Abstract

Patient loyalty is an important indicator of the success of hospital services, which is influenced by patient satisfaction. Patient satisfaction is shaped by various factors, including service waiting time, service quality, and the comfort of the facilities used during health services. This study aims to analyze the effects of service waiting time, service quality, and facility comfort on patient loyalty, with patient satisfaction as a mediating variable, at the Dental Polyclinic of Al Irsyad Hospital Surabaya. The study used a quantitative approach, employing survey methods and total sampling with 90 patients. Data were collected through questionnaires that had passed validity and reliability tests, and were then analyzed using path analysis. The results of the study showed that service waiting time, service quality, and facility comfort contributed to patient satisfaction, which in turn increased patient loyalty. These findings show that patient satisfaction plays an important role as a mediating variable in the relationship between the quality of service patients receive and their loyalty. Therefore, improving service quality, reducing waiting times, and providing comfortable facilities need to be priorities for hospitals to increase satisfaction and maintain patient loyalty.

Abstract

This study analyses the effect of workload, career development, and job satisfaction on employee performance at Ajibarang Regional General Hospital, Banyumas Regency. It employs a quantitative, descriptive-verificative approach with a cross-sectional design. The sample comprises 92 employees selected through proportionate stratified random sampling from a population of 717. Data were collected using a 46-item Likert questionnaire tested for validity and reliability, transformed with the Method of Successive Interval, and analysed through multiple linear regression. Descriptively, workload is perceived as light, career development and job satisfaction are good, and employee performance is high. Hypothesis testing shows that workload has a negative but insignificant effect, career development has a positive but insignificant effect, whereas job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect and is the largest contributor to employee performance. Simultaneously, the three variables exert a significant effect and explain a substantial portion of the variance in employee performance. Promotion is the weakest dimension within the most influential variable. Hospital management is advised to prioritise restructuring promotion mechanisms, particularly for non-civil-servant BLUD employees, and to reorganise working-time arrangements in units with frequent overtime.

Abstract

Background: A convenient first transaction does not inherently guarantee repeat purchasing when product authenticity, seller conduct, privacy, delivery reliability, and complaint resolution remain uncertain. Aim: This focused review explains how the relationship between the focal practices and repurchase intention operates in Indonesian consumers purchasing goods and services through digital marketplace platforms. Method: A structured narrative review integrates peer-reviewed research and authoritative institutional sources. The source record is coded by mechanism, boundary condition, organizational rollout risk, and practical implication. Results: The synthesis identifies six linked mechanisms: platform and seller credibility, information quality, transaction security, fulfilment reliability, service recovery, cumulative customer experience. The investigation indicates that outcomes depend less on nominal adoption than on organizational rollout quality, governance, learning, and fit with local capacity. Conclusion: Decision makers should define the expected outcome, assign responsibility, establish a small set of auditable indicators, and revise the intervention when source record contradicts its assumptions. Contribution: The study provides a conditional framework without claiming primary data that were not collected.

Abstract

Background: Customers experience one bank even when service delivery is fragmented across channels, systems, teams, and third parties. Aim: The investigation reported here explains how the relationship between the focal practices and customer loyalty operates in customers moving across mobile applications, websites, contact centres, branches, payment channels, and partner ecosystems. Method: A conceptual narrative synthesis draws on selected scholarly and institutional publications. The discussion is organized around mechanisms, boundary conditions, and practical implications. Results: The synthesis identifies six linked mechanisms: cross-channel consistency, ease and accessibility, security and privacy assurance, personalization with customer control, service recovery, trust built across repeated journeys. The study indicates that outcomes depend less on nominal adoption than on operational adoption quality, governance, learning, and fit with local capacity. Conclusion: Decision makers should define the expected outcome, assign responsibility, establish a small set of auditable indicators, and revise the intervention when research material contradicts its assumptions. Contribution: The assessment provides a conditional framework without claiming primary data that were not collected.

