Abstract

Kualitas organisasi sangat tergantung pada mutu SDM dalam organisasi tersebut. Tuntutan ini tidak terlepas dari tantangan-tantangan ekonomi yang mengglobal, dinamis, dan kompetitif. Salah satu fungsi manajemen SDM adalah training and development. Pelatihan dan pengembangan menjadi bagian utama strategi organisasi untuk meningkatkan kinerja, kemampuan, keahlian, dan perilaku karyawan. Tetapi seringkali dalam pelaksanaan pelatihan dan pengembangan tidak efekti dan efisien. Padahal dana yang dikeluarkan tidaklah sedikit. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan dan pengembangan pun tak jarang karyawan belum mampu mengimplementasikan apa yang diperoleh ketika mengikuti pelatihan dan pengembangan terhadap pekerjaannya.. Untuk itu perlu diperhatikan hal-hal yang terkait dengan rancangan pelatihan dan pengembangan yang efektif, diantaranya dengan memperhatikan ciri-ciri, prinsipprinsip, strategi-srategi, langkah-langkah, dan komponen-komponen yang perlu diperhatikan dalam pelatihan dan pengembangan SDM. This demand cannot be separated from economic challenges which is global, dynamic and competitive. One of the management functions HR is training and development. Training and development become a major part of the organization's strategy to improve performance, employee abilities, skills and behavior. After following It is not uncommon for employees to lack training and development implement what is obtained when attending training and development of his work.. Abstract

Background of Study: Inclusive access and services of information for persons with disabilities are an absolute necessity that must be provided by information institutions and supported by information workers and policies. Purpose: To determine the background, perceptions, and efforts of information workers in various information institutions to create inclusive information access and services for people with disabilities. Method: This study used a community-based learning approach with the self-determination theory method, which was deemed appropriate in exploring the background of information workers in providing inclusive access and services for people with disabilities, especially hearing and speech-impaired. Findings: Information workers have a general awareness of providing information services and access to deaf-mute people with disabilities. In its development, motivation and institutional support play a major role in the success of ideas and concepts of inclusiveness in information access and services. However, it was also found that the initiative of information workers emerged before access and service policies were created. Conclusion: Information workers hold vital roles in both creating support and policies for inclusive access and services for people with disabilities. The background and efforts that drive this inclusivity stem from the efforts and endeavors of information workers to understand, create, and implement inclusivity into concrete projections and relevant policies. Keywords: self-determination, information workers, information access, deaf disability, digital inclusion ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Peran Self-Determination Pekerja Informasi dalam Akses Informasi bagi Disabilitas Rungu-Wicara Latar Belakang: Akses dan layanan informasi yang inklusif untuk kelompok disabilitas merupakan upaya mutlak yang perlu disediakan lembaga informasi dan didukung oleh pekerja informasi serta kebijakan yang menyertainya. Tujuan: Mengetahui latar belakang, persepsi, dan upaya pekerja informasi dalam berbagai macam lembaga informasi untuk menciptakan akses dan layanan informasi yang inklusif kepada kelompok disabilitas. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan community-based learning dengan metode self-determination theory yang dinilai sesuai dalam upaya penelusuran latar belakang pekerja informasi dalam memberikan akses dan layanan inklusif untuk kelompok disabilitias. Temuan: Pekerja informasi memiliki kesadaran umum dalam memberikan layanan dan akses informasi kepada kelompok disabilitas tuna rungu-wicara. Dalam perkembangannya, motivasi dan dukungan institusi memiliki peran besar dalam kesuksesan ide dan gagasan inklusivitas akses informasi dan layanan. Namun, juga ditemukan bahwa inisiasi pekerja informasi lebih dahulu muncul sebelum kebijakan akses dan layanan diciptakan. Kesimpulan: Pekerja informasi memiliki peran vital dalam menciptakan dukungan dan kebijakan akses dan layanan inklusif untuk kelompok disabilitas. Latar belakang dan upaya yang mendorong inklusivitas tersebut ditimbulkan dari upaya dan usaha pekerja informasi dalam memahami, menciptakan, dan mengimplementasi inklusivitas ke dalam proyeksi nyata dan kebijakan yang relevan.  Kata Kunci: self-determination, pekerja informasi, akses informasi, disabilitas rungu, inklusi digital

