Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of various types of organic fertilizers on the growth of water spinach (Ipomea reptans Poir.). This research is an experimental research conducted in October-December 2021 at the Biology Education Nature Laboratory, University of Riau. This study used a randomized block design consisting of 4 treatments with 4 groups of replications so that there were 16 experimental units. The treatment consisted of control treatment, manure treatment, bokashi fertilizer treatment, and composter drum fertilizer treatment. Data was collected by measuring plant height, number of leaves, and plant wet weight. The results showed that the application of various types of organic fertilizers had a significant effect on the growth of water spinach (Ipomea reptans Poir.). Bokashi fertilizer produced the best growth with a height of 37.80 cm, a total of 23.25 leaves, and a wet weight of 21.74 grams.Key Words: Organic fertilizer, Growth, Ipomea reptans Poir.

Abstract

The lungs are part of one of the organs in a system, namely breathing which is useful as a container for the exchange of oxygen from the air which replaces carbon dioxide in the blood. Which is in the chest and also the most important organs in the human body. And covered by a double-wall sac or pleura that lies on the outer surface of the lung and is also protected by the collarbone. Humans have two parts of the lungs, namely the right side is divided into 3 parts and the left is divided into 2 parts. Homotopy comes from the Greek homos and topos, tomos has the same activity while topos has topology. Homotopy Tree is a method used to obtain an object boundary in an image based on the color equation between neighbors. The test results with manual segmentation use the ROC (Receiver Operating Characteristic) method. In testing the system several X-Ray images of the throax for the right lung and left lung will produce an average value of accuracy, sensitivity and specificity of the two parts of the lungs. In this final project using several samples of x-ray images of the chest, which will be calculated the validation results of the right and left lung organs. This application system can automatically calculate the accuracy, sensitivity and specificity of human lungs which can simplify medical work such as assisting radiology. The purpose of the application system for lung segmentation is to facilitate the measurement of thorax x-ray images to be more efficient than manual measurement. This system uses the preprocessing stage to improve image quality in order to obtain good results.

Abstract

Plastic is one of the factors causing environmental damage due to human hands. Plastic can become dangerous microplastics if mixed with soil and water because it becomes toxic to the human body. Efforts can be made by innovating to turn plastic waste into ecobricks. Ecobricking is a technique of turning plastic waste into bricks, filling bottles with compacted plastic waste. This community service aims to educate the community, especially in Berua Village and Parang Tambung Village in the management of plastic waste into household furniture with ecobrick techniques. The implementation method used is the approach method starting from the preparation, implementation, observation, evaluation and reflection stages on December 11, 2022 in Berua Village and on March 5, 2023 in Parang Tambung Village with a total of 60 participants. The result is that the community is given education about the types of plastics so that they understand how to categorize them, education about 4R-based waste management, namely reduce, reuse, recycle, and replace. The conclusion of this PKM is that the community knows and understands about the ecobrick technique seen from the results of the evaluation conducted.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the characteristics of nitrifying bacteria (nitrifying bacteria) in catfish processing waste in Koto Mesjid Village which are used to design booklets in biology learning material for class X high school bacteria which were conducted from September 2022 to January 2023. This type of research uses experimental and descriptive methods. The parameters used included the morphological characteristics of the bacterial colonies, namely macroscopic observations consisting of colony shape, colony color, colony edges and colony elevation and microscopic observations consisting of gram staining and bacterial cell shape. The results of the study found six bacterial isolates that showed different characteristics, namely having clear white, cream, white, and milky white colors, the shape of the colonies found were round and irregular, the edges of the colonies were wavy, flat and jagged, the elevation of the colonies was flat and raised, the surface of the colony is shiny and not shiny, the cell shape is round and rod, gram is negative and positive. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the implementation of the independent curriculum at SMAN 8 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted at SMAN 8 Pekanbaru. When this research starts in April-May 2023. This research is a type of qualitative research. The qualitative research method is a method in which the researcher is the key instrument and examines the condition of natural objects. The average result for teacher planning is 100% in the very good category. The results of the implementation of learning for teachers with a score of 100% are very good categories while for students with a score of 81% the category is very good. The results of the assessment on the teacher got a score of 93% in the very good category while students with a score of 90% were in the very good category. Based on the results of research on the analysis of the implementation of the independent curriculum in learning biology material for class X environmental change at senior high school 8 Pekanbaru, it can be concluded that it is classified as very good.Key Word: Independent Curriculum, Biology Learning, Environmental Influence

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the applicability of using Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on learning cycle 5e on student learning outcomes in class X SMA IT Al-Fityah Pekanbaru's monera material. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. This research was conducted at SMA IT Al-Fityah Pekanbaru in October-November 2022 with a sample of 26 students of class X SMA IT Al-Fityah Pekanbaru. Methods of data collection in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. Research instruments were in the form of learning tools consisting of syllabus, Lesson Plans (RPP), and Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on learning cycle 5e, and data collection instruments in the form of observation sheets and test questions on learning outcomes. The results of the analysis of the implementation of the use of LKPD based on learning cycle 5 were carried out well with a percentage of 50% in the first meeting, 65% in the second meeting, 77% in the third meeting and 85% in the fourth meeting with a very good category. While the learning outcomes obtained after using LKPD based on learning cycle 5e each meeting increased with a percentage of 81% in the first meeting, 84.61% in the second meeting, 88.46% in the third meeting and 92% in the fourth meeting. Based on these data it can be concluded that the use of LKPD based on learning cycle 5e is implemented well and can improve learning outcomes.Key Words: Learning Cycle 5e, Learning Outcomes, Student Worksheets (LKPD)

