Abstract

The effect of cigarette smoke exposure on reproductive health has been widely studied, showing various physiological disorders induced by free radicals and oxidative stress. This study aimed to assess the protective effect of ethanol extract of black garlic (Allium sativum) on some reproductive parameters of female rats Rattus norvegicus exposed to subacute cigarette smoke. A proper experimental method with a post-test-only control group design was used, involving 25 rats divided into five groups with three different doses of the extract. The rats were exposed to cigarette smoke and then treated for 28 days. Results showed a significant decrease in ovarian Malondialdehyde levels and increased fallopian tube smooth muscle thickness in the extract-treated group. In addition, black garlic extract successfully increased the number of endometrial arterioles in the group exposed to cigarette smoke and extract, in contrast to the group exposed to cigarette smoke only. This study concludes that black garlic extract has the potential to be a protective agent against oxidative damage in the reproductive system of rats exposed to cigarette smoke, with effectiveness that depends on the dose of extract given. Further studies should investigate the long-term effects and optimal dosing of black garlic extract in humans. Additionally, exploring the molecular mechanisms behind its protective properties could enhance its application in reproductive health management.

Abstract

Cigarette smoke exposure significantly impairs reproductive function in Rattus norvegicus. This study evaluated the protective effects of black garlic extract against such damage. Using a post-test-only control group design, 25 female Wistar rats were divided into five groups and exposed to cigarette smoke with or without varying doses of black garlic extract. After four weeks, results indicated that black garlic extract significantly increased Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor expression, enhanced fallopian tube secretory epithelial cell counts, and reduced ovarian follicular atresia in rats exposed to cigarette smoke. The group receiving 50 mg/kgBW of black garlic extract showed the most significant improvements. Statistical analysis, including One-way ANOVA, revealed significant differences between groups. Normality was assessed using the Shapiro-Wilk test, and homogeneity was confirmed with the Levene test. Significant decreases in ovarian follicular atresia (p < 0.05) and increases in Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor expression (p < 0.05) and secretory epithelial cell counts (p < 0.05) were observed in the 50 mg/kgBW treatment group compared to controls. In conclusion, black garlic extract offers dose-dependent protection against cigarette smoke-induced reproductive damage, with 50 mg/kgBW being the optimal dose. Further research should explore molecular mechanisms, long-term toxicity, and clinical applications in humans.

Abstract

Abstract: Aqil baligh is a thing that indicates the relationship between the maturity of the mind (aqil) with the physical maturity (baligh) of the individual. Currently, there are many phenomena where teenagers who have reached puberty but do not understand the obligations they are responsible for. With the teacher in accompanying students, those who enter puberty can get an understanding of the changes in themselves. The objectives of this study are: (1) Describe the role teachers in mentoring students during puberty in MTsN 8 Kediri, (2) Analyzing supporting and inhibiting factors in mentoring students during puberty in MTsN 8 Kediri. This research uses a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques with observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The process of checking data uses triangulation techniques, and source triangulation. Based on the results of this study, it was found: (1) Teachers can optimize their pedagogical competencies in assisting students during puberty, namely; Teachers carry out their role as educators and instructors as guides, as examples, and as facilitators and learning resources for students (2) The supporting factors of student assistance are teacher awareness of the importance of mentoring, cooperation between Fiqh teachers and religious teams, as well as adequate infrastructure and facilities. While the inhibiting factors are limited time for mentoring, as well as the environment and association. Abstrak: Aqil baligh merupakan hal yang menandakan terkaitnya kedewasaan akal (aqil) dengan kedewasaan fisik (baligh) individu. Saat ini banyak fenomena dimana para remaja yang telah baligh tetapi belum paham mengenai kewajiban yang menjadi tanggungjawabnya. Dengan adanya guru dalam mendampingi peserta didik, maka mereka yang memasuki aqil baligh bisa mendapatkan pemahaman tentang perubahan dalam dirinya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran guru dalam mendampingi peserta didik masa aqil baligh di MTsN 8 Kediri beserta faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam proses pendampingan tersebut. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Proses pengecekan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik, dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa: (1) guru bisa mengoptimalkan kompetensi paedagogis yang dimilikinya dalam pendampingan peserta didik masa aqil baligh yaitu; guru menjalankan perannya sebagai pendidik dan pengajar, sebagai pembimbing, sebagai teladan, serta sebagai fasilitator dan sumber belajar bagi peserta didik (2) Faktor pendukung dari pendampingan peserta didik yaitu kesadaran guru mengenai pentingnya pendampingan, adanya kerja sama antara guru dan tim keagamaan, serta sarana prasarana dan fasilitas yang memadai. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya yaitu terbatasnya waktu pendampingan, serta lingkungan dan pergaulan.

Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) dan Artificial Intelligence (AI) telah menjadi bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dalam proses pembelajaran matematika saat ini. Tujuan riset ini mengetahui seberapa jauh kemampuan guru matematika dalam memanfaatkan AR dan AI dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru-guru matematika yang telah menggunakan AR dan AI dalam proses pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini karena dapat memberikan gambaran dan deskripsi yang lengkap. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan deskripstif kualitatif yang membantu peneliti memberikan penguatan atas temuan yang di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa AI dan AR sangat membantu guru dalam pembelajaran matematika yang lebih berkualitas. Tantangan terbesar pembelajaran matematika berbasis AI dan AR yaitu proses penyiapan pembelajaran yang sangat membutuhkan waktu tetapi disisi lain, kegiatan persiapan pembelajaran yang sangat membutuhkan waktu, tenaga, dan modal yang tidak sedikit masih belum diperhitungkan sebagai beban kinerja guru.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of tax audits and taxpayer compliance with the Tax Ratio at the South Tangerang Primary Tax Office. In this study using a quantitative approach with data techniques using a questionnaire. The scale of data measurement with a Likert scale. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis with the help of the SPSS version 25 program. The results showed that the Tax Audit variable has a significance level of 0.045. The sig value of 0.045 is smaller than 0.05 and the t-count value of 2.041 is greater than the t-table value of 1.6637. So it can be interpreted that the Tax Audit variable has a positive and significant effect on the Increase in Tax Ratio. The Taxpayer Compliance variable has a significance level of 0.007. The sig value of 0.007 is smaller than 0.05 and has a t-count value of 2.756 which is greater than the t-table value of 1.6637 and can be interpreted as Taxpayer Compliance which turns out to have a positive and significant effect on increasing the Tax Ratio. Based on the research results, it is expected that KPP Pratama South Tangerang can maximize the implementation of tax audits so that taxes and tax revenues increase and are expected to be able to conduct counseling and outreach aimed at increasing taxpayers.Key words: Tax Audit, Tax Payer Compliance, Tax Ratio

