Abstract

The millennial generation, who grew up in the technological era, is a pioneer in the sociopreneurship phenomenon as a growing career trend. Their motivations involve concern for social and health issues, making them not only seekers of financial gain but also creators of real solutions to society's challenges. In facing competition and the impact of the pandemic, the enthusiasm and creativity of young sociopreneurs remains unwavering. Through marketing strategies via social media, they utilize technology to spread positive and educational messages to the public. This research, using a descriptive qualitative approach, discusses the character of young sociopreneurs from the millennial generation. The research method involved semi-structured interviews with three successful sociopreneurs, which were then analyzed using thematic analysis. The results illustrate that the sociopreneur character includes courage, creativity, and a focus on positive social change. These findings indicate that the millennial generation, with their technological understanding and humanitarian motivation, plays an important role in shaping an innovative and impactful social entrepreneurship landscape.

Abstract

This study aims to understand entrepreneurship education by implementing an Islamic work ethic in the patchwork community in Pringsewu Regency. This research was conducted on the community of patchwork craftsmen in Pekon Sukamulya, Banyumas sub-district, Pringsewu Regency from 2019 to 2021 with a qualitative approach type of research was phenomenological. Data can be obtained using observation and interviews, and documentation. Researchers used data analysis techniques starting from preparing units, data categorization, and data interpretation. The results showed that Islamic work ethic-based entrepreneurship education carried out by the patchwork community in Pringsewu Regency in order to improve social welfare was carried out through; maintaining the quality of the products produced, setting prices that are adjusted to market analysis, carrying out promotions, providing exemplary service to customers. This research has implications for the importance of implementing management and educational values in every organizational activity carried out to be able to provide maximum results according to the expectations of all parties.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan maksud untuk menganalisis hubungan net working capital, leverage, dividend payment, dan inflasi serta pengaruhnya terhadap cash holding. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian kuantitatif dan metode yang digunakan dalam menentukan sampel yaitu purposive sampling. 22 perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI 2015-2019 diperoleh sebagai sampel. Analisis regresi berganda model data panel dengan alat analisis Eviews 10 dipilih sebagai metode yang digunakan untuk analisis data penelitian. Hasil uji parsial menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan hubungan yang negatif dan signifikan antara net working capital dan leverage terhadap cash holding. Sementara dividend payment memiliki hubungan yang positif dan tidak signifikan serta inflasi memiliki hubungan yang negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap cash holding. Hasil uji simultan menunjukan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara net working capital, leverage, dividend payment, dan inflasi terhadap cash holding.

Abstract

Penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis digital yang diimplementasikan secara daring (online) menjadi pilihan di dalam masa pandemi Covid-19. Beragam aplikasi dan perangkat pembelajaran digital dan salah satunya adalah menggunakan aplikasi Quizizz dalam pembelajaran mata kuliah Enterprise System. Untuk mengetahui tingkat penerimaan (acceptance) dan tingkat penggunaan oleh pengguna aplikasi Quizizz dalam pembelajaran mata kuliah Enterprise System, maka perlu dilakukan penelitian dan penelitian ini menggunakan model Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of the Technology (UTAUT) II. Model UTAUT II ini dipilih karena model ini merupakan penyempurnaan dari delapan model pengujian penerimaan teknologi informasi yang sebelumnya sudah ada. Dalam penelitian ini akan dianalisis tingkat penerimaan aplikasi Quizizz oleh mahasiswa pada pembelajaran mata kuliah Enterprise System di Universitas Mulia PSDKU Samarinda pada tahun pembelajaran 2021/2022. Metode penelitian termasuk ke dalam penelitian kuantitatif dan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrument pengambilan data primernya. Pengujian tingkat penerimaan aplikasi Quizizz ini akan menggunakan modifikasi model UTAUT II yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi populasi mahasiswa sebagai objek penelitian. Diperoleh sebanyak 45 sampel dari 57 populasi. Data diolah dan dianalisis dengan structural equation model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya variabel behavioral intention berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap use behavior.

Abstract

Sharia mutual funds are viewed through the Net Asset Value or NAV. The NAV of Sharia Mutual Funds can be driven by factors from the money supply and inflation. Both of these factors are strong enough to increase the NAV of Islamic mutual funds. The purpose of this article is to analyze the effect of the money supply and inflation on the net asset value of Islamic mutual funds in 2017-2021. The results of the study stated that the variables of money supply (X1) and inflation (X2) together have a significant effect on the net asset value of Islamic mutual funds (Y), the variable money supply (X1) partially has a significant effect on the net asset value of Islamic mutual funds (Y). And the inflation variable (X2) partially affects the net asset value of Islamic mutual funds (Y)

Abstract

Ruin is one of the risks that insurance companies may face. Therefore, modeling the probability of ruin is a crucial aspect of risk management. This study aims to model and analyze the probability of ruin in insurance companies using integro-differential equations, assuming that the claim size follows a mixtures of two exponential distributions. The research methods are literature study and numerical simulation with phyton. Numerical calculations were performed using Python programming, and the results are presented in tables and graphs to facilitate analysis. The model is applied to three different cases. The findings indicate that the probability of ruin is inversely proportional to the initial capital and premium loading, while it is directly proportional to the expected value of claims. In other words, the probability of ruin decreases significantly as the initial capital and premium loading increase, whereas it increases as the expected value of claims rises. Therefore, the greater the surplus of an insurance company, the lower the probability of ruin.

