Abstract

This research aims to develop the SIPAKAR (Practice and Reflection Information System) learning model as a digital system that supports learning progress tracking and formative assessment for Teacher Professional Education (PPG) Culture Arts students at partner schools. SIPAKAR is designed as an integrative platform that allows students to systematically document the practice of artworks and reflection activities, as well as allows lecturers and teachers to conduct formative assessments based on real-time data. The research approach used is the ADDIE development model, which at this stage is limited to the Development (D) stage, including the Analysis, Design, and Development stages of initial prototypes. The analysis stage includes a study of user needs, a study of PPG learning characteristics, and the identification of gaps in the existing documentation and assessment systems. At the design stage, the researcher developed a system structure that includes the features of paper uploads, rubric assessments, reflection journals, and learning progress tracking charts. The development phase resulted in a web-based prototype of SIPAKAR that was tested on a limited basis and received input from early users. Provisional results show that this model has the potential to improve clarity of learning outcomes, reflective student engagement, and accountability of lecturer and partner teacher assessments. This study recommends the integration of SIPAKAR into the technology-based PPG learning system in a broader and sustainable manner.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi pembelajaran deep learning by doing dalam menstimulasi kemampuan calistung (membaca, menulis, dan berhitung) pada anak usia dini di TK Yaa Buannya Kota Bima. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru dan anak didik, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan deep learning by doing dilakukan melalui aktivitas belajar yang kontekstual, partisipatif, dan berbasis pengalaman langsung, seperti bermain sambil belajar, penggunaan media visual, serta praktik menulis dan berhitung sederhana dalam situasi nyata. Pendekatan ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan anak, memperkuat pemahaman konsep dasar calistung, serta mengembangkan kemampuan kognitif dan motorik secara simultan. Kendala yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan media pembelajaran dan variasi kemampuan anak. Dengan demikian, implementasi deep learning by doing efektif sebagai strategi pembelajaran inovatif dalam menstimulasi kemampuan calistung anak usia dini.

Abstract

This study is based on the importance of fostering creativity in young children through exploratory and enjoyable activities. At Family Kananta Kindergarten, teachers strive to find learning methods that allow children freedom of expression while stimulating their fine motor skills, imagination, and symbolic thinking abilities. To address these needs, the finger painting and magic painting methods were implemented as tools for children to express their ideas and feelings through the touch of color and texture. The objective of this study is to factually describe the implementation process of these two methods and to identify their impact on children’s creative development. This is a qualitative descriptive study using a field study approach. Research data sources include teachers, students, and documents of children’s artwork at Family Kananta Kindergarten. Data collection techniques were conducted through direct observation of the activity process, in-depth interviews with teachers, and documentation of the children’s work. The research procedure included the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection on learning outcomes. The data obtained were analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and inductive reasoning to draw conclusions. The research results indicate that the implementation of the finger painting and magic painting methods successfully fostered children’s creativity comprehensively. Children became more active, more confident in expressing themselves, capable of generating original visual ideas, and demonstrated significant improvements in fine motor coordination. Additionally, their self-confidence, symbolic and imaginative thinking skills, as well as collaborative attitudes and empathy, grew through shared activities. These methods have proven effective in creating a creative, enjoyable, and meaningful learning environment at Family Kananta Kindergarten.

Abstract

This study addresses the need for a valid and reliable instrument to assess students’ cognitive abilities in physics, particularly in the areas of temperature and heat, which are often associated with conceptual difficulties and misconceptions. The study aimed to evaluate the quality of a cognitive ability test instrument developed based on Marzano’s taxonomy by applying the Rasch measurement model. A quantitative design was employed, involving 138 high school students in grades XI and XII from one school in Bandung City, comprising 74 females and 64 males. The instrument comprised 25 multiple-choice items representing five cognitive aspects of Marzano’s taxonomy: retrieval, comprehension, analysis, knowledge utilization, and metacognition. Data were analyzed using Winsteps 3.73 to examine item fit, item difficulty, unidimensionality, reliability, person–item distribution, and Differential Item Functioning (DIF) based on gender. The results showed that the instrument generally met Rasch model expectations, with good internal consistency (Cronbach’s alpha = 0.76), very high item reliability (0.92), and fair person reliability (0.69). Most items fit the model, although several items showed overfit or unexpected response patterns and require refinement. The item difficulty distribution was dominated by difficult items; the raw variance explained by the measures was 20.3%, and the Wright map indicated that the instrument was reasonably aligned with students’ ability levels, though it was less optimal for very high-ability students. DIF analysis showed that most items were gender-neutral, while a small number indicated potential differential functioning. The novelty of this study lies in the systematic operationalization of Marzano’s taxonomy into item construction and its evaluation using Rasch analysis in the context of temperature and heat. Overall, the instrument is sufficiently valid for measuring cognitive ability and provides a useful contribution to physics education by offering a psychometrically informed framework for developing more rigorous and meaningful assessment instruments.

