Abstract

This research aims to analyze the learning styles of grade 7 students at SMP Negeri 01 Jaya Pura for the 2023-2024 academic year in East Oku Regency, South Sumatra Province. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of this research were all 7th grade students of SMP Negeri 01 Jaya Pura for the 2023-2024 academic year in East Oku Regency, South Sumatra Province. The data collection technique used in this research is in the form of a questionnaire which will be filled out by research subjects. Then the data will be analyzed quantitatively by calculating the percentage that refers to the three VAK learning styles (Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic). The results of the learning style analysis of all 7th grade students at SMP Negeri 01 Jaya Pura for the 2023-2024 academic year showed that there were 40% Visual learning styles, 23% Auditory learning styles, 31% Kinesthetic learning styles, 2% Visual Kinesthetic learning styles, 1% auditory visual learning is as much as 1% of the auditory kinesthetic learning style and 2% of the visual auditory kinesthetic learning style. From this research, it was concluded that the learning style of students in Class 7 of SMP Negeri 01 Jaya Pura for the 2023-2024 academic year was dominated by the visual learning style at 40% of the total class of students. These differences in student learning style tendencies can be accommodated by conducting differentiated learning so that it can meet student needs and student characteristics.

Abstract

Penggunaan media berperan penting dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas. Proses pembelajaran perlu menerapkan penggunaan teknologi dan informasi. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan media pembelajaran dalam bentuk aplikasi Android tentang materi virus untuk peserta didik kelas X SMA sekaligus mengevaluasi validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D, meliputi empat tahap: Define (Pendefinisian), Design (Perancangan), Development (Pengembangan), dan Dissemination (Penyebaran). Lokasi penelitian adalah SMA Negeri 3 Majene, Kecamatan Banggae Timur, Kabupaten Majene, Sulawesi Barat, dengan subjek penelitian terdiri dari 28 peserta didik kelas X MIPA 3 dan dua guru biologi. Validitas media pembelajaran berbasis Android dinilai oleh dua ahli menggunakan lembar validasi media dan materi, menghasilkan skor rata-rata 4,6 yang tergolong sangat valid. Kepraktisan diukur melalui angket respon guru dan peserta didik, dengan hasil 85,9% (peserta didik) dan 87,9% (guru), keduanya dalam kategori sangat praktis. Sementara itu, keefektifan diuji melalui tes hasil belajar, menunjukkan persentase 89,2% yang termasuk kriteria sangat efektif. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran berbasis Android ini dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Riset ini dilakukan karena adanya permasalahan pada kurangnya pemahaman konsep mathematics peserta didik. Riset ini adalah riset kualitatif deskriptif dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui kriteria pemahaman konsep mathematics peserta didik berdasarkan kemandirian belajar dan gender selama masa pandemi. SMP Negeri 8 Singkawang merupakan tempat dilakukannya riset dengan melibatkan peserta didik kelas VII. Tes pemahaman konsep mathematics, kuisioner, dan interview merupakan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan. Sedangkan reduksi data, presentasi data, dan penarikan konklusi merupakan teknik analisis data yang dilakukan. Hasil dari riset ini mengindikasikan (1) rata-rata pemahaman konsep mathematics peserta didik saat belajar daring selama pandemi menyandang kriteria tinggi untuk seluruh kriteria kemandirian belajar, baik dari segi sedang, rendah ataupun tinggi, (2) rata-rata peserta didik dengan gender perempuan menyandang pemahaman konsep mathematics saat belajar daring yakni sebesar 77,8 sedangkan rata-rata peserta didik dengan gender laki-laki menyandang pemahaman konsep saat belajar daring yakni sebesar 72,8. Adapun konklusi dari hasil riset ini yaitu (1) peserta didik yang menyandang kriteria kemandirian belajar tinggi, sedang, maupun rendah yang belajar daring saat pandemi menyandang pemahaman konsep mathematics yang tinggi. (2) Peserta didik dengan gender perempuan menyandang kriteria pemahaman konsep mathematics yang unggul daripada peserta didik dengan gender laki-laki saat belajar daring selama pandemi.

