Chromium from the process of coloring batik has high toxicity to the organism. The biosorption method is the heavy metal adsorption process using inactive organisms to eliminate or decrease chromium in batik wastewater. In a polluted environment, fish can be in a stressful condition that requires energy to adapt to environmental changes; high energy requirements will stimulate an increase in blood glucose levels. Chromium exposure can increase the blood glucose level on carp (Cyprinus carpio). This study aims to determine the effect of batik wastewater resulted from the biosorption process exposure to the blood glucose levels. This study used 4 concentrations with 6 replications. Carp is placed in a mixed water tank with batik waste resulting from biosorption. The treatment of batik wastewater produced from the biosorption process concentration are of 0%v.v-1; 39,657%v.v-1; 26,438%v.v-1; and 13,219%v.v-1. Penelitian tentang diferensial leukosit ikan yang terpapar limbah dari biosorpsi perlu dilakukan karena diferensial leukosit merupakan salah satu indikator keberadaan kontaminan yang masuk ke dalam tubuh ikan dan untuk memeriksa status kesehatan imunitas ikan. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh pemaparan dan mengetahui konsentrasi limbah cair batik hasil biosorpsi yang paling berpengaruh terhadap differensial leukosit Ikan Mas (Cyprinus carpio L.). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata persentase diferensial leukosit, untuk monosit, neutrofil, dan eosinofil tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan 3,96 v.v-1 yaitu berturut-turut 7,50 ± 1,04%; 11,50 ± 1,64 %; 2,83 ± 0,17 % dan terendah terdapat pada perlakuan 0 v.v-1 yaitu berturut-turut 3,50 ± 0,083%; 7± 1,26 %; 0,66 ± 0,08%, serta rerata persentase limfosit yang tertinggi dari perlakuan 0 v.v-1 yaitu 81,50 ± 1,87% dan terendah dari perlakuan 3,96 v.v-1 yaitu 74,5 ± 3,33 %. Kesimpulan dari penelitian yaitu limbah cair batik hasil biosorpsi berpengaruh terhadap differensial leukosit yaitu terjadi peningkatan pada monosit, neutrofil, dan eusinofil serta penurunan pada limfosit. Selain itu, konsentrasi limbah cair batik hasil biosorpsi yang paling berpengaruh terhadap differensial leukosit adalah konsentrasi 3,96 v.v-1. Research on the hematocrit value of fish exposed to batik wastewater resulted from the biosorption process needed because the blood is one indicator of contaminants present that entering the fish body. This research aims to determine the effects of batik wastewater resulted from biosorption process exposure on Carp (Cyprinus carpio) hematocrit value. The treatments are batik wastewater resulted from biosorption process with different concentrations, i.e 0; 1,32; 2.64 and3, 96 % v.v-1. The carp maintained for 7 days and the blood was taken in the 8 days. Measured variables were hematocrit value. The result shows that the highest of the hematocrit in 0%v/v-1 concentration was 31.67±1.49 % while the lowest in 3,96 % v.v-1 concentration was 26.00±1.15 %. The conclusion, that batik wastewater resulted from the biosorption process induced a significant increase in the hematocrit value.

Histopathological studies related to the kidney of fish exposed to batik wastewater resulted from the biosorption process are necessary because the kidney is an target organ that plays an important role in maintaining water balance and osmoregulation. This research aims to determine the effect of batik wastewater resulted from the biosorption process exposure on kidney histology of Carp (Cyprinus carpio) and determine the concentration that has the most effect on it. The treatment consists of K0 (control) and three treatments of batik wastewater resulted from the biosorption process with different concentration from 25 %, 50 %, and 75 % LC50 96h, ie K1 1,32; K2 2,64, and K3 3,96 % v.v-1. The carp were exposed to batik wastewater resulted from the biosorption process for 7 days, and on the 8th day the fish was dissected, and the kidney was taken for histology process. The result of the research shows that exposure to batik wastewater resulted from the biosorption process with different concentrations give negative impact on the carp kidney such as tubular hypertrophy, tubular necrosis, and glomerular necrosis.