Abstract

Salah satu aspek yang akan terganggu apabila anak mengalami gangguan perkembangan adalah aspek pembelajaran di sekolah. Desa Mayungan terdapat 7 Posyandu dengan jumlah kader 45 orang, yang tersebar di 7 padukuhan. Jumlah balita yang ada didesa Mayungan adalah 243 orang.  Hasil wawancara dengan 5 kader Posyandu bahwa semua mengatakan belum mengetahui tentang pemantauan perkembangan dengan lembar KPSP dan belum tahu cara pengisiannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah diketahuinya faktor faktor faktor yang berhubungan dengan pemanfaatan lembar KPSP pada kader posyandu desa Mayungan, Ngawen, Klaten Metode penelitian ini adalah pendekatan crossectional, sampel penelitian semua kader posyandu sejumlah 40 responden, teknik sampling total sample, analisis dengan univariat dan Chi-Square.  Hasil penelitian ini adalah karakteristik kader berdasarkan usia diketahui mayoritas kader berumur ≥41 tahun. Pendidikan kader sebagian besar tingkat menengah (SMA dan sederajatnya). Lama menjadi kader sebagian besar dalam kategori lama (≥5 tahun). Pengetahuan kader tentang KPSP mayoritas kategori kurang. Pemanfaatan lembar KPSP mayoritas dalam kategori tidak atau tidak mengisi lembar tersebut.Tidak terdapat hubungan antara usia, pendidikan, lama menjadi kader dan pengetahuan dengan pemanfaatan lembar KPSP pada kader Posyandu desa Mayungan, Ngawen, Klaten. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah tidak terdapat hubungan antara usia, pendidikan, lama menjadi kader dan pengetahuan dengan pemanfaatan lembar KPSP pada kader Posyandu desa Mayungan, Ngawen, Klaten.

Abstract

Masih rendahnya cakupan keberhasilan pemberian ASI Ekslusif pada bayi, dipengaruhi banyak hal, diantaranya rendahnya pengetahuan dan kurangnya informasi pada ibu dan keluarga mengenai pentingnya pemberian ASI Ekslusif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengetahuan ibu menyusui pada bayi usia 0-6 bulan tentang manfaat asi ekslusif di Bidan Hj Nani, S.Keb Tahun 2022. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Bidan Hj Nani, S.Keb. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua ibu menyusui  pada bayi 0-6 bulan di Bidan Hj Nani, S.Keb. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling sebanyak 51 responden. Analisis data yang dilakukan adalah analisis univariat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian responden memiliki pengetahuan yang baik tentang pengertian ASI eksklusif yaitu sebanyak 28 orang (73,7%) dan responden memiliki pengetahuan yang baik tentang manfaat ASI eksklusif yaitu sebanyak 31 orang (81,6%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, sebaiknya petugas kesehatan terutama bidan bekerja sama dengan instansi kesehatan mengadakan kegiatan penyuluhan dan konseling agar dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan informasi ibu tentang pentingnya dan manfaat pemberian ASI eksklusif

Abstract

This research discusses the aspects of action that contain accounts in Death on the Nile movie, based on the theory of Scott and Lyman (1968) on the aspect of excuses and justification. The objective of this research is to describe the types of accounts in Death on the Nile movie. The researcher used a descriptive qualitative research method. The data sources in this research are divided into two categories, namely movies as primary data and audiovisual as secondary data. Data collection was carried out by downloading movies, watching movies, reading intensively, and selecting data based on the communicative action model. The data was analyzed by presenting, describing, interpreting, and concluding data to answer the research question from this research. The result of the research shows that there are 14 data accounts in Death on the Nile movie. This account occurs because it was created by several characters in the movie who provide excuses and justifications to avoid being accused of the murder incident of a wealthy woman named Linnet. Findings, the researcher found that all justifications are excuses, but not all excuses are justifications. In addition, the justification aspect is more dominant used to justify bad behavior, in the excuses aspect the type of appeal to defeasibility can be used to kill the victim, the appeal to accident aspect is used to make unexpected events, and the appeal to biological aspect is the last aspect that causes behavior. There is no scapegoating aspect in this movie.

Abstract

The Ngawi Regency Library and Archives Office has an obligation to provide public services to people who want to access local government library facilities. In providing services, it is required to provide good service to people who want to access the library. The community has the right to provide an assessment of services such as complaints, criticism, or suggestions. But so far, the library service complaint system is still done manually. The manual method has several weaknesses such as complaints are not recorded, complaint data is not stored, and other human errors. For this reason, researchers made research on a new complaint system to be efficient and overcome problems in the manual system. Researchers designed a mobile-based library service complaint application as a solution from the results of observation and analysis of the previous complaint system. The solution resulted from redesigning the new system design with system design analysis including Flowchart, Unified Modeling Language (UML), table relations, and Black-box testing. With the new system, it is hoped that it can facilitate the community in making complaints about library services through applications installed on smartphones. Assisting library staff in monitoring, processing, and storing complaint data from the community through the library admin website.