Abstract

Abstrak Guru sekolah dasar berperan penting dalam menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang tidak hanya berorientasi pada pengetahuan, tetapi juga menumbuhkan refleksi dan kesadaran diri peserta didik. Dalam konteks ini, penguasaan teknik bercerita menjadi strategi efektif untuk menerapkan pembelajaran bermakna berbasis deep learning yang mendorong keterlibatan emosional dan pemaknaan pengalaman belajar. Namun, banyak guru belum memperoleh pelatihan yang membantu mereka memadukan storytelling dengan praktik reflektif guna mendukung kreativitas dan kesejahteraan emosional. Program pengabdian masyarakat “Bercerita untuk Jiwa” dirancang untuk menjawab kebutuhan pengembangan profesional guru sekolah dasar melalui pelatihan storytelling berbasis deep learning dan praktik self-healing. Kegiatan difokuskan pada empat aspek utama: pemahaman pembelajaran bermakna, keterampilan storytelling edukatif, integrasi nilai budaya lokal, serta penguatan kesejahteraan emosional. Dengan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR), guru terlibat aktif dalam perencanaan, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi, sedangkan data diperoleh melalui kuesioner pra–pasca pelatihan. Sebanyak 32 guru dari KKG Kolonel Masturi Cimahi berpartisipasi, dan hasil analisis menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan pedagogis, kreativitas, dan keyakinan diri (Effect Size = 1,9 atau efek sangat besar). Pelatihan sederhana namun bermakna ini melahirkan karya cerita guru dan mendorong pengembangan soal kontekstual yang menciptakan pengalaman belajar lebih hidup dan relevan bagi siswa. Abstract Primary school teachers play a vital role in creating learning processes that go beyond knowledge acquisition by fostering students’ reflection and self-awareness. In this context, mastery of storytelling techniques serves as an effective strategy for implementing meaningful learning based on deep learning, which encourages emotional engagement and the construction of personal meaning. However, many teachers have not received adequate training to integrate storytelling with reflective practice that supports creativity and emotional well-being. The community service program “Bercerita untuk Jiwa” was designed to address the professional development needs of primary school teachers through deep learning-based storytelling training and self-healing practices. The activities focused on four main aspects: understanding meaningful learning, developing educational storytelling skills, integrating local cultural values, and strengthening emotional well-being. Using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, teachers were actively involved in planning, training, mentoring, and evaluation, while data were collected through pre- and post-training questionnaires. Thirty-two teachers from the Kolonel Masturi Teacher Working Group participated, and the analysis results showed improvements in pedagogical skills, creativity, and self-confidence (Effect Size = 1.9, indicating a very large effect). This simple yet meaningful training inspired teachers to produce original stories and develop contextual word problems, creating more engaging and relevant learning experiences for students.

Abstract

This study uses a quantitative approach, with experimental research methods. The purpose of this study is to find out how much the Inquiry Learning Model Affects the Cognitive Learning Outcomes of PJOK at SMP Negeri 1 Karawang Barat. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 1 West Karawang. The population of this study is class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 West Karawang which totals 480 people. The sample used in this study was Cluster Random Sampling, after being drawn, the sample in the study was class VIII B which amounted to 30 people, VIII F 30 people and VIII A 23 people with a total sample of 83 people. The form of research design uses a one-group pre-test-postest design. This research instrument uses multiple-choice test instruments. The results of this study were that the average before and after treatment increased, namely the mean pre-test was 62.12 to the mean post-test 67.13. Meanwhile, the results of the hypothesis test calculation of the paired t-test test with the data obtained from this study were a significance value (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that there was an influence of the pre-treatment value with the average value after treatment. It can be concluded that the Inquiry learning model can affect the cognitive learning outcomes of PJOK at SMP Negeri 1 West Karawang.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of teachers’ pedagogical competence in improving learning quality at SMP Negeri 14 Merangin. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with teachers, the principal/vice principal for curriculum, and students, complemented by classroom observations and document analysis of instructional plans and assessment records. Data were analyzed interactively through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Trustworthiness was ensured through source and technique triangulation and member checking. The findings indicate that pedagogical competence contributes significantly to learning quality through: (1) understanding students’ characteristics to adjust learning strategies, (2) structured lesson planning that clarifies learning goals and classroom flow, (3) active and communicative teaching practices that increase student engagement, (4) the use of learning media and technology to support concept visualization, although not yet consistently implemented, (5) formative assessment and specific feedback that help students improve understanding more quickly, and (6) reflective practice and follow-up actions that promote continuous instructional improvement. The study also highlights the need to strengthen the consistent use of instructional media/ICT and systematic follow-up based on assessment results (remedial and enrichment) to ensure more equitable and sustained improvements in learning quality.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the contributions of principal leadership, teacher performance, and parents’ involvement to students’ discipline at SMP Negeri 51 Merangin. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Informants were selected purposively, involving the principal, vice principal for student affairs, guidance and counseling teacher, homeroom teachers, subject teachers, parent representatives, and student representatives. Data were analyzed interactively through data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification, while source and method triangulation were used to enhance trustworthiness. The findings indicate that students’ discipline is strengthened by consistent principal leadership through role modeling, supervision, and policy enforcement; by teacher performance through classroom management, educative firmness, and positive reinforcement; and by parents’ involvement through active communication, home supervision, and support for school rules. In addition, the synergy of school regulations, violation records, and follow-up interventions conducted by homeroom teachers and counseling services enhances the effectiveness of discipline initiatives. The study concludes that student discipline is more effectively developed when leadership, classroom practices, and family support are aligned within a structured disciplinary system.