Abstract

Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) are one of the nation's heroes because they are recognized as a source of foreign exchange for the Indonesian nation. The problems faced are getting caught in debt/online loans, fraud under the guise of investment, and consumerist lifestyles. Looking at the explanation of the problems above, the problem solving solution provided in this Community Service activity is to provide education and assistance regarding financial literacy, ethics, psychology and digital literacy. Activities are carried out in the form of workshops and mentoring for 6 months. The results achieved were the implementation of a workshop with a comprehensive evaluation covering aspects of material, resource persons and facilities where the majority of participants responded very well and were willing to take part in further mentoring activities. From the results of the evaluation of the activity, it can be concluded that this activity is very much needed by participants from PMI because, so they get direct benefits and are more able to control themselves to manage finances including being able to apply digital ethics and refrain from doing negative things in the digital world.

Abstract

Research aim : This research is a confirmation study using antecedent variables from the construct of financial literacy to be proven to have a significant relationship if applied to the millennial generation as research subjects. Design/Methode/Approach : Systematic Literature Review Research Finding : As many as 30 antecedent variables were obtained that affect the financial literacy of the millennial generation Theoretical contribution/Originality : The research subjects in the form of relevant research articles were taken through the Google Scholar, Elsevier, Emerald, Garuda portal, etc. as many as 214 articles were detected through the keywords of financial literacy, financial knowledge, retirement, financial decisions, financial management, and financial welfare. The articles were then extracted into only 60 research articles. Of these 60 articles, correlational meta-analysis was carried out. The results of the meta-analysis show that there are 30 antecedent variables that affect the financial literacy of the millennial generation. Practitionel/Policy implication : The results of this study will help policy makers to fill the missing gap between financial literacy programs and the confidence to undertake entrepreneurial ventures. Research limitation : The limitation of this research is that the source of published articles has not reached Scopus indexed journals. so that the possibility of bias in the results of research on each article is still relatively large

Abstract

Tren merger dan akuisisi terus berlanjut dalam dunia persaingan bisnis. Perusahaan bergencar-gencar memperluas skala pasar secara global. Namun, dapat terjalinnya dan keberhasilan hubungan akuisisi dapat disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh moderasi pengetahuan pengalaman internasional dalam pengaruh reputasi perusahaan terhadap akuisisi lintas batas. Data sampel dalam penelitian ini meliputi 48 perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia yang memiliki corporate acquisition pada periode 2018-2021. Teknik pemilihan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan metode analisis data berupa regresi logistik menggunakan aplikasi Smart PLS. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa reputasi memiliki efek negatif pada akuisisi lintas batas. Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa pengetahuan pengalaman internasional mampu memoderasi pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif terhadap hubungan reputasi perusahaan dan akuisisi lintas negara. Tingkat reputasi tinggi juga belum tentu merupakan langkah strategis. Reputasi yang dimiliki tidak cukup untuk dijadikan pondasi namun perlu diimbangi dengan pengalaman yang ada. Dengan demikian, perusahaan mampu mengurangi resiko dan lebih sadar akan hubungan berskala internasional.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of entrepreneurship learning, entrepreneurial attitudes, subjective norms, and entrepreneurial intentions on ecopreneurial behavior. Guided by the Theory of Planned Behavior (Ajzen, 1991), the research employed a quantitative approach using path analysis to examine direct and indirect relationships among the variables. This study examines how entrepreneurship learning influences ecopreneurial behavior through attitudes, subjective norms, and entrepreneurial intention. Primary data were collected through questionnaires from culinary MSME entrepreneurs in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The research population comprised active culinary entrepreneurs, with samples selected using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS to test direct and indirect relationships among variables and validate the proposed behavioral model. The findings show that entrepreneurship learning significantly enhances entrepreneurial attitudes and intentions, with intention mediating the relationship between learning and ecopreneurial behavior. Experiential learning, mentoring, and formal education emerge as key drivers of sustainable entrepreneurial intention. Overall, effective entrepreneurship learning strengthens ecopreneurial behavior, supporting sustainable economic development among culinary entrepreneurs.
