Abstract

The Jatiluhur Reservoir is the largest and multipurpose. Indonesia, currently faced with problems regarding the quality and quantity of water resource especially pollution problems. Inthis research has been conducted an analysis of the status of water quality and analysis of their impact on the threat to vital business process, especially with regard to management of water resources. The location research carried out at PerumJasaTirta II as the authority of Jatiluhur Reservoir. The data used in this research is primary data from the obtained field research activities throughthe sampling conducted at Jatiluhur reservoir water and the waters of river basin (DAS) after the Jatiluhur Reservoir outlet with reference to size the parameters of water quality using laboratory quality standard. The Analytical tools used are the method Business Impact Analysis and Storet. Chemical parameters above the quality standard limits are: dissolved oxygen, ferro (Fe), manganese (Mn), zinc (Zn), nitrite (NO2-N), nitrate (NO3-N), sulphate (SO4), chloride (Cl), sulfide(H2S), BOD5, and COD.Condition of water quality can be said to have been classified as heavily polluted (categoryD) byanthropogenic activities that are in the upper reaches of the riverCitarum and around JatiluhurReservoir waters. These conditions can threat and negatively impact vital business of the infrastructure, reservoirs, the availability of drinking water and irrigation water and other water biota.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of competency, training, and leadership style on the performance of employee of PT Bank XYZ in Wilayah Medan. The research population is all employees of PT Bank XYZ in the Medan Region. Total number of data surveyed were 75 employees. The Questionnaires were distributed with purposive sampling techniques method. The data obtained processed by using SEM-PLS to determine the effect of the variables tested. The results of the study indicate that training has a significant influence on competencies but does not have a direct influence on employee performance. Leadership has a significant influence on competencies and has a significant influence on employee performance. Competence has a significant influence on employee performance. The results of determining the Performance Improvement Strategy using the Analytical Hiercy Process obtained that the company needs to improve the criteria for quality improvement and the company compatible reward system.

Abstract

PT Catur Mitra Taruma is one of the cattle fattening companies having a role as a source of beef cattle inventory for the beef processing industry. However, this company has the potential to experience a variety of supply chain risks that can hamper the company's business processes in carrying out its operational activities. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the risks that potentially appear in the process of supply chain beef cattle at PT. Catur Mitra Taruma, asses and evaluate identified risks, and formulate priority risk of mitigation and risk of chain action. The identification of supply chain risk was done using the dimensions of Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR). The method used in this study was the House of Risk method, an analysis that aims to identify and prioritize the source of risk for effective mitigation measures to minimize the potential risk and the source of existing risks. The identification results showed that the source process had the greatest risk of a total of 29 identified risk events in the company. In addition, there were 13 priority risk sources based on the ranking order of the priority risk index (ARP), rating of the total of 45 identified risk sources in the company. From the results of risk management analysis, there are recommendations of 10 priority risk mitigation actions that can be applied in PT. Catur Mitra Taruma in a potential supply chain risk prevention action in the company.Keywords: supply chain, supply chain risk, risk management, House of Risk, cattle fattening business

Abstract

MSMEs have an important role and strategic in national economic development. The presence of MSMEs can increase workforce absorption, encourage economic growth and distribution of development results. In managing SMEs, skills and knowledge are required by the owner to be able to run the business properly, which can be acquired through the corporate management training program. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of a corporate management training program by seeing the competencies and performances of business owners after participating in training and creating an effective strategy to increase performance through the corporate management training program. The sample collection method in this study is census sampling from 30 respondents who participated in a management training program. Collected data is analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling – Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) Smart PLS 2.0 program for all variables and also Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The result of the findings shows that training influenced competency and performance significantly, while competency also influenced performance significantly. The alternative strategy that becomes a priority is to adjust the training topic specifically according to business owner needs. Abstract

A human capital strategy is comprehensive planning about how the company achieves its vision and mission through human resources. This study aimed to formulate a prioritization strategy of human capital development for improving company performance used the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The hierarchy of AHP was arranged by considering five criteria that include an actor, company strategy, human capital management practice, company performance, the role of human capital division, and there were five alternative strategies. A questionnaire of AHP was arranged and presented to seven experts who were chosen from a multinational bank in Indonesia, they provided judgments based on a priority scale for each criterion. The result of the study showed that an actor who was prioritized was the human capital manager. The prioritization of the company strategy was the defender strategy. A human capital management practice that was prioritized was recruitment and selection. The prioritization of company performance was financial and the role of human capital division that was prioritized as a strategic partner. An alternative strategy that was prioritized to be implemented was building effective recruitment and selection systems. In conclusion, the company's performance can be improved through implementing effective recruitment and selection strategies and using validated psychometric instruments. Abstract

