Abstract

This study aimed to develop and examine the feasibility and preliminary effectiveness of an Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)-integrated outdoor learning design to enhance students' systems thinking skills in science classrooms, responding to the urgent need for instructional approaches that address students' limited ability to understand complex sustainability issues at the primary education level. The study employed a Design and Development (D&D) research approach, consisting of needs and context analysis, design development, expert validation, and limited implementation. The study involved 200 elementary school students selected through purposive sampling from public schools representing diverse learning contexts. Research instruments included validation sheets, learning implementation tools, and a systems thinking test. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Percentage Agreement (PA) for reliability, paired difference testing, and N-gain analysis. The results indicated that the developed design, learning worksheets, and instruments were highly valid and reliable. Limited evaluation results indicated a significant improvement in students' systems-thinking skills, with a moderate N-gain score. These findings suggest that ESD-integrated outdoor learning can foster a holistic understanding of sustainability issues. It is recommended that future studies implement large-scale programs and investigate the long-term impacts on sustainability-oriented behaviors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini melihat bagaimana kualitas informasi, kepuasan konsumen, dan kepercayaan konsumen mempengaruhi loyalitas konsumen pada platform e-commerce. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk berkontribusi pada pengembangan teori di bidang perilaku konsumen digital sekaligus memberikan implikasi manajemen yang relevan bagi operator sektor e-commerce yang ingin mempertahankan loyalitas konsumen. Penelitian ini mengambil pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis jalur (path analysis). Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara online melalui Google Form dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 160 orang yang diperoleh melalui teknik purposive sampling, yang kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa kualitas informasi dan kepuasan konsumen berpengaruh positif terhadap kepercayaan konsumen. Kualitas informasi, kepuasan konsumen dan kepercayaan konsumen berpengaruh terhadap loyalitas konsumen. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memahami bagaimana kualitas informasi, kepuasan, dan kepercayaan membentuk loyalitas konsumen di e-commerce. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan melibatkan platform lain dan pendekatan metode yang lebih beragam agar hasilnya lebih menyeluruh.

Abstract

Bullying is a phenomenon that often occurs in the world of education, including the elementary school environment. So that to prevent and handle it requires the right strategy. This study aims to identify factors that influence bullying behavior and explain the strategies used by teachers in overcoming bullying behavior that occurs in the elementary school environment. This study was conducted in one of the elementary schools in Karawang Regency. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques included interviews with four homeroom teachers, observation, and documentation taken during the study. The results showed that the factors that influence bullying behavior in elementary schools include individual factors, peers, and social media. Teachers' strategies in overcoming bullying include prevention and treatment strategies. The prevention strategies used are instilling character education through reading the Qur'an and praying duha, providing classical guidance, collaborating with parents, monitoring students who often bully and creating study groups. The handling strategies used by teachers are providing classical guidance in front of the class, finding out the root of the problem first, giving appeals as well as warnings to bullying perpetrators, imposing punishment on bullying perpetrators, communicating with parents to inform the problems experienced by children when in the school environment, and involving parents in the reconciliation process between students involved in bullying actions.

Abstract

Purpose: Therefore, this study aims to examine the effectiveness of the PASPOR learning model in improving students’ mathematical communication skills and to determine whether learning gains differ across initial ability levels. Method: This study employed a quasi-experimental approach using a one-group pretest posttest design. The participants consisted of 62 pre-service elementary teachers enrolled in a mathematics course. Data were collected through a validated mathematical communication test administered before and after the implementation of the PASPOR learning model. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to describe changes in performance, normalized gain (N-Gain) to measure the magnitude of improvement, and one-way ANOVA to compare learning gains among students categorized into low, medium, and high initial ability groups. Findings: The results indicate a substantial improvement in students’ mathematical communication skills following the implementation of the PASPOR model. The mean score increased from 43.84 in the pretest to 80.65 in the posttest. The average N-Gain of 0.67 indicates a medium-to-high level of improvement. In addition, ANOVA results showed no statistically significant differences in learning gains across initial ability groups (F = 0.536, p = 0.588). Significance: These findings suggest that the PASPOR learning model effectively enhances mathematical communication skills and supports equitable learning improvement among students with diverse initial abilities.

Abstract

In the 21st century, everyone faces challenges of globalization, including young children. Based on previous research, abilities can be developed through a child-centered approach. The Reggio Emilia Approach is one of those. Reggio Emilia uses project-based learning and open-ended materials to develop 21st-century skills. However, the Reggio Emilia Approach has another component that may also be developed to strengthen those abilities. This study aims to see whether all the Reggio Emilia components can address the challenges and to assess the feasibility of applying this approach in the Indonesian context. This study uses a literature review method, analyzing 2 primary sources on the Reggio Emilia Approach, 1 primary source on Education according to Ki Hajar Dewantara, and 62 articles, including primary and secondary sources, on the Reggio Emilia Approach and 21st-century skills.

Abstract

This research aims to develop the SIPAKAR (Practice and Reflection Information System) learning model as a digital system that supports learning progress tracking and formative assessment for Teacher Professional Education (PPG) Culture Arts students at partner schools. SIPAKAR is designed as an integrative platform that allows students to systematically document the practice of artworks and reflection activities, as well as allows lecturers and teachers to conduct formative assessments based on real-time data. The research approach used is the ADDIE development model, which at this stage is limited to the Development (D) stage, including the Analysis, Design, and Development stages of initial prototypes. The analysis stage includes a study of user needs, a study of PPG learning characteristics, and the identification of gaps in the existing documentation and assessment systems. At the design stage, the researcher developed a system structure that includes the features of paper uploads, rubric assessments, reflection journals, and learning progress tracking charts. The development phase resulted in a web-based prototype of SIPAKAR that was tested on a limited basis and received input from early users. Provisional results show that this model has the potential to improve clarity of learning outcomes, reflective student engagement, and accountability of lecturer and partner teacher assessments. This study recommends the integration of SIPAKAR into the technology-based PPG learning system in a broader and sustainable manner.
