Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve critical thinking skills through project-based learning using origami media in children at Tk At-Thoriq Kepahiang Regency, to find out how children improve critical thinking in project learning using origami media, Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is focused on the classroom situation, which is used in the form of a cycle. The main subjects in this study were 10 children of Tk At-Thoriq Kepahiang Regency. Data collection techniques using observation and documentation methods. Data analysis was carried out descriptively qualitative-quantitative with the emphasis used to determine the improvement of the process expressed in a predicate, while quantitative data analysis was used to determine the improvement of results using percentages. The conclusion of the study that children's intelligence in critical thinking skills in learning using origami media in children of Tk At-Thoriq Kab Kepahiang Developed very well.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out whether traditional clog games can improve social emotional development in children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Gemilang, Kepahiang Regency. This research is a type of Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is focused on classroom situations, or commonly known as classroom action research, the procedures used are cyclical. The main subjects in this study were children aged 5-6 years totalling 15 people. This research uses the Jhon Elliot model where each cycle consists of four activities, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection which are carried out through two cycles. Data collection techniques using observation and documentation methods. Data analysis was carried out descriptively qualitative-quantitative. The results of children's cognitive development through the application of montessori methods in group B at Gemilang PAUD Unit, Kepahiang Regency, in cycle I was 74.16% (BSH) and in cycle II showed an increase of 89% (BSB). It is concluded that traditional clog games can improve social emotional development in children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Gemilang Kepahiang Regency. Evidently in cycle II there was a significant increase, the percentage result was 89% (BSB).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Implementation of Differentiated Learning in Early Childhood at Paud Al-Anisa, Bengkulu City. This research method is descriptive qualitative. Qualitative research is research that produces descriptive data processing. Data collection used in the study was by using observation, interviews, and documentation with three data analyzes, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of differentiated learning in early childhood, namely: 1) content is the material that will be taught that will be understood, appreciated, and learned by children, 2) the process is an effort where children collect information and learn it, 3) the product is the result of learning how to evaluate children's knowledge, abilities, and understanding after completing one learning, 4) the learning environment of the class structure personally, socially, and physically.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement in children's ability to recognise letters through the use of coffee beans at the Sinar Kungkai Early Childhood Education Centre in Seluma Regency. This study was a classroom action research (CAR) study using a cyclical procedure. The subjects of this study were 11 children in Group B at the Sinar Kungkai Early Childhood Education Centre. The research was conducted over two cycles, each consisting of two meetings. Data analysis was performed using both qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods, with the qualitative analysis focusing on determining the improvement in the process, expressed as a predicate, while the quantitative analysis was used to determine the improvement in outcomes using percentages. Based on the research results, the improvement in children's ability to recognise letters through the use of coffee beans as a teaching aid at PAUD Sinar Kungkai was as follows: in Cycle I, Session I, the percentage was 38.06%; in Cycle I, Session II, the percentage was 44.31%; in Cycle II, Session I, the percentage was 63.02%; and in Cycle II, Session II, the percentage was 81.81%. The conclusion of this study is that the use of coffee bean media in learning can improve children's ability to recognise letters at PAUD Sinar Kungkai in Seluma District, as evidenced by an increase in Cycle II Session II with a percentage achievement of 81.81% and a very good development criterion (BSB).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement in children's socialisation skills through traditional marbles games at the Sinar Kungkai Early Childhood Education Centre in Seluma Regency. This study was a classroom action research (CAR) study using a cyclical procedure. The subjects of this study were 11 children in Group B at the Sinar Kungkai Early Childhood Education Centre. The research was conducted over two cycles, each consisting of two meetings. Data analysis was performed using both qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods, with the qualitative analysis focusing on determining the improvement in the process, expressed as a predicate, while the quantitative analysis was used to determine the improvement in outcomes using percentages. Based on the research results, the improvement in children's socialisation skills through traditional marbles games at PAUD Sinar Kungkai was 39.20% in Cycle I, Session I; 48.86% in Cycle I, Session II; 58.52% in Cycle II, Session I; and 80.68% in Cycle II, Session II. The conclusion of this study is that the use of traditional marbles games in learning can improve children's social skills at PAUD Sinar Kungkai in Seluma District, as evidenced by an increase in Cycle II, Session II, with a percentage achievement of 80.68%, meeting the criteria for ‘very good development’ (BSB).