Abstract

Value of CBR is important in the planning of road pavement. Meanwhile, the CBR value of a material is very diverse and not necessarily the landfill material with a CBR value that meets specifications available easily and quickly. Therefore results of this study are expected to be a reference in determining which sand should be used for a road foundation if mineral content is known. This study was conducted by taking 3 sand samples from 3 different locations (Depok, Indramayu, and Tangerang). These samples were tested to determine physical properties, mechanical properties and mineral content. Based on the results of the particle size distribution analysis, we can see the effect between the percentage of clay and silt with the CBR value of each sand sample. The less the clay and the silt content in the sand sample, the smaller the CBR value obtained. While based on the results of x-ray diffraction testing, it can be concluded that the dominant SiO2 and Fe2O3 minerals can be approved to increase the CBR value. This is consistent with the level of Mohs hardness of these minerals, because the level of hardness of two minerals is the highest among other minerals contained in all samples. So, it can also be concluded that if a sand contains minerals with a high level of Mohs hardness, the greater CBR value of sand can be obtained.Keywords: soil investigation, sand, CBR, mineral content, x-ray diffraction.

Abstract

Pembelajaran anak - anak sering kali dihadapkan pada tantangan minat belajar yang rendah akibat metode konvensional yang kurang menarik. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, peneliti mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi augmented reality untuk pengenalan binatang dan mengasah anak agar dapat membaca. Augmented reality digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan interaktif, agar membantu meningkatkan minat belajar anak – anak. Aplikasi ini memanfaatkan teknologi augmented reality dengan penanda (Marker) yang memungkinkan objek 3D binatang muncul dalam lingkungan nyata anak-anak. Dengan melibatkan indera penglihatan, pendekatan ini menciptakan dunia belajar yang hidup, memungkinkan anak-anak menyentuh dan menjelajahi binatang-binatang tersebut dalam bentuk virtual. Hal ini tidak hanya membuat pembelajaran lebih menyenangkan dan menarik bagi anak-anak, tetapi juga merangsang kreativitas mereka dengan cara yang belum pernah terjadi sebelumnya. Anak-anak dapat menjelajahi habitat, mengamati binatang-binatang eksotis, melalui perangkat elektronik mereka. Dengan membangun pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang dunia di sekitar mereka, anak-anak prasekolah menjadi lebih sadar akan pentingnya menjaga lingkungan dan merasa terhubung dengan alam. Dalam konteks ini, aplikasi augmented reality ini bukan sebagai alat pembelajaran, tetapi juga sebuah pintu gerbang menuju pengetahuan yang menyenangkan dan interaktif. Melalui penggunaan teknologi ini, anak-anak akan tumbuh sebagai pembelajar yang aktif dan bersemangat, dengan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang lingkungan sekitar mereka. Oleh sebab itu dibuatlah aplikasi augmented reality yang akan membantu dalam media pembelajaran pengenalan binatang. Hasil dari aplikasi augmented reality yang telah dibuat, digunakan untuk membantu dalam proses pembelajaran pengenalan hewan, agar anak – anak lebih mengenal lingkungan hewan dan habitat hewan yang berada disekitar dengan lebih baik.

Abstract

Environmental problems today are indeed the most common problems in the environment, namely pollution, unhygienic ways of managing food, low levels of clean and healthy living (PHBS) and lack of clean water and healthy latrines. The latrine is a place for human waste disposal but there are still many people who do not dispose of their waste properly. The behavior of defecating (BAB) in any place and tends not to use the latrine is one of the habits that individuals have as a result of imitating the behavior of the people around them. Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in Rokan Hulu Regency, 9.61% did not use defecation facilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the ownership of latrines in Bangun Purba Village, Bangun Purba District. The method used was descriptive analytic with cross sectional design. The sample in this study amounted to 60 people. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Analysis of the data used is univariate analysis which performs univariable analysis and also bivariate analysis which performs statistical tests using the chi-square test. The results showed that there was a relationship of knowledge to the use of latrines in Bangun Purba Village with a p value of 0.001, there was a relationship between education and the use of latrines in Bangun Purba Village with a p value of 0.004, and there was a relationship between the role of health workers on the ownership of latrines in Bangun Village. Ancient with p value = 0.003. The conclusion is that there is a significant relationship between knowledge, education, and the role of health workers on latrine ownership. Suggestions need for counseling about the importance of latrines that are useful for maintaining public health and the environment.