Strengthening innovation for entrepreneur is very important because nowadays consumers are smarter and they demand to meet their needs in terms of quality, renewal and price. Small businesses and beginners are often unable to achieve business sustainability. Therefore, innovative capabilities are needed to meet consumer's needs and to achieve business sustainability. By using an entrepreneurial ecosystem approach through elements of actors, factors, enthusiasm and interrelated processes that can strengthen the innovation of entrepreneur. The main purpose of this paper is to analyze the dynamics of entrepreneurial innovation so that factors to strengthen innovation can be identified. This study uses Soft System Methodology (SSM) through the application of SSM steps to obtain a conceptual model to strengthen innovation for entrepreneur. This research was conducted for 6 months, by conducting in-depth interviews with 50 respondents consisting of government, academics, community leaders and business actors. The results showed that a strong will from within the entrepreneur and the use of technology are key factors in strengthening entrepreneurial innovation. Abstract

 ABSTRACT Malacca Strait was the busiest strait the world, where most of distribution lines of sea transportation pass through. However, there were some issues in this area, including security and safety issues, which could interfere the business operation and threaten national resilience. On the other hand, the high cost of the efforts to maintained the security and safety in the area burdens the government. Departing from this background, this research  aimed to developed a strategy in handling sea transportation system in order to achieved the equilibrium between economy efficiency and the effectiveness of the government in maintaining security and safety of the shipping traffic in Malacca Strait. This study was a problem solving-based research using Soft System Methodology and Analytical Hierarchy Process.  As the results, The Integrated Piloting Strategy had been developed as a recommendation to be implemented.  With this strategy the ships that passed through the Malacca Strait were advised to adopted Integrated Piloting, in which the Pilots together with the security guards, would be on board and helped the ship to passed through Malacca Strait safely and securely. By that, the safety and security were guaranteed and the business objectives were achievedABSTRAK  Moda transportasi laut merupakan sarana utama distribusi logistik di dunia.  Sebagian besar alur distribusi ini melewati wilayah perairan Selat Malaka, menjadikan Selat Malaka sebagai selat tersibuk di dunia, yang mana 75 persen perairannya merupakan wilayah Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia (NKRI).  Namun demikian terdapat beberapa permasalahan di wilayah Selat Malaka tersebut, di antaranya permasalahan keamanan serta keselamatan yang berpotensi mengganggu kelancaran operasional bagi para pelaku bisnis serta mengancam ketahanan nasional.  Di sisi lain upaya menjaga keamanan serta keselamatan di wilayah tersebut membebani Pemerintah dengan biaya yang sangat besar. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan strategi di dalam menangani sistem transportasi laut agar terjadi kesetimbangan antara efisiensi ekonomi bagi pelaku bisnis, serta efektivitas instansi pemerintah dalam menjaga keamanan dan keselamatan pelayaran di Selat Malaka. Studi ini merupakan penelitian berbasis  problem solving menggunakan metode  Soft System Methodology (SSM) dan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP).            Sebagai hasil dari penelitian ini disusun rekomendasi berupa Strategi Pemanduan Terpadu di mana kapal-kapal yang melintasi Selat Malaka disarankan untuk menggunakan Pemanduan Terpadu yaitu petugas Pandu yang terintegrasi dengan keberadaan petugas keamanan yang turut on board di kapal selama melintas di Selat Malaka, dengan segala tantangannya, sehingga keamanan dan keselamatan terjamin, keuntungan bisnis tercapai serta terwujud efisiensi ekonomi bagi semua pihak yang terlibat..

