Abstract

This study seeks to determine the effect of government spending, level of concern, and economic growth on I-HDI in the OIC countries with good governance as moderation in 2010-2019. This study uses explanatory quantitative research methods. The sampling technique in this research is non-probability sampling, with a sample of 10 countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive analysis, Generalized Least Squares (GLS) model, hypothesis testing, and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) model. The results of statistical testing show that the variable government expenditure and unemployment rate do not affect the Islamic Human Development Index, while the variable economic growth has a negative effect. In addition, good governance cannot moderate the effect of government spending on the Islamic Human Development Index, while the unemployment rate and economic growth can be moderated in their influence on the Islamic Human Development Index. Thus, it can be concluded that to increase the human development index in the Islamic perspective, and there is a need for good governance so that human development in the OIC country is increasing.

Abstract

Psychological factors are important factors in sports achievement. Psychological training programs in sports have been used in various fields to improve skills. This study uses survey with a test and measurement approach, a type of quantitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were 8 rock climbing athletes. The instruments used were concentration, anxiety, and confidence. The results of the analysis obtained from the calculation of the psychological profile of the NTB rock climbing athletes are concentration with an average of 10.87, anxiety with an average of 19.50, motivation with an average of 115.87, and confidence with an average of 120.50. The weakest psychological indicator was concentration, while anxiety and self-confidence were average indicators. On the other hand, motivation was a strong point and was categorised as good. There were several limitations to consider in this study. First, this study focused on four psychological factors, namely concentration, anxiety, motivation, and self-confidence, while potentially neglecting other significant aspects of the psychological profile of the athlete. Second, there were only nine participants in the sample, limiting the generalizability of the results. Future research should surmount these limitations by incorporating a broader range of psychological factors and increasing the sample size to produce more exhaustive and representative results. The findings of this study highlight the significance of continuous mental training to enhance the performance of rock climbers. In addition, this study provides practitioners and researchers with a valuable resource for addressing issues related to an athlete's psychological well-being.

Abstract

IntroductionGreen waqf offers an Islamic philanthropic mechanism for financing environmental conservation and sustainable development in Indonesia. Despite its potential to support climate action, ecosystem protection, and renewable resource management, public participation remains limited, while the behavioral drivers of green waqf differ across generations. Understanding these differences is necessary for designing effective strategies that connect charitable giving with environmental responsibility.ObjectivesThis study examines the determinants of intention to donate to green waqf and compares their effects across Generations Z, Y, and X. It evaluates the roles of religiosity, subjective norms, product knowledge, trust, environmental knowledge, and attitude within an extended Theory of Reasoned Action framework.MethodA quantitative cross-sectional design was employed using an online questionnaire distributed to respondents across several regions of Indonesia. A total of 220 valid responses were analyzed, comprising 84 Generation Z, 74 Generation Y, and 62 Generation X participants. The relationships among constructs were tested using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling, while intergenerational differences were examined through Multi-Group Analysis after measurement invariance assessment.ResultsAttitude significantly predicts intention to donate to green waqf across all three generations and represents the most consistent behavioral determinant. Product knowledge also directly influences intention across Generations Z, Y, and X. Religiosity and subjective norms consistently shape attitudes, although their direct effects on intention are limited. Religiosity directly influences intention only among Generation Z, while environmental knowledge directly influences intention only among Generation Y. Trust directly affects Generation Z intention but contributes more strongly to attitude formation among Generations Y and X.ImplicationsGreen waqf institutions should adopt generation-sensitive strategies. Religious framing and institutional trust are especially relevant for Generation Z, environmental information is more influential for Generation Y, and transparent governance and rational evaluation are particularly important for Generation X.Originality/NoveltyThis study contributes to green waqf and Islamic philanthropy literature by demonstrating that the determinants of charitable giving intentions are not uniform across generations. It extends the Theory of Reasoned Action by integrating religious, cognitive, environmental, and institutional factors within an intergenerational model of green waqf participation.
