Abstract

Abstract: The purpose this study was to design Student Worksheet (LKM) based Green Pedagogy. Research conducted at the campus of the Faculty of Sciences of Education University of Riau (Biologi FKIP UR) in January-June 2015. The LKM is designed to help students explore biology pre- teacher to understanding of the environment and sustainability to foster competence ESD biology teacher, LKM development is based on a 5-dimensional model of burn that content contains of LKM contained sustainability issues that context is local and close to the student. The issues raised trying to dig critically reflective abiding students to be able to think and act green through experiential learning and active participation in learning. Type this study was research and development by using ADDIE’s model. Instrument in this study were used observation sheets, interviews sheet, validation sheets and questionnaire responses sheets. The development of LKM was validation by 3 validator. Aspects assessed on LKM which aspects of design, pedagogy, and the content and language. There are 13of LKM based Pedagogy Green was develop, validation values showed that average score validation in the range of 3.06 to 3.19 with a valid category. Advice given validator for LKM serve as revision material prior to LKM before preliminary field test. preliminary field test held on 20 students of Biology Education. Based on student responses to the use of the LKM was excelent with obtained a score of 85.83% on aspects of design, 86.56% on aspects of pedagogy, and 85.50% on aspects of language and content.Keywords: Student Worksheet (LKM), Green Pedagogy, Education for Sustainable Development, Sustainable Issues.

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to improve science learning outcomes of students with the application of cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together at SMPN 2 Sinaboi VIIB class in the academic year 2015/2016. Which was conducted in March 2016. The subjects were students of SMPN 2 Sinaboi VIIB grade school year 2015/2016 with a total of 25 people (11 students and 14 female students). Which lasted for two cycles in which the first cycle with the material classify living things based on the characteristics possessed by the material and the second cycle describes the diversity of the organizational system of life from the cellular level up to 3 times the organism replicates harian. Parameter meetings including that measured learning outcomes students consisting of absorption students and students learning completeness, awards groups, student activities and teacher's activities. Absorptive capacity of the students in the first cycle 73% (enough) and the second cycle 82.4% (good). Mastery learning in the first cycle 80% complete and has increased in the second cycle at 88%. Group awards in the first cycle there is one super group and the second cycle there are two super groups. Average student activity in cycle I 60.38% (or less) and the second cycle increased to 86% (excellent). The average teacher activity increased by 90.5% (excellent) and the second cycle of 100% (excellent). From these results it can be concluded that cooperative learning model NHT can improve learning outcomes IPA class VII SMPN 2 Sinaboi in the academic year 2015/2016.Keywords: Learning Outcomes IPA, Cooperative Learning, Kooperati Type Numbered Heads Together (NHT)

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a classroom action research aims at increasing Biology learning activities and outcomes in cognitive class XI science 3 Darul Hikmah Islamic Senior High School Pekanbaru through the Application of Numbered Head Cooperative Learning Model Together (NHT) is assisted by fortune wheel props. The subject of this study was students of class XI Science 3 Darul Hikmah Islamic Senior High School Pekanbaru 2018/2019 academic year, totaling 19 students, all of whom were male. Student learning activity data was obtained from the observation activity learning sheet assessed by the observer. Biology learning outcomes in the cognitive domain are seen from the absorption and completeness of learning. The results of this study indicate that student learning activities increased by a percentage of 80.26 (sufficient category) in the first cycle and increased to 87.9 (good category) in cycle II. The absorption of students also increased from cycle I to cycle II from 79.95 (enough category) to 86.95 (good category). Student completeness increased from cycle I to cycle II, with completeness percentage 78.95% (enough category) to 100% (very good category). From the results of this study it can be concluded that the Application of the Cooperative Learning Model Numbered Head Together (NHT) assisted by the Wheel of Fortune Props can improve the activities and learning outcomes of Biology in the cognitive domain of class XI Science 3 Darul Hikmah Islamic Senior High School Pekanbaru.Key Words: NHT Type Learning Model, Wheel of Luck, Learning Activities, Cognitive learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of chitosan concentration and smoking time on organoleptic tests of catfish (Pangasius sp) salai and its potential to produce student worksheet designs for food additives material in biology learning in class XI SMA. This research is a descriptive study using the Hedonic method which was carried out in July-September2020 at the laboratory of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Riau University, Pekanbaru. In the organoleptic test on catfish (Pangasius sp) salai, involving 10 respondents consisting of 2 artisans of salai fish and 8 people as panelists. The results showed that respondents preferred fish with 3% chitosan concentration treatment and 3 days smoking on the appearance, scent, taste and texture aspects of salai catfish. The data from this research also has the potential to become a student worksheetdesign for food additives in biology learning in class XI high school.Key Words: Chitosan, Smoking Time, Pangasius Sp, Organoleptic, LKPD.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the public relations strategy of Makassar State University in increasing the positive image of Makassar State University in the community. To find out these objectives, the researchers used a type of qualitative descriptive research. The informants in this study were as many as five people using data collection techniques carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. Data obtained from research results are processed using data analysis techniques consisting of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that Public Relations devised a strategy so that the function could run in accordance with the objectives of Makassar State University, among others, trying to create a conducive climate between institutions and the public in order to do persuasive and educative approaches to the public, trying to create two-way communication by disseminating information from institutions to public parties. educate and provide information, in order to create mutual understanding, respect, understanding and also strive to foster harmonious relations between organizations and various groups, both in and out relations to enhance cooperation. Public Relations seeks to socialize the Makassar State University mission to be accepted or received support from the public / public.

