AbstractThis research is aims ability to describe ability of students in working on math word problem at 4th grade in SDIT Wisata Hasanah Pontianak Tenggara. Overall the ability of students to solve story problems is still lacking value average = (38,90). The method used is descriptive with the survai research form.Who were selected to be interviewed were 6 people. Data collection tools in the form of written tests in the form of essays with a total of 2 questions.Based on the results of the study of students' ability to understand the problem of high and medium group story problems can write what is known and what is asked correctly and completely. Low groups can only write what is known. The ability of students to make a plan to solve the problem of the middle and high mathematics groups can write the formula in solving the problem correctly and completely, the low math group writes the formula but it is less precise and incomplete. The ability to implement a mathematical group problem solving plan can write the completion process thoroughly and the results are correct, the math group is successful in writing the completion process without the strand and the results are correct, the math group is low. The ability to look back on the results obtained by the medium and high mathematics groups checks again the answers obtained and concludes the answers. Low math groups do not check the results obtained but write conclusions of incomplete answers Keywords: Learning Mathematics, Math Word Problem, Students Ability

AbstractThe problem in this study is "How does the influence of the use of the discussion method on the learning outcomes of citizenship education in third grade students of 09 Pontianak Barat Elementary School?". This study aims to determine the effect of the use of discussion methods on the learning outcomes of Citizenship Education Class III students. The population in this study were all students of class III A, amounting to 30 students, III B totaling 30 students, III C totaling 30 students and III D totaling 34 students. The research sample consisted of III A 30 students in the control class and III C 30 students in the experimental class. Based on statistical calculations the average post-test learning outcomes of the control class is 66.10 and the average post-test of the experimental class is 70.70. From this explanation, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of the discussion method on the learning outcomes of Citizenship Education class III students of 09 Pontianak Elementary School in West Pontianak in the medium category.Keyword : Citizenship Education, Discussion Methods, Influence, Learning Outcomes.

Keluhan tentang rendahnya kemampuan membaca permulaan di kelas I sekolah dasar bukan merupakan rahasia lagi. Banyak faktor yang menjadi belum maksimalnya kemampuan siswa. Namun, dalam hal ini yang menjadi faktor utama adalah kurangnya kreativitas dan kemauan dari guru untuk mencoba menggunakan strategi dan media pembelajaran yang bervariasi. Tujuan utama tulisan ini adalah menginformasikan, mengidentifikasikan, dan menguraikan teori yang berkaitan dengan pembelajaran membaca permulaan di kelas I sekolah dasar menggunakan strategi kopasus. Dengan bertambahnya wawasan mengenai teori dan implikasinya serta peningkatan kreativitas guru dalam menggunakan media yang lebih bervariasi, diharapkan kemampuan membaca siswa lebih meningkat.Kata kunci: pembelajaran, strategi kopasus, permainan, karakteristik siswa

Kegiatan membaca siswa di sekolah dasar masih belum maksimal. Kegemaran membaca siswa masih sangat kurang (rendah). Kesadaran guru untuk memberikan motivasi membaca pada siswa juga masih renda. Sebagian guru ada yang berpendapat tugas memberikan motivasi membaca merupakan tugas guru mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Padahal tugas ini adalah tugas semua guru. Jadi betapa pentingnya pemberian motivasi membaca pada siswa, karena membaca merupakan modal dasar mempelajari seluruh mata pelajaran di sekolah. Oleh karena itu, dalam tulisan ini penulis sengaja mengangkat hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan jenis-jenis motivasi yang sesuai untuk memotivasi siswa membaca, usaha-usaha guru dalam memotivasi siswa untuk membaca, dan pemilihan bahan bacaan yang tepat bagi siswa dalam kegiatan membaca.Kata Kunci: pemberian motivasi, kegiatan membaca, siswa, sekolah dasar

