AMS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Virtual Laboratory Client-Server yang diintegrasikan dengan model PjBL memberikan peningkatan signifikan pada motivasi belajar siswa, baik dari dimensi intrinsik maupun ekstrinsik. Virtual laboratorium client-server mendukung berbagai sistem jaringan seperti Mikrotik, Cisco, Linux, dan Windows, dan memungkinkan simulasi jaringan dengan kondisi yang realistis dan fleksibel. Dalam pembelajaran yang berfokus pada proyek, pendekatan PjBL mengajak murid untuk meningkatkan imajinasi, terlibat secara langsung, dan mengambil tanggung jawab. Secara keseluruhan, penerapan teknologi Virtual Laboratory berbasis client-server yang dipadukan dengan model pembelajaran yang sesuai seperti Project Based Learning (PjBL) memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap proses pembelajaran praktikum pada mata pelajaran pemasangan dan konfigurasi perangkat jaringan, baik dari aspek motivasi, partisipasi, maupun pemahaman siswa terhadap materi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan pembelajaran Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dengan pendekatan microlearning berbasis Learning Management System (LMS) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan logical thinking siswa SMA pada mata pelajaran Informatika. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan dua kelompok, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa pretest dan posttest logical thinking yang dikembangkan berdasarkan indikator Lawson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kemampuan logical thinking siswa pada kelas eksperimen dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol, dengan gain score yang lebih tinggi pada kelas eksperimen. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pendekatan pembelajaran PBL berbasis microlearning dalam LMS efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir logis siswa.

Abstract

Disposal of trade waste and household waste has negative impacts, such as land shifts, floods, air pollution, and other disasters. The same thing happened in Batujaya, precisely in the hamlet of South Bakung, where the river is the most practical place for disposing of waste. The purpose of this paper is to describe the research points: 1). How is the water crisis as a form of environmental damage in the people of Batujaya Karawang; 2). How does Seyyed Hossein Nasr's analysis of environmental theology view the water crisis as environmental damage. This research is a direct field research, using qualitative descriptive method, and Seyyed Hosein Nasr's theory of environmental theology as the analytical knife. The results of this study found that first, the people of Batujaya, especially the South Bakung community, were in danger of throwing garbage into the river. Second, the lack of anticipation from the government and the sanctions given to the people of Batujaya, especially in South Bakung, for the disposal of trade waste and household waste into the river. Third, make people in Batujaya, especially in South Bakung aware, not to throw garbage into the river anymore by means of physical and spiritual socialization.

Abstract

Fenomena penindasan terhadap manusia seringkali disebabkan oleh faktor asal keturunan, ras, jenis kelamin, warna kulit, kekayaan, dan kekuasaan. Teologi pembebasan Hanafi membawa cara pandang baru terhadap realitas kehidupan manusia yang lebih humanis. Hassan Hanafi ingin membawa Islam kembali pada hakekat yang sebenarnya yaitu sebagai agama pembebasan yang peduli dan responsif terhadap permasalahan-permasalahan yang menyangkut tentang kemanusiaan. Pemikiran Hassan Hanafi mengenai teologi pembebasan berlandaskan pada ajaran Tauhid yang merupakan ajaran paling inti dalam Islam. Ajaran Tauhid menempatkan manusia pada derajat yang sama, ia menolak segala bentuk diskriminasi terhadap manusia berdasarkan asal keturunan, ras, warna kulit, jenis kelamin, kekayaan, dan kekuasaan. Akan tetapi pada tatanan realitas kehidupan nyatanya berbeda, masih saja seringkali terjadi penindasan, eksploitasi, dan ketidakadilan yang diiringi diskriminasi berdasarkan asal keturunan, ras, jenis kelamin, kekayaan, dan kekuasaan. Sehingga perlu adanya perjuangan sosial yang dapat membebaskan manusia dari penindasan-penindasan tersebut. Dan pandangan teologi pembebasan memiliki corak yang humanis karena penuh empati kemanusiaan. Sebagaimana ajaran yang dibawa oleh Islam merupakan rahmatan lil ‘alamin dimana Allah mengutus manusia untuk membawa rahmat, keselamatan, kasih sayang bagi seluruh alam. Sehingga ajaran atau teologi pembebasan memiliki tujuan atau visi yang sama dengan Al-Qur’an dan cita-cita kemanusiaan untuk keadilan dan menyelamatkan manusia dari segala bentuk penindasan, eksploitasi, dan ketidakadilan yang terjadi di dunia ini. Tulisan ini menggunakan teknik Library Research atau studi kepustakaan untuk memperoleh sumber-sumber datanya.

Abstract

The development of the Society 5.0 era demands the formation of the character of the young generation who are able to adapt morally and spiritually in a world dominated by technology and information. In this context, the role of teachers is not only as a transmitter of material, but also as a facilitator of character education based on Islamic values is very important. This article aims to explore the strategic role of teachers as facilitators of Islamic character education in forming people with character amidst the challenges of globalization and digital disruption. With a descriptive qualitative approach, this study examines the literature and observations of character education practices in various educational units. The results show that teachers who internalize Islamic values consistently are able to become effective role models, motivators, and companions in forming the character of students who have integrity, empathy, and global insight.ABSTRAKPerkembangan era Society 5.0 menuntut pembentukan karakter generasi muda yang mampu beradaptasi secara moral dan spiritual dalam dunia yang didominasi oleh teknologi dan informasi. Dalam konteks ini, peran guru tidak hanya sebagai penyampai materi, tetapi juga sebagai fasilitator pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai-nilai Islam menjadi sangat penting. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran strategis guru sebagai fasilitator pendidikan karakter Islam dalam membentuk insan berkarakter di tengah tantangan globalisasi dan disrupsi digital. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, studi ini mengkaji literatur dan observasi praktik pendidikan karakter di berbagai satuan pendidikan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa guru yang menginternalisasi nilai-nilai Islam secara konsisten mampu menjadi teladan, motivator, dan pendamping yang efektif dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik yang berintegritas, empatik, dan berwawasan global.

Abstract

This abstract aims to analyze the process of Islamic education reform in three Middle Eastern countries, namely Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkey, which face challenges in balancing the preservation of traditional Islamic values and the need for modernization based on science and technology. This study uses a qualitative approach with literature review to explore educational policies and socio-political dynamics that influence the transformation of Islamic education in the three countries. The findings reveal that Saudi Arabia, through its Vision 2030, focuses on moderating religious teachings and reforming the curriculum to create a globally competitive generation. Egypt attempts to integrate Al-Azhar education with the secular education system despite facing epistemological dualism. Turkey strengthens Islamic education through Imam Hatip schools under a secular state framework. This study identifies that the success of educational reform is greatly influenced by political and ideological contexts and the readiness of human resources. The implications of this study include the importance of curriculum flexibility and teacher training to respond to the challenges of the 21st century.