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of assistant teachers in the implementation of the independent curriculum at TK Alam Mahira in Bengkulu City. This study used a qualitative descriptive method. Data were obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation with three data analyses, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions, with information consisting of assistant teachers, classroom teachers, and school principals. The results of this study indicate that the role of assistant teachers in the implementation of the independent curriculum at TK Alam Mahira in Bengkulu City is as follows: 1) as educators, assistant teachers play a significant role in helping students during the learning process, 2) as mentors, they provide guidance to students in overcoming problems and give students freedom to act independently, 3) as trainers, they play an active role in fostering independence in students.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan perkembangan kreativitas anak melalui bermain plastisin di PAUD Beringin Indah kabupaten Benteng. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) atau disebut juga Classroom action research dengan prosedur yang digunakan berbentuk siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok A di PAUD Beringin Indah yang berjumlah 15 orang anak. Penelitian dilaksanakan dua siklus dua pertemuan. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskripsi kualitatif dan kuantitaif dengan penekananya digunakan untuk menentukan peningkatan proses yang dinyatakan dalam sebuah predikat, sedangkan analisis kuantitatif dugunakan untuk menentukan peningkatan hasil dengan menggunakan presentase. Hasil peningkatan perkembangan kreativitas pada anak dengan bermain plastisin di PAUD Beringin Indah pada siklus I pertemuan ke I dengan presentase 37, 08%, di siklus ke I pertemuan ke II dengan presentase 43,33%, siklus ke II pertemuan ke I dengan presentase 62,01% dan siklus II pertemuan ke II dengan presentase 80,41%. Kesimpulan penelitian bahwa menggunakan permainan plastisin dapat meningkatkan perkembangan kreativitas pada anak di PAUD beringin Indah Kabuoaten Benteng, terbukti pada siklus II pertemuan Ke II terjadi peningkatan dengan hasil presentase pencapaian sebesar 80,41% dengan kriteria berkembang sangat baik (BSB).

This study was a classroom action research (CAR) study using a cyclical procedure. The subjects of this study were 14 children in Group A at PAUD Aisyah. The research was conducted over two cycles, each consisting of two meetings. Data analysis was performed using both qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods, with the qualitative analysis focusing on determining the improvement in the process, expressed as a predicate, while the quantitative analysis was used to determine the improvement in outcomes using percentages. The results of the improvement in children's ability to recognise letters through the letter snake and ladder game at PAUD Aisyah in cycle I meeting I were 32.58%, in cycle I meeting II 41.07%, in cycle II meeting I 59.82%, and in cycle II meeting II 81.73%. The conclusion of the study is that using the letter snake and ladder game can improve children's ability to recognise letters at PAUD Aisyah Pondok Kelapa, as evidenced by the improvement in Cycle II, Session II, with a percentage achievement of 81.73% and a criterion of very good development (BSB).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in the ability of a sense of responsibility in children through mutual cooperation activities at PAUD Oryza Sativa, Kepahiang Regency. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) or also called Classroom action research with the procedure used in the form of a cycle. The subjects of this study were children in group A at PAUD Oryza Sativa, Kepahiang Regency, totaling 20 children. The study was carried out in three cycles. Data analysis was carried out in qualitative and quantitative descriptions with the emphasis being used to determine the increase in the process expressed in a predicate, while quantitative analysis was used to determine the increase in results using percentages. The results of increasing the ability of a sense of responsibility in children using mutual cooperation activities at PAUD Oryza Sativa, Kepahiang Regency in cycle I with a percentage of 30.62%, in cycle II with a percentage of 56.25%, and cycle III with a percentage of 80.93%. The conclusion of the study is that using mutual cooperation activities can improve the ability of children to feel responsible at PAUD Oryza Sativa, as proven in cycle III where there was an increase with the percentage of achievement of 80.93% with the criteria of developing very well (BSB).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in symbolic thinking in children using the number mortar media at PAUD Oryza Sativa, Kepahiang Regency. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) or also called Classroom action research with the procedure used in the form of a cycle. The subjects of this study were children in group A at PAUD Oryza Sativa, Kepahiang Regency, totaling 20 children. The study was carried out in three cycles. Data analysis was carried out in qualitative and quantitative descriptions with the emphasis being used to determine the increase in the process expressed in a predicate, while quantitative analysis was used to determine the increase in results using percentages. The results of the increase in symbolic thinking skills in children using the number mortar media at PAUD Oryza Sativa, Kepahiang Regency in cycle I with a percentage of 31.87%, in cycle II with a percentage of 51.25%, and cycle III with a percentage of 85.31%. The conclusion of the study is that using number mortar media can improve symbolic thinking skills in children at PAUD Oryza Sativa, as proven in cycle III where there was an increase with a percentage of achievement of 85.31% with the criteria of developing very well (BSB).
