Abstract

Many culinary traders in Padang Panjang Culinary Market pay little attention to blessings in their production, provide inadequate service to consumers, and lack understanding of the importance of halal certification. The main problem in this study is how the implementation of Islamic economic principles in the behavior of culinary traders in Padang Panjang Culinary Market. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic economic principles in the behavior of culinary traders in the food and beverage sector in Padang Panjang City, especially in the culinary market. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach that produces descriptive data and utilizes a theoretical basis so that the focus of the research is in accordance with field facts with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that most culinary traders have not fully implemented Islamic economic principles such as monotheism, justice, honesty, responsibility, prophecy, halal and thayyib, and anti-riba in their business activities.

Abstract

Background: Anemia in pregnant women is a serious health issue that increases the risk of complications such as hemorrhage, preterm birth, and low birth weight. Poor nutritional status is a significant risk factor for anemia in pregnant women. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between nutritional status and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women in the working area of Bajayau Health Center. Methods: This case-control study with a involving a sample of 57 pregnant women registered at the Bajayau Health Center in 2024, including 19 anemic pregnant women (case group) and 38 non-anemic pregnant women (control group). Data were collected from health records and analyzed using Chi-Square test with SPSS. Results: A significant relationship was found between nutritional status and anemia incidence in pregnant women with p=0.000 and an Odds Ratio (OR) of 19.950, indicating that pregnant women with poor nutritional status were 19 times more likely to experience anemia. Conclusion: Nutritional status is closely associated with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women in the working area of Bajayau Health Center, highlighting the need for improved nutritional monitoring and education to prevent anemia. Abstrak Latar belakang: Anemia pada ibu hamil merupakan masalah kesehatan serius yang dapat menambah risiko komplikasi selama kehamilan, seperti perdarahan, kelahiran prematur, dan bayi berat lahir rendah. Status gizi yang buruk dapat meningkatkan risiko kejadian anemia pada ibu hamil. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan antara status gizi dengan kejadian anemia pada ibu hamil di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Bajayau. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain case-control dengan pendekatan retrospektif, melibatkan sampel sebanyak 57 ibu hamil yang tercatat di Puskesmas Bajayau pada tahun 2024, yang terdiri dari 19 ibu hamil dengan anemia (kelompok kasus) dan 38 ibu hamil tanpa anemia (kelompok kontrol). Data dikumpulkan melalui catatan kesehatan dan dianalisis dengan uji Chi-Square menggunakan SPSS. Hasil: Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara status gizi dengan kejadian anemia pada ibu hamil dengan nilai p=0,000 dan Odds Ratio (OR) 19,950, yang menunjukkan ibu hamil dengan status gizi kurang berisiko 19 kali lebih besar mengalami anemia. Kesimpulan: Status gizi berhubungan erat dengan kejadian anemia pada ibu hamil di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Bajayau, sehingga diperlukan upaya peningkatan pemantauan gizi dan edukasi bagi ibu hamil untuk mencegah anemia. Abstract

The aim of this research is to gain knowledge and understanding regarding the influence of Entrepreneurial Literacy and Digital Economic Literacy on the Success of MSMEs in the Culinary Sector in Makassar City with Entrepreneurial Motivation as a Moderator Variable. The method used is quantitative research techniques with descriptive research type. The sample in the research was 100 Culinary MSME Business Actors. Data analysis uses the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Model (PLS- SEM). The research results obtained are, 1. Entrepreneurial literacy and digital economic literacy have an influence on entrepreneurial motivation; 2. Entrepreneurial literacy and digital economic literacy have a significant effect on business success; 3. Entrepreneurial motivation has a significant influence on business success; 4. Entrepreneurial motivation is able to mediate the relationship between entrepreneurial literacy and business success; 5. Entrepreneurial motivation is able to mediate the relationship between entrepreneurial literacy and business success.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate and evaluate how students at SMAN 4 Takalar perceive the challenges they face and how they are resolved when teaching descriptive text writing, especially in the wake of the covid-19 pandemic, using the Jigsaw model cooperative learning strategy. Traditional teaching and learning environments were drastically changed by the global pandemic, which created new challenges for both teachers and students, particularly in skill-based areas like writing. Students frequently struggle with descriptive text writing because it requires careful attention to detail, a comprehensive vocabulary, and logical arrangement. By encouraging active participation, peer-to-peer instruction, and cooperative problem-solving, the Jigsaw model, a cooperative learning approach in which students become “experts” on a portion of the material before teaching it to their peers is proposed as a potentially successful tactic for minimizing these learning difficulties. Particularly, this study looks into how students perceive the challenges that come with writing descriptive texts and how the Jigsaw method either helps them get outside existing challenges or creates new ones. Data will be collected through in-depth interviews, and documentations with eleventh-grade students at SMAN 4 Takalar using a qualitative research methodology. The anticipated findings will provide insight on how students explicitly perceive challenges in producing descriptive texts (such as vocabulary acquisition, idea development, organization, and grammar) and offer insights into how the Jigsaw technique affects these perceived issues. Students are expected to report advantages like higher confidence, better structural comprehension through collaborative text construction, and expanded vocabulary through peer interaction. On the other hand, the study will also find out what new challenges students have when using the Jigsaw strategy in a post-pandemic context, like adapting to group projects following extended periods of distance learning, controlling group dynamics, or ensuring personal responsibility. This study has significant implications for creating better and successful writing instruction strategies in the changing educational environment, providing useful advice for English teachers in Indonesia.

