Abstract

Abstract: Stress and burnout among elementary school teachers in Indonesia are critical issues impacting not only the well-being of educators but also the quality of education delivered to students. This study identifies multiple factors contributing to teacher stress, including high workloads, administrative demands, frequent curriculum changes, and socio-economic challenges. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic further exacerbated these issues by introducing new challenges, such as the sudden transition to remote learning. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, data were collected from 175 elementary school teachers in Garut Regency through a semantic differential scale to measure stress levels. The findings revealed that the curriculum is the primary source of stress for teachers, followed by gender, age, school accreditation, employment status, and the presence of "Sekolah Penggerak" (Movement Schools). Female teachers and those in the 25-35 age range experienced the highest stress levels, particularly in schools with lower accreditation. Additionally, honorary teachers faced significant stress due to job insecurity and insufficient income, highlighting socio-economic disparities within the teaching profession. The study underscores the urgency of addressing systemic issues, including providing robust professional development programs, enhancing teacher support systems, and ensuring equitable policies for all educators. Effective strategies to manage teacher stress must adopt a holistic approach, integrating institutional and individual interventions. By improving teacher well-being, schools can foster a more supportive environment that enhances both educator satisfaction and student learning outcomes. The study's insights contribute to the broader discourse on improving teacher retention and elevating the standards of education in Indonesia. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi berbagai faktor penyebab stres guru, seperti beban kerja yang tinggi, tuntutan administratif, perubahan kurikulum yang sering terjadi, serta tantangan sosial-ekonomi. Abstract

Pelatihan teknologi pengolahan silase jerami jagung dilaksanakan sebagai bagian kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat Program Pemberdayaan Wilayah Kecamatan Patampanua Kabupaten Pinrang. Pelatihan pengolahan silase jerami jagung sebagai pakan sapi potong bertujuan untuk meningkatkan  keterampilan dan penguasaan teknologi petani peternak dalam hal pakan ternak. Tahapan kegiatan pelatihan pengolahan silase jerami jagung meliputi tahapan persiapan dan  pelaksanaan, dan pendampingan kegiatan. Dalam pelaksanaan pelatihan, respon peternak sangat tinggi. Peternak memahami dengan baik pengolahan silase jerami jagung sehingga terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan peternak dalam usaha penyediaan pakan untuk sapi potong. Pelatihan silase jerami jagung berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta secara signifikan di semua aspek, terutama pada bahan fermentasi dan alat pengolahan, berkat pendekatan yang terstruktur.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan Machine Learning (ML) dalam mendukung pemahaman siswa SMK Pertanian di Indonesia terhadap isu perubahan iklim. Melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR), artikel-artikel relevan dikumpulkan dari basis data ERIC dan Science Direct dan dianalisis secara tematik untuk menemukan pola serta kontribusi utama dari ML dalam pembelajaran mitigasi perubahan iklim. Temuan utama menunjukkan bahwa penerapan ML dalam kurikulum berpotensi memperkuat keterampilan analisis siswa terkait perubahan iklim, memberi wawasan praktis mengenai strategi mitigasi, dan adaptasi yang dapat diimplementasikan. Hasil ini mengindikasikan adanya dampak positif ML dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual siswa terhadap isu-isu lingkungan. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa integrasi ML ke dalam kurikulum pendidikan SMK Pertanian di Indonesia bisa menjadi strategi efektif untuk mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi tantangan perubahan iklim, sekaligus berkontribusi pada pembangunan berkelanjutan. Namun, kesenjangan penelitian masih ada terkait penerapan ML dalam pendidikan mitigasi perubahan iklim di tingkat SMK, khususnya pada konteks kurikulum berbasis kompetensi.

Abstract

This research aimed to understand the characteristics of the pesantren’s culture, which is based on transnational culture. This study utilized a mixed-methods approach, including interviews with pesantren leaders and students and participant observations within the pesantren community. The findings revealed that transnational culture within pesantren is influenced by global Islamic discourses and practices while maintaining traditional Indonesian cultural elements. Understanding these characteristics is crucial for policymakers and educators to address the evolving landscape of Islamic education in Indonesia. Further research is needed to explore the impact of transnational culture on the development of pesantren in the future. The Salafi’s Islamic Boarding School, Zād al-Maʿād, was chosen as the research site for that purpose. The approach employed in this research is cultural anthropology with data collection tools in documentation studies, observations, and interviews. The findings emphasize the adaptability of Salafi pesantren to local customs and traditions, showcasing a unique blend of global ideology and local practices that contribute to the movement's continued success in Indonesia. Based on qualitative analysis, the boarding school is also an agent of Islamic preaching in spreading Salafi’s understanding and a center for the cadre of Salafi’s preachers from a young age. The Salafi’s network can use its program to organize various international programs.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between learning resources and students' English learning achievement. This research uses a quantitative approach and correlational methods. The sample in this study was 30 students of class VIII i of SMP Negeri 13 Makassar, and the sample was selected using random sampling technique. Data was obtained from questionnaire answers of 30 respondents and tests of 30 respondents and then correlated. The results of the research concluded that the correlation between learning resources and students' English learning achievement obtained rxy results amounting to 0.376, (between 0.210 - 0.400) where the two variables have a low degree of correlation and a positive form of correlation. It can be concluded that the hypothesis which states that there is a relationship between learning resources and students' English learning achievement is accepted. So, whatever learning resources the teacher uses should be in accordance with the learning objectives so that they can support the student learning process and obtain optimal results.Keywords: Learning Resources, Learning Achievement