AbstrakPatogenesis psoriasis dipengaruhi oleh sitokoin proinflamatori TNF-α, IL-1, dan sitokin anti-inflamatori IL-10. Dengan tehnik imunohistokimia dapat dideteksi TNF-α, IL-1, dan IL-10 pada jaringan kulit.Membandingkan jumlah ekspresi TNF-α, IL-1, dan IL-10 pada lesi dan non-lesi kulit dengan pemeriksaan imunohistokimia, dan hubungan jumlah ekspresi TNF-α, IL-1, dan IL-10 dengan derajad keparahan penyakit (skor PASI).Merupakan penelitian observasional dengan disain nested case control pada pasien psoriasis yang datang ke Poliklinik Kulit dan Kelamin, tahun 2003-2006. Untuk menghitung derajad keparahan penyakit dipakai skor PASI. Didapat 21 pasien (umur 21-68 tahun) yang ikut penelitian ini. Dilakukan biopsi dengan pewarnaan HE dan pemeriksaan imunohistokimia menggunakan antibodi monoklonal. Perbandingan jumlah ekspresi TNF-α, IL-1, dan IL-10 dihitung dengan student’s t-test. Skor PASI dihitung dengan regression equation simplex, dan hubungan skor PASI dengan TNF-α, IL-1 dan IL-10 menggunakan Pearson’s correlation coefficient (r).Sebanyak 21 pasien (14 laki-laki, 7 perempuan), umur rata-rata 44,67±13,309. Lama menderita sakit antara 1-20 tahun (rata-rata 4,9±4,939). Nilai skor PASI antara 8,0 – 32,7(rata-rata 19,362±7,241). TNF-α, IL-1, dan IL-10 terwarnai kuat di dermis lesi psoriasis : TNF-α (20-35, mean 27.95±4.056) dibandingkan non-lesi kulit (0-1, mean 0.10±0.301), p< 0.0001; IL-1 (19-31, mean 23.67±3.411); and IL-10 (4-13, mean 8.52±2.562).Tidak terdapat ekspresi IL-1 and IL-10 pada non-lesi kulit. Tidak terdapat hubungan antara skor PASI dengan ekspresi TNF-α (r=0,365, p>0,05), IL-1(r=0.267, p>0.05), and IL-10 (r=0.054,p>0.05).Jumlah ekspresi TNF-α, IL-1, dan IL-10 meningkat secara signifikan pada lesi dibandingkan non-lesi kulit. Immunohistochemistry has been used to detect TNF-α, IL-1, and IL-10 in skin.To compare the amount of TNF-α, IL-1, and IL-10 expressions in lesion and non- lesion psoriatic skin by immunohistochemistry examination, and the correlation of amounts of TNF-α, IL-1, and IL-10 expressions to disease severity degree (PASI score).A nested case control study was done among psoriatic pasients who attended to our policlinic during 2003-2006.The PASI score was used to measure of disease severity degree. There were 21 patients (ages 21- 68 yo). We did biopsy and stained using HE and histochemistry examination using monoclonal antibody. The expression amount of TNF-α, IL-1, and IL-10 were compared by student’s t-test. PASI scores were expressed using regression equation simplex, and the correlation between of PASI scores to TNF-α, IL-1, dan IL-10 were using Pearson’s correlation coefficient (r).Twenty one patients (14 men, 7 women), mean age 44.67±13.309. The duration of the disease were 1-20 tahun, mean 4.9±4.939. PASI score range 8.0 – 32.7 (mean 19.362±7.241). There were strong staining in dermis of skin lesions; TNF-α (20-35, mean 27.95±4.056) compared non-lesion skins (0-1, mean 0.10±0.301), p< 0.0001; IL-1 (19-31, mean 23.67±3.411); and IL-10 (4-13, mean 8.52±2.562).There were no expressions of IL-1 and IL-10 in non-lesion. No correlation between PASI scores and expressions of TNF-α (r=0,365, p>0,05), IL-1 (r=0.267, p>0.05), and IL-10 (r=0.054,p>0.05).The amount of TNF-α, IL-1, dan IL-10 expressions were increased significantly in the lesions compared non-lesion skin and there were no correlation between PASI scores to the expressions of the TNF-α, IL-1, and IL-10 in psoriatic skin.Keywords : Psoriasis vulgaris, TNF-α, IL-1, IL-10, PASI

