Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi  atau gambaran mengenai Pojok Baca sebagai program pelaksanaan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah dalam meningkatkan minat baca Siswa Sekolah Dasar di Gugus 1 Kecamatan Tanete Riattang, Kabupaten Bone. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah dan Guru. Instrumen utama dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri, sedangkan instrumen pendukungnya adalah pedoman wawancara, lembar observasi dan lembar pencatatan dokumen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis kualitatif deskriprif. Hasil dan kesimpulan: Pojok Baca sebagai program implementasi GLS  dalam meningkatkan minat baca Siswa Sekolah Dasar di Gugus 1 Kecamatan Tanete Riattang, Kabupaten Bone meliputi, (1) Pojok Baca terdapat  pada setiap ruang kelas, (2) pada setiap pojok baca terdapat buku-buku bacaan yang disimpan di suatu rak buku, (3) buku-buku dalam Pojok Baca bervariasi, (4) selain buku pelajaran, terdapat juga bacaan lain, seperti buku cerita, (5) ukuran luas pojok baca dapat memuat 2 sampai 3 orang karena itu untuk membaca buku siswa dapat duduk di tempat lain di luar pojok baca, (6) pada setiap pojok baca tidak disiapkan fasilitas untuk akomodasi (makan, minum atau camilan), (7) pojok baca masih perlu dilengkapi fasilitas berupa kipas angin dan buku-buku sesuai minat siswa, (8) pemanfaatan pojok baca belum maksimal dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa, dan (9) pojok baca dapat meningkatkan minat baca siswa terutama untuk siswa yang sudah mahir membacaKata Kunci: GLS, Pojok Baca, Kepala Sekolah, Guru, SD Gugus 1 Kecamatan Tanete Riattang

Abstract

Anak usia 5-6 tahun yaitu usia taman kanak-kanak (TK) merasa tertarik dan memiliki  rasa ingin tahu yang besar apabila orang tua dan guru menstimulasi anak dengan  pelbagai keterampilan, karena dunia anak adalah dunia imajinasi. Anak usia TK akan mengalami perkembangan psikomotorik yang signifikan apabila diberikan latihan yang menarik di kelas.Permasalahan di TK Laboratorium Persada Khatulistiwa adalah anak-anak suka bermain slime hanya masih perlu diberi latihan agar terdapat nilai seni dalam menghasilkan sesuatu sesuai imajinasinya. Guru menjadi  inspirator dalam melatih anak agar bisa menggunakan media slime dengan baik. Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat adalah mengetahui manfaat, fungsi dan pentingnya penggunaan media bermain slime untuk meningkatkan motorik halus anak usia dini di TK Laboratorium Persada Khatulistiwa, Mengetahui proses pelatihan  penggunaan media bermain slime untuk meningkatkan motorik halus anak usia dini di TK Laboratorium Persada Khatulistiwa, Mengetahui cara menggunakan media bermain slime untuk meningkatkan motorik halus anak usia dini di TK Laboratorium Persada Khatulistiwa. Metode yang digunakan dalam program pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah penyuluhan dan pelatihan.  Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat yaitu guru mengetahui manfaat, proses dan cara menggunakan media bermain slime untuk meningkatkan motorik halus anak usia dini di TK Laboratorium Persada Khatulistiwa.

Abstract

The current state of entrepreneurial motivation among students in Indonesia presents a noteworthy concern, as it appears to be relatively low, thus impacting the nation’s economic growth and employment prospects. This study seeks to explore the various factors influencing entrepreneurial intentions among college students, with a particular focus on family environment, locus of control, and adversity quotient. To conduct this research, we utilized a survey methodology, distributing questionnaires to 120 students from two esteemed Indonesian universities who have completed entrepreneurship courses and are actively involved in entrepreneurial initiatives. The findings revealed that family environment and adversity quotient exert a significant positive influence on students' entrepreneurial intentions, while locus of control did not show a substantial effect. These results emphasize the vital importance of family support and resilience in fostering entrepreneurial aspirations among university students. This research contributes meaningfully to the existing literature on entrepreneurship by illuminating the key roles of family environment and adversity quotient in shaping entrepreneurial intentions. It would be beneficial for future studies to further investigate the role of locus of control and to consider additional factors that may impact entrepreneurial intentions, thereby enriching our understanding of how to encourage entrepreneurial endeavors among students.