Abstract

Rhodamine B is an organic dye commonly used in the textile industry, but it is toxic. Therefore, a photodegradation method using Fe3O4/activated carbon (AC)/ZnO nanocomposite is necessary to address environmental issues caused by rhodamine B. The Fe3O4/AC/ZnO nanocomposite has been successfully synthesized using the sonication method. Iron sand is used as a source of magnetite (Fe3O4), coconut shells as a source of activated carbon, and Zinc nitrate as a source of ZnO. XRF results show that the Fe content in iron sand is 74.10%. The ratio of Fe3O4 addition used in Fe3O4/AC/ZnO nanocomposite is 0:1:1; 1:1:1; 2:1:1; 3:1:1; 4:1:1. XRD characterization shows that the 1:1:1 ratio of Fe3O4/AC/ZnO nanocomposite has the smallest crystal size of 48.17 nm. The addition ratio of Fe3O4 does not affect the structure of the formed Fe3O4/AC/ZnO nanocomposite. Fe3O4/AC/ZnO nanocomposite is formed at 2theta 30.23°; 35.60°; 57.11°; and 62.83° for Fe3O4, peak broadening at 26.72° and ~44.71 for AC, and 31.82°; 34.47°; 36.30°; 47.59°; 56.63°; 62.89° and 67.98° for ZnO. SEM results show particle sizes of 57.95 nm for ZnO and 42.74 nm for Fe3O4/AC/ZnO 1:1:1 nanocomposite. VSM showed saturation magnetism of 4.41 emu/g for Fe3O4/AC/ZnO 1:1:1 nanocomposite and 28.8 emu/g for Fe3O4. The photocatalytic test showed that the Fe3O4/AC/ZnO 1:1:1 nanocomposite had the best % degradation of rhodamine B, at 96.1%, under sunlight.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of TikTok usage on students’ learning behavior at MAN 1 Kota Palu. A qualitative approach was employed through interviews, observations, and documentation involving purposively selected teachers and students. The findings show that TikTok has both positive and negative influences. On the positive side, it provides entertainment, motivation, and encourages creativity. On the negative side, excessive use reduces concentration, disturbs study time, and weakens discipline. It is recommended that teachers and parents supervise and guide TikTok usage towards more productive purposes.

Abstract

WhatsApp is a conversation application that is widely used as a communication medium between students and lecturers in an academic environment. When using WhatsApp, you need to pay attention to appropriate communication etiquette. The guide used in this research is the communication ethics guide at Mataram University. The aim of this research is to examine the ethics of communication between students and lecturers via the WhatsApp application, especially for first semester students of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program (PPKn) FKIP, Mataram University. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative and data collection is carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that there are still violations of communication ethics among PPKn 1st semester students at Mataram University, such as not paying attention to time, not introducing themselves, using impolite language, and sending repeated messages (spam). The problem of violations of communication ethics is caused by students' lack of understanding about good communication ethics and their urgent needs in lectures. Therefore, there needs to be an emphasis on the importance of implementing communication ethics in order to create harmonious relationships in the educational environment. It is hoped that the results of this research can become a reference in increasing awareness of communication ethics among students.

Abstract

Personal data protection. This study aims to examine in depth the legal role in regulating the use of AI that processes personal information, as well as to analyze the compliance challenges faced by business actors in meeting data protection standards. Employing a normative juridical approach supported by literature review, this research evaluates data management principles oriented toward transparency, consent, technical security, and the accountability of electronic system providers. The findings indicate that the inadequacy of legal infrastructure, low levels of privacy literacy, and weak oversight mechanisms have created an imbalance between technological innovation and the protection of data subjects’ rights, thereby increasing vulnerabilities to data breaches and potential legal consequences for businesses. This study affirms that strengthening internal policies, implementing auditing mechanisms, and adopting data protection technologies constitute essential instruments for ensuring ongoing compliance. Accordingly, adaptive legal responses and ethically oriented data governance are crucial prerequisites for creating a secure, accountable, and sustainable digital ecosystem in the use of AI technologies..

