Abstract

Background of the study: Islamic boarding schools' life skill educational system is applied and integrated using a planned system. Peer interaction in Islamic boarding schools has dramatically impacted how individuals choose their clothes, hobbies, communities, friendships, and other social activities. Additionally, education in Islamic boarding schools gives students independence to survive. Based on these, Aims and scope of paper was conducted to find out the positive influences of life skill education towards the independence of students of a modern Islamic boarding school through peer social interaction. Method. This study was conducted on 212 students of Class VI on the central campus of Darussalam Gontor Modern Islamic Boarding School Ponorogo. The school year is 2021-2022. The subjects were chosen randomly using a random sampling technique with the Krejcie and Morgan formula. The respondent data was obtained from the institution's records and surveys from inventory questionnaires. The validity test used product-moment correlation, while the reliability test used alpha Cronbach. Relatively, this study used the path analysis method. Results. There was a positive impact of life skills on the independence of students of modern Islamic boarding schools, and there is also a positive impact of life skills through peer social interaction towards the independence of students of modern Islamic boarding schools. The results of the F calculation proved all of these hypotheses at 2,361 (p>0,05) and R-squared of 0,430 or 43%. That means that the amount of life skill variable impact (X) and social interaction (Z) on independence (Y) was at 43%. Discussion and Conclusion. Islamic boarding schools' education system and learning process is an education life skill model in which students learn and are trained to solve and overcome various issues they face independently. Independence is built not only by their motivation but also by their environment. Independence can be developed by implementing noble values and conditioning environmental factors such as the learning environment.

Abstract

Heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) is a condition associated with high morbidity and mortality. Changes in left ventricular geometry, diastolic function, and cardiac power output (CPO) are key indicators in the management of heart failure. ARNI and ACE inhibitors have been proven effective to treat this condition, but comparative studies on these therapies in the Asian population remain limited. This study was conducted to assess changes in left ventricular geometry, diastolic function, and CPO in heart failure patients following ARNI therapy compared to ACE inhibitors among Indonesian. This observational study employed a prospective cohort design involving 73 heart failure patients divided into two groups: the ARNI group and the ACE inhibitor group. Evaluations were conducted at first admission/recruitment and after three months period of therapy using echocardiography to assess parameters of left ventricular geometry (LVMI and RWT), diastolic function (E/e' ratio), and CPO. The use of ARNI or ACE inhibitors over three months showed a significant reduction in LVMI, accompanied by an improvement in diastolic function marked by a significant decrease in the E/e' ratio (p < 0.05). However, no significant differences were observed between the two groups. CPO values increased in both groups with a p-value < 0.05, where ARNI therapy showed a greater improvement compared to ACE inhibitors (p = 0.048). The use of ARNI and ACE inhibitors in heart failure patients can improve CPO, left ventricular geometry, and diastolic function, with ARNI therapy providing a better enhancement in CPO compared to ACE inhibitors.

Abstract

This research aims to discover how types of drugs are disguised through new types of modification and what strategies to overcome them. This research was carried out in 2 (two) provinces, Jakarta and North Sumatra. This research uses an empirical legal approach. Descriptive and evaluative qualitative data analysis techniques. Data collection techniques use interviews, focus group discussion (FGD), observation, and document study involving various parties: BNN, Health Service, Police, Pharmacists, and legal experts. The research results show that new physical active ingredients are already circulating in Indonesia, with the number of NPS circulating worldwide being 803 and 78 of them having entered Indonesia. 68 have been included in the attachment to the Law through Minister of Health Decree No. 20 of 2018, classified into eight groups. The rest cannot yet be detected, so their type has not been classified into any category. Furthermore, the reconstruction of the war strategy against new types of drugs (NPS) can be carried out in various ways, starting from rules/regulations, implementation of sanctions, the integrity of law enforcement, eradication, and prevention through the world of higher education, community involvement, and maximum activists, clusters and certification. Prisons for dealer abusers and victims, adequate budgets for law enforcement jobs, Special Rehabilitation Programs for NPS abusers, and creating a unique study institute that focuses on studying drug developments.

Abstract

Training for adults requires different ways and techniques in the application of special techniques that involve learning facilitators. An effective facilitator must have knowledge and competence about the content they teach, as well as skills to control the group. This leads to the need that the facilitator needs personal qualities that not only reflect the professionalism and character of the facilitator but also be able to overcome problems that occur in adult learning. This also happened at the Balai Besar Pemerintahan Desa Kementerian Dalam Negeri (BBPD) in Indonesia, which has the task and responsibility of conducting learning and training for village officials throughout Indonesia. Officials who are generally adult learners and have busy schedules need a reliable facilitator in the learning process. One of the things is to apply heutagogy as an alternative solution to maintain the facilitator's ability in adult learning. The application of heutagogy is expected to make the learning process lead to a sustainable system because they can return to their hometown with the expected application of knowledge. Based on the results of the preliminary analysis from the initial survey include the need for correct self-efficacy and the existence of a well-considered working environment also self-actualization in order to work more optimally in the learning process of adult learning using heutagogy. However, this needs to be proven empirically by quantitative research in more depth in the scope of BBPD so that the research result can state the validity of these three variable factors to the adult learning process carried out by BBPD. This research is explanatory research, which is research that seeks to explain the causal relationship that occurs between research variables and test hypotheses that have been formulated with quantitative research methods. The result shows that self-efficacy has the most significant factor among other aspects.

Abstract

The technological status of bottom gillnet fishing gear (rampus net) and its fishing operation methods have not changed much in its development and tend to be static. This problem also occurs among rampus net fishermen in Palabuhanratu Bay, where there is a decrease in catch productivity. The technological innovation needed for rampus net fishing gear is the use of bait boosters to attract and gather fish so that they are easy to catch. The research activities were carried out using an experimental fishing method with 20 trips as replications by comparing between treatment of rampus net with the control. The results showed that there was an increase in catches in treatment of rampus net compared to the control. The catch consisted of 61.2% demersal fish and 38.8% pelagic fish, dominated by largehead hairtail fish. The productivity of the treatment of rampus net had a value greater than the control, namely 0.85 kg/net-piece and 0.50 kg/net-piece, respectively. The production margin of the catch of the rampus net treatment compared to the control was 70.5%. Key words: bait booster, bottom gillnet, Palabuhanratu Bay

Abstract

Abstract