Abstract

Education is the most priority vehicle for all of Indonesian people in improving the quality of life and living. Therefore, education is the backbone of the progress of the Indonesian nation. All efforts are made to support this field so that its function can be realized. In the field of education, there are several urgent problems to be solved. One of them is the problem of teachers in making students creative in class. This also happened at SMPN 2 Barombong where the special science teachers did not know the right and effective way to improve the student creativity. To overcome this problem, training was conducted on how to make the students creative through controversial learning strategies. In this training, teachers expect a profile or guideline on how to make the students creative through controversial learning strategies. Finally, a profile or guideline is obtained on how to make the students creative in science learning through a controversial learning strategy consisting of 5 steps, namely: (1) the teacher presents the science material or themes or science questions that contain controversial issues, (2) the teacher invites/asks the students to share their answers/opinions accompanied by arguments regarding the issues (themes or questions) that have been presented, (3) the group students where the students who have similar/the same answers/opinions are included in the same group, (4) the controversial themes/issues/questions that have been identified and answered are then discussed, and (5) the teacher and students conclude and provide the suggestions for the learning that has been carried out.

Abstract

Abstract. Potato production is strongly influenced by the selection of suitable land for crops. Criteria for land suitability of planting potatoes is influenced by climatic factors and land characteristics. planted area clustered based on 11 criteria land suitability. The clustering results in the form of four clusters, namely: very suitable (S1), appropriate (S2), is quite suitable (S3) and are not suitable (N). Clustering of land aims to improve the quality and quantity of the potato crop. Clustering is done using a hybrid Particle Swarm Optimization with K-Means (KCPSO). The hybrid method is used to obtain an accurate result cluster. In this study used a new approach to doing improve KCPSO with random injection method. The calculation of the value of cost based on the silhouette coefficient. The results obtained KCPSO showed better results when compared to using the K-Means algorithm without hybrid. The calculation result KCPSO get the best centroid indicated by the value of the largest Silhouette coefficient.Keywords: Clustering, K-Means, Particle Swarm Optimization, random injection, silhouette Coefficient.

Abstract

The arrangement of seating in the classroom has an important role in increasing the effectiveness of student learning, especially in the Vocational High This study aims to explore the relationship between seating arrangement and student learning effectiveness. Using the interview method, this study collected data from students and teachers regarding the impact of the U-Shape and Cluster structuring models. The results of the study showed that the U-Shape arrangement increased student engagement, focus, and interaction with the teacher, while the Cluster arrangement supported collaboration and comfort in group work. Students also recommend a combination of the two models to create a more optimal learning environment. These findings emphasize the importance of considering seating arrangement as a strategic factor in the effective learning process in vocational schools.School (SMK) environment such as SMK Negeri 1 Ngasem.

Abstract

Currently, we still often find messy classrooms, high classroom temperatures, ventilation and lighting systems that are not appropriate for the classroom, tables and chairs that are not neatly arranged, and learning materials that are not arranged well, which affects concentration. and interaction. The aim of this research is to identify the effect of U-Shape and Cluster class divisions on interactions between students and teachers, as well as between students and other students in learning activities, identify the impact on student concentration, and evaluate the effectiveness of the layout. This research uses qualitative methods by means of observation and questionnaires given to class XI students of Modeling Design and Building Information at SMK Negeri 1 Ngasem Kab. Kediri. Data obtained from interviews with students and studying several articles were then processed into narratives for discussion. To assess interaction and concentration in different types of layouts. Research shows that a more flexible layout, namely U-Shape, significantly increases interaction between students and teachers, as well as between students and other students in learning activities. In addition, this research found that ergonomic classroom layouts that can be modified based on learning needs tend to be more effective in increasing student concentration. Thus, classrooms that are designed flexibly and more interactively have proven effective in creating a more dynamic learning atmosphere, increasing engagement, and facilitating student focus. These findings provide recommendations for educators and schools to consider more effective classroom designs to support the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