Abstract

The objective of this research was to evaluate whether the Word Wall application effectively improves students' English vocabulary mastery. Typically, teaching aids and applications aim to make learning more engaging and motivating. This study used a pre-experimental design with pre-test and post-test measurements to assess the impact of the Word Wall application. Conducted at SMK Handayani Makassar with 96 tenth-grade students, the research focused on a sample of 23 students from Class X TBSM-TKR, selected through cluster random sampling. The data, analyzed using a paired samples t-test, showed an increase in mean scores from 68.52 in the pre-test to 90.00 in the post-test. With a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.00, which is less than 0.05, the results indicate that the Word Wall application was effective in enhancing students' vocabulary mastery.Student perceptions of the Word Wall application were positive, reflecting its effectiveness in improving English vocabulary mastery. According to the previous chapter, students' mean score was 51.04 with a standard deviation of 2.40, suggesting that the application increased student motivation by making the learning process more engaging, reducing boredom, and fostering greater interest and enthusiasm for vocabulary learning.Keywords: Word Wall Application, Learning Media, and Vocabulary Mastery

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology opens up great opportunities to increase the creativity of learning content, including in Javanese language learning. This study aims to explore how AI can support teachers in creating creative and interesting Javanese language learning materials for students. This study adopts a qualitative approach with the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method using secondary data from various scientific articles. Data sources were obtained from Google Scholar, accredited national journals, and reputable international journals. Data collection was carried out through documentation techniques, with strict selection criteria based on the 2022-2024 publication range, publisher reputation, and relevance to the research topic. Data were analyzed through a process of summarizing, synthesizing, and comparing key findings from various literatures, as well as critical evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of each study. The results of the study show that AI, through generative tools such as ChatGPT, DALL·E, Gamma, and so on, enables Javanese language teachers to create varied, interactive, and adaptive materials to students' needs. This technology not only enriches the learning process but also plays an important role in preserving the Javanese language and culture through more contextual and interesting learning methods.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi digital telah menjadi elemen penting dalam upaya inovasi pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan efektivitas kegiatan di kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana integrasi teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, memfasilitasi pembelajaran kolaboratif, serta mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih personal dan adaptif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah tinjauan pustaka, yang mengkaji berbagai jurnal, artikel, dan laporan terkait implementasi teknologi digital dalam konteks pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknologi digital, seperti platform pembelajaran online, aplikasi interaktif, dan perangkat berbasis kecerdasan buatan, memberikan dampak positif terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran. Teknologi ini mampu meningkatkan motivasi siswa, memperluas akses ke sumber belajar, dan memungkinkan pendekatan pembelajaran yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan individu. Selain itu, fitur-fitur interaktif pada platform digital terbukti mendorong partisipasi aktif dan kolaborasi antar siswa. Namun, hasil penelitian juga menyoroti tantangan yang masih dihadapi, termasuk kesenjangan akses terhadap teknologi digital, keterbatasan infrastruktur, serta kebutuhan pelatihan bagi tenaga pendidik untuk mengoptimalkan penggunaan teknologi tersebut.

Abstract

Perkembangan era digital telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk pendidikan. Namun tantangan yang muncul seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi memerlukan pembentukan karakter pendidikan yang kuat untuk mengatasi dampak negatif dan memaksimalkan manfaat positifnya. Filsafat ilmu dengan pendekatan kritis dan reflektif memberikan landasan yang kokoh dalam membangun karakter pendidikan yang tangguh di era digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran filsafat ilmu dalam membentuk nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dan moral dalam konteks digital. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah tinjauan pustaka, dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai sumber akademis mengenai peran filsafat ilmu dan tantangan pendidikan di era digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa filsafat ilmu berkontribusi dalam menumbuhkan sikap kritis, etika dan tanggung jawab dalam pendidikan. Dengan menerapkan nilai-nilai filsafat ilmu, lembaga pendidikan diharapkan mampu melahirkan generasi yang tidak hanya cerdas secara intelektual, namun juga mempunyai karakter dan etika yang kuat di tengah derasnya arus informasi dan teknologi.