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of cooperative learning model type talking stick on the results of social science learning class III students of 34 Public Elementary Schools in Pontianak City. The form of research used was quasi experimental design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample in this study was class III A (control class) and class III C (experimental class) consisting of 60 people. Data collection techniques used are measurement techniques with data collection tools used in the form of a test of student learning outcomes in the form of multiple choices totaling 50 questions. Based on the results of data analysis, the average learning outcomes of control class students were 70.20 while the average learning outcomes of experimental class students was 75.30. The results of testing hypotheses (t-test) using t-test obtained by t count of 3.003 and t table (? = 5% and dk = 58) of 2.00172, indicating that t count (3.003)> t table (2.00172). then Ha is accepted. This means that there is an effect of learning outcomes between students who are taught with cooperative learning models Type talking stick with students taught without cooperative learning model talking stick type.  AbstractThis study aims to analyze the influence of the application of whole language approach of guided reading component of poetry reading skill of grade V students of State Elementary School 14 Pontianak Selatan. The research method used is the experimental method, while the research form used is the sample population. Data collection techniques used in this study is a measurement technique with the scoring of students' poetry reading skills. Based on result of data analysis from mean value of result of pre-test 50 and average post-test 68,517. The result of t test obtained t table on the significant level α = 5% is 2.086. Because t count (16,405) > t table (2,042), then hypothesis testing of post-test data is accepted if t count > t table then alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. From the calculation of effect size (ES), obtained by 0.143 Learning by applying the whole language approach of guided reading component gives a big influence to the poetry reading skill of grade V students of State Elementary School 14 Pontianak Soulth. Keywords: Influence, Whole Language Approach Guided Reading Components, Poetry    Reading Skills

                       AbstractIn learning to write poetry in class V Public Elementary School 66 Pontianakthere are still many students who have not been able to write poetry well. This needs to be overcome by updating learning, either through the use of media or learning models. One that has been tested and proven to support students' skills in writing poetry is to apply an outdoor learning model. Based on the analysis of the situation, the problem in this study is "How is the influence of the application of outdoor learning models on poetry writing skills of fifth grade students of Public Elementary School 66 Pontianak?".This study aims to analyze the effect of the application of outdoor learning models on poetry writing skills.The method used is the experimental method, while the form of research used pre-experimental design with the design of the group-pretest-posttest design. The population and sample in this study were all fifth grade students of Public Elementary School 66 Pontianakin the academic year 2017/2018 totaling 36 students. Data collection techniques used in this study are direct observation techniques and measurement techniques. Based on the results of data analysis of the mean value of pre-test 72.19 and post-test mean 77.53. The result of the t test is obtained by t table = 5%, with db = 35 is 2.03. Because t count (4.68)> t table (2.03), then the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. So that it can be concluded that there is an effect of applying the outdoor learning model to the poetry writing skills of fifth grade students of Public Elementary School 66 Pontianak. Keywords: Influence, Outdoor Learning Models, Poetry Writing Skills

Abstract The problem in this research is "How is the effect of using the serial image to the writing skill description in class III State Elementary School 35 South Pontianak?". This study aims to analyze the effect of the use of serial images on the skill of writing descriptions in class III State Elementary School 35 Pontianak Selatan. This research uses experimental method, with Quasi Experimental Design form. Population and sample in this research is all student of class III State Elementary School 35 Pontianak Selatan which amounts to 65 people. Techniques used in data collection is a measurement technique with the tool used is essay-shaped written test and documentary / bibliographic study technique that is collecting photographs of research conducted. Based on the data analysis, the average of the result of the final test (post-test) of the experimental class is 80,91 and the mean of the final test result (post-test) of control class student is 75,72. After t test is obtained t count of 2.0513 while ttable (= 5% of 1.6749, it turns thitung ≥ ttable or 2.0513 ≥ 1.6749 which means there is a significant effect on the use of serial image media From the calculation of effect size obtained by 0.388 with criteria classified moderate.This means the use of media drawing series to give a moderate effect on the skill of writing a description in the class III State Elementary School 35 Pontianak Selatan. Keywords: Influence, Media Image Series, Essay Description.   Â

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskrifsikan pelaksanaan dan hasil pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan media manik-manik bilangan pada siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 30 Amak, Kecamatan Sekadau Hilir Kabupaten Sekadau. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriftif, dalam hal ini berupa tindakan kelas. Dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus. Siklus I diperoleh 50% dari total siswa yang tuntas. Hasil refleksi siklus rterungkap bahwa yang melakukan demontrasi hanya guru satu kelompok siswa perwakilan. Menurut obsever agar lebih maksimal hasil belajarnya pada siklus II sebaiknya Penggunaan media manik-manik bilangn harus lebih maksimal. Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Media Manik-manik  Abstract: This research is to describe the result of the implementation and the lesson of math using numeral beads for the fifth grade studens in SDN 30 Amak, Sekadau Hilir, Sekadau. This research applies descriptive study, its also applies classroom action research study in which there are two cycles. In the first cycle there is 50% from the qualified student. The result of the cycle reflects that there is only one teacher, who represents one group, that demonstrates one representative student.
