Abstract

This research is a descriptive study conducted at the Mandalika University of Education which aims to measure the level of scientific argumentation ability of biology prospective teacher at the Mandalika University of Education. A total of 20 respondents were involved in this study. The instrument used to measure the level of scientific argumentation ability is an open-ended question consist of 3 items. The data obtained were then analyzed descriptively. As a result and conclusion, that the level of scientific argumentation ability of biology prospective teacher is still low. Therefore, learning methods are needed that can help students to improve their scientific argumentation ability. There are several ways that can be taken to improve the scientific argumentation ability of biology prospective teacher. One of them is by using Socio-Scientific Issues (SSI). For further research using SSI, it must be done with good planning, preparing controversial themes or topics that will become a matter of debate during the learning process.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to examine and find out empirically about the application of administrative ethics and the implementation of positive school culture and their influence in improving the quality of education at SDN Panorama, Cidaun District, Cianjur Regency. In general, this research aims to analyze and describe the role of administrative ethics and positive culture in improving the quality of education at SDN Panorama. In this research, the author used a qualitative descriptive approach. The research methods are observation, interviews and documentation. Data collection is the recording of events, information and matters relating to some or all elements of the population that will support the research. The results of the research show that the aspects of educational administration and the implementation of positive culture at SDN Panorama have gone very well. It is proven that all SDN Panorama students have good character and personality as a result of several programs supporting the implementation of positive culture. In the organizational aspect that supports the implementation of student administration ethics with a positive culture, all teachers, committee members and parents of students are united in supporting the positive culture program implemented in the school. In the collaborative aspect of implementing positive culture, teachers are at the forefront providing role models and examples of positive discipline habits. The school committee and parents also support this by implementing good habits at school in the family environment in everyday life. With the active role of all school members, the implementation of administrative ethics for students with a positive culture can run well.Keywords: Administrative Ethics, Positive Culture, Educational AdministrationAbstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji dan menemukan secara empiris tentang penerapan etika administrasi dan penerapan budaya positif sekolah serta pengaruhnya dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di SDN Panorama Kecamatan Cidaun Kabupaten Cianjur. Secara umum penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan peran etika administrasi dan budaya positif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di SDN Panorama. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun metode penelitiannya  adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pengumpulan data adalah pencatatan peristiwa-peristiwa, keterangan-keterangan, dan hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan sebagian atau seluruh elemen populasi yang akan mendukung penelitian tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukan dalam aspek administrasi pendidikan dan penerapan budaya positif di SDN Panorama telah berjalan sangat baik. Terbukti seluruh peserta didik SDN Panorama mempunyai karakter dan kepribadian baik imbas dari beberapa program pendukung penerapan budaya positif. Dalam aspek pengorganisasian yang mendukung penerapan etika administrasi siswa berbudaya positif semua guru, jajaran komite, orang tua peserta didik kompak mendukung program budaya positif yang diterapkan di sekolah. Dalam aspek kolaborasi penerapan budaya positif, guru-guru menjadi yang terdepan memberikan teladan dan contoh-contoh pemebiasaan disiplin yang positif. Komite sekolah dan orang tua ikut mendukung dengan cara pembiasaan yang baik disekolah diterapkan pula di lingkungan kelurga dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan peran aktif semua warga sekolah penerapan etika administrasi siswa berbudaya positif dapat berjalan dengan baik. Kata Kunci: Etika Administrasi, Budaya Positif, Administrasi Pendidikan.

Abstract

IPS learning in elememtary school still using conventional caused student learning outcome low, so the teacher will hold class action research that has goal to describe planning, application and evaluation by using Cooperative Learning Approach Inside Outside Circle type. By seeing the result of the research can be concluded that students learning outcome in cognitive domain will increase 17% , affective 12% and psychomotor 8% , so social science learning by using Cooperative Learning Approach Inside Outside Circle tipe must be applied and developed in order to increase the quality of education in the future. Abstract