Abstract

Patients’ intention to make repeat visits is an important aspect of sustaining healthcare services, particularly in dental and orthodontic clinics. A patient’s decision to return may be influenced not only by the price paid but also by perceived service quality and trust in the healthcare provider. This study aimed to examine the effects of price perception, service quality, and patient trust on patients’ intention to make repeat visits at Parahyangan Dental and Orthodontics Bandung. A quantitative approach with descriptive and verificative methods was employed. Data were collected through questionnaires from 171 patients. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, t-test, and F-test. The results showed that price perception, service quality, patient trust, and repeat visit intention were all categorized as high, with mean scores of 3.95, 4.21, 4.04, and 4.12, respectively. Partially, price perception, service quality, and patient trust had positive and significant effects on repeat visit intention, with t-values of 4.579, 8.879, and 7.249, respectively (p<0.05). Simultaneously, the three independent variables had a significant effect on repeat visit intention, with an F-value of 49.981 (p<0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.473 indicates that 47.3% of the variation in repeat visit intention can be explained by price perception, service quality, and patient trust.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of medical staff communication skills training and patient satisfaction on medical team performance at Permata Husada Hospital, Yogyakarta. The research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method administered to outpatient and inpatient patients selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression after passing validity and reliability tests. Descriptively, respondents’ perceptions of the three variables indicate a positive trend, with the majority categorizing communication skills, satisfaction, and team performance at a high level. Hypothesis testing reveals that communication training has no significant partial effect on medical team performance (β = –0.005; p = 0.731). Conversely, patient satisfaction has a positive and significant effect (β = 0.084; p = 0.004). Simultaneously, both independent variables significantly influence team performance (F = 4.381; p = 0.013), although the coefficient of determination is relatively low (R² = 0.025). These findings confirm that communication serves as an indirect foundation, whereas patient satisfaction acts as the primary indicator of performance assessment within Yogyakarta’s competitive private healthcare market. It is recommended that hospital management improve training consistency, particularly during peak hours and for elderly patients, and prioritize patient satisfaction as a strategic lever for service differentiation and continuous quality improvement aligned with patient expectations.

Abstract

Research on the dynamics of gender research in marketing explores the evolution of value-based paradigms, perspectives, and commitments that influence our understanding of the role of gender in consumer behavior and marketing strategy. From the simplistic separation of men and women in consumer preferences in the 1970s to the recognition of the complexity of gender identity and the importance of inclusivity, fairness, and sustainability in marketing practices today, these developments reflect changes in social norms, consumer demands, and values. the value of the company. However, this research is faced with challenges, including research methodology that is not always sensitive to gender diversity, difficulties in accurate gender measurement, and the integration of gender frameworks with existing marketing frameworks. To overcome these challenges and deepen our understanding of gender in marketing, an inclusive, collaborative and interdisciplinary approach is needed. More in-depth research on gender in marketing will help develop marketing strategies that are more effective, inclusive and have a positive impact on society as a whole. Therefore, it is recommended to continue to encourage cross-disciplinary collaboration between marketing and gender researchers, and to develop research methods that are more flexible and sensitive to gender diversity. In this way, we can better respond to the complexities of gender in the marketing context and ensure that implemented marketing practices reflect the values of inclusivity, fairness and sustainability.

Abstract

Background: Organizations increasingly depend on audit data analytics governance, yet visible activity does not by itself demonstrate reliable capability or sustainable value. Fragmented responsibilities, weak evidence, and locally optimized metrics can cause decisions about model and technology controls to create unmanaged exposure elsewhere. Aim: This article develops a governance framework that connects audit data analytics governance, model and technology controls, and human judgment through five mutually reinforcing capabilities: data integrity, model and technology controls, human judgment, accountability, and continuous monitoring. Method: The paper uses an integrative conceptual review. Established management research, professional standards, and institutional guidance are synthesized through construct clarification, mechanism mapping, risk-control analysis, and proposition development. It does not report respondents, sample statistics, or causal estimates. Results: The synthesis indicates that performance becomes more resilient when decision rights, data definitions, controls, escalation paths, and learning routines are designed as one management system. The proposed model links each capability to observable evidence and balanced indicators. Contribution: The article offers an auditable implementation sequence and propositions that can be tested in later empirical research.