Abstract

Sri Wulandari Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul Ulum Jombang mikyoonrizu@gmail.com Abstrak Artikel ini merupakan contoh kritik sastra yang mengupas jenis penindasan yang dialami oleh perempuan dalam novel ‘A Thousand Splendid Suns’ karya Khaled Hosseini dan bagaimana cara mereka menghadapi penindasan. Dengan menggunakan teori penindasan oleh Iris muda, penelitian ini mencoba untuk menggambarkan penindasan yang dialami oleh Mariam dan Laila di dalam novel A Thousand Splendid Suns. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya lima jenis penindasan, diantaranya eksploitasi, marginalisasi, ketidakberdayaan, imperialisme budaya, dan kekerasan yang dialami oleh dua tokoh wanita tersebut. Kelima penindasan ini berasal dari suami dan masyarakat di mana mereka tinggal. Mariam cenderung untuk bertahan atas penindasan yang dialami, sementara Laila cenderung untuk melawan. Tapi pada akhirnya, baik Mariam dan Laila melawan penindasan untuk menentukan kehidupan mereka masing- masing. Kata Kunci: penindasan, penindasan perempuan Abstract This article is a literary criticism which studies the types of oppression experienced by women in Khaled Hosseini’s A Thousand Splendid Suns and the way they deal with the oppression. Using  the theory of oppression by Iris Young , this study tries to describe Mariam’s and Laila’s oppression in A Thousand Splendid Suns. Through this study, it is found that Five Faces of Oppression, namely exploitation, marginalization, powerlessness, cultural imperialism, and violence happen to the women in A Thousand Splendid Suns. Those types oppression above come from their husband and the society where they live. The effort they make to deal with the oppression is different according to their personalities and family background. Mariam tends to defend and endure, meanwhile Laila is apt to defend and resist. But in the end, both Mariam and Laila fight the oppression to determine their own lives. Key Words : types of oppression, women oppression

Abstract

Malaria merupakan penyakit infeksi yang disebabkan oleh parasit Plasmodium yang hidup dan berkembang biak dalam sel darah merah manusia yang ditularkan oleh nyamuk malaria (Anopheles) betina. Kementrian Kesehatan mencatat bahwa total kasus malaria di Indonesia tahun 2020 sebanyak 254.055, angka kejadian malaria di Provinsi Lampung pada tahun 2021 yaitu sebesar 769 kasus dengan jumlah kematian penyebab malaria sebesar 10,3%. Sedangkan pada tahun 2022 di Provinsi Lampung jumlah penyakit malaria dari Januari hingga Oktober 2022 tercatat 655 kasus. Kasus malaria banyak terjadi di Pesawaran dengan 411 kasus malaria. Tujuan penelitian diketahui hubungan pengetahuan, sikap, dan sumber informasi dengan perilaku pencegahan malaria di Desa Sanggi wilayah kerja Puskesmas Padang Cermin 2023. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif desain cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu 918 KK di Desa Sanggi dengan sampel sebanyak 162 KK. Teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisoner. Analisis data menggunakan univariat (distribusi Frekuensi) dan bivariat (chi square). Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa ada hubungan pengetahuan (p-value = 0,001), sikap (p-value = 0,001), dan sumber informasi (p-value = 0,005) dengan perilaku pencegahan malaria. Kesimpulan ada hubungan antara pengetahuan, sikap, dan sumber informasi dengan perilaku pencegahan malaria di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Padang Cermin. Saran diharapkan petugas kesehatan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan melalui edukasi kesehatan dan seleksi sumber intervensi untuk masyarakat yang benar agar perilaku pencegahan malaria dapat diterapkan di desa yang dilakukan 1x sebulan.Kata Kunci : perilaku pencegahan malaria, pengetahuan, sikap, dan sumber informasi