This study examines how the giving method impacts student engagement in education at Vocational High Schools (SMK). Using a qualitative approach with case studies, it was found that the Giving approach increased student engagement physically, emotionally, and cognitively. Students became more active, more motivated, and better understood what they were doing. Despite issues such as limited facilities and varying student participation, teachers said classroom interactions were better. The Giving method, which addresses existing issues, has been shown to improve student engagement and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahasa tentang pelatihan pembuatan pakan ternak Silase dan pupuk Bokasih yang berbasis pada sistem fermentasi pada masyarakat Buddha di Desa Jatimulyo Kabupaten Kulonprogo. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) yaitu model pemberdayaan masyarakat yang menekankan pada pemanfaatan aset dan potensi yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat untuk meningkatkan taraf hidup masyarakat. Memanfaatkan aset lokal secara optimal Bahan Baku Alami: Jerami, daun hijauan, dan kotoran ternak dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber utama, mengurangi ketergantungan pada bahan komersial. Pengetahuan Tradisional: Teknik pengolahan pakan dan pupuk berbasis fermentasi memanfaatkan kearifan lokal yang telah terbukti efektif. Penyuluhan tentang pakan ternak dan manfaat fermentasi dan bokasi, menyebarkan tentang pengetahuan pembuatan pakan ternak dan bokhasi Inovasi dalam formulasi pakan eksperimen dengan kombinasi bahan pakan yang berbeda untuk meningkatkan kandungan gizi atau menurunkan biaya.  Meningkatkan produktivitas dan nilai tambah pakan fermentasi: Menambah kandungan nutrisi dan meningkatkan efisiensi pakan, mendukung pertumbuhan ternak yang lebih baik. Bokashi: Mengubah limbah menjadi pupuk organik berkualitas, meningkatkan kesuburan tanah untuk mendukung siklus pertanian. Kolaborasi dan Pemberdayaan komunitas melibatkan berbagai pihak (peternak, tokoh adat, pemuda) memperkuat solidaritas dan kerja sama. Sistem gotong royong dalam pengumpulan bahan baku, pengolahan, dan distribusi produk meningkatkan rasa kepemilikan masyarakat. Mendukung ekonomi berkelanjutan lingkungan: mengurangi limbah organik dengan mendaur ulang menjadi produk yang bermanfaat. Ekonomi: Hasil produksi pakan dan bokashi dapat digunakan sendiri atau dijual, meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat.

Abstract

This research is a pre-experimental research study aimed to determine whether the Learning Starts With A Question method has an effect on improving the IPAS learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Inpres 3/77 Bajoe 1. The research design used is One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. The population in this study were all of the fourth-grade students of SD Inpres 3/77 Bajoe 1 with a sample of 19 students selected based on the saturated sample technique. The data obtained were then analyzed using a paired sample t-test with a significance level of 5%. From the results of the data analysis, it was obtained that tcount = 8.785> ttable = 2.100. So, t count> ttable then H0 is rejected which means that the IPAS learning outcomes before and after the implementation of the Learning Starts With A Question method differ significantly. Because the average IPAS learning outcomes of students after the implementation of the Learning Starts With A Question method are higher than before the implementation and the average is significantly different, it can be said that the Learning Starts With A Question method has a significant effect on improving the IPAS learning outcomes of students in grade IV of SD Inpres 3/77 Bajoe 1, Tanete Riattang Timur District, Bone Regency.