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of organizationalstructure. Based on the results of the analysis of the range of criteria for 62 respondents, it shows that the organizational structure of NCTA at the time of the study was quite effective. Three components of organizational structure, complexity, formalization, and centralization have a significant relationship with the effectiveness of the organizational structure. These results were obtained from the Spearman Rank correlation test. The results of the AHP showed that among the criteria, thecomplexity criterion was of the highest important and the alternative strategy that becomes the main priority is competency measurement.Keywords: Effectiveness of Organizational Structure; National Counter Agency AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis efektivitas struktur organisasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis rentang kriteria 62 responden menunjukkan bahwa struktur organisasi KNKT pada saat penelitian cukup efektif. Tiga komponen struktur organisasi, kompleksitas, formalisasi, dan sentralisasi memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan efektivitas struktur organisasi. Hasil ini diperoleh dari uji korelasi Rank Spearman. Hasil AHP menunjukkan bahwa diantara kriteria tersebut, kriteria kompleksitas merupakan yang paling penting dan alternatif strategi yang menjadi prioritas utama adalah pengukuran kompetensi.Kata Kunci: Efektifitas Struktur Organisasi; Badan Kontra Nasional

Abstract

Abstract. This article aims to develop a model of human resources (HR) performance measurement for the nutmeg oil (Myristica fragrans) agro-industry in Aceh based on the Human Resource Scorecard (HRSC) method. The study uses the Relief method of system formulation to assess the effect of key performance attributes and to determine the association rules to facilitate the performance measurement system by taking into account the relationships between the attributes based on the support value and confidence value using Association Rules Mining (ARM). The analysis and design of the system are conducted using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method that includes the analysis of system requirements, and Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) using Sybase-Power Designer version 16.5. The results showed that the analysis system is successfully developed through describing in detail the process flow of the entire circuit system in the study. The Relief method for system design was capable of producing a rank system of key attributes in HR performance measurement, namely high-performance work system (HPWS) and human resource system alignment (HRSA). The advanced data handling process with ARM generated association rules with the three highest rankings of the overall HR performance measurement system.Keywords. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model sistem pengukuran kinerja sumber daya manusia (SDM) agroindustri minyak pala (Myristica fragrans) Aceh berdasarkan metode Human Resource Scorecard (HRSC). Formulasi sistem menggunakan metode Relief untuk mengetahui pengaruh kinerja utama dari suatu atribut yang dinilai dan menentukan aturan asosiasi untuk memudahkan pengukuran kinerja dengan memperhatikan hubungan antar atribut berdasarkan nilai penunjang dan nilai kepastian menggunakan metode Association Rules Mining (ARM). Analisis dan desain sistem dilakukan mengikuti metode System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) meliputi analisa kebutuhan sistem, use case diagram, dan Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) dengan menggunakan software Sybase-PowerDesigner version 16.5. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa analisis sistem berhasil dikembangkan dengan menggambarkan aliran proses secara detail dari seluruh rangkaian sistem yang dikaji. Desain sistem melalui metode Relief mampu menghasilkan perangkingan atribut utama dalam pengukuran kinerja SDM, yaitu sistem kerja performansi tinggi (high performance work system/HPWS) dan keselarasan sistem SDM (human resource system alignment/HRSA). Proses penanganan data lanjutan dengan ARM diperoleh aturan asosiasi dengan tiga peringkat tertinggi yang dapat mewakili keseluruhan sistem pengukuran kinerja SDM. Abstract

Dalam menghadapi persaingan global, dibutuhkan perencanaan yang baik agar Indonesia yang memiliki ukuran pasar yang paling tinggi serta didukung dengan pasar tenaga kerja yang cukup tinggi tidak hanya menjadi target pasar, tapi juga dapat berperan sebagai pelaku. Meskipun dalam pencapaian jumlah produk olahan perikanan Unit Pengolahan Ikan (UPI) mengalami peningkatan setiap tahunnya, tetapi dalam pelaksanaannya ditemui berbagai permasalahan, antara lain ketersediaan bahan baku yang tidak dapat diperkirakan (bahan baku tersebut dipengaruhi oleh cuaca, musim, sumber daya ikan dan impor bahan baku ikan), penerapan jaminan mutu yang masih belum optimal, serta sarana dan prasarana pengolahan masih terbatas, khususnya di UPI skala UKM. Review ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui berbagai strategi pengembangan UKM agar menghasilkan UKM UPI yang mempunyai keunggulan kompetitif. Dari hasil review bebrapa penelitian, diketahui berapa strategi, riset dan analisis yang memungkinkan untuk di kaji, yaitu pengembangan dengan mengintegrasikan teori RBV dan MBV, pengembangan berdasarkan pendekatan sistem, pengembangan strategi teknologi dan inovasi, serta pengembangan berdasarkan prospektif bidang usaha tersebut di masa depan.