Abstract

Drug interactions are a major challenge in managing therapy for diabetes mellitus patients who often experience polypharmacy. This study aims to evaluate the prevalence, types, and clinical impacts of drug interactions reported in various studies in Indonesia over the past five years. A systematic method was conducted by searching articles from Google Scholar databases published between 2020 and 2025. Inclusion criteria included observational and experimental studies on pharmacotherapeutic interactions in patients diagnosed with diabetes mellitus in Indonesia. Of the 582 articles identified, 10 studies met the inclusion criteria. Results showed that interactions between metformin and antihypertensive drugs were the most commonly reported. The clinical impacts found included an increased risk of hypoglycemia and impaired kidney function. These findings highlight the importance of therapeutic monitoring and collaboration between pharmacists and healthcare professionals to reduce the risk of drug interactions. Abstract

Indonesian language learning in the Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Study Program should ideally not only focus on mastering language theory, but also on increasing students' learning motivation as creative and reflective prospective teachers. This study aims to (1) describe the application of the Joyful Learning approach in Indonesian language learning, (2) analyze its impact on PGSD students' learning motivation, and (3) identify supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. The study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data were collected through interviews and observations with lecturers and PGSD students at IKIP Siliwangi. The results showed that the implementation of Joyful Learning was able to create a learning atmosphere that was fun, interactive, and relevant to the teaching context in elementary schools. This approach increased students' intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, marked by increased participation, interest, and activeness in discussions and learning reflections. Supporting factors include lecturer creativity, student readiness, and a conducive learning environment, while the main obstacles were limited time, facilities, and variations in student character. Thus, Joyful Learning is effective in building the motivation and pedagogical competence of prospective elementary school teachers in Indonesian language learning. Abstract

Pendahuluan: Peningkatan kadar glukosa darah adalah tanda penyakit metabolik kronis yang dikenal sebagai diabetes karena gangguan dalam sekresi insulin atau respon tubuh terhadap insulin Penatalaksanaan diabetes melitus salah satunya adalah aktivitas fisik atau nonfarmakologi, penatalaksanaan nonfarmakologi dengan masalah perfusi perifer tidak efektif adalah dengan buerger allen exercise. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan quasi experiment design dengan rancangan non equivalent control group, dengan membandingan pre test dan post test serta membandingkan kelompok intervensi dengan kelompok kontrol. teknik pengambilan sampling adalah purposive sampling yaitu sebanyak 36 responden, terdiri dari 18 responden sebagai kelompok intervensi dan 18 responden sebagai kelompok kontrol. di lakukan selama 5 hari dengan 2 sesi. Analisa data menggunakan uji-t Dependen pada pre test dan post test dan uji-t Independen pada perbandingan kelompok intervensi dengan kelompok kontrol Hasil: Terdapat pengaruh penerapan burger allen exercis terhadap Glukosa darah pada pasien Diabetes Melitus tipe II pada kelompok intervensi dan kontrol dengan nilai p 0,05 Diskusi: Buerger allen exercise (BAE) efektip meningkatkan sirkulasi darah ke ekstremitas dan merangsang terjadinya gerakan kontraksi dan relaksasi pada pembuluh darah sehingga peredaran darah pada kaki menjadi lebih baik. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya intervensi non-farmakologis yang mudah diterapkan untuk stabilisasi glukosa darah pada pasien Diabetes Melitus tipe II. Kata kunci : Diabetes; Buerger allen exercise ; Ankle brachial index; Glukosa darah
