Abstract

On February 1, 2020, the Islamic banking sector under the auspices of BUMN inaugurated a merger of Islamic banks including BRI Syariah, BNI Syariah, and Bank Syariah Mandiri merging to become Bank Syariah Indonesia. The merger of these three banks will have complete competence, because each merged bank has its own advantages. Merger can be defined as a business union and / or joint supervision, the merger of two or more companies under one ownership, and the takeover of all assets and liabilities owned by a company to be merged with a company that takes over or a new company. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. It can be seen that the results of the merger of 3 Sharia banks have had an impact on the economy in Indonesia, including printing millennial entrepreneurs through business incubator scholarships, collaborating with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy to target MSME financing in the tourism sector and creative economy, developing the Sharia economy by collaborating with research institutes and universities, and some. The prospect of establishing Bank Syariah Indonesia can provide access to Islamic financial solutions in Indonesia, become a large bank that provides the best value for shareholders and becomes the company of choice and pride for Indonesia's best talents.

Abstract

Zakat is one of the obligations of Muslims as a form of social responsibility towards less fortunate members of the community. Zakat can be distributed in various forms, one of which is productive zakat, with the hope of providing benefits to the recipients (mustahik) as it is given in the form of business capital. Providing business capital to mustahik aims to empower them and lift them out of poverty. As in Baznas Lampung Province which managed to distribute 85% of zakat funds and given to 8 asnaf. One of the distributions is in the form of productive zakat where in March 2022 as many as 142 musthik were successfully empowered but on the one hand it is not comparable to the number of poor people in Lampung Province reaching 995,590. This is because the collection of zakat funds has not been maximized so that the distribution cannot be done to mustahik who have entrepreneurial skills but do not have capital due to being in the poverty line. The purpose of this research is to examine the distribution of productive zakat funds in improving the welfare of mustahik from the zakat funds managed by the Lampung Provincial Baznas. This research adopts a qualitative method with a sample of 10 people, consisting of 5 Baznas officials and 5 mustahik. Data collection was done through interviews with the research respondents or informants. The research results indicate that the distribution of productive zakat funds as business capital has been able to help the mustahik recipients in developing their businesses and enables them to use the profits to support their living needs, reducing their dependence on financial assistance from others.

Digital Marketing In Islamic Economic Perspective. Marketing is an activity in which sellers offer products that consumers can buy. While Islamic marketing is a process and strategy (wisdom) of fulfilling needs through halal products and services (tayyibat) with mutual agreement and welfare (Falah from both parties, namely buyers and sellers for the purpose of achieving material and spiritual prosperity in this world and in the hereafter). In digital marketing with an Islamic perspective, all activities related to the technology must be based on sharia law. Just as digital activities are not allowed to contain usury (interest), activities in cyberspace do not contain maisir (gambling), activities involving the manufacture and/or sale of illicit products are prohibited, and the prohibition on activities containing elements of gharar (uncertainty).

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of religious beliefs, perceived benefits of halal products, social influence, and attitudes towards halal products on the halal purchase intention among non-Muslim customers in Surabaya. Utilizing a quantitative research design, data were collected from 150 non-Muslim respondents through an online survey distributed via social media. The analysis was conducted using SmartPLS to evaluate the relationships between the constructs. The findings reveal that even among non-Muslim customers, strong religious beliefs can foster positive attitudes towards halal products due to shared ethical and health values. Perceived benefits, including health, ethical, and quality advantages, significantly enhance attitudes towards halal products. Social influence from family, friends, and social media positively impacts non-Muslim customers' attitudes, highlighting the role of social endorsement in shaping perceptions. Furthermore, a positive attitude towards halal products is a strong predictor of purchase intention, indicating that favorable perceptions directly translate into a higher likelihood of purchase. These findings contribute to the understanding of consumer behavior in the context of halal products and offer practical implications for businesses aiming to target non-Muslim customers. By recognizing the importance of religious beliefs, perceived benefits, and social influence, companies can develop more effective marketing strategies to promote halal products beyond the Muslim community. .

Abstract

Boycotting products has become a phenomenon that has garnered global attention, especially in the context of the conflict between Israel and Palestine. As one of the largest fast-food brands in the world, McDonald's has been targeted for boycotts by several groups and individuals who oppose the company's policies and practices perceived to be involved in the conflict. This research aims to analyze the influence of relational marketing and brand image on customer loyalty in international franchises amid the Palestinian conflict. The study uses purposive sampling techniques with a Likert scale distributed to 100 McDonald's consumers via Google Forms, tested using IBM SPSS Statistics 26. The results of the study indicate that the variable of relational marketing does not have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. However, for the second hypothesis, brand image has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. It can be concluded from the test results that the variables of relational marketing and brand image simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty.

Abstract

Abstract

AbstractBased on Sharia Commercial Bank Statistics Data, the value of profitability is measured by Return On Assets that have decreased from 2013-2017. This happens because the NPF ratio has increased from year to year (if there is much problematic financing, the cost of providing a loss will be high, which causes the BOPO ratio to increase). So that Sharia Commercial Banks must reduce the FDR ratio, with the reduction in the distribution of funds to customers making the Sharia Commercial Banks experience a reduction in income to be received. That way can cause the level of profitability to be obtained decreases. This study aims to determine the effect of the ratio of FDR, NPF, BOPO to the profitability of Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with panel data regression analysis methods and hypothesis testing using (F test, t-test, R2), and data processing using Eviews 9. The test results obtained together with variables FDR, NPF, BOPO significantly influence towards ROA. Partially, FDR has no significant negative effect on ROA. NPF variable is not a significant positive effect on ROA. BOPO variable has a negative and significant effect on ROA. R2 test of 82.73% while the remaining 17.27% is influenced by other factors outside the study. BOPO variable has a negative and significant effect on ROA. R2 test of 82.73% while the remaining 17.27% is influenced by other factors outside the study. BOPO variable has a negative and significant effect on ROA.