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low level of student engagement and understanding in mathematics learning, particularly in probability, due to the limited use of teaching materials, which are limited to printed textbooks and have not been integrated with technology. Students require interactive, engaging, and easily accessible teaching materials to support differentiated learning in the Independent Curriculum. This research aims to develop a valid and practical Project-Based Learning (PjBL)-based differentiated electronic student worksheet (LKPD) with QR codes for use in mathematics learning on probability. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study using the ADDIE model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The subjects included a mathematics educator and 14 tenth-grade students from SMA Negeri 1 Rambatan, with both high and low abilities. The research instruments included a characteristic questionnaire, validation sheet, practicality questionnaire, and interview guide, which were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that the developed electronic student worksheet achieved a validity score of 90.8% (categorized as very valid). The practicality score was 94.17% from teachers and 90% from students (very practical category). Thus, the QR Code-assisted PjBL-based e-LKPD is declared valid, practical, and suitable for use as a mathematics learning medium for probability.

Abstract

Pengelolaan keuangan yang efektif merupakan faktor penting dalam menjaga keberlanjutan usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM). Namun, masih banyak pelaku UMKM yang menghadapi keterbatasan dalam pengelolaan keuangan akibat rendahnya literasi keuangan serta belum optimalnya pemanfaatan financial technology. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh literasi keuangan dan financial technology terhadap pengelolaan keuangan UMKM di Kelurahan Entrop Distrik Jayapura Selatan Kota Jayapura, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap 54 pelaku UMKM sebagai responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi keuangan dan financial technology secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pengelolaan keuangan UMKM. Selain itu, secara simultan kedua variabel tersebut juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pengelolaan keuangan UMKM. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan pemahaman keuangan yang diiringi dengan pemanfaatan teknologi keuangan digital secara optimal dapat meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi pengelolaan keuangan UMKM

Abstract

Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L.) contains lectin compounds known for their potential anticancer properties. However, limited research has examined its possible teratogenic effects—adverse impacts that may cause fetal abnormalities. The urgency of this study lies in assessing the safety of okra extract as a natural anticancer candidate. This research aimed to evaluate the teratogenic effects of okra fruit extract using an in vivo model as a preliminary step toward developing safe ethnomedicine-based anticancer agents. The study employed a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with one control and three treatment groups. Female mice (Mus musculus L., DDW strain) received 2%, 4%, and 6% ethanol extracts of okra orally at a dose of 0.01 mL/g body weight daily from gestation days 0–10. The control group received no extract. Observations included maternal and fetal body weights, number of fetuses, liver morphology, and congenital malformations such as cleft palate and hydrocephalus. Data were analyzed using ANOVA (p < 0.05) followed by Bonferroni Post Hoc tests in SPSS version 23. The results showed that okra extract significantly affected maternal weight, fetal number, and fetal weight, as well as liver morphology and cleft palate incidence. These findings indicate that although okra exhibits anticancer potential, its teratogenic risks must be carefully evaluated.

Abstract

Fund management is a fundamental aspect of maintaining the stability and operational sustainability of banks. This study aims to examine various sources of bank funds, including core funds (capital) and external funds, and how the allocation of these funds is managed to support the intermediation function. The research method used is a literature review (library research) by analyzing secondary data from various scientific literature, books, and articles related to banking management. The results indicate that core funds derived from paid-in capital, reserves, and retained earnings serve as a risk buffer and an indicator of a bank’s health. Meanwhile, external funds mobilized from the public through savings, checking accounts, and deposits, as well as funds from financial institutions and investors, are the primary instruments for expanding financing capacity. Effective fund allocation requires a balanced strategy between loans, investments, and liquidity reserves to maintain public confidence and to comply with regulatory requirements. Thus, the integration of capital adequacy and proper fund allocation management is key to maintaining the integrity of the banking financial reporting system
