Abstract

Educators are people who play an important role in educating the nation's children, while educators who speak what comes to our minds are adults who guide and give us something we don't know. The method used in this study is using qualitative methods, the characteristic of this approach lies in its hope of describing a case by capturing its interests and side effects, with the aim that the examination of the information used is scientifically enlightening. Information collection was carried out through library research techniques. From the results of this study it is known that in Islamic education, "educators" are often referred to as murobbi, mu'allim, mu'adddib, mudarris, and murshid. There are additional commitments and conditions that must be met by a teacher. Educators must also have several qualities that must be possessed as an educator. And there are still many parts of an educator that must be fulfilled. Keywords: Concept, Educator, Islam

Abstract

There is an increasing trend of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) among micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) today. However, implementing ICT in MSMEs is still challenging due to financial and resource limitations. This study identifies and analyzes the driving and inhibiting factors affecting ICT implementation in MSMEs. Data from 175 MSMEs were analyzed using quantitative descriptive techniques in percentages and smart PLS for confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Based on the analysis results, nine driving factors and eleven inhibiting factors for ICT adoption in MSMEs were found. Although much research has been conducted in the field of ICT, there is still a need to adjust strategies and policies that can support ICT adoption for MSMEs, especially in developing countries.

Abstract

Ischemic stroke, also referred to as non-hemorrhagic stroke, results in the death of brain tissue due to impaired blood flow, primarily caused by blockages in the cerebral or cervical arteries and, less commonly, in the cerebral veins. This condition profoundly affects various aspects of an individual's life, including physical, emotional, psychological, cognitive, and social well-being. Following a stroke, many individuals experience reduced independence and mobility, which significantly detracts from their quality of life. Often, they face self-care deficits and require assistance to gradually regain the ability to perform activities of daily living (ADL) independently. This study aims to elucidate the strong relationship between ADL independence and the quality of life of post-ischemic stroke patients at Abdul Aziz Hospital in Singkawang City. Employing an analytic observational design with a cross-sectional approach, the research involved a sample of 60 respondents selected from the Neurology Polyclinic at RSUD dr. Abdul Aziz through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using the Spearman Rank test with a 95% confidence level. The results indicate a significant relationship between ADL independence and the quality of life of these patients, as demonstrated by a p-value of 0.000 (p < α) and a correlation strength of 0.514, categorized as moderate (0.40 – 0.599). These findings highlight that the level of independence in activities of daily living is intrinsically linked to the quality of life for post-ischemic stroke patients.

Abstract

A connectivity court is a court that functions to try criminal offenses committed jointly by civilians and members of the military (TNI), both general and special crimes, such as corruption. Provisions regarding koneksitas courts are regulated in detail in the Criminal Procedure Code, specifically in CHAPTER XI Article 89 to Article 94, as well as Article 198 to Article 203 in Law Number 31 of 1997 concerning Military Courts. However, in practice, when there is a criminal offense involving members of the TNI and civilians, the case should be resolved through a koneksitas mechanism. In reality, perpetrators are often tried in different courts, with TNI members being tried in military courts and civilian perpetrators in general courts. This creates disparity and ignores the principle of equality before the law, which in turn creates injustice. Law enforcers focus more on procedural justice than on achieving substantial justice.

Abstract

Aviation safety is a problem that currently requires attention and has become a national and international issue. Because modes of transportation that have fast characteristics are becoming more and more crowded and thus the vulnerability to accidents is increasing. Recently, Indonesia has been one of the countries in the world whose aviation safety problems are very worrying related to criminal acts that endanger aviation safety. Several provisions have been issued by the government by adopting or converting international conventions to issuing specific laws and regulations, however, several regulations and deregulations of laws and regulations which carry criminal threats still contain overlap and are felt to not provide a sense of justice and legal uncertainty. This research aims to understand the regulation of criminal acts of false information that endanger aviation safety and the resolution process by researching and reviewing criminal threat norms regulated in several statutory regulations as well as the authorities in the resolution process. That this research was carried out using normative juridical methods is supported by field data.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and examine the effectiveness of the Integrated Law Enforcement Center (Gakkumdu) in criminal enforcement of the 2024 Election in Central Java. This type of research is empirical or non-doctrinal law, the nature of analytical descriptive research. Using a qualitative approach with primary data from interviews and observations. Secondary data from books, scientific journal articles and legislative review. The results of the study show that the Central Java Gakkumdu Center has carried out its functions and authorities as a center for criminal law enforcement activities in accordance with the Election Law and Perbawaslu, but it has not been effective and legally certain. Because in handling election crime cases in 35 districts/cities as many as 110 cases, only 5 cases have permanent legal force, 2 cases stopped at the Police investigation, and 103 cases stopped at the discussion of the Gakkumdu Center. The causal factors are not in accordance with the theory of the legal system of law: (1) Legal substance: (a) the time to handle the case of election crimes is short (Speedy trial), (b) the legal subject of the perpetrator of the election crime is not fulfilled, (c) lack of evidence in the investigation of election crimes, and (d) difficulties in finding witnesses in the investigation of election crimes. (2) Legal structure: (a) many institutions in the Gakkumdu Center make coordination difficult, (b) different perceptions between institutions in the Gakkumdu Center make it difficult to determine election crimes, (c) the Gakkumdu Center is a non-institutional coordination forum in election crime enforcement, (d) the election crime enforcement coordinator Bawaslu only forwards reports and not as an election crime investigator. (3) Legal culture: (a) lack of understanding of election crime violations, (b) lack of public awareness of reporting election crimes to the gakkumdu center, (c) lack of public willingness to witness election crime cases, and (d) weak legal awareness of election participants to comply with the election law. The solutions to overcome the ineffectiveness of the Gakkumdu Center in election crime enforcement in the future: (a) the need for a single institution in election crime enforcement, and (b) the strengthening of Bawaslu's authority in election crime enforcement

Abstract

Drug crimes pose a serious threat with detrimental effects on the global community, including Indonesia. Drugs are classified as extraordinary crimes that harm physical, mental, social, and economic health. Drug abusers are not criminals who should be imprisoned but individuals who need medical and social rehabilitation, as regulated in Law Number 35 of 2009 on Narcotics. However, the implementation of rehabilitation faces challenges, such as a lack of synchronization among law enforcement agencies and the low number of abusers receiving rehabilitation. This study uses normative juridical research methods with a statute approach, conceptual approach, and case approach. Secondary data were obtained from legal literature and relevant regulations. The results of the study show that the integrated assessment mechanism, involving both medical and legal evaluations, plays a crucial role in determining whether drug abusers are eligible for rehabilitation or imprisonment. However, various obstacles hinder its implementation, such as differing legal interpretations, sectoral egos among institutions, and inconsistencies in placing drug abusers in rehabilitation centers. Moreover, the criminal law policy that prioritizes rehabilitation as a solution requires reform to be more effective in preventing drug-related crimes. The study recommends improving coordination among law enforcement agencies and revising regulations to ensure rehabilitation is prioritized in handling drug abuse cases, aiming to create a more humane and effective justice system.