Abstract

Sumatera selatan merupakan salah satu kawasan yang memiliki tingkat penyalahgunaan narkotika dan obat-obatan berbahaya, Narkotika sebuah zat yang bisa membuat siapapun yang mengkonsumsinya menjadi hilang kesadaran serta berbagai efek buruk bisa ditimbulkan dari obat ini karena mengandung tanaman sentetis maupun semi sentetis yang berpengaruh pada kinerja otak sampai dengan menghilangnya rasa sakit yang dirasakan namun membuat ketergantungan parah, terdapat jenis dan berbagai tipe serta golongan obat terlarang sudah dilampirkan dalam UU ini. Rumusan masalah dalam penulisan ini adalah bagaimanakah tugas dan wewenang Badan Narkotika Nasional dalam tindak pidana narkotika dan apa saja upaya Badan Narkotika Nasional dalam pencegahan tindak pidana narkotika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian Kualitatif, Badan Narkotika Nasional, praktik penyuluhan bersama kendala-kendala yang berlangsung. Badan Narkotika Nasional ialah lembaga pemerintahan bukan kementerian mempunyai berpangkat di bawah Presiden serta bertanggung jawab kepada Presiden. Badan Narkotika Nasional mempunyai tugas dan kewenangan dalam bidang pencegahan dan pemberantasan dan penyalahgunaan narkotika. BNN menemui beberapa kendala dalam menjalankan tugasnya yaitu biaya operasional yang belum tercukupi, adanya faktor sarana dan prasarana yang kurang memadai, dan kurangnya peran serta masyarakat membantu BNN untuk mencegah tindak pidana narkotika.

Abstract

As a low-rank coal, brown coal is characterized to have high water content. It is required a method to improve coal quality that can be used for effective coal utilization. One of the methods is to apply thermal dewatering technology which focuses on improving the quality of low-rank coal using water medium and autoclave. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of coal to water ratio (w/v) and the effect of particle size of a low rank-coal on water content and calorific value using the hydrothermal method. Coal was processed under hydrothermal conditions at 150 °C for 60 min. For a mixture of 100 g of 25 mesh coal and 50 mL of water, the calorific value and water content after the hydrothermal process reached 5,849 kcal/kg and 5.10% (adb), respectively. While for a mixture of 100 g of 40 mesh coal and 50 mL of water, the calorific value and water content after the hydrothermal process reached 5,789 kcal/kg and 4.94% (adb), respectively. The calorific value obtained increased from the initial value of 3,296 kcal/kg and the water content decreased from the initial value of 44.34% for the coal condition before hydrothermal process. It can be concluded that the hydrothermal process with heating without oxygen carried out by a hydrothermal reactor could increase the calorific value of low-rank coal and reduce water content.

Abstract

Barriers to the implementation of open access globally need to be studied further using a systematic review. The purpose of this study is to look at the barriers from various countries in implementing open access. This study uses a systematic review method with a qualitative approach. The data collection method is in the form of planning, implementation, and synthesis of search results. This study uses Google Scholar to capture all research on implementing scientific communication with open access in the global realm. The search results on Google Scholar using Boolean logic found 273 articles. After the elimination process based on research objectives became 16 articles. This study shows that the biggest obstacle in implementing open access is the perception of the researchers (33.3%) which indicates that the quality of open access journals is less guaranteed, that is, many of them fall into the category of predatory journals. In addition, another obstacle identified was policy (25.6%). The government or stakeholders must make policies that regulate the standards for the quality of open access journals, the editorial board, and the time intervals for publishing journals. Other obstacles include financial factors where many researchers have minimal research funds but open access publications require large funds (23.1%), followed by copyright (10.3%) and language (7.7%) because not all researchers are fluent in English. The results of this study can be used as a reference for further research in assessing the obstacles that have also been happened in Indonesia.

Abstract

This article examines the role of process innovation in improving operational efficiency within the plastic recycling industry, particularly among small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Operational efficiency serves as a key factor in ensuring both sustainability and profitability amid growing environmental concerns and the global shift toward a circular economy. Through an extensive literature review of international sources, this study highlights how the adoption of technologies such as sensor-based automatic sorting systems, energy-efficient washing, the Internet of Things (IoT), and supply chain digitalization can reduce production costs, enhance product quality, and increase production capacity. However, findings also indicate that several challenges persist, including limited investment capital, low technological literacy, infrastructural disparities, and regulatory uncertainty. Therefore, the success of process innovation in the recycling industry depends heavily on collaborative support from governments, research institutions, industry associations, and NGOs. This paper contributes both theoretically and practically by proposing a conceptual framework that links process innovation, operational efficiency, and sustainability, serving as a foundation for strengthening SMEs toward an inclusive and competitive green industry

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat apakah terdapat pengaruh antara Memorable Tourist experience terhadap electronic word of mouth, Travel Motivation, dan Perceived value. Serta untuk melihat apakah ada hubungan antara electronic word of mouth, Travel Motivation, dan Perceived value terhadap Revisit Intention di destinasi wisata Dusun Bambu Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dan responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 250 responden. Analisis data menggunakan aplikasi SPSS dan AMOS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Memorable Tourist experience berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap electronic word of mouth, Travel Motivation, dan Perceived value. Kemudian penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa electronic word of mouth, Travel Motivation, dan Perceived value berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Revisit Intention