Abstract

Purpose: This study analyzes the implementation of the New Student Admission Policy (PPDB) at SD Negeri 20 Palembang using a collaborative governance approach based on the Triple Helix model, emphasizing interaction between government, academia, and society. Design/Methodology/Approach: A qualitative descriptive method was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the Palembang City Education Office, school actors, and parents as informants. Findings: Although the PPDB policy was implemented according to regulations, its effectiveness remains low. The online registration system failed due to limited digital literacy and community access. Collaboration among actors exists but remains administrative, lacking synergy and innovation, resulting in suboptimal policy outcomes. Practical Implication: The government must strengthen its role as both regulator and facilitator through intensive socialization, technical assistance, and digital literacy training. Schools should serve as mentoring centers for parents navigating the online system. Supporting facilities such as internet access must be provided, and the PPDB policy should be made more flexible and adaptive to local social conditions to prevent digital access gaps. Originality/Value: This study contributes a novel analytical framework by integrating collaborative governance and the Triple Helix model in the context of local digital education policy. Unlike previous studies focused on technical aspects, this research uncovers structural policy failure through institutional asymmetry and pseudo-collaboration. It demonstrates that digital transformation in education requires not only technological readiness but also social readiness and equal collaborative capacity among all stakeholders. Abstract

Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan di Desa Tandam Hilir Satu, Kecamatan Hamparan Perak, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, dengan tujuan meningkatkan efisiensi produksi pakan dan memperkuat kapasitas manajemen usaha peternak kambing rakyat. Permasalahan utama mitra adalah proses pencacahan pakan yang masih dilakukan secara manual, membutuhkan waktu 3–4 jam per hari, melibatkan dua hingga tiga tenaga kerja, dan berdampak pada tingginya biaya operasional. Solusi yang diterapkan berupa inovasi teknologi Chopper & Mixer Pakan Kambing Inovatif Hemat Energi (CHOMIK-E), pelatihan pembukuan sederhana, serta pelatihan pemasaran digital dan branding usaha. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif melalui analisis situasi, perancangan teknologi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan efisiensi waktu sebesar 60%, penurunan biaya tenaga kerja hingga 40%, dan peningkatan kapasitas produksi pakan tiga kali lipat. Mitra juga mampu menerapkan sistem pembukuan usaha dan mengelola pemasaran digital melalui identitas usaha “Mitra Muktar Farm.” Kesimpulannya, kombinasi inovasi teknologi dan penguatan manajerial mampu merevitalisasi usaha peternakan kambing rakyat dan mendorong keberlanjutan ekonomi masyarakat pedesaan.

Abstract

Truss morfometrik merupakan metode pengukuran ikan dengan menggunakan titik patokan yang berhubungan dan membentuk tubuh ikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan morfometrik ikan palau (Osteochilus vittatus) asal Sungai Kelekar dan Sungai Benuang. Prosedur penelitian ini terdiri dari penentuan lokasi, pengukuran parameter lingkungan, pengambilan sampel, proses identifikasi ikan palau, pengukuran truss morfometrik dan meristik. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan morfometrik O. vittatus asal Sungai Kelekar dan Sungai Benuang pada O. vittatus betina sebanyak 6 karakter dan 5 karakter untuk jantan. Terdapat juga perbedaan karakter meristik pada O.vittatus jantan dan betina dari kedua sungai tersebut. Rasio kelamin pada Sungai Kelekar menunjukkan bahwa jumlah ikan jantan yang tertangkap lebih besar dibandingkan ikan betina, sebaliknya pada Sungai Benuang jumlah ikan jantan yang tertangkap lebih sedikit dibandingkan ikan betina.

Abstract

Based on the results of a preliminary observation, the activities of Majelis Taklim Miftahul Ulum in Sulai Village, which were previously conducted once a month, have not been active in recent months. This community engagement program aimed to enhance participants’ understanding through practical mentoring on the procedures of thaharah (ritual purification), as well as to foster religious awareness and spiritual responsibility among the women members of the majelis taklim regarding the importance of maintaining both physical and spiritual purity as the fundamental foundation of worship. This mentoring activity employed the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, which integrates research, action, and direct community participation in a cyclical process to address problems and empower the community. The implementation of this community service program adopted participatory and educational approaches. The results indicated that, prior to the mentoring program, the level of understanding among the women members of Majelis Taklim Miftahul Ulum in Sulai Village regarding the concept and procedures of thaharah was relatively low. The implementation of the mentoring program had a positive impact on improving the quality of their religious practices. This impact was evident not only in the technical aspects of worship performance but also in changes in attitudes, increased spiritual awareness, and the strengthening of women’s roles in fostering religious life within their families.

Abstract

This study examines the use of the Team Quiz method to improve Fasting Fiqh learning in an elementary school in Karawang. The problem addressed is the use of monotonous teaching methods that reduce student interest and engagement. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that the Team Quiz method increases student participation, improves practice scores, and creates a more enjoyable learning atmosphere. However, challenges include dominant participation by high-achieving students and the need for strong teacher supervision. Overall, the method is effective in enhancing students’ understanding and involvement, with positive responses as it helps reinforce comprehension and memory

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi teknologi dan keterampilan praktik mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Komputer melalui pelatihan penerapan Internet of Things (IoT) berbasis mikrokontroler. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan edukatif, partisipatif, dan praktik berbasis proyek yang melibatkan 30 mahasiswa. Materi pelatihan meliputi konsep dasar IoT, konfigurasi mikrokontroler ESP32, integrasi sensor dan aktuator, pemrograman menggunakan Arduino IDE, komunikasi nirkabel, pemantauan data real-time, dan pengujian dashboard sederhana. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, pre-test dan post-test, tugas praktik, respon peserta, serta dokumentasi kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan praktik mahasiswa. Rata-rata nilai peserta meningkat dari 54,2 pada pre-test menjadi 86,1 pada post-test dengan persentase peningkatan sebesar 31,9%. Mahasiswa menjadi lebih mampu menjelaskan arsitektur IoT, merangkai rangkaian dasar, membaca data sensor, mengunggah program ke mikrokontroler, dan menampilkan hasil monitoring melalui dashboard web sederhana. Secara keseluruhan, pelatihan ini efektif dalam memperkuat literasi IoT, berpikir komputasional, dan kompetensi praktik mahasiswa. Kegiatan ini juga menegaskan bahwa praktik IoT berbasis mikrokontroler relevan digunakan sebagai strategi pembelajaran kontekstual untuk menyiapkan mahasiswa menghadapi perkembangan teknologi industri digital.
