Abstract

The degree of severity of autism can cause deficits in the development of activities of daily living, one of which is personal hygiene skills (bathing, toileting, washing hands, brushing teeth). The development of personal hygiene skills is important for children with autism spectrum disorders for health promotion and ensuring opportunities for increased socialization and participation in various environments. Strategies that incorporate visual support are considered evidence-based practices that capitalize on the strengths of children with ASD. Sources of images for creating visual support are actually quite a lot available on the internet, but they are still rarely suitable for Indonesian culture. This study aims to (1) develop visual support products based on local wisdom as a personal hygiene learning strategy for children on the autistic spectrum, and (2) determine the feasibility of visual support products based on local wisdom in learning personal hygiene for children with autism spectrum disorders. This study adapted the ADDIE approach to only 3 stages: Analyze, Design, and Develop. The findings of this study are: (1) this development resulted in an electronic catalog book and visual supports on personal hygiene based on Indonesian local wisdom, and (2) the electronic catalog book and visual supports based on Indonesian local wisdom in learning personal hygiene for children with autism spectrum disorders are very feasible based on expert validation.

Abstract

Graduates of the Vocational Education in Mechanical Engineering (PVTM) program at Ivet University have predominantly pursued careers in relevant fields of expertise. A total of 87% of alumni work as educators. According to the graduate profile, PVTM alumni are also projected to become industry instructors and entrepreneurs. However, a key issue arises regarding the implementation of the Indonesian National Qualification Framework (KKNI) curriculum in PVTM, which remains focused on less adaptable skills, leading to concerns about graduates' competencies in the industry. By integrating the concept of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) with the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) in the technical schema, graduate competencies are expected to be strengthened and better recognized in the industry. This study aims to design an OBE-integrated curriculum aligned with SKKNI to support the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) initiative in the Vocational Education in Mechanical Engineering program at Ivet University. The research employed the Borg and Gall research and development methodology, culminating in a hypothetical model represented by a draft curriculum ready for trial implementation. The findings resulted in an OBE-integrated curriculum draft aligned with SKKNI, targeting the Level IV Welding Inspector occupational schema, comprising: (1) Eighteen study topics forming eight core courses within the program; (2) A curriculum integrated with three key concepts: OBE, SKKNI, and Welding Inspector; (3) Study topics applicable to Merdeka Belajar activities such as independent studies, student exchange programs, and projects; (A survey of 10 expert respondents, where 83% strongly agreed, 12% agreed, and 5% were neutral regarding the draft curriculum's feasibility. Thus, it can be concluded that the developed curriculum draft is suitable for trial implementation.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the offense of Criminal Conspiracy in Narcotics Crimes and to determine the basis of the judge's considerations in Decision Number 120/Pid.Sus/2023/PN Mks. This research uses normative legal research methods, and a discussion of this thesis is written as a legal research method. The use of normative research methods in research efforts and writing this thesis is based on the suitability of theory with the research methods required by the author. The results obtained are presented descriptively. 1.) Law Number 35 of 2009 regulates sanctions against narcotics abusers who commit narcotics crimes. Dangerous Conspiracy is the act of two or more people conspiring to commit, carry out, assist, participate in, order, recommend, facilitate, provide consultation, become members of a narcotics crime organization, or organize narcotics crimes. Any person who offers to sell, sells, buys, receives, becomes an intermediary in buying and selling, exchanges, or delivers Class I Narcotics without right or against the law shall be punished with life imprisonment, a minimum imprisonment of five years, and a maximum imprisonment of twenty years, and fines of one billion rupiahs and ten billion rupiahs. 2) The Panel of Judges in case no. 120/Pid.Sus/2023/PN Mks sentenced the defendant to six years in prison and a fine of Rp. 1,000,000,000.00 for conspiracy to buy and sell narcotics class I. The defendant's actions were considered aggravating because he rejected the government's efforts to eradicate narcotics and drug abuse, as well as reducing his polite attitude at trial. The defendant has never been convicted; this shows that the defendant's actions are in line with the goals of the criminal justice system.