Abstract

The examination of the J-curve effect has been grown primarily for the case of aggregate trade level in some countries. Most studies assume that the exchange rate affects the dynamics of aggregate trade balance symmetrically. To fill the gap of the empirical studies, this manuscript attempt to revisit the presence of J-curve and analyze the effect of Indonesian Rupiah vis-à-vis Chinese Yuan on bilateral trade balance between Indonesia and China, whether symmetric or asymmetric. We employ autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) and its partial sum concept of nonlinear manner to estimate quarterly data from 2002:I to 2017:IV. The result shows evidence of the asymmetric effect of the exchange rate on the trade balance, and the nonlinear approach provides more support to discover the presence of the J-curve impact of bilateral trade between Indonesia and China.

Abstract

This research is inspired by the importance of Arabic vocabulary mastery as the foundation of Arabic language proficiency. Initial observations in class 8 of MTs Nahdlatul Ulama Maesan Bondowososhowed that most students still have difficulties in mastering and using Arabic vocabulary in daily learning. This impacts their low ability in Arabic language skills such as reading, writing, and speaking. This study aims to analyze the level of Arabic vocabulary mastery among students of class 8 MTs Nahdlatul Ulama Maesan Bondowosoand identify factors that influence their vocabulary mastery. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through vocabulary mastery tests, learning observations, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation. The results showed that the level of Arabic vocabulary mastery among students in class 8 is still relatively low, with an average score of 65.5 out of a maximum score of 100. The influencing factors include lack of learning motivation, insufficient practice in using vocabulary during learning, and limited learning media supporting Arabic vocabulary mastery.

Abstract

This research is aimed at learning the role of teachers in promoting social intelligence for younger age children. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative. The research is done in kindergarten in the great wrwanman village, the jombang district, jember. Based on the research that has been done that the development of emotional social aspects in preteen age should be considered. The importance of developing emotional social relationships for a child at a young age helps him to understand the environment, the importance of emotional social aspects for a child because he or she is able to socialize. At an early age, children can be taught to build social relationships. Through introduction, children begin to interact and share. Teachers are one of the critical components of the education and teaching learning process. There are three roles of teachers in the process of developing emotional social parenting at rahman's kindergarten. Among other things: a teacher's role as a model in a teacher's learning activity provides a good example for children to appreciate each other, to speak politely (saying please, thank you and sorry). The teacher's role as inspiration in teacher learning is discovering new ideas related to the learning process, inspiring teaching is developing a more creative mind pattern of the child and leaving the child dependent not in class, but becoming a lifelong learning. Abstract

In learning the character of discipline as one of the characters in Core Competence (KI)-2, social attitudes show honest, disciplined, polite, confident, caring, and responsible behavior in interacting with family, friends, teachers, neighbors, and the country. Based on this, the classroom teacher becomes the main actor in shaping the disciplined character of students in online and offline learning. This research method is qualitative with the type of case study, data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the formation of student discipline character in online and offline learning in class II SD Pls Sunan Ampel City Kediri includes example giving gifts, giving sanctions, connecting books, and habituation. Contraints and solutions for the formation of disciplinary character in online and offline learning include the limitations of class II teachers in appling the method of formation and there are different student characters. The solution given is to give reprimand, advice, motivation, and cofirm collaboration with parents. Keywords : Discipline Character, Online and Offline Learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas program documenter kuliner di YouTube,  Kisarasa yang dipandu oleh Chef Juna dan Chef Renata. Dalam teori representasi milik Stuart Hall dijelaskan keterlibatan antara penggunaan gambar, bahasa, tanda maupun simbol-simbol untuk mengekspresikan makna. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis representasi isi konten dalam mendeskripsikan budaya kuliner YouTube di Kisarasa dengan judul “Rijsttafel, Sisa Jejak Kolonialisme di Tanah Batavia”.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis isi kualitatif. Pada bidang komunikasi, metode penelitian isi kualitatif berfokus pada analisis konten teks atau pesan. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah tayangan program YouTube Kirarasa dengan sample penelitian berjudul “Rijjstafel, Sisa Jejak Kolonialisme di Tanah Batavia” sebagai medium representasi budaya kuliner rijjstafel.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan isi konten YouTube Kisarasa  merepresentasikan bagaimana budaya kuliner rijjstafel di masa lampau. Bentuk yang muncul terlihat dari konsep budaya kuliner yang terdiri dari apa dan bagaimana makanan yang baik untuk dimakan, kombinasi makanan yang pantas, cara penyajian yang pantas, waktu yang pantas untuk makanan, peralatan yang tepat digunakan untuk makan dan etiket dalam penyajian makan yang baik. Sajian gambar yang tersaji dalam video ini memiliki kecenderungan serupa atau merepresentasikan dengan bentuk rijjstafel di masa lampau.
