Abstract

This research aims to identify effective strategies in building digital literacy to face online challenges in elementary schools. Using qualitative methods, data was collected through interviews, classroom observations, and surveys of teachers, students, and parents. The research results show that the integration of digital literacy in the curriculum, ongoing training for teachers, and improving technology access and infrastructure significantly improve students' digital understanding and skills. These findings show active participation from various parties. No significant differences were found in the effectiveness of this strategy based on student gender or grade, indicating universal and inclusive application. Thus, this research highlights the importance of collaboration between schools and families and the provision of adequate resources to create an optimal and inclusive digital learning environment for all students.

Abstract

Understanding the concept of multiplying two numbers in mathematics learning is something that should be taught to students as a basis for understanding more complex mathematical operations. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of mathematics learning using the GASING method on multiplication of two-digit numbers. This research uses a type of library research. Data collection uses documentation techniques. Next, the data was analyzed using content analysis techniques. This analysis is used to obtain valid references. The research results show that the GASING method can deepen the concept of multiplication packaged with interesting and fun games which have an impact on increasing academic grades. Thus, the application of the GASING method in learning has implications for the active involvement of students in the classroom which has an impact on strengthening in-depth understanding of mathematical concepts.

Abstract

This research aims to explore students' reading interest at SDN 5 Sudaji, Buleleng, as well as providing efforts that can be made to increase students' reading interest at this school. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interview and data triangulation techniques. Data analysis is carried out through an interactive model which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The informants in this research were students at SDN 5 Sudaji, Buleleng, which is close to where the researcher lives. The research results show that students' interest in reading at SDN 5 Sudaji is still low. As a solution, researchers offer the school literacy movement (GLS) which includes providing library services in schools, reading corners in class, and holding competitions in schools. Apart from that, efforts to increase students' interest in reading in the family environment are also discussed.

Abstract

Tri Hita Karana is the local wisdom of the Balinese people that emphasizes the harmonization of relationships with God, fellow humans, and nature and is predicted to create an organizational culture in Society 5.0. However, studies showing the influence are still limited. Therefore, this study examines Tri Hita Karana's influence on adaptability, consistency, engagement, and mission as an organizational culture. This study is a quantitative study with an ex post facto approach involving 164 nurses with a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a closed questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale. The evaluation used PLS-SEM with a second-order formative reflective model approach for theoretical studies. The evaluation used SEM-PLS with a second-order formative reflective model approach. The main findings of this study identified that Tri Hita Karana affects organizational culture. Tri Hita Karana, which consists of spiritual, social, and ecological values, has a direct positive effect on adaptability, consistency, involvement, and mission. The study also indicated that the influence on adaptability has a higher effect size than other dimensions. The findings provide an understanding of organizational management and encourage them to consider the concept of Tri Hita Karana as an organizational culture for organizational sustainability in the era of Society 5.0.

Abstract

The lack of priests in some dioceses in Indonesia has become a constant problem due to the dearth of candidates for the clergy. This situation  cannot be overcome if the diocesan Bishop of the mentioned dioceses would con-tinue to entrust parochial ministries only to the ordained  ministers. A question then could be raised: Can parochial ministry be entrusted to a lay person? This is a fundamental question because this is not just a case of maximizing the participation of the laity in handling parochial ministries, but also a question about the legality of allowing the laity to handle parochial ministry. Canon 517 § 2 provides the possibi-lity of entrusting the pastoral care of a parish to a person other than priest. For the purpose of this study, I focuse on the person of lay cate-chists due to their specific preparation for such important service. By virtue of law and given by the parti-cular condition of some dioceses in Indonesia as well as their personal capability, some of lay cathecists should be appointed as parochial administrators by the diocesan Bishop given the needs of the people and the place.

Abstract

The problem found in fourth grade is that the learning process tends to only use the lecture method so that students are not motivated to learn because it tends to be boring. In addition, the use of learning media is not optimal. This development research has objectives, namely to: (1) describe the design of PBL-based interactive learning video media, (2) find out the acceptability of PBL-based interactive learning video media, (3) find out the effectiveness of the application of PBL-based interactive learning video media used to increase IPAS learning motivation of grade IV elementary school students. This development research uses the ADDIE model, there are five stages, namely: (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. Data collection method with document study and questionnaire. The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire guideline. The effectiveness of the model was tested through an experiment involving control and experimental groups, where pre-tests and post-tests were used to measure differences in student learning motivation before and after the application of learning media. The results showed that: (1) this study has succeeded in producing PBL-based interactive learning video media that ensures a more interactive and engaging learning experience, particularly suited for fostering problem-solving skills in science education of grade IV elementary school students. (2) media acceptability validation index of 0.944 with very high predicate / qualification; (3) the significance value (2-tailed) in the correlated t-test shows a number of <0.001, smaller than 0.05 (significance level of 5%). In conclusion PBL-based interactive learning video media is effectively used to increase IPAS learning motivation of grade IV elementary school students.

Abstract

Jerome S. Bruner’s theory of cognitive development views learners as active builders of their own understanding. He argues that learning is a personal process, deeply influenced by social interaction, hands-on experience, and language. Central to his ideas are discovery learning, the spiral curriculum, and the three modes of knowledge representation—enactive, iconic, and symbolic. According to Bruner, education should encourage students to explore, discover, and reflect for themselves. His approach remains highly relevant today, aligning with the 21st-century emphasis on critical thinking, creativity, and independent learning.

Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in advancing the nation and improving the quality of human resources in Indonesia. However, the education gap remains a major issue that needs to be addressed immediately, both in terms of access, quality, and outcomes. This article examines various forms of education gaps, such as differences in access between urban and rural areas, obstacles to access to education for women, disparities in education quality between elite private and public schools, and variations in learning outcomes as reflected in student participation and achievement levels. This research uses a literature review method, analyzing recent sources from the past ten years to identify the causes, challenges, and solutions. The study reveals that the gap is caused by socioeconomic, geographic, and cultural factors, as well as imbalances in policies and resources. Therefore, addressing the education gap requires a comprehensive approach, encompassing quality improvement in disadvantaged areas, equitable access to technology, teacher training, and the implementation of fair and inclusive policies. It is hoped that these efforts will create quality education and equal opportunities for all Indonesian children, regardless of social or geographic background.