Basically the meaning of working capital is the capital needed by the company to finance company’s operation daily. The need of working capital for a company can be reflected from it’s sales scale volume. By the sales scale volume owned by the company, the activity level of company’s operation can be determined.The aims of research are first to analyze the tendence of working capital turnover development level observed from sales level and the tendency of working capital need observed from company’s operation turnover level at Drinking Water Loco Company of Banyumas, purbalingga and Banjarnegara Regency. It is Limited on company’s functional working capital which includes working capital elements, they are cash, inventory and account receivable. The data collected includes six year data, that is from 2000 till 2005.As the result of the research, it can be concluded that working capital turnover at PDAM Banyumas, Purbalingga and banjarnegara Regency from 2000 till 2005 tends to reduce if be folowed the sales increase and the need of working capital tends at PDAM Banyumas, Purbalingga dan Banjarnegara Regency to increase.From this research, it can be implicated that PDAM Banyumas, Purbalingga and Banjarnegara Regency must effort working capital turnover periode isn’t too long and the third Regency must pay more attention on the size of its sales level in order to create sufficient amount of working capital need suitable with company’s activity level.

Study on meaning, or widely known as meaning in life commonly studied from the perspective of existential psychology. Meaning is an important construct since meaning will help individual in seeking and finding the goals of individual existence. Previous studies show that meaning is utilized in two context, life meaning and job meaning. We argue that the two constructs is closely related so that in some studies, both terms ussually interchangeably used.The aim of the research is to investigate the consequences of meaning in life. Field survey is conducted in Universitas Jenderal Soedirman with the sample size of 140 lecturers. The findings are as follows: meaning in life significantly influence job involvement and lecturer motivation, job involvement significantly influence career planning, but insignificantly toward career identity, whereas motivation significantly influence career identity and career planning. The future research could be conducted to verify current finding, particularly to validate the influence of job involvement toward career identity.

The purpose of this research are to 1know bussines performance of small-scale handycraft industry in Purbalingga and assumed variables influencing the industry. Data used are contribution income (as bussines performance indicator), education level, age, sum of family dependency, entrepreneur attitude, bussines experience today, bussines experience in the same field (as entrepreneur characteristic indicators), sum of labour, skill, wage, labour turnover (as labour characteristic indicators), bussines location, sum of partnerships, sum of suppliers (as environmental characteristic indicators) are collected from 90 respondent samples. Some problems of this research are how the bussines performance of small-scale handycraft industry in Purbalingga and assumed variables influencing the industry and are variables those include in entrepreneur characteristic, labour characteristic and environmental characteristic which explained in 13 variables influence to bussines performance, as simultaniously and partially and which dominant variables influence to bussines performance of small-scale handycraft industry in Purbalingga. The research method used are multiple regression and elasticity analysis. The conclusions of this research are (1) all of independent variables, as simultaniously, have significant influence to bussines performance, (2) as partially, the variables those influence significantly are education level, entrepreneur attitude, wage, bussines location, (3) The dominant variables influence to bussines performance of small-scale handycraft industry in Purbalingga are wage.

Development of small and medium businesses batik in subdistrict Sumpiuh,Banyumas was conducted on small and medium businesses batik Budi Djamil and BatikTata. The purpose of this activity is to provide the support equipment production andassistance to make proposals for manufacturing production equipment toDisperindagkop, Banyumas. To give counseling, training and mentoring financialmanagement, bookkeeping activities, provide education and training on the use offinancial reporting based computer information systems, especially for small andmedium businesses Batik Tata. It also give guidance about management production anddevelopment of design, conduct design of manufacture packaging and label design toincrease the sale value and customer value, and also it will bring assistance onmanagement marketing and e-marketing. Method with extension activities, training,coaching and mentoring can bring benefits that can increase the production capacity ofpartners, increasing sales turnover and overcome the problems of the partners.

Kritik sosial merupakan penilaian baik dan buruk dari adanya suatu permasalahan sosial. Kritik sosial dapat disampaikan melalui berbagai media, salah satunya media sastra. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kritik sosial yang muncul pada kumpulan puisi Perjamuan Khong Guan karya Joko Pinurbo dengan menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah kutipan bait yang terdapat dalam kumpulan puisi Perjamuan Khong Guan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik simak dan catat. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik interakif Miles dan Hubberman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya kritik sosial dalam kumpulan puisi Perjamuan Khong Guan, yaitu politik, agama, teknologi, dan moral.Kata kunci: kritik sosial, sosiologi sastra, puisi