The success of maternal health programs is often evaluated using the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR), which measures deaths during pregnancy, childbirth, and the puerperium due to pregnancy-related causes. In 2020, hypertension in pregnancy was a leading cause of maternal deaths, with 1,110 cases reported. Pre-eclampsia, characterized by hypertension (blood pressure ≥140/90 mmHg) and proteinuria after 20 weeks of gestation, is a significant concern. Overweight and obesity are high-risk factors associated with increased pregnancy complications, including pre-eclampsia. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between Body Mass Index (BMI) and pre-eclampsia at Amanat Hospital in Makassar City. Using an observational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach, 284 pregnant women were assessed. The prevalence of pre-eclampsia was found to be 9.9%, with 28 women diagnosed. Bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square test revealed a significant association between BMI and pre-eclampsia (p = 0.001), while no significant association was found between Upper Arm Circumference (LILA) and pre-eclampsia (p = 0.348). The study concludes that BMI is significantly associated with pre-eclampsia, whereas LILA does not show a significant relationship.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi orang tua terhadap pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keterlibatan orang tua dalam pendidikan anak-anaknya. Metode penelitian yang digunkan yaitu systematic literature review atau studi literatur sistematis. Penelitian ini menganalisis berbagai artikel yang membahas persepsi orang tua terhadap PAUD, dengan fokus pada latar belakang pendidikan, status sosial ekonomi, dan pemahaman orang tua tentang manfaat PAUD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar orang tua memiliki persepsi positif terhadap PAUD, meskipun tingkat keterlibatan mereka bervariasi. Orang tua dengan latar belakang pendidikan yang lebih tinggi dan pengetahuan lebih tentang PAUD cenderung lebih aktif mendampingi anak-anak mereka dalam pendidikan. Faktor ekonomi juga berperan penting karena orang tua dengan status sosial ekonomi lebih tinggi lebih cenderung mendaftarkan anak-anak mereka ke PAUD. Temuan ini juga mengungkapkan tantangan yang dihadapi oleh orang tua, seperti biaya pendidikan dan keterbatasan akses ke lembaga PAUD berkualitas, terutama di daerah pedesaan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pemahaman lebih lanjut tentang peran persepsi orang tua dalam pendidikan anak usia dini dan pentingnya peningkatan literasi PAUD. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengembangan komik digital interaktif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa anak usia dini, dengan fokus pada penguasaan kosakata, pengucapan, keterlibatan dalam pembelajaran, dan pengenalan nilai-nilai sosial dan moral. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dengan metode observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan guru PAUD, serta dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komik digital interaktif secara signifikan meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata dan kemampuan pengucapan anak-anak. Selain itu, komik digital juga berhasil meningkatkan keterlibatan anak dalam pembelajaran, dengan anak-anak menunjukkan minat yang lebih besar terhadap pembelajaran bahasa. Komik digital interaktif juga memperkenalkan nilai-nilai sosial seperti kerjasama, kejujuran, dan empati melalui cerita-cerita dalam komik, yang mendukung perkembangan karakter anak-anak. Kesimpulannya, komik digital interaktif bukan hanya alat yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa anak usia dini, tetapi juga media yang dapat mendukung perkembangan sosial dan moral mereka. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada penerapan teknologi dalam pendidikan anak usia dini, khususnya dalam pembelajaran bahasa.

Abstract

This research aims to deeply understand the dynamics of religious behavior and experiences among street teenagers in the traffic light area near SGC Mall Cikarang. The main focus of the study covers three aspects: mental (inner well-being and spiritual experiences), cognitive (religious beliefs and views), and behavioral (daily religious practices). This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach through in-depth interviews and field observations. The findings reveal that the religiosity of street teenagers remains strong despite social and economic limitations. Their religious expression is reflected not only in worship practices but also in moral behavior and solidarity with one another. Religion serves as a source of meaning, peace, and mental strength in facing the harsh realities of street life.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ vocabulary through the use of audio-lingual method by using WordUp application at MA Al-Fatah Gondang in the eleventh grade. The data were collected using a mixed-method approach, including interviews and tests. This study uses an intact-group comparison design where the researcher divides the eleventh grade into two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. In its application, the experimental group uses the audio-lingual method by using WordUp application while the control group uses other methods and is carried out in one cycle, namely pre-test, treatment, post-test. The results of the study show that the use of the audio-lingual method by using WordUp application can improve students’ vocabulary because this method successfully motivates students to continue learning vocabulary. The audio feature makes students aware that their pronunciation is still lacking and the example sentences in each word help students’ motivation and confidence to continue learning vocabulary. The students’ vocabulary has increased, as shown by test scores from pre-test to post-test. Therefore, the audio-lingual method by using WordUp application are considered effective in improving students’ vocabulary and fostering motivation to learn English.

Abstract

This study examines the role of financial management as a mediating variable in the relationship between financial literacy, income, lifestyle, and investment decisions. Grounded in financial literacy theory, personal financial management theory, and behavioral finance, the research proposes and empirically tests a conceptual model using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Data were collected from all 155 employees of the Smart City & Community Innovation Center (SCCIC) using a structured questionnaire measured on a five-point Likert scale. The results reveal that financial literacy and income do not have a direct effect on investment decisions; however, both variables significantly influence financial management. Financial management, in turn, has a very strong and significant effect on investment decisions and fully mediates the relationships between financial literacy and investment decisions, as well as between income and investment decisions. Conversely, lifestyle shows no significant direct or indirect effect on either financial management or investment decisions. The model demonstrates strong explanatory power, with an R² value of 0.924 for investment decisions and a Goodness of Fit (GOF) index of 0.571. These findings highlight financial management as the key mechanism through which financial knowledge and financial resources are transformed into effective investment behavior. The study contributes to the literature by emphasizing the central role of financial management in investment decision-making within a professional organizational context and offers practical implications for financial education and organizational financial capability development.

Abstract

The background of this study is to utilize the school environment as a learning medium to implement innovative learning processes and shape students' character, that learning can be done anywhere and anytime as long as it follows the existing learning system references. The purpose of this study is to improve science process skills and student learning outcomes through a learning model of exploring the environment. The type of research used is Class Action Research (PTK). This research was carried out in class XD with a total of 30 students. Data analysis techniques use quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques. The results of the research from cycle I to cycle II of students' science process skills in the observing aspect increased with the very good category, the classification aspect with the good category, the predictive aspect with the good category, the concluding aspect with the very good category, and the communication aspect with the very good category. The learning outcomes of students in the first cycle were obtained by 11 students who did not reach the KKM >70, and in the second cycle 4 people. Thus, it can be concluded that the Exploring the Environment (JAS) learning model can improve science process skills and student learning outcomes.