Abstract

ABSTRACTIntroduction: exclusive breastfeeding. Factors that affect mothers not to give breast milk to babies, including the condition of mothers who are stressed, lack of confidence can cause the production of breast milk not smooth. The aim of this study was to study the combination of oxytocin therapy and music therapy in breast milk production and breastfeeding self-efficacy in postpartum mothers.Method: The study design used Quasy Experiment with a pre-posttest design. The population of mothers after childbirth who worked in the Kalijudan Health Center area, Surabaya. The sample used was 80 respondents, divided into 2 groups, 40 intervention groups and 40 control groups with purposive sampling. The independent variable is a combination of oxytocin therapy and music therapy. The dependent variable is breast milk production and breastfeeding self efficacy. The instrument used was a questionnaire breastfeeding production and breastfeeding self efficacy was validated and reliably. The research data were analyzed by the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and the Mann Withney test.Result: the results showed that there was a combination of oxytocin therapy and music therapy in breast milk production (p = 0,000) and breastfeeding self efficacy (p = 0,000) in the treatment group. There was a significant difference between the control and treatment groups in breast milk production (p = 0,000) and breastfeeding self efficacy (p = 0,000). Conclussion: the combined effect of oxytocin massage and music therapy effectively increases breast milk production and the efficacy of caring for it. Keyword: Oxytocin Massage, music therapy, ASI production, Breastfeeding Self Efficacy.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The research was to determine utilization of organic waste with starter fluid cow rumen raw material for biogas production in March and May 2015. Results of the study are used to enrich the teaching materials in the form of biology modules vocational school Agriculture on the concept of waste management. This research was carried out by two phases: experimentation and enrichment modules. Research conducted experiments using completely randomized design (CRD) non factorial, which consists of 4 treatments and 3 replicates in order to obtain 12 experimental design. If there is a real test there will be a further test Duncans Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at 5%. The parameters observed biogas volume, the color of the flame, calor and power. Enrichment module is performed on the stage of analysis and design. The results showed that the use of organic waste with starter fluid cow rumen could potentially produce methane gas as a source of biogas. Treatment A (25% substrate: 75% starter) are best produce biogas with a biogas volume of 11.57 L, color blue flames, calorific value 5670 J and power 132.98 watts for 28 days of fermentation. The results could be used as an module enrichment for biological subjects Agriculture vocational school on the concept of waste management. Keywords: Module, Organic Waste, Fluid Cow Rumen, Biogas.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of NAA and Kinetin on the growth of explants dragon fruit (Hylocereus costaricensis). This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Biology Education University of Riau and Laboratory Biotechnology of Riau Islamic University from May to August 2012, using a completely randomized design of 3 x 3 factorial with four replications. The first factor (N) is the NAA consists of 3 level: 0 ppm, 0.2 ppm and 0.4 ppm. The second factor (K) is the Kinetin consist of 3 level: 0 ppm, 3 ppm and 4 ppm. Parameters measured were percentage grows, the amount of buds and amount of roots. The data were analyzed using ANAVA and tested further by DMRT at 5% level. The results of this research showed of NAA and Kinetin significantly affect the growth of explants Dragon Fruit. The percentage of explants grown 100% all treatments, except treatment N0 K4, N0,2 K0 and N0,2 K3. Highest amount of buds in treatment N0,4 K3 is 2.25 buds and the amount of roots the best treatment of N0,4 K4 is 5.25 roots. Based on the results of the research treatment N0,4 K4 is the best treatment.Keywords: Kinetin, NAA, Tissue culture.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted on toxicity tests of rengas (Gluta renghas) bark extract to shrimp larvae Artemia salina in July to September 2015. This research aims to determine the toxicity of rengas (Gluta renghas) bark extract to shrimp larvae of Artemia salina. This research was carried out by experimental research using Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) method which consisted of 5 treatments and 3 replications. Parameters measured were the mortality of shrimp larvae Artemia salina. The data obtained and analyzed by probit analysis using regression equation. The results showed that the extract of bark rengas (Gluta renghas) is toxic to shrimp larvae of Artemia salina. Abstract

interactions on levels of vitamin C and weight loss of chili (Capsicum frutescens L.), which is performed at the Laboratory of Biology Education and the Laboratory of Soil Science FKIP Faperta UR on November-December 2011. The research design was randomized block design (RGD) factorial with two factors: package varians and time of storage. The package varians consist of plastic, newsprint, and banana leaves, and the time of storage consist of 0 day (control), 3 days, 6 days and 9 days with three replications. The parameters in this reseach are vitamin C levels, weight loss, color and texture of chili. The levels of vitamin C and weight loss were analyzed by ANAVA and then tested by DMRT 5% level, while the observation of color and texture were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the interaction of a banana leaf package varians and storage of 3 days have the highest levels of vitamin C is 55,17 mg and the interaction of a newsprint package varians and storage of 9 days showed the highest weight loss is 26,32%. Banana leaves package varians have the highest levels of vitamin C 51,16 mg and the lowest weight loss is 5,95%. 3 days storage time have the highest levels of vitamin C 53,12 mg and the lowest weight loss is 7,84%. The conclusion is the interaction of banana leaf package varians and 3 days time storage gives the best quality of color and texture compared to other treatment interactions. Banana leaves are good for package chili. The increasing of time storage will increase the weight loss, decrease the vitamin C level and the color and texture quality of chili.Keywords : Chili, Levels of vitamin C, Package varians, Time of storage, Weight loss