Abstract

Cirebon, a city rich in history and culture, seeks to modernize while preserving its unique heritage. As part of its Smart City initiative, there is a need for a unifying symbol that reflects its identity and connects its technological advancements with cultural heritage. Wistakon, a symbol rooted in local tradition, is proposed as the ideal icon for this purpose. The study employs a mixed-method approach, including qualitative interviews with local stakeholders (government officials, cultural experts, and residents) and quantitative surveys to gauge public perception and acceptance of Wistakon as a city icon. Additionally, an analysis of successful case studies from other smart cities using cultural icons will be conducted to draw best practices.This research aims to conduct a performance study of the Wistakon Application service as an identity icon for Cirebon smart city. In this research, researchers examine the weaknesses and obstacles that arise when this application is used by domestic tourists. Apart from that, researchers also studied the benefits of the Wistakon application. The literature study used is the Integrated Guest-Operator Framework (IGOF) Theory as a framework for understanding the relationship between tour operators and tourist guests in the context of the tourism industry. This theory emphasizes the importance of integration and balance between the needs and expectations of tourist guests with the strategies and operations carried out by tour operators. Based on the results of the study, researchers concluded that the Wistakon application still needs development, socialization and promotion.

Ngingas Hamlet is an area located in Simpang Village, Prambon District, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java. This hamlet has a tourist attraction called Alas Outbound or better known as Alas Prambon. However, in Ngingas Hamlet it is felt that it has good potential by adding a village mural and there is still a lack of dena in Alas Outbound tourism and there is still no RT / RW sign. The purpose of this design is to create an environmental graphic design that is applied according to the needs of Ngingas Hamlet.This environmental graphic aims to find out the layout, location plan and identity of the head of the RT / RW in Ngingas Hamlet, as well as beautify Ngigas Hamlet by making a village mural so that visitors get a happy atmosphere when visiting Alas Outbound.Data collection methods used in this design include observation, literature study, documentation and interviews. Abstract

Cough and runny nose are symptoms of Upper Respiratory Tract Infection in children under 5 years old. ARI is a major cause of morbidity and mortality from infectious diseases worldwide. ARI is also the third cause of death in the world. The problem of cold cough in toddlers is very common, because toddlers' immune systems are still low so they are very susceptible to contracting viruses. Parents who find their child has a cold cough think it is normal for toddlers. Late and inappropriate handling of cold coughs can exacerbate the toddler's condition resulting in seizures. The purpose of the researchers to conduct this study was to determine the mother's knowledge about cold cough massage in infants aged 0-12 months. This study used a quantitative descriptive method with a design. sampling using Cross Sectional, the data collection tool is a questionnaire, the results of this research show that there are 10 mothers' knowledge based on the lacking category (33,3%), 16 mothers with adequate knowledge (53,3%), and mothers with sufficient knowledge good as much as 4 people (13,3%). Abstract

The Background of early marriage is a marriage that is carried out it a young age between two young couples who have not reaached the age limit. Whose eventual impact on the well-being of families and in society as a whole. The aim of the study was to determine the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, and youth education with the incidence of earli marriage in the village of Ulak Patian Kepenuhan sub-districtRokan Hulu district. The research method is quantitative analytic with a cross sectional approach. The results of research 95 respondents who did early marriage were 89 (93.7%) respondents, while those who did not were 6 (6,3%) respondents. Respondents with less knowledge were 64 (67.4%) and respondents with good knowledge were 31 (32.6%) respondents. Respondents with a negative attitude 44 (46.3%) respondents and a positive attitude as many as 51 (53.7%) respondents. Respondents with low educatin were 82 (86.3%) and with high education were 13 (13,7%). There is a relationship between knoweledge and early marriagr (0,000), There is not a relationship between attitude and early marriagr (1,000), There is a relationship between education and early marriagr (0,039). Conclusion, there is a relationship between knoweledge and early marriagr, there is not a relationship between attitude and early marriage. There is a relationship between education and early marriage. Suggestions are ecpected as input for adolescents and forms of prevention of marriage at an early age so as not to engage in early marriage.
